still no reply from bitvps.

So is there anyone who has a linux server. I could setup a node there and get catedoge running again?

Depends how much work it is and how much bandwidth you need i could provide you with a node.

it wont require much power. but depends who even wants to have this coin running anymore? seemingly no one other than me.

If it's not that much (computer) power i could run a VM with linux. I've got a TS server on there as well. PM me with what i'd need to do to help you out.

Update is coming soon to fix heartbleed bug with openssl.

Better get this coin marketed. It's going nowhere now.

because bitcoins down and most altcoins are down. those already being traded do have volumes. but releasing new in these days is not a good idea at all. unless a country named coin
I am mining and holding, betting against fiduciary money which is doomed.

its possible that you have permission problems

Try running as administrator, and if you're not gonna mine solo, you can try removing "server=1" from the conf.

Tried to run as administrator - does not work. Differently tried the result is the same. On the laptop will not start too.

ok, use rpcuser=abc
rpcpassword=DKl20DKowiDMSJKLOiwieoUI302HJI30Kjoiw

example. Use this. Then update, if it worked?

Thanks, it works. But only on the laptop.
Nevertheless, thank you all.

Good that you got it to work. just copy the file from laptop to pc. It should work.

Awais, how much of the premine did you use to restore lost balance? I'm up to 30 mil CTD now. I can drop some back and/or put more into the give-away if you want me to.

Edit: 32 Mil.

I have given away 20000000 coins in total. to 2 pool owners.

Should fix the pain a bit Smiley

My wallet is not synchronized! What to do Huh Please help!

you're on windows?
Make sure you're on CateDoge v1.3

run the qt wallet.
Close the qt wallet.
type %appdata% in run and hit enter.
Go to CateDoge folder.

make a conf file called catedoge.conf. Make sure its .conf not .txt

paste this in the file:

Code:
listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=suchdoge
rpcpassword=muchcate
rpcport=5708
p2pport=5707
addnode=64.90.187.147
addnode=64.90.187.195
addnode=217.122.94.80
addnode=148.251.15.235
addnode=67.1.106.66

You should connect now

Did everything as written several times. Wallet is not synchronized.

Had the same issue.

Remove all the nodes. only add this one:
addnode=64.90.187.147

let it sync. When it's done, add this one:
addnode=54.208.127.165

Still synced. There's a filthy node in there, don't know which.

Oh, remove ALL the datafiles except your wallet, of course, before you do this.

Awais, you've got some CTD back at ya Smiley

wow  Shocked thanks, but why did you send me back? just curious  Cool

Support the coin. See if we can get this back up in the air. Smiley

By the way, let me know when you have the give-away address set up. I'll vouch for 1.000.000 CTD.

We should talk about setting a standard minimum sell satoshi on this coin for when it hits an exchange. I think 10 satoshi is reasonable.... Please lend your thoughts and opinions on this subject.

10? That's nothing. More like 100 or 1000. You'll be mining them as quick as hell..

ctd.pool.mn still has not updated their daemon. please do it before block 6000. Also everyone download the v1.3 from the first thread. And it will fix all issues. thanks

What are you changing at the hardfork? Because changing or hardforking might need to lead to adjusting the p2pool, if it's gonna work. Or i'll wait UNTILL the hardfork..

If you didn't notice. Aurcoin was killed by people on btctalk because it also had kgw. Which has a vulnerability where someone change the difficulty during the blocks. (this is how I think it is). So every coin had to patch to time warp. Hard fork is at block 6000. its mandatory.

Well, to be fair, AUR is still going strong and nothing has happened (yet), of which i know with an exploit...

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CTD] [SHA-3] CateDoge! many fast! 2 min transaction confirm! Plz dig on: April 07, 2014, 07:35:02 AM
Solo mining does not work,
is there working version of cgminer

Quote from: opossum
solo mining not possible with these versions
https://github.com/Eropi4/cgminer_keccak/releases

First of all, on OP these links are given:
Source: https://github.com/reorder/cgminer_keccak
Windows: https://mega.co.nz/#!mBQWGQwB!9iTf1P5rxYLC_kY-c5BVNsC0kCp-raTVHBhafg_lqdM

Solo mining works, as someone even found first 60mi block with these versions.
On your picture I can see ver. of cgminer 3.6.6, working version is 3.7.3.
Also from picture I can see the port 9088, but port for CateDoge QT rpcport=5108.
So you are doing it definitely wrong. Smiley

Does solo work for you?

1. You're using an outdated cgminer. Step up to 3.7.3 which apparently works.
2. Use the right ports. It will never work if you keep using that wrong port..

What happened to coins on hardcoreminers? All coins stuck in "Unconfirmed" for more than 4h... Sad

Running again now.

You realised the percentages on the Dash are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off right?

Anybody here with P2Pool experience? Trying to set on up, but keep getting stranded when trying to run p2pool

Happy to helped out on this one.

Glad to switch as soon as there are some exchanges available ( i've got bills to pay you know ;-) ). So, make that happen! Preferably Mintpal and/or Cryptsy!

Edit P.S:
Would there be any interest in having a P2Pool when exchanges are available?

Any news on exchanges? Smiley

Did you make any btc transactions yourself near the time (within a couple of days) of these transactions?

Yes i did, but 4 days before, the 27th, was my last (own) transaction (outwards), since then only receiving, untill that moment on the 31st, which i wasn't..

So the money is on this adress: 1FmMasfuEE6wtpzdWiVnDynfJ5tyyVbhP3
and there is "only" 0.56 BTC. That does not sound like a hacker to me. They would have moved the money and switched adresses several times. Do you have backups of your wallet(s)?
I wish i had a backup, but i dont..

Im guessing your pc is infected. Maybe d virus created the Tx on your pc using ur address as change.

I have no idea what could've happened on this one, except that my pc is as clean as a whistle. Hitman Pro found nothing, Avira found nothing, Spybot found nothing. So.. i don't know.

I doubt you will be able to get it back, bitcoin is a one-way payment system and it can't be sent back without acceptance of the other person.

You're right.

Respons from blockchain.info:
I am sorry to hear of these transactions that you did not initiate. You may have some type of malware on your computer that resulted in your funds being stolen, because your private information was somehow obtained. There's also the possibility that you visited a phishing site posing as blockchain.info. By design, Blockchain.info never has access to users' accounts or bitcoins. If you keep your password and private key backups secure, then your bitcoins are safe with blockchain.info. There is also no way to reverse a bitcoin transaction. In the future, to ensure your account is protected with an extra layer of security, always enable two factor authentication. I would also highly advise against ever using this compromised wallet again, as someone else clearly has the private keys in it. I wish more could be done to get your funds back to you, but the nature of bitcoin makes it nearly impossible.
