1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless projects! on: January 12, 2020, 05:23:40 PM
It's really hard to keep a track of it as most of the projects just disappears after getting some funds from ICO or else just fails to survive post ICO. I don't think we will ever see a list of successful projects unless we start our over research as one cannot rely on ranking sites anymore as a proof about project's outcome.

We can still rely on them. They are trustworthy. If you have however been dissapointed with projects that got high ratings, I'll encourage you not to be discouraged.  Not all projects are like that. Just keep a rule in mind always, that you must never be greedy at anytime. Dont put in more than you can afford to lose
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 18, 2019, 10:42:54 AM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you

It's not unusual that projects can increase the number of weeks for which it is meant to be run. But the question is that "are bounty hunters getting paid for the extra week of work?"
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: not a rule! but it's about your common sense to avoid scam projects on: November 18, 2019, 10:40:15 AM
Regulasi aren't a golden bullet against scammers. As all those things become more obvious to the general public, scammers evolve to mimic decent projects with almost impeccable efficiency. Still, the most reasonable rule of investment isn't about ICOs or IPOs, it's just about your common sense. I mean no matter what, never spend more money than you can afford to lose.

This is very true. I read posts more often than not, claiming that regulations will curb the menace of scammers. But scammers can also find their way around this regulations to be able to make heads way. Notwithstanding,  just as you have rightly said, never invest more than you can afford to lose. Dont be greedy. That's the simple golden rule
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: November 11, 2019, 03:42:06 AM

After the failures of ico and the short progress of ico; it brings a sigh of fear into crypto currency.

Investors are smarter; and do not rush into tokens
while bounty hunters are increased thus providing poor contents which leads to no reward

If we consider previously where projects raise 10m$ for just launching app unlike now where
Most Projects this year struggle to raise even 100$; and it looks like ieo/ico will die soon.

What will be the future of crypto currency?
Does it need regulation as stock and forex ? Or the sequence of struggle continues ?

Now there are news about a possible increase in bitcoin supply; is it healthy for the space ?

For hunters; soon; I doubt we will find worthy projects to promote

As this is my first post in altcoins; I hope I get a lot of suggestions to improve my knowledge likewise

This is more reason why project developers should see to it that their projects survive at all cost, if not ICO/IEO might continue the struggle if they always find it hard to reach their soft cap
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eth is hacked ........ on: November 11, 2019, 03:38:06 AM
what can I do to stop it
I have no evidence

the hacker's address is  0xEEBbC9888fD8Ec5dFC267a915664780c8fa66426

My address is 0xd125a58b966dc8bdf10489fd910ca929934a0dbc

It happened in Jun 6th

I guess I download a virus altcoin wallet and the hacker found my private key in my desktop

Accounts get hacked most times when you download some tricky apps. One has to be more careful with various app downloads because some of these apps gives hackers a free access to your private key if stored on the same device used for the download
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: November 10, 2019, 05:26:27 PM
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?

It will be nice if we can put this into action. Sincerely,  we will have less people in the cryptospace complaining of being scammed by projects they have invested in or promoted
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: short term or long term investing on: November 10, 2019, 12:18:29 AM
hi guys
do u prefer short or long term investing in crypto i prefer short term only
i just buying a coin for ex at 20 and sold at 21 or buy at 60 sold 61 in the same
day i don't like long term investing because it take too long and finally that
coin can fall even peoples who bought ETH at 0.03 or more they are in big lost
now and even BNB some peoples bought at 0.003 or even 0.004 i know
that some coins can raise in the future but i don't think we have to hold
coins for yeras when u can make in this periode thousands of dollars
in short term investments i remember when i make 1700$ in hours
with NLC2 its a shit coin true with price of 20 sat now but i don't care
because i didn't hold it i just checked its chart and i found it falling
to 800 sat and raising to 900 in seconds so i bought it many times
at 800 and i sold it 900 and i make 1700$ i less then two hours  Grin
what i want to say is why u holding coins for a year when u can
make at least 25 - 50$ in a day with only 0.15 - 0.20 BTC this
means 50*365=18250$

I think one should do both the long term and short term. And that way, you can maximize your profit  and reduce your losses.  Such that even if you lose in one, the other one may turn out well to buffer either of it that failed
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: November 10, 2019, 12:13:12 AM
I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.

