And is your router connected to the internet provider router on the normal internet port connection or did you connect it like a switch? My internet provider router is in the .0 range and it is connected like a switch so i can reach the miner in the .0 range... i only have to change the ip first when i put new firmware on because its standard in de .1 range. Did you try to reboot your routers and after that the power of the miner for 5 minutes and retry?

Yes, its connected to a second router and the IP is 192.168.1.49

Are you in the .1 network? 192.168.1.0?

Has any1 came across a problem with Dayun Zig Z1+ where a massage "An Internal Server Error Occurred" on their browser when trying to connect to the miner?
At first when I got connected to  the miner the interface got changed slightly, and it worked like that for week or two.

At this moment I can see the miner on my router, and also it appears active on Nice Hash.
No changes were maid on the miner or the router prior this.
I'm using latest Chrome browser, and the router is https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTN12Plus/.

I did try to reset Chrome's settings, cookies etc...still the same   Huh Huh

Any suggestions and help will be greatly appreciated

indeed... and i payed 6k :/ what a first experience with an asic... if only @zigminer could close his farm or lets say his factory with 200000000 z1's we could have a bit more profit as the difficulty could low a bit... :/ what will haooen when vertcoin leaves the algo? the Z1 ready for the trash dump?Huh

Almost everbody knows asicminervalue.com
this website shows that DAYUN ZIG z1 14.50 USD (incl. electricity) 10.89 USD (excluding electricity)
it is completely wrong. i warned them many times. they did not change. actual earning is around 8 usd. they show at least 35 percent more.
i think they are getting money from dayun zig miner resellers to sell more. would you please write to asicminevalue.com that is WRONG calculation or attitude.
you already know right calc. or you can see true calculation their https://cryptominer.deals/product/dayun-zig-z1
Hi

Hundred percent right and dayun zig miner Thief company

You got a Z1 miner, didnt you?
Its hashing, isnīt it?
Dont think Dayun stated somewhere: Guaranteed profits for next 12 months.

Dont buy asics people  Roll Eyes

No asics has dropped its profit by 800% in a month its true that it has not been guaranteed but we have lost our money  i dont know why u are defending it

xsnub wont work, it is xnsub? but anyway, like i said above, allready tried xnsub and in my case it gets way MORE rejects...

remove xnsub.. in my case that removed the rejects Smiley

wich pool, xnsub on?

I am getting between 10% and 17% rejects on nicehash. Is there anything I can do to reduce that?

Latest fw 1116, nicehash. xnsub on.

Hi, with blockmasters i do not have xnub (stratum+tcp://eu.blockmasters.co:4533) but a lot of rejections.

 should I add xsnub to get               (stratum+tcp://eu.blockmasters.co:4533#xsnub)

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: November 29, 2018, 11:37:29 AM
xsnub? xnsub... when i add xnsub i get lots of MORE rejects

Anyone has a better profit other than nicehash ? I tried big pools , lots of coins but never reached nicehash. Pools has a lot of rejects. Please suggest me a pool
I suggest guys who have damn zig z1 or zig z1+ to connect to Blockmasters pool.
I compared many days my earning with blockmasters and  nicehash.
Nowadays the earning has realy decreased in nicehash and other pools. So I desided to change the pool and test different ones.
I got the best result in blockmastes. You can also check in pool mining calculator sites.
In blockmastets I tried European server:

stratum+tcp://eu.blockmasters.co:4533
Yor wallet address as USER NAME
C=BTC  as pass

You can also check the earning of different pools here:
https://minerstat.com/mining-calculator

I hope I could help guys

I have 30%-40% reject hash permanently with Blockmasters. Do you have the same?

Yes I Have the same percent rejected Hash in the pool. but in z1 dashboard it is 2.44% rejects.
pool rejects is more important.

We are seeing the same rejects for all of these miners on our site.  Looking into the forum it looks like this is a common occurance with these miners.  Keep in mind the rejects are the miner passing bad data to the pool stratum.  Keep in mind the hashrate reported on the site is the hash the site is accepting.  The rejects are jobs that were not accepted, and that hash is already subtracted from the hashrate on the site.  So if you are seeing 6GH on the site with 35% rejects, the site is ACCEPTING 6GH from the miner.

Let us know if there is anything we can do!

