3  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump announces new golden visa scheme on: September 23, 2025, 05:21:50 PM
The USA is no longer a "promised land", that provides endless opportunities for the poor and the oppressed. I've never lived in the USA, but I think that the "American dream" is finally dead and life in America sucks(and things are about to get worse). Obviously Trump wants to convince more rich people around the world to come to America and invest their money in the US economy, but I highly doubt that the USA is still being viewed as a "Paradise". The world is full with "tax heaven" offshore jurisdictions. If I was a very wealthy guy, I would prefer a "tax heaven" island over the USA.
That's only if you were a wealthy guy but what if we are just an average guy? We would never want to go and reside in the US if we are not wealthy as the cost of living over there has already skyrocketed over the past few decades. US is meant to be one of the wealthiest country now and people below their basic wages are just considered as a burden who can't even afford basic necessity anymore. The wealthiest are making most out of their lives by purchasing expensive mansions, yachts, a private vacation house on a nice island and are having most of the riches in their lives but the ones struggling to manage their finances are left with no other option but to keep struggling.

The only good thing in the US will be the healthcare but rest all is really getting messed up. The US government should really start thinking about the middle-class or poor people again.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all DePin projects are legit on: September 23, 2025, 04:29:01 PM
Of course, do check all the other parameters. Do you have other DePin that you can report with a red flag? Help the community by reporting it here.
Any depin without good backers must be tagged as a suspicious depin. Not all of depins were scam, but mostly they are. However, a depin that backed by a solid backers such as Open Ledger, and already doxxed would not scam us.

Anyway, there are tens or hundreds of depin at this moment, and 99% of them are scam. Why don't we think otherwise by making a list of good depin instead of making a report about tens or hundreds of scam depin? It'd be more helpful in order to make our time much efficient.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
That's really wise. There will be hundreds of scam projects for each genuine project. We can really save time listing only the genuine projects here instead of digging all over for shady ones. There are quite a few which seem promising and worth giving a try. I was just surfing for various such depins and actually found a number of projects. It will take hours or maybe days for me to go through them to sort them accordingly.

Comparing these projects by their backer's past performance is a good idea but still a lot of these scam depins will list fake backers and it will again take days to validate with them to know if they are genuinely backing the project as not all backers are going to announce it on their socials.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🐳 Whale.io 🏏ACC ASIA CUP 2025 Discussion thread 🏏 20 Sep - 28 Sep 🏏 on: September 23, 2025, 02:11:03 PM
In a crucial game where both teams were looking for their first points in the Super Four Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first which looked good because they needed some confidence after losing badly against India meanwhile Sri Lank, which had an upper hand against Pakistan in the last few games was also looking for a fight back after losing to Bangladesh.

India had already secured their spot in the final after beating Pakistan giving them most of the chances they would stay undefeated in this event with their consistency and quality which is amazing their youths are doing an impressive job especially in batting which has good depth.

OP has also updated that there will be no Superbru only games and rounds sections, and tiebreakers will be enough for having points and a chance of winning in this competition.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: We work to earn, not to struggle in life. on: September 23, 2025, 04:15:22 AM
I guess having some life’s struggles is already tied to living your life. Although you can always chose to level up your life by upgrading some skills and venture into such new horizons, but let’s be realistic not everyone is given the opportunity to take such life’s progress simply because they have limited funds so they will just utilize those funds to survive in life, and adopting new skills and talents may not be their best option.
Adopting new skills and talents will not always required huge funds. It depends on a person's will and dedication. Anyone can upskill without needing to have access to huge funds. Yes, time might be required and upskilling will depend on your patience level. But anything can be learnt for free in today's world. There is nothing you can't achieve if you have that ambition.

Getting a job is good as it will give you a steady income but along with that job, you can spend hours everyday in learning something new which can give you an additional earning stream. We can just survive on the basic wages we get from our job. For a better life, we will always need some additional source of income which can only be followed after acquiring few specific skills.

I see on the game's and rounds board we have questions always ready each day before game is played, but where do we get to see the current leaderboard of this competition??

Do we have some kind of spreadsheet shared somewhere??

