1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Unjust application of the law? on: August 07, 2025, 11:57:30 PM
A corrupt government always enforces its laws harshly on the poor, while the rich can do whatever they want because they can buy off many top people within the government. And that is why many times it is seen that those who actually do illegal things go undetected. Corrupt and corrupt governments don't really want to look after the poor at all because they believe that their main source of power is the rich, who are mostly involved in illegal activities. And since illegal gambling in that country is also run by the corrupt rich, the government here is also silent.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How quickly do you forget a loss on: August 07, 2025, 11:44:00 PM
~~~
I completely agree with you and I think that one of the most obvious indicators that a gambler has become addicted to gambling is that he has constant intrusive thoughts that will probably even prevent him from sleeping at times.
And of course, the same applies to betting. If a bettor has placed a wrong bet and has put a lot of money into it, then of course, he will also worry and constantly think about one thought: "what if I had done it differently?"
Everyone's thinking works the same way in gambling, because there is always the possibility of making a mistake when gambling. While a wrong bet can cause a gambler to lose a lot of money, this loss can also prevent him from making the same mistake in the future.
Gambling addiction is one thing, and thinking about correcting one's mistakes is another, and forgetting past losses is another. And this is why gamblers forget past losses so quickly, and want to start gambling again.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: $BTC to $90k+, are we in bear market? on: August 03, 2025, 10:34:24 PM
This is not the time to contemplate bear market, unless its done as a form of fud. Bitcoin is still above $100k, so we are still in bull market. What is happening is just normal correction which will not last long. This is not the first time we are seeing such correction, and bitcoin always recovers, which means it will also recover this time around.
Yeah. Actually, the market is not showing a strong trend yet, which would suggest that the market has entered a bear market. Bitcoin is still at $114k, which was a dream price point even three years ago. And now that the price has dropped by a few thousand, many people start talking about the beginning of a bear market, but that price is nothing compared to Bitcoin's gains in recent years.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Give up! If you notice trading is not for you. on: August 03, 2025, 09:52:01 PM
I think a professional trader never trades without market analysis. Yes, it is true that to trade, you need to have at least a minimum knowledge of the market, otherwise you cannot be profitable in the future. To be successful in crypto trading, it is important to analyze this in depth. If someone does not have knowledge about this, it is difficult to be successful. So I would say that those who are new to crypto trading must definitely examine it well. And start trading with a small amount of money.
Without trading knowledge, no trader can survive in the crypto market for long. Being able to analyze the market correctly is the main tool of trading, if a trader blindly follows someone and takes trades, then there is a possibility of his downfall very quickly.
The biggest mistake newbie traders make when they start trading is following various influencers and buying various coins they share. And in this they face huge losses. And that's why you have to spend time acquiring knowledge to make yourself a professional trader.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How quickly do you forget a loss on: August 03, 2025, 08:41:51 PM
After a loss, I might spend a few hours thinking, "I wish it had happened this way, not this way, or that way, etc." But I forget about it after a while and start thinking about finding a new way to deposit more money. I think that many gamblers like me think the same way as other gamblers.
When a gambler loses, he does not turn away from gambling, but forgets the bad experience and starts gambling again. This is actually how a gambler thinks about gambling, but it does not mean that the gambler is addicted to gambling.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don’t give in to gambling bullying on: August 03, 2025, 08:20:16 PM
Everyone should have a private life, and that's why I like to keep some things private, like my gambling. We live in a society where people are quick to judge others and say bad things about them. Many people view gambling negatively, but the reason for this is that some extremely addicted gamblers have created a negative image of gambling in society. And because of these reasons, people tend to think negatively when someone gambles.
If someone is an open gambler, they have to listen to a lot of things, but even if they are bullied, they can't say much because they can't change everyone's thinking.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which assets to buy now? on: August 03, 2025, 06:05:14 PM
I think what you need now is to invest in knowledge, because only when you gain crypto knowledge can you decide for yourself where to invest. So start your crypto journey by gaining knowledge about crypto, and I hope you've already found a lot of good suggestions here too.