I strongly believe you. A project cannot be considered a scam because it failed. Some projects just find it hard reaching their soft cap. Some projects dont get enough investors too even though the project has so much prospects. So, the fact that  a project does  not turn out as promised does not mean it's bad project. And if a project has disappointed before, it's true that, it could be very painful but people should desist from generalize statements of saying "most" projects are scam. Because in actual fact, they are not
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fidelity news! on: November 10, 2019, 12:09:29 AM
Fidelity Digital Asset Services has announced the full launch of its cryptocurrency custodial and trading services for qualified investors.

So, maybe it is the sign that after some time we will see some growth?

Yes, I believe we could finally see some growth with this Fidelity Digital asset services. Investors just need to take that leap of faith so they can be beneficiaries of this project afterwards
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you identify a transparent project team? on: November 10, 2019, 12:05:29 AM
If the project is a scam, it would be really silly of its team to show their true identities. In most cases, they just find some pics online and use them as the images of their “Chief Financial Officers” or “advisors,” as was seen  in Empire Card who used a picture of French actress Sabine de Poncins, little known outside of France, as the portrait of their proud imaginary CEO Patricia Harrison. There have even been reports of Ryan Gosling “working” for a project as a designer under a completely different name.
Some scammers are, however, way more intricate. They know it’s quite easy to reveal a fake pic so they just hire people to pose as their CEOs, CFOs, and so forth. Rumor has it that certain scammers even pay homeless people to pretend they’re leading a disruptive startup to a bright and radiant future. This fraud is much harder to call out, but at least those guys help homeless people in some way, so here’s your silver lining.

There is no way to know if a project is a scam or not. No scam project will even notify you anywhere in their spread sheet or white paper that they are not legit. The best thing is to read well about the project and if they are convincing enough, you can join. If not, you need to trust tour gut and take any decision you consider needful
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Power belongs to the investors, they are not to be toyed with on: November 10, 2019, 12:03:05 AM
Investors needs to have interest in other for a project to survive, once investors lose interest its the end, this is why i think developers need to be serious from now onward, there will come a time that new projects won't see investors investing on their projects and its because we have had enough of crappy projects, if there is no more good ideas developers need to stop building projects

This is very true. No project can do well without investors.  When investors pull out of a project, it's not likely the project will survive. And that's why I agree with the fact that developers should work harder into seeing to it that their projects survive and they are able to meet up with their promises so that investors will not be dissapointed and fail to support other new projects coming up
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best time for promoting bounty projects on: November 10, 2019, 12:00:13 AM
The best time to promote bounties are on altcoins season ,if you are tired of one delay after the other just quit till altcoins season returns ,this is the reason why 2017 was the best year for bounty hunters

I really do not understand what you mean by altcoun seasons, maybe you can expanciate well so your point can be clear.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: November 09, 2019, 11:58:22 PM
Before now, I have always been getting it wrong about cryptocurrency. A friend recently opened my eyes to see how I could have increase little coins I have to fortune overtime by day-trading. But I am no that type. I had always thought I could only make fortune in crypto by hodling a certain coin for long.

13 months ago, I bought SNTR worth about $100 hoping that in few months I'll wallow in milliions of dollars like Ian Balina , but the reverse is often the case in the subsequent ones I bought. Sad fact, $100 worth of SNTR 13 months ago now less than $2.

Recently, I watched several videos of how to analyse a coin or token to invest in, gained some good knowledge of the basics. I discovered day-trading tokens like DX token and AWC could have actually make me what I hope to be If i had the right information. But its never too late. Yet, I am drowned in mentality that hodling for long can only be the fortune I hope for. Reason I need help.