Maybe superbru link was shared and we didn't join ??
I am updating all things no worries about the leaderboard because members are well aware of what they are predicting and how things are going on Tuesday I will give all details about points to those who have participated and given their predictions every day.

Both matches have better quality even India completely outclassed Pakistan but still this match was worth watching now its rivalry tag is almost ended because Pakistan is down and out against top-tier teams due to their poor quality and performance in batting.

They have to bring revolutionary changes if they want to have better things in the future now both defeated teams are heading for their first win in Super Four with the next game being played between India vs Bangladesh.*

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a cultural thing? on: September 22, 2025, 06:46:04 PM
People often say that gambling is full of men. But I have seen women be addicted to gambling as well. Older women spend their remaining time in bingo places. You will often see grandmothers playing cards or mahjongs. Some daughters will even say they learned from their mothers. So I am surprised to see when people say they are only recently seeing women around gambling. Is it a cultural thing? Are women from specific cultures more prone to gambling?
In some place, cock fights are like a cultural thing because they are mostly legal during fiesta's. It was also men are the ones that are involved on it the most but this is due to the nature of this game. Women are soft, so they can prefer games that are soft too. In a fiesta, there are carnivals and then there are different gambling games inside them including Bingo. This is where many women (especially the older ones) are now involved.

For those who said that gambling is full of men, maybe they not really mean it? I mean, maybe they are also aware that there are also women who play gambling but this is only the words that they used immediately. We can say or do the same thing sometimes though but maybe not really here in gambling. For those people who recently see women play gambling, maybe they only have a small world.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Made Money from Spotting what whales are Buying? on: September 22, 2025, 06:29:49 PM
What do you do with those discoveries? Do you start buying what the whales or big investors are buying, no matter how small your funds are?  Or do you do these just to catch market trends?
It will be very difficult to open orders at the same price at which large investors bought, since the price may have already changed by that time. And there may be such a situation that when you just start buying, they will already start selling the purchased coins.
That will happen for sure. Such large orders are made public after a while. Even few trackers are not lively monitored and they will give us an update once the purchase was already made a couple of hours ago. This will create a false alarm and people will start opening their positions in that price range which to be honest can even be sell-out zone for these whales.

Following whales is really not that easy unless you know one of the whale personally and he/she are giving you signals just because you are their friend. In other scenarios, you will always be late even after you spot a whale transaction.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you guys approaching profits? on: September 22, 2025, 06:19:01 PM
Well, I have been checking some listings, recently I have come around with LINEA and AVNT listings, before Binance was going to list it, other exchanges like Bitget have listed it 1 hour earlier than Binance, and seeing this creates some arbitrage. I traded it and as you know, that kind of timing shows how being early can change the outcome of a trade.

Though there are so many strategies in trading to make profit, which one of the strategy makes your trading profitable aside from mine?
Investing in early listings can not always be profitable. Yes, some coins will show a sudden peak once they are listed but a lot of these coins will dump hard as soon as they list because there will be tons of bounty hunters waiting to sell the coins to encash their rewards. This is never a good strategy if you want to make stable profits. Instead you can choose staking for a couple of months where at least you can get stable returns and also the prices will hike if we enter the bull season so you can have double benefits.

There are a number of ways to make profits, it depends on you which way you want to choose. If you want to stick with trading than why not just buy a few coins and hold them as long as you can. Make sure to select the coins appropriately as not every coin is going to give you profits. I mostly would prefer investing in top coins and sitting back waiting for the bull run to approach.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2025 NBA Season on: September 22, 2025, 06:03:21 PM
I think Leonard have medical dispute made before even if Spurs has declared that he's already fine. I think he seek for second opinion and since I think he didn't feel that he's fine at that time.

Also Leonard think that he's been mishandled by Spurs at that time that's why there's tension growing. Then he's been traded and rest is history then he became a champion in Raptors.

But maybe if he didn't became an injury prone player maybe he could do more better for his career and aligned with those HOF guy, but unfortunately those issues stop him to be like those guys on top.
Kawhi was "cleared" by Spurs doctors, so he went and got another "opinion" from outside to be able to not play. And I can understand, if you do not feel 100% and not want to play that is fine and you do not have to, but that is also a reason the team may want you out as well.