And my suggestion would be that if you really want to invest now, it would not be right to invest in projects other than Bitcoin, because you need to have sufficient knowledge about crypto to research those projects. So you spend time in the crypto community to gain crypto knowledge and that will be very helpful in the future.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what makes a good trader? on: August 03, 2025, 05:52:47 PM
Trading has it's ups and downs, losses are part of the journey to success and like you said what makes a good traded is the results he gets, if the losses he incurs are more than the profits there's something wrong. No matter how good a trader is no one is capable of becoming a master at trading, you can only reduce the risks involved with the knowledge that you have, this is why acquiring knowledge is important
Trading knowledge and trading skills can give a trader the ability to conduct market research, but they cannot guarantee that a trader will always be able to profit from the market. Sometimes not trading in the market is a big task, to build that skill, it is necessary to have trading skills, trading knowledge.
Having trading knowledge is important to stay in the market, because it is not always possible for all traders to profit from the market. We see that even experienced traders sometimes face huge losses, because no one can say for sure that they will always make a profit.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What first got you into gambling, and what keeps you coming back? on: August 03, 2025, 05:23:38 PM
The thing that initially attracted me the most in gambling was that I would get a chance to make money by betting on my favorite team. Since I have knowledge about sports betting, I would get a chance to earn a lot of money from it. But later I realized that betting only for the purpose of earning money will never be profitable and I can only use the money that if lost will not have any impact on my personal life.
I was also interested in sports from a young age. When I was a teenager, I used to watch a cousin of mine making a lot of money betting on sports, because he was earning a pretty good amount of money. And from this, my interest in sports betting grew, and I started sports betting with my cousin with small bets because I didn't have enough money at that time. And that's where my journey into gambling began and it's still ongoing.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If You Can’t Explain the Trade, You Shouldn’t Be in It on: August 03, 2025, 03:51:33 PM
Another type of scam is the spread of free signals groups for Pump.Fun memes. These scammers buy a meme and then post a recommendation for the meme that it will rise several times. When these foolish subscribers start buying and the meme's price rises, the channel owner sells to them and suddenly dumps the price, causing losses for these poor people who don't know what happened.
Currently, many groups are running these pump and dump schemes on a large scale, and ordinary crypto investors are falling into those traps and losing all their money. Now these pump and dump schemes are also being run by various big influencers. Currently, so-called crypto gurus are promoting such projects on various platforms including Telegram and X, but the goal of all of them is to create hype and dump their held coins to late buyers.
The crypto community should be more careful and refrain from blindly trusting any so-called crypto experts. Because most of these influencers are not honest, they can do anything for their own gain.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most Gambling Countries on: August 02, 2025, 10:52:08 PM
Third world countries may have their citizens at risk especially those suffering in poverty. They are ones who are expecting high returns over small capitals the most because that’s the only way they can afford and they are hoping to be millionaires and finally break the cycle of poverty.
People in the third world have many limitations, and because of these limitations, they get involved in many things that can be even more harmful to them. They are primarily attracted to gambling for the sake of making quick money, and this type of behavior leads a gambler to addiction.
Gamblers who start gambling with the idea of becoming an overnight millionaire eventually lose control of themselves and become addicted to gambling, and this is more common in third world countries.
13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] go-go.exchange STOLE 11000 USDT on: August 02, 2025, 10:26:23 PM
Oh, but the thing is that on the monitoring site it was the same exchanger that does not ask for KYC, unlike several others. This was one of the criteria why I chose it.
It's unfortunate that you had to go through such a situation. In fact, if you were to use any exchange, you would need to read about their KYC/AML policy, then you might not be in this situation. Now you are in such a situation that you now have to complete KYC to get your funds back since they have marked your funds as suspicious funds. Now, various exchanges have started a trend of using this kind of weapon called KYC to hold crypto users' funds, but in fact, there was never supposed to be anything called KYC in crypto.
However, if there are no bad links in your funds, then you can complete the KYC verification and withdraw the funds. This should not have happened, but they have blocked your funds on the pretext of their KYC/AML policy.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for August on: August 02, 2025, 09:13:07 PM
So July monthly chart is looking pretty good imho.  It's up a tad over 8% and the chart looks nice.  But it looks like there was some month end shenanigans going on as some guys decided it was a good time to sell down.  It's really weird timing.  Wink
So yeah...  What do you guys think of August?  Is it gonna be green again or will BTC take a break for a bit and close red?
