Hello, evreryone

I was one of the ''lucky'' batch 1 owners.
failed from the start, random offline issues and afer a coupple of weeks only one board out of tree worked!
I sent back for RMA, 2 faling boards and controller board.
thing is i got back 3 boards no controller, will the S5 controller work in anyway with it causes cables are the same....
any help appreciated 2000 euro went to 700 $ in the waiting peride.

sorry bitmain your trusted and valued in my opinion but this sucks big time................!

5  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Nexious.com WARNING POOL OPERATOR IS NOT PAYING NOR RESPONDING on: December 06, 2015, 09:53:05 PM

6  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BETA][ANONYMOUS][0% FEE] FIZTONIC Bitcoin Mining Server on: December 06, 2015, 09:49:17 PM
I vote every new pool operator should send 25 btc to a reputable member in escorw.
If they will not, F them. nobody should send hash to potentialis malicious pool operaters!
Like Nexious, I tried to give them bennefit of the doubt but even public know people run off with blocks!

Otherwise we have a few pools we can trust and if you want to support ''small'' pools kano/ck pool is the place to go.

 Undecided

not granting warrenty. Please contcat me though pm.
they just waited to reply (about a week ) after one year and said warrenty exprired!
i asked for rma before one year was over.
this is not lawfull and they know it.................

ps. where does one order a ribbin cable if  one is lost...

you'll have to make your own, but it's pretty easy and you can use common slip jaw pliers instead of a crimper

just be careful to double/triple check the orientation of the plugs (or order extras)

10  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Nexious.com WARNING POOL OPERATOR IS NOT PAYING NOR RESPONDING on: November 27, 2015, 10:40:11 PM
so why did nobody call SCAM from the beginning, I lost maybe 1 btc in expected earnings but a lot of noobs getting burned by this shit. just like altcoins...

We as community need to ackt up.
If there will be one place to scam on the internet it will be with btc.
Said to see this happening to my 1 btc earnings, but more if a new pool or someone with good intentions starting something we can't scream SCAM right away.

but unfortunately a lot of people will take advantage of this.

If the pool operator is a known person somebody should take action.
If somebody ID is being abusede please be carefully before action taken.

just my 2 penny's

lost 1 btc............ what's the next scam?

How long would an RMA process take as I am still in the warrenty periode.
I live in the Netherlands

You'll be serviced by Bitmain china then, so potentially measured in weeks.

oke I have chanced PSU's maybe this helps,
but a lot of others seem to have the same problem.
if I had an easy remote power off and on than I could live whit it but I buy a 2000$ +machine and it goes offline whenever he feels like it.

If things keep the way they are I will be reqesting RMA just before me 90 days are up.
When do they begin when machine is deleverd right?
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S7 Setup [HD] on: November 19, 2015, 05:11:02 AM
some S5 also have this problem.
they must be powered off and on again to work.

so I think it has nothing to do with the miniing pools and more with the machine itself.

16  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Nexious.com - 5BTC Block Finder Bonus! - Pays Tx, PPLNS, 0% Fee Promo on: November 17, 2015, 10:21:28 PM
To Mr Bravo,
Bravo you found the block!
At least now we will know whether or not not this was real or scam.
I lost faith after the endless 5 BTC bonus extensions en 20% bonus for everyone!
He could not even hash at his own pool because of sever costs.

Come on even BAN did not offer anything more than 10% and miner giveaways at the start to attract miners which probably was not a real scam.

unlike this is appearing to be..... Angry

still hoping for the best but thing ain't looking good for us Sad

just updated first post

What kind of PSU are you using?  Are you using all 4 PCIe cables to power it up as well?  Is this a new(used) unit to you or did this just start happening?

Also, do you have pools defined on MRR?  You need to have a pool defined in the webui there otherwise your miner won't hash through them.  I don't know if it would fail over to your third pool, kano.is, because I haven't tried that.

this is one of the last of 20 s5's tested same psu (lepa 1600) and config
so there should be no problem from those things

wtf Huh

just hw errors tried everything
different controller board
different cabels
different freq

I don't know what could be the problem....

I could try differnt pool,
once had an s1 that did the same but only on nicehash.

20  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Nexious.com - 5BTC Block Finder Bonus! - Pays Tx, PPLNS, 0% Fee Promo on: November 17, 2015, 02:18:25 PM
I'm almost owend 1 btc so i'm conserend and not mining here anymore.
How do you figure you're "owed"?  This is not a PPS pool.  You aren't owed a damn thing until the pool finds a block, at which point you are paid for the number of shares you have at that time.  Hence PPLNS: paid per last N shares.  I don't know what the N window is here for Nexious, but your shares are only good for that time frame.  If a block hasn't been found within that N time frame, then those shares don't get paid.

maby i put in in the wrong words but my estimated earnings is almost 1 btc.

is the 5 btc bonus in escrow?
