1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto and platform do you invest in in June??? on: June 19, 2021, 09:34:01 AM
What are the advantages of the token mentioned above?  I’m uptight about new projects, but I’m planning to invest anyway.

A winning advantage is blockchain technology, as well as stable operation since the appearance of  Pumpy.farm token. Capitalization of individual investments isn’t that big, but the results of long-term investments are good. The demand for the coin increases and is expected to grow even bigger soon.

DeFi projects gain popularity because even if token price reduces, it doesn’t mean you bear losses. These tokens are more persistent, they are more suitable for staking. I would highlight UNI, DAI, ZRX.

How does the platform work? I want to try it out, too.

It reinvests your funds automatically at proper time to increase profit from mining. Also, the platform has its own tokens that you can buy. They are expected to grow high.

The idea is interesting. I’ll try to test it with some part of my assets. But I doubt I would buy the tokens.

Now, I consider BNB and ETH for investing more seriously. Altcoins look promising for investing when the market drops. Now, they are the TOP-3 coins on CMC, that’s why I’ll definitely invest.

The current market conditions won’t get worse, but I still would prefer to buy more stable coins and get rid of other ones. I’d like to highlight the algorithm that helps to optimize profit - Pumpy.farm. I managed to optimize profitability by several percents. In the long-term run, they will matter.

How does the platform work? I want to try it out, too.

But any coin, even the one created just for fun can grow. Now, it seems to me that it makes sense to consider only major coins, as you said. We should look only for those ones that have potential for recovery. It doesn’t seem to me that BTC will recover soon.

I’ve found this platform. It allows to optimize profitability with the help of Defi. It reinvests your income in optimal options at proper time. It makes sense to try it out. As for the coins, it makes sense to choose several promising ones and invest in them.

Thx i will check this

I’m planning to start investing in ETH. What do you think about it? Will its price recover or not?

I believe that investing is a good idea, but it’s better to buy BTC and its altcoins. They won’t give up that easily, they’ll grow again. Bear trend will end sooner or later, that’s why the coins are expected to grow.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Education, the future of learning? on: April 14, 2021, 04:43:02 AM
I heard about a lot of platforms like www.education-ecosystem.com , do they have future? It seems to me that online schools don’t really need blockchain.

Blockchain is a new technology that can be used in many ways. Online schools aren’t an exception. Decentralized systems ensure better safety. The cost of education grows constantly, that’s why it’s important to ensure safety for accounts. Scammers often steal them, it’s a problem for students.

You can ensure safety by using a more complex password. It’s not that hard to remember it and you shouldn’t tell anyone about it. You can use your phone number, too, if so, it’ll be hard to access your account.

Nowadays, it’s easy to bypass most of safety systems. Scammers know many ways to do it.

I agree with all of you. But when it comes to the use of blockchain in online schools, cryptocurrency can help to organize a reward system. Content creators can make money – it’s very relevant during the pandemic because many people had to switch to working from home. This is the main positive aspect, in addition to safety, of course.

If it’s local, where are the keys stored?

They are stored in a cloud storage created for every new user.

Thank you very much guys, but I have more questions now. I’ve just started studying the project, that’s why I have so many questions. What is SSV needed for? Why not to use the technologies everyone is used to?

SSV is better for ETH architecture and it also allows to create validator keys safely. Other technologies can’t ensure similar stability and safety level.

How do they ensure high level of safety?

You use the platform to fully control all validators. This is a local app, that’s why the safety level is very high.

I have a couple of questions regarding the system. How to pay for a validator? How many ETH do I need to have for withdrawal?

You pay for a validator when setting it up. You’ll see a form and fill out the data. The validator will be activated once payment is made.

Safety isn’t the only thing that makes it useful. The other thing is the opportunities you access due to using cryptocurrency. You can use it to pay for training or to reward teachers, you can convert it to real money  and so on. This makes such platforms as www.education-ecosystem.com popular.

I noticed that their level increased significantly with time, too. I even took some design courses ( https://www.education-ecosystem.com/milewski/2bLjY-concept-design-action-website-from-scratch )

Content creators do a great job, that’s why they get money. Many teachers who got fired switch to online education, that’s why the quality of many courses is high.
We can consider blockchain as a quite new technology. Teachers can experience difficulties with it. It’s easier for them to use platforms without blockchain.

I agree, but if the things keep going on like that, nothing will change in the blockchain area. Change is always hard. Also, LEDU pays teachers for their work.

I also had problems during the pandemic, that’s why I often check the quality of the courses and get cryptocurrency for that. Controlling the content is one more way to make money in addition to creating it. This makes platforms like LEDU even more useful.

Will I have complete control over the system?

Yes, the company is only responsible for technical aspects.

You will have to confirm every action because the company isn’t responsible for them. For example, only a client can confirm the validator’s request in his or her own account.

What makes blockchain useful for online education?
Blockchain ensures safety. This aspect is important because not all people can afford online training. Many can’t create a new account to continue training if their accounts are hacked.

I believe it’s absolutely useless. Modern schools ensure a decent level of safety. You can also use 2FA and forget about problems.

Are there any risks if you bet on your own?

They say it’ll take more time to get connected because of constant safety assessment. Also, a validator can easily be hacked.

A decentralized system is much better. The data isn’t stored in one place as it is in case of centralized systems. It’s a different level of safety. No one can control all the system, intercept file transfers or disrupt a validator.

If they get control over an entire system, the currency is lost.

What can I do with CDT if I still have any?

Everyone who has these tokens can use them to manage the network – make important decisions and so on.

Then it turns out that every holder will become a part of a decentralized system. It’s much safer.

Many people prefer online education now. What do you think about it? Which online platform is better and more promising?

Yes, offline education had a hard time during the pandemic. Many switched to distance learning. Schools and universities prohibited attendance. It took the education system some time to get in order, and it turned out that online learning is no less effective than offline learning. I think that our future lies with the first option.