August is rarely a green month for Bitcoin so this year will not be different from other years. I have known August as a period in which Bitcoin offer people last buying opportunity before the rally to peak begin from September.  The market is already showing the sign that this sequence will happen so it's time for more buy orders rather than fidgeting.
Right. August is not exactly a good month for Bitcoin, as historical evidence suggests. As the market looks to be headed for a greenback and a deeper sell-off, Bitcoin investors are looking for more opportunities to buy Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin might have done something different this year if it weren't for the downtrend seen in traditional markets due to Donald Trump's tariff declaration. So we might be able to see which way the market will go after the market opens next Monday, because we can see a significant impact of the traditional market on the Bitcoin price as well.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: $BTC to $90k+, are we in bear market? on: August 02, 2025, 07:26:17 PM
It is hard to say right now whether Bitcoin is in a Bear market or not. Because Bitcoin was already in a big uptrend, and Bitcoin was very volatile. Since Bitcoin had already hit a huge $123k ATH, and when it hits a huge ATH, the market goes into a healthy correction before moving into the next trend. And we are now in a situation where Bitcoin is correcting. And the influencer who shared this picture doesn't need to panic about it so seriously.
These influencers keep sharing things, taking credit for their predictions if they are correct, and hiding and deleting the post if they fail. So keep an eye on the market, and use your own knowledge to make decisions so that you don't end up making the wrong ones.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If You Can’t Explain the Trade, You Shouldn’t Be in It on: August 02, 2025, 06:05:46 PM
I have tried many of these channels that claim to provide successful trading signals, but I've only benefited from them a little. Even the paid ones are worth nothing. Most of them brag about their successful trades and the confirmed signals they provide but most of them are liars.
I too had joined many such channels in the past, after seeing their free channel promotions and joining their paid signal group. But I didn't get any good results even after using their paid service.
Because they used to give 10-20 signals every day and the maximum of those signals were negative, and if 2-3 of them were successful, they would take credit for the fact that they had given the signal for this sure trade, but they would not say anything about the rest of the losing trades. These are actually a big trick to attract traders, and many newbie traders fall into this kind of trap, which takes them a long time to understand and ends up losing money.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: selfie required before you can play? on: August 02, 2025, 05:40:55 PM
For me i see this development as a good way of minimizing gambling addiction rate among the youths, but the facials verification exercise may not really prove the identity or age of the gambler so this is a reason I don't see it necessary, if there's a way to get rid of addiction or underage gambling I think other factors should be considered not the selfie captions.
This is a minor verification and the gambling site asks you to provide a selfie to see if you are real or not. The main question is whether this can actually control gambling in this way. It is also difficult to reliably identify the real person from a selfie, because anyone who activates an account with a selfie can use that account to gamble. If the government wants to minimize gambling addiction, there is no other way but to create awareness and conduct various campaigns. Because even a teenager can gamble by creating an account with an old man's selfie!
18  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Winna.com don’t pay money without any response on: August 02, 2025, 04:54:16 PM
Your issue actually seems suspicious to them after seeing your transaction. And after reading their ToC I am sure they have 1x wagering requirement. However they have already exceeded their time limit of 5 working days and have not informed about the progress of your issue, this is also unacceptable. I hope they will investigate and provide details on this matter, what they actually found and when your withdrawal will be completed.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: do we think btc will drop again this year or next year? on: August 01, 2025, 08:18:07 PM
No one knows exactly which direction the market will go. However, by looking at some market movements, it is often possible to guess a lot about what changes are actually going to happen in the market. A few days ago we saw Bitcoin hit a new ATH of $123k and that created a new possibility that Bitcoin could hit $150k or there could be a minor correction.
The market is actually correcting now to prepare for the next movement. Bitcoin always gives investors the opportunity to buy Bitcoin, but how investors use that opportunity is the main thing. So I think you should watch the market to take your position before the next uptrend.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Knew a Game Was Rigged, will you continue to play and exploit the system? on: August 01, 2025, 07:37:25 PM
There are many gamblers who look for loopholes in the system to take advantage of them to win maximum. But casinos are not so stupid that they will not be able to catch mistakes in their systems in time, because they can face huge losses due to loopholes in their systems if they are not constantly monitored.
So we often see many gamblers exploiting the weaknesses of the system and making huge profits, but the casino catches them when they go to withdraw. So there is no way to think that the casinos are stupid, they are smart enough to catch when, who, and how.
