1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: February 18, 2024, 10:52:20 PM
For example, you can't prove a transaction really compared to normal coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
You can, see How to prove you've made a payment. But maybe you mean that you can't prove "someone" made a transaction if this "someone" is not you (or doesn't provide you the tx key), and in this case you're probably correct.

However: is this enough to make it "more difficult" to use? Who would need to prove that someone made a payment, if he's neither the sender nor the receiver?
Sending and receiving coins with XMR is as easy as with all other coins (although the addresses are quite long, but that doesn't make much of a difference for me).

In addition, Monero is a DarkNet coin and we can suffer from crime and scam more easily because also Monero is also more difficult compared to normal coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
I don't see how. In general I think coins like Ethereum with all the possibilities turing-complete smart contracts provide are much more prone to scams. On Ethereum those selling you a token can even freeze it at all times and you won't be able to sell or use it anymore. You can of course check the Solidity code, but how many people do that?
I don't know really much about Monero.
Very early, I tried to collect some Monero Coins for free from a faucet, where I have created a Monero address but it did not work and I did no additional research after it.
It just seemed way to difficult for when I tried to find out.

And it turned out sticking to Bitcoin was more profitable because when I've tried to collect Monero coins, a Monero Coin was at 120 USD and a Bitcoin was at 10k USD and today, a Monero Coin is still at 120 USD but a Bitcoin is at 50k USD.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About PI Network trend. Is this coin worth holding? on: February 18, 2024, 08:42:51 PM
PI Network is a big fraud coin.
It does not offer any value and is just outright fraud, covered by a marketing facade.
PI Network is even requiring KYC, where your identities data has a high risk to get leaked into DarkNet dealer stores.

It is highly recommended to stay away from PI Network and warn everyone to stay away from it as well.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON is bad coin, here is why on: February 18, 2024, 08:39:44 PM
Maybe you know already: we have good coin and we have bad coin. While Bitcoin is very good coin, TRON is bad coin and here is why:

- TRON didn't achieve any additional technological advance compared to existing coin
- TRON is only launched because Justin Sun hates Vitalik Buterin and Ethereum
- Justin Sun failed to compete against Ethereum. Ethereum is much better, has much better technology and better developers
- Justin Sun just SHILLS his shitcoin TRON instead of implementing a better technology

Everyone should know, how fraudulent TRON really is.
Avoid bad coin like TRON.
You are right.
TRON, Justin Sun's coin, massively failed when attempting to overtake Ethereum and now, Justin Sun is a big crybaby who is just trying to put a marketing and relentless shill facade around of TRON to  make more people buy his fraudulent shit coin.
It is partially embarassing how many people on Bitcointalk are brainwashed to come out in support of Justin Sun and his fraud coin TRON.

You made a good job to expose TRON, a fraudulent shit coin.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: February 18, 2024, 08:26:13 PM
Privacy is a necessary feature in my opinion, but why hasn't Monero become a main coin?
Monero has a big disadvantage because it's very difficult technology and for normal people, it is very difficult to understand and send funds because Monero can't be seen if we don't own it directly? I don't know much about Monero but have created an address once and it's really difficult to understand compared to normal coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
For example, you can't prove a transaction really compared to normal coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Because if we don't own it, we can see it like on Blockchair or Etherscan because Monero is not public.

Monero is victim of it's own privacy.
In addition, Monero is a DarkNet coin and we can suffer from crime and scam more easily because also Monero is also more difficult compared to normal coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Monero is quite an exotic coin.
5  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress ' Merit Source Application 🚩 on: February 18, 2024, 08:16:07 PM
Last time I checked merit records are public - so what exactly is the issue here? If a merit source were to "abuse" their power it won't take long until the community calls them out for it. Besides that, what's the worst a campaign manager could do by being a merit source? Rank up business accounts for their clients? lol.

I'm also quite confident that any manager here on average read and see more posts than any other user.

It isn't really exclusive to campaign managers but if you've been watching what's going on here over the last few years you'd see that some people took their merit source status and used it to get their subordinates or people who agree with their politics into the default trust network.  They then use their influence to have those who don't agree with their opinions excluded.  This has led to the default trust network becoming nearly useless for real world activity and actually trusting people on this forum with money as I believe it was meant for.
It's about time, Vod publishes his website presenting your fraud and it will get revealed to everyone.