Thank you for your information

Dear friend in Blockmasters
Hi,
Is it necessary to add #xnub like this:  (stratum+tcp://eu.blockmasters.co:4533#xsnub) to decrease the rejects or just let it mine without #xsnub ?
Other friends seems like to have the same question.

pools can hide the rejects... 😁

I only get 3-4% rejects over a period of over 5 days.
I'm mining on nicehash with firmware 20181116

Here a printscreen: https://imgur.com/a/1j28zAm

I get 30-40-50 procent rejects ?!? How many do you got? Can we do something about this

Well my rejectes hashrate is like that too. If you have normal frequency  in your chips then it is related to some other factors like stable internet ping and speed connection, bandwidth and also the pool itself, in some pools you may have lower recected hashrates. As you know the distance between you and the pool server location is also important.

Look at the a9 zmaster... since june and earns more then this z1... you cant see it white/black... they oversold it and hashrate of lyra2rev2 still rises every day... so this is doomed to be a big fail ! Its true the profitability lowers from time to time but not in this fast way for a miner that costs a kidney and is not stable

Reading through this chat makes me think.

Are people investing the first time in ASICīs?
Do they even know what an ASIC is?
Do they know why the profits are dropping and that the manufacturer canīt do jack shit about it?
Dontīt they know that the company is the only guys which are earning something on those things if they sell them for 4000-7500 + never stop selling them?
Do people just look at the first Profit calculation and go all in before doing any research at all?

It is a bitmain power supply...
Second thing is everyone has fails with 0930 firmware but it is the only one that hashes more then 6.5 for a z1...
Why does my miner work with 0926 1029 0511 and last firmware without fails with that psu?

@zigminer, i want to run 3009 firmware but why is it sooooo buggy? it works like 15-20 hours good and suddenly out of the blue a hashboard doesnt work anymore, yellow red asics, or a half hashboard is black. Sometimes you have to restart 5 times or more... BUT it is the only firmware that hashes 6.5 ghz for my z1 instead of 6... I am not awake 24/24 to monitor this.... i loose more money on the not or half working miner if this happens over night then install a new firmware that is less or more a bit stable. at least for a day ... Why is there only 1 firmware that hashes more ? Why is it soooooo buggy?

Try to replace your power supply
Many agents privately send some poorly performing power supplies.
We also found instability after our own tests.

You can see this from 2 sides... there are miners that have more or less for months stable profit... the problem is they just sold 200 boats of this miner... if hdac didnt fork and btc didnt decrease because of bch fork this could be a good deal but now were in a crappy position .... if this thing was stable and working for me in the start ... i had tons of issues getting this thing to work , once i managed to keep it online the profit was half after a few days

This is normal, and is not the responsibility of the manufacturer to resolve. You purchased this device with the understanding that it was not exclusive to you and that network hashrate increasing means profit decreasing. If you were not aware of this, then that is your own fault. The situation is the same and always has been the same, since the earliest days of mining - additional miners will share the profits, they do not create extra profits out of thin air.

Wich version of 0930 did you use to put on 1000mhz? Stable that you edit or the OC?

New Firmware 20181116 - Overclocking bye bye

How do i know that? Very easy...

I made a lot of tests about OC
You can check it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5038441.msg46842719#msg46842719

Before my miner stopped working (Fan Check Problem - now solved with version 20181116), i was running Firmware 20180930.
Firmware 20189030 was the first version with a working overclocking.

----------------------------------------------
All Firmware before 20180930
@900MHz: ~6GH/s using ~1200W
@1000Mhz: ~6GH/s using ~1200W
You can set the MHz at 1000, it shows 100Mhz on the Mainpage of the miner BUT it does not work.

----------------------------------------------
Firmware 20180930
@900MHz: ~6,5GH/s using ~1200W
@1000Mhz: ~7,1GH/s using ~1400W (Chips ~3-4°C hotter)

Working OC, needing more power and getting a bit hotter...perfect.

----------------------------------------------
Firmware 20181116
@900MHz: ~6GH/s using less then 1200W
@1000Mhz: ~6GH/s using less then 1200W
You can set the MHz at 1000, it shows 100Mhz on the Mainpage of the miner BUT it does not work.

----------------------------------------------

So we are back to square one with the performance of the miner...

Don't get me wrong @Zigminer
I'm happy that you solved my problem with the Fan Check option.
But...yeah, the performance is gone cuz we can't overclock the miner with this firmware.

