3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idea: How to increase bitcoin demand on: September 12, 2018, 12:25:47 PM

Contact e-commerce websites like Amazon, and request that you want to pay with Bitcoin, Ether or any other coin you like.

It can be done by using site's feedback or contact us forms.

This way we can create demand because good e-commerce sites care about their users. And they know that the more payment methods you have the higher the conversion rate (the % of people who buy something) because some users can use only 1 method of payment. For example, some americans can only pay with Paypal while some venezuelans can only pay with Bitcoin, etc. So, if the site supports more payment methods it will convert more orders on average.

To increase the demand for implementing cryptocurrency payments in e-commerce sites we just have to request that using the contact us or feedback forms. The more people give feedback to their favorite online retailers the more people will start using bitcoin as payment method (now that we have segwit).

The more people do this the more demand for Bitcoin there will be.

Thanks to those who do that.
well this was already discuss, but this is very good plan to introduce bitcoin and other crypto currencies, some of e-commerce are accepting bitcoin or any crypto currencies as payments.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leave Crypto? on: September 11, 2018, 02:29:14 PM
After the gloomy days of the BTC in 2018. Some of my friends have left the market because of losses. When entering the market, people need to take risks.  From my friends, I think some of the following will benefit you living in this market:
Psychological control
Questions you should ask
You buy hold coin or you transaction?
These are the two most commonly used methods. However, buying and keeping a coin is the method that suits most people. This is a very simple, fast way of making good money in the top 20, like litecoin, bitcoin, ethereum. Ripple, store somewhere, do not read the news, do not worry about the transaction or the predictions the coin will die of the media. After a few years, they pulled out and sold.
In case you want to trade, the story is quite different, you need to buy on sale. And very simple rules, buy low sell high. As you know it is easier said than done.
Do you have money to invest?
If you do not have a lot of money, start with a small amount of money. Do not use debit card, plug the house. Plug the money into the market. The more likely you will be burnt bags. Only invest the money you have lost.

this is very truthful if they cant afford to lost their investment they would hold some money for their own because risk what you can afford to lose.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: September 11, 2018, 06:43:41 AM
Reports have it that bank frauds still continue to happen despite of strict security measures being taken by the banks. Just between January to July 2018, just timeshare fraud alone had 1.155 reported cases. It's when you’re told you can go on a free holiday or get rich by joining an exclusive holiday club or timeshare programme, but you’re eventually forced to pay for it through small print in the contact. That is not to mention other types of fraud like identity theft etc.

This gets me thinking, is it safer to just have bitcoins, or cryptocurrencies for that matter since it's not regulated by banks? What do you think?
well it depends extra security applied on crypto will be great like 2fa or authenticator, how ever lets admit it be aware to those hacker keep your credential on only one computer, bank is a good place to keep your money safe but if there is a robbery at that bank or any anomalies its pretty hard to trust another bank again.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will keep people from getting into cryptocurrency? on: September 07, 2018, 05:08:10 AM
I thought about the unpredictability of bitcoin and its current status and it made me realized that this might drive people away from getting into cryptocurrency. What do you think are the other reasons that will keep people from using bitcoin?
there is a lot of use with bitcoin, you can transfer money in a minute easily, you can buy online without credit cards and you can buy a prepaid load to your mobile. its not all about investments.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin drops sharply by about 300$ today! on: September 05, 2018, 01:54:48 PM
So, I thought the bitcoin's volatility attribute was being checked by the SEC and other world financial bodies, if so, why the sharp price fall that just happened in about an hour ago?
everything un-expected has a possibility to happen to the market, that is the characteristic of volatility
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New type of scammers in telegram! Keep your bitcoins safe! Watch out! on: September 05, 2018, 11:52:42 AM
Be very careful of this new type of scammers in Telegram. They use the names and pictures of beautiful girls. The way they operate is that they show themselves in the telegram chat of whatever coin you are into. They don’t directly private message you, but they say something to call your attention or somebody else’s attention to start a conversation and eventually take the conversation private.

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold?? on: August 31, 2018, 11:57:01 AM
After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.
i am totally agree with you opinion, because it will be very hard to compare a digital to we all know has existence.

14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: August 30, 2018, 11:32:09 AM
I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

if its your definition or meaning of the goal of bitcoin then yes, bitcoin prove more than a lot, we use the ease of bitcoin to wires some money to our too far relatives we can transfer asap like remittance center .
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme on: August 29, 2018, 10:44:00 AM
Anyone can call it ponzi scheme and fraud but if you think of it, everything worldly is fraud. You buy apple products with thousands of dollars but how much are they really worth? Why would people give out thousands of dollars for a macbook when they can buy a laptop for $300? Is it really worth that much or is it just another ponzi scheme that apple is bringing to the world better gadgets than any other brands? So we're talking about bitcoin now. What are we really paying for when we buy bitcoin? We pay for an online program and the people running the program helping transactions go through, or we call mining. Miners put in so much time and most especially the cost of mining is so much. That is merely the reason why bitcoin will cost much and if incase it will dive too low and will not be enough to pay for miners, then that could be the time bitcoin will die, or not.
well we all know that is not true we earn we invest, it will depends on how we see the meaning of bitcoin and existing of bitcoin, we dont care what everybody tell negative about bitcoin.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin isn't a legit currency. on: August 29, 2018, 09:06:30 AM
why are you sating that? bitcoin was legit but it depends on the people who thought that bitcoin is not a scam and a ponzi scheme only.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin road to $ 14,000 returns on: August 28, 2018, 12:48:14 PM
do you think this can continue to rise towards recovering people who bought at a price of $ 14,000 at the beginning of last year?

I wonder how many of the people who bought at $14,000 are still holding. I would wager the majority of them have panic sold a long time ago, either never to be seen in crypto again, or to again stupidly FOMO on the way up.
i would not buy in the price like that huge too much risk we all now that there are many panic seller so i will wait that the panic seller win and the bitcoin goes down and buy it and wait again until the price hike.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do with scammers on: August 28, 2018, 12:32:57 PM

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is dangerous.... on: August 27, 2018, 06:12:07 AM
there is a lot way to earn in crypto not only in investing you can do job and your payment is token then trade it to bitcoin.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: August 27, 2018, 05:16:56 AM
I seen lots of people are panic and selling and spreading FUD . But based on my experience people who really dare to take risk only won here .
Wise and daring investors are still searching for good potential coins to invest while its really cheap were greedy people are panic and spreading FUD
Finally people who dare to invest bitcoin even when the price of 100$ they created fortune here . Its completely daring and vision not at aall luck . SO if you are having real vision and want to make milestone in life then be here in crypto and support other wise please quit .
yes i agree with you a coward can earn but not enough, if you risk you have a chance to earn bigger than what you invested.