From all Merit distribution of icopress we can only conclude he will be a good Merit source.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Remove Proxyban (evil fees) - email to get whitelisted for free on: January 28, 2024, 03:40:56 PM

Good day, dear Sir,

I got a request if I can vouch for someone because we know us from Avalanche:

Quote
Hello, bro

We wanted to apply for Bitcointalk but maybe you can see it our Account got banned because it's evil: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3606323
We are not evil, you know us from Avalanche.
It says we can apply for a review and convince a moderator of Bitcointalk to get our ban removed. I have written a mail but no reply for now. We need to act quickly for new task and I just wanted to publish content, as you know.
It also says we can find people to vouch for someone and ask a moderator.
Can you vouch for our Account to get eligible?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5350260.0

Maybe Bitcointalk moderator will accept our plead if you are in support of it, too
We are in dire need for your help, bro

I have replied I can vouch because techn_AnalyseMuenzen is reliable and known for writing a detailed text all around.
I can vouch and I'm convinced techn_AnalyseMuenzen deserves to get whitelisted.
7  Economy / Reputation / Re: Achieving a milestone is something of mind on: November 30, 2023, 11:58:20 PM
I stand in this precious time to congratulate myself for achieving my first milestone despite that theirs many milestones to achieve but at least I have counted 1 and others shall be achieve later

It is said that in a journey the hardest step to make is the first step of the journey and now you have taken the first step which makes the other steps ahead a bit easy for you to achieve. Obstacles are a stepping stone it depends on how we react to it, the result we get when we respond to an obstacle on our journey is a pure reflection of how we response to that obstacle (the ailment and loss of phone). Congrats see you on your next prospective ranking.
Very true.
Finding enough motivation to start is a very difficult task but for every step, we take after, it's starting to get easier, we just need to make a decision to start.
Like you've said, we might experience some difficulties but solving all of these will just make us more experienced and we'll be able to master more difficult challenges.
Keep reading, keep educating, keep listening to advice.  Smiley
8  Economy / Reputation / Re: Announce your rank up, merit or any achievements that makes you feel great! on: November 30, 2023, 11:53:36 PM
I'm also posting here to celebrate my 6 years of existence in this forum and also for ranking up to Legendary (which actually happened months ago, just celebrating it late.  Tongue )
Congratulations, manager! Nice to see your achievement! All the best for your management service as well and hopefully, we'll see you again providing a new campaign for Bitcointalk community, soon!
Your knowledge, your service for everyone here and of course yourself is truly appreciated!

This is a wrong way to create a Trust flag. You have used the culprit's topic as a reference, which can be deleted or modified anytime. Instead, make a scam accusation and then use its link to create a flag.
Archive link will work as well because it can't be modified or deleted, Sir?
If yes, I will try to modify and come back.
11  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bounty Manager isn't accountable. on: November 27, 2023, 11:02:52 PM
When you hire a bounty manager on wish...

Bitcointalk is known for so many experienced bounty managers. Saving money by hiring a cheap bounty manager will hurt us, long-term.
A good bounty manager will know about any issues and be able to find a good solution.
It will save everyone money after all.

15  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: August 16, 2023, 08:39:22 PM
Same here.
Site is down and we are waiting for official announcement from team. It was expected to get an announcement today because Hhampuz has talked to someone.
But whirlwind money devs did not reply here so far.
We are still waiting for official announcement and site to be fixed.

The problem is different from mine. The main problem is withdrawal delay. But I am unable to open the site. If they are not able to open the site then how they will withdraw their fund? And I do not think they have too many visitors which will occur this type of problem.

As you are facing the same issue then it might be the problem of the site.
Yes, Sir!
You are right, whirlwind website is not accessible.

Does not work for me, say's can't be reached. I'll wait for official announcement.
Let's hope for fast reply, bros

I assume you know you need a Tor browser for .onion sites? You cannot access them using a "normal" browser.

Wow, very sad. I will wait for announcement from dev.
16  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Whirlwind.money - withdrawals are not being processed ⚠️ on: August 16, 2023, 08:31:40 PM
I have read, Sir
It's still not work today and I will just wait for more official announcement.
You haven't read anything, because if you had, you would know that the unavailability of the Whirlwind website is not the main problem.
You are wrong, Sir
I have read it and I have understand it and whirlwind is very problem prone. Many people have yet to receive coins, many can't reach website and many are waiting for official announcement from dev.