Edit:
And i have again the problem that at some point the hashrate goes down and i need to restart the miner so many times b4 it's back to normal.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dayun Zig Z1 - Lyra2Rev2 6.8GH/s Asic miner on: November 17, 2018, 02:43:04 PM
Is the 200watt extra worth the 0.6ghz? In some setups this might get temperatures to hot for some ppl...
But what is more interesting is that you claim 0930 software gives you 0.5 ghz for free? Can someone confirm?

For me its always a bit hard to get the usb formatted, but once this hapend and all partitions are gone , stick is clean, i can just write the image with the .exe provided and the miner works? Ow i always have to change the ip from the .1 to the .0 range again... but once that is done im back online Smiley im running the new firmware atm and it works. Strange thing is i cant format my usb with my desktop windows 10 but when i plug it in a old laptop it works... via dos. Cmd diskpart list disk select disk "x" clean.

EDIT: when i try in my desktop the usb apears and disapears again... when i try in an old laptop it stays sometimes 😂 maybe someone can provide me a better solution to clean the usb? Anyway once cleaned write is no issue
Add me to the list of people that cant get 1116 to mount or if it does mount the miner wont work. I have tried downloading image.usb from the passmark site and still have issues V1.4 and v1.3. Have tried multiple usbs and still no luck. I have even tried to remount old stored version i have saved on my pc and they wont mount either. It also appears to always be the same things that fail to verify.

Does a higher freq really gives you a better result anyway?
Are you gonna make a place where we can buy spare parts for this miner when things go wrong?

Dear Zigminer,

You posted screenshots you secretly took during a teamviewer session.

Let me explain why we made modifications to you firmware.
We are a hosting company, hosting a lot of ASIC-Miners.

In order to host more than 1 Miner, we need the miners to have different IP addresses.
This already is the first shortcoming of the Zigminer Firmware.

Every miner will use the same static IP chosen by you. Even after changing it in the webinterface of the miner to DHCP it keeps the same IP.
That is why we began to modify the firmware, so that we can actually use the miners.
We hardcoded the firmware to DHCP.

Then we realized that the method you use to set up a MAC adress was also messy and didnt work well. There even is a firmware version you provide with fixed MAC address. Not very handy.

In the screenshot you provided you can see that our company name was added to the webinterface (https://www.mininghosting.eu). That doesn't change functionaltiy. But it was a good indicator for us and for our clients that the miner is running a repaired version of your firmware.
To disable SSH and therefore remove important monitoring options again makes the zigminer less and less attractive to use.
Compared to other ASICs the Z1 is very unstable, therefore monitoring is key.

I hope you will enable SSH again, so we can use the newest firmware you provide.

@zigminer,

I have 40 zig z1 miners.

In some cases I have the problem that I can reach them but when I log in via ssh I can see via command "top" that the miner the process FPGA_Download is active. When this process is activated, the miner can not start mining.
I searched a lot on the internet for this problem but could not find anything about it that you could find it.

Yesterday I tried the new firmware 1105, this firmware is indeed a bit faster but the layout is the same. Is OK. What I also find very sorry about this version is that they have shielded the SSH and have also created an encrypted partition in the image.

Why is SSH so important to me:
I can then manage and control all miners in my software, like reboot and read out the values, such as hashrate. Because they have a lot of problems with.

The built-in function of the miner does not always work well. That is why I made a script and applied it in the previous Firmware versions so that if the miner stays below the average hashrate within 60 minutes, the miner must restart.

I cannot do that now with the new Firmware 1105. I would like more information about this so I also have access to SSH at Firmware 1105.

I closed the SSH because some vendors had changed their procedures privately, causing mine operations to be unstable.

After the firmware is modified, the frequency can be set to 1000mhz, many user hash boards are burned. For such users, how do we carry out after-sales maintenance?
check this image , freq max 1000mhz

Dont get me wrong, the miner works... but sometimes a week after i reset i dont see it, and other moments its back after a few hours... but the miner always keeps mining... but 1 thing is sure, when the light comes up it doesnt go off anymore until i cut of the power and reboot, when i do that its gone again but it never goes out off itself

Anyone knows what that yellow light "unit err" means on the front of the machine?
check it zig 1 getting ip or not.
if not solve it that get ip first. if you can not solve any how you can reset it with toothpick
