Hardcoreminers are mining away: Current Block 81060. WTF?

Don't understand how node system works: if there are i.e. 10 QT running- so they can connect to each others coin network should work. And I don't get - how our QTs can't connect with hardcoreminers, that are online and mining?.. Or I don't understand how node network works?

No, actually, hardcoreminers has it's own node running. where all the miners are mining. Somehow those who are mining there probably have a peers.dat file that contains the hardcoreminer's node. So those with that node will be able to sync. We would need one node to sync our nodes.

Could they share their peer.dat?

they would only need to provide us "addnode=xxxxx". But for security purposes. he cannot do that.

For security purposes? They are on block 86740. So if this coin is going to stay and new nodes will launch, what will happen with blocks they have mined? As I understand, they have enough notes to confirm mined coins - tried to mine a bit - coins are confirmed and send!..
So if they will have less nodes than new nodes, they blocks will be orphaned? Or not?

I wish I knew that before reformating my HDD, I only backed up wallet.dat

When there is only 1 node. Confirms are made through simply 1 node.
If I setup a node. I will need another node to sync my own node.

Hardcoreminers cannot tell their node because that would breach their security. They could possibly get ddosed or hacked. That is all I know about their servers. I don't know much.

Alright folks here's the deal.  If this isn't fixed very soon I will have to remove CTD from CryptoALTeX and I have no way to get your coins out.  I still have 0 connections.  I don't want to shut it down without allowing people to withdraw but if there are no connections/blocks moving I am stuck with the coins.

Guess so, not sure what they plan to do with the coins but if I don't get any connections within the next two days I will be permanently removing the coin from CryptoALTeX.  It's ridiculous to go over 24 hours without an answer and a completely broken network

i bought vps from bitvps. they have several issues on it. cant install a thing like libbooost dev.

now i am just sitting here waiting for them to fix it. its been more than 48 hours and still no reply. 

idk if cryptoaltex is removed it or not yet.
but it could be great if someone could temm me the official thread of bitvps here? wanted to resurrect catedoge

If you get the ability to get connections I will get CryptoALTeX connected but I will only process withdraws for this coin.  We will be removing this coin as forum thread activity/community etc seems to be almost completely dead.  I will definitely get people their coins if someone gets the network up.

I am working on writing a policy however the jist of it is, unless there is a huge push like whitecoin and asiacoin for a community takeover, coins with developers that have gone awol will be delisted.  I can't keep supporting coins that cause me to have to answer tickets due to the network not working, etc.  It gets tiresome to say, "well there are no network connections of course your coins aren't being credited" etc.

awais3344: today not only working node will be needed to resurrect the coin. Coin needs a good idea, some usage for the coin. At that coin supply that was in the end and no usage for it and the price of 1 satoshi can kill it again.

Seems like no nodes are up , can't send coins out , it will be removed from exchnage , website down..

I would be happy if this coin will be resurrected, on hardoreminers there are 8-9 miners running - i think they will be happy too.
Another thing is that one person can't make everything for the coin. Coin needs not only technical support. It needs publicity and promotion. It needs to be usable somewhere - not only coin for exchanges if we want it to success.

Also I was writing before - positioned price for 1 satoshi will kill the coin again. With hashing power that big miners have these days, coin supply is too big - they have profit selling their coins even at 1 satoshi. But that low price doesn't let any regulation - as there is no place for dropping the price if there is no buyers. And that kills the coin. So something has to be done to reduce coin supply. Maybe reducing block reward, because increasing of block target time would mean increasing time of transaction.

So, it would be great to make this coin alive again. But some additional steps should be made to keep it alive after resurrection. It would be great to have bigger dev team. Unfortunately, I can't help much, as I have lots of other activities on my main job and private business. But if someone could help dev with promotion, maybe some games for the coin and other stuff - CateDogeCoin could be successful project!..

the coin died because of the huge sells in the first day, everyone sold it at the first second and there was no one to buy anymore. maybe we could move to ltc market to remove that 1 satoshi price which is profitable for people.

So it would be great to have a plan and follow that plan. There always will be some dumpers, that sells their coins at any price. Personally I haven't sell any of CateDoge's I've mined. It was not the time for selling. But not all people understand that. So there must be some regulation of that.