Read again, Sir.
I don't need to read again, because I've already read, Sir

We will receive coins back if whirlwind money has given a guarantee on it?
How will it work, Sir?

The problem with the clearnet whirlwind page has been going on for over a month now, and considering your insistence on it, I'm pretty sure you've never used Whirlwind, at least not in the last month.
You are wrong again, Sir
Website was up in June and people could make a deposit.

Why do you act as a victim in this case?
Because we deserve to access our coin rightfully, Sir

Why do you say "We"?
Because many people are are customer, Sir.

Yes
It really looks like exit scam.
Site is not accessible anymore: http://whirlwind.money/
Really sad news but I've called it earlier when I've sait it's just a matter of time:

Quote
Issue is many services are shady. It's only a question of time until we see an exit scam again or fraud operator like ChipMixer.

It would be better if you don't write anything,
It's not your business what I write here, Sir.
Everyone can write post here.

than you appear completely ignorant about what happened with CM and what is happening specifically in this case. It is hard to even imagine that you think that CM carried out an exit scam, unless you think that some three letter agencies helped them in this by seizing their domains and servers Shocked
CM clearly breaking internal promise to customer, where CM claimed to delete private data after 7 day.
But we all know, data was not deleted by CM and many private key chips were swept at CM downfall way after 7 days were over after people have been customer at CM.
CM clearly violated promise and has not deleted private key data.
And we still owe many questions from CM, no CM representative showed up, even not from different account. Can be proven easily by signing a CM Bitcoin public key.
Quit defending CM just because it paid you handsome BTC.

Now, whirlwind really needs to solve issue, Website is still not accessible: http://whirlwind.money/

I am trying to withdraw funds for several weeks. But when I try to open the site it shows to me like the mentioned images. I think it is happening only to me as I could not find out any post like this.

Same here.

I got an email back from whirlwind just now and it was as I suspected - something happened.

Basically, main people lost access due to travels while people still with access didn't have the right credentials to solve basic issues that caused withdraws to get stuck on the back-end. I've been assured that nothing has been lost and that all will be taken care of tomorrow meaning all currently pending withdraws will be processed and things return back to normal. It was an unfortunate situation is all!

I've asked my contact at whirlwind to reply in this thread whenever they can with further details, so from now until then/tomorrow night there is no need to panic even if I wouldn't recommend you to deposit until the backlog is cleared. Campaign participants will also be paid out as per usual tomorrow, regardless of if you've removed your signature or not.

Yes
It really looks like exit scam.
Site is not accessible anymore: http://whirlwind.money/
Really sad news but I've called it earlier when I've sait it's just a matter of time:
What is the matter with you. Do you take time to read?
Several members says the clearnet has been off for a while but the onion site was functional until recently.
I have read, Sir
It's still not work today and I will just wait for more official announcement.

I've got all the evidence, and I sent it to them privately because I didn't want to put it out in the open just yet. I've got my note's public address, the Letter of Guarantee, the TXID for my deposit, and I can even sign the address I used to deposit if they want. Of course, I don't know how to prove that I didn't get anything back since they haven't made any transaction from their end.

We will receive coins back if whirlwind money has given a guarantee on it?
How will it work, Sir?

It's not like private key isn't it?
Only for private key, coins is really our coin.

shasan just reported it doesn't work for him as well:

What is .onion, it's DarkNet, isn' it, Sir? I'm not member at DarkNet. When will whirlwind normal link work normal again, Sir?
What is the purpose of you mixing Bitcoins if you can't use the Tor Mirror?  Roll Eyes
I don't understand your question, Sir.
But I have VPN in my Opera Browser, it's good for privacy, Sir.

Here is how your efforts to attain privacy look like. Total waste of time and money, all for nothing.

It's not waste, Sir.
I have only deposit via VPN and delete cookie.
But DarkNet has many shade.

Can't access Website right now.  Cry

The clearnet is currently under DDOS attack you can use the Tor version I just tried today and it works fine with me.

If you don't know how to access it download a Tor browser and paste the whirlwind Tor link there.
Hello, Sir
Where is Tor link?
I can also just wait for normal website to be fixed again for normal procedure.