Day trading is not as simple or easy as we think at times however, it pays off most of the time. But the idea of holding a coin for so long a time, I cant advice that. It's always safe to monitor the market trends and the attribute of not being greedy has to be put into action here. When the prices are low, it's safe to buy. And when the prices are increasing again, just monitor it for a while and sell the moment you realise the prices are stable. If the prices are dropping so fast, it's better to sell quickly because it might take a long while before prices rise again
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE A BREAK! on: November 09, 2019, 11:53:12 PM
You have tried so hard investing in different ICO and IEO without any success, you have lost at every investment you made, it is time to take a break. You have participated in hundreds of bounty campaigns without anything to show for it, it is time to take a break. You have been a bounty manager for years now buy every campaign that you have managed has ended up a scam or shit, it is time for you to take a break. Though some may advise you to try harder but i put it to you take a break, you cannot live all your life trying harder. Maybe you need to enjoy the forum for some times making necessary research and reading through every quality post to learn necessary things. You can also try your hands on other things. Get things straight, no matter how hard we try, we cannot all succeed in the crypto sphere. As an investor, stop loss. As a bountyhunter save your time for something reasonable. As a bounty manager, i know your integrity is important to you.

          Take a break!

Sunch a wonderful advice for so many people frustrated with various conditions in the crypto space. Several people have a hard time coping with disappointments. Well, I'll join this writer to tell you today to kindly take a break. Clear tour mind, let out some steam, refresh yourself till you are satisfied, then you can forge ahead afterwards
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Camouflage bounty manager? on: November 09, 2019, 11:48:39 PM
is it possible that the prize manager and the entire project crew including the developer, they work together and deliberately promote fraudulent projects?

I see how easy they are to erase red trust and promote fraudulent projects repeatedly?
Is this what is called a camouflage manager?

It is true that so many project dont turn out as expected; not being able to meet up with their promises, thereby disappointing bounty hunters, investors or traders.  But I can not affirm the fact that the entire project crew including the developer connive together to scam people. That is a very huge accusation.  Notwithstanding,  one just has to be careful while choosing projects
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 09, 2019, 11:44:16 PM
We are saving for a house down payment of 40K.  I don't want to leave it in the bank as there is a old judgement they can take any time so i want to store it in crypto as we grow it over the next 6 months.  Is a stable coin the best option?  Thoughts?

The thought is good. But kn the other hand, I will advive that you run a 1 year plan instead of 6 months since you cant predict market conditions for now. And when the money increases at anytime over the space of the 1 year, tmyou can cash out. Its safer that way than the 6 month
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: November 09, 2019, 11:41:29 PM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?

Sincerely,  most of these bounty campaigns we usually claim to be scam project are not in the real sense of it. Many projects just find it hard to reach their soft cap. Not that they are set out from the start to scam people. No. It's possible they post huge sum of money to be allocated to bounty hunters, virtually all projects do that. But some project eventually pay while others are not able to meet up maybe  because of the market conditions at that moment or they are not able to reach their soft cap
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! SO MANY PROJECTS !!! What 's going on ? on: November 09, 2019, 11:36:15 PM
New projects make good news of good things to happen
Are they all right ?
Or are they all just chanting slogans ?

REALLY!!!  What 's going on ?
If you know a good project ,NAME IT !!!

There is no big deal about all these new projects coming up. What should be of concern to investors and traders is how they will trade or invest wisely, so there wont be any incidence of unbearable loss, just incase the project does not turn out to be a good one. That said, there will always be new projects in the crypto space
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto-powered social network a trend? on: November 07, 2019, 08:22:49 PM
I noticed that there are quite a number of crypto-powered social media popping out in recent years. I believe the most successful one is Steemit, which most of us can agreed on. There are also other social network platforms like Appics, Uhive and etc. I am curious to know if anyone of you is willing to switch from the daily social network app like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to crypto-powered social network. And if you could, do share your reasons for doing so.

The fact that you can get paid on a crypto powered social network for posting beautiful things like write ups is a major reason why many people will love to use Steemit for instance over other social media. But that is not to say all the other social media so not  have their own advantages. They definitely do. What informs an individual's choice of social media network is what is needed to be achieved by that individual
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects on: November 07, 2019, 08:18:27 PM
A good crypto project is enough to change one's life so why not take the chances?all i keep doing is making sure i get a share hold of very good coins or tokens with real use case and yes i did have many coins but i believe that a good crypto project is all we need. Am I doing the right thing?

What you said is entirely true but besides this, it is important to take cognisance of all the rules of trading and investment so you dont end up making mistake or staching up shit coins.