I mean if the teams doctors tells the team that he is ready t o play and the player still goes out and gets a report that shows he can't, that's fine, the team can't make him play, but they can get him traded. Ever since those days, I always knew that he wasn't really a great locker room guy and should not be considered as a person who would be good for any team at all. He has done wonders at Toronto for one year, that was good, but ever since then, he just lays around.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: self control on: September 22, 2025, 05:34:41 PM
Because of it so many things has now taken a form of savings for some persons because whenever they receive money is good as exhausted and if they were even getting solve able things with it we could have use it as the reason but instead wasted, so they rely on other people to keep there money, an inevitable problem is what somebody should solve no matter how long it takes them to control it because they cannot live a depending live were as there poor self control will make them involve people on what they shouldn't have known about the person. Discipline creates focus and filter the minds because it doesn't give space for misleading and a rush into anything.
This is why I create debt, much stupider version of saving, but works. Because I get the money upfront, and use it on whatever investment or whatever, and then I pay the bank back, that way I am forced to save. And I get loans in size of I can pay without cashing out my investment, like directly from my salary. Latest was like 100 bucks per month, very small, but it paid for almost all my personal debt (wife still has some) and I have all my salary opened up.

Basically things are always much more expensive. Because you pay interest to bank instead of saving directly. Instead of saving 100 dollars myself like I should, I pay that to the bank, for 3 years, but I didn't get 3.6k dollars, I got less than 3k. That's why it's better to save yourself, but if you fail, this is an alternative.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A reason you should be careful comparing your trades. on: September 21, 2025, 08:10:03 PM
You know, whether you're solo or in a group, we can learn from both. As I've read in this section, both have their own pros and cons.

Of course, it just depends on what we choose as traders. If you think you can gain knowledge faster by joining a group, then prioritize that.
But if you're hesitant about groups, it's better just to go solo. The logic is really that simple to understand, right?
Right, but in groups it will be much easier as all doubts will be cleared. Sometimes, we might not think of a doubt but someone from the group will ask that doubt which will give us clarity. That's the reason why learning in groups can be helpful and is being done traditionally. Not everyone has same doubt. But all doubts are sensible.

In a group, we can always look forward for help from the person sitting next to us as they might know a few sections better than us. But while going solo, you have to learn everything from scratch making it difficult to understand all the functionalities without hesitation. It is a good strategy to first learn in group and then start implementing it solo. You can start gaining solo experiences after you have learnt enough from the groups. Group studies have proven much effective instead of solo studies and same will apply here.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: September 21, 2025, 05:08:21 PM
I don't think it's just the red card that saved amorin his job, the  main person that saved him was Enzo mascara, I'm saying this because even though there was a red card early on, Chelsea would have even won the game if Enzo mascara  wasn't panicking as the red card came, because as red card came, he start making panicking and error prone decisions.
And even after the first half when much damage have been done by his terrible substitutes, instead of him putting garnacho into the fray at the beginning of the second half, he waited and waited till after the 60 minutes Mark, he brought in gusto and George without even putting garnacho that is more even more experience, and to be honest if he has made a right substitutes Chelsea would have came back and equalized the game and I don't even think Manchester united would have scored two goals in the the first place if Enzo mascara was doing the right thing, that Is why I think that he was the reason Chelsea lost this game to Manchester united not the red card.
Who the hell is Mascara? What a funny pronunciation of Maresca! Cheesy Cheesy

You'er quire right about how Maresca was quite panicking and made mistakes by subbed off all of their winger. However, his club might be conceded more goals if he was keeping all of his wingers. You know how crap his backline is even when he puts more defenders in their squad.
So it makes sense if his club would face worsen result if he keeps his winger. Playing with a men down is giving huge pressure to his squad.
When you lose someone, anyone, it is smarter to turn into three defender stuff. That way, you could have three centre backs, and that allows you to defend better, and then two wing backs, who come to help but also go to attack, that way you are covering that difference, instead of 4 people, at wings, 2 backs, 2 wingers, you have 2 people there, who do both jobs.

Obviously it's subpar job compared to having four, but you still do fine and that gone player is eaten up in that math. Then you keep the rest as the same and you allow yourself to be better. So instead of 2 centre backs, you go up to 3 , and instead of 4 on the wings, you go down to 2, and you lost one, so now everything is equal and same, only difference is your backs will be much more tired, so you change them quickly when they are tired.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake it til you make it? on: September 21, 2025, 04:16:22 PM
I don't have to fake my own situation just to get pity. I prefer to be honest with them so they can see the real me. A relationship doesn't look at what we have but who we really are and there is no pretense in us. We don't have to pretend we are a successful person just want to make them impress. I feel better if they can see what I am. It is better that we are honest with them and don't bother to think about what they will think about us.  We have many friends so we can select those who want to besides us. We can use them as our inspiration to develop ourselves and have a better life.
I agree, and if some people don't want to be around you or want you to be around them only because of how you are doing financially in your life, they don't really deserve you, because they don't basically need you in their lives but they were always wanting to be with you only because they thought you were financially settled and are doing well. If you tell everyone and let them know that you are not that good financially at the moment, and they start leaving you, you should be happy because now you won't have any fake people with fake emotions in your life.

Those who stay at times like that with you are the people you should love and adore throughout your life, and if some day you become financially stable, or even rich, those are the people who would deserve everything you have, and then you should do whatever you can for them because they stood by your side when all the fake faces left you after realizing that you were not doing well financially.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins Outperform Bitcoin Again? on: September 21, 2025, 02:31:10 PM
Bitcoin is ahead , but altcoins often outperform it in certain cycles. When Bitcoin rallies, capital flows in, and once it slows, traders sometimes rotate into smaller tokens for higher returns. This dynamic is tracked through Bitcoin dominance.

Balancing between Bitcoin’s stability and altcoins’ potential upside is part of portfolio management. Timing is key betting on altcoins too early can be painful, while waiting too long can mean missing opportunities. The question isn’t whether altcoins will move, but when.Would you put your confidence in Bitcoin’s dominance or risk chasing altcoin surges?
Altcoins will definitely move but will not outperform bitcoins. Bitcoins will be the first one to show growth in any cycle and altcoins will only follow the path. Altcoins are usually treated as a secondary mean of investment as compared to bitcoins. Consider any trader or holder, their first preference would be bitcoins. They would at least have some bitcoins and then they would prefer investing into altcoins. This will make bitcoins as their choice currency and in any season, they would first invest in bitcoins to enjoy the rally. Altcoins will follow what bitcoin does so people will gradually start investing into altcoins as bitcoins stabilise.

This has been an ongoing topic for years now but the answer remains the same. Bitcoin has dominated the crypto space being the first ever mined coin and people will not change their decision anytime soon. This will always make bitcoins outperform the markets.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The rich is hugely favoured in gamble. on: September 20, 2025, 10:10:31 PM

Definitely staking power is an advantage in gambling that's undeniable, the ones with big bankroll would also make more money than the smaller stakes. The amount of profit someone with an big bankroll will make with lower odds it'd take someone with small bankroll alot of gambling activities to get close. Staking on smaller odds increases your chances.

I started my gambling journey with a smaller bankroll as was not privileged enough to be one of those big bankroll gamblers, so started accumulating my bankroll bit by bit to where I am today.
I am also feeling that having a good bankroll is always helpful but if someone has a small one they can still achieve something good without strong mentality and a good strategy it will never work out things are often against you and opportunities slip away quickly.

A big bankroll is beneficial because it gives confidence and also a brave mind that can take on challenges and never feel pressured by poor circumstances people with small bankrolls often face numerous problems, which can lead to them giving up easily even if they have the potential to do better on the other hand, having a small bankroll and suspicious thoughts can hold you back from taking risks which can ultimately bring good results and better things in life.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake it til you make it? on: September 20, 2025, 09:51:13 PM
I don't have a problem with you faking it and trying to make people see you like you have made it. As long as you are putting in the effort behind the scene and engaging in economic activities that will aid you to later making it in life. But if you truly know that you don't have anything that you are hoping on that will later help you to make it in life, you better not fake anything. Open up and ask for help from those your friends that are doing better than you.
I really appreciate your views because they are good and solid but here's the problem: things like these never work everywhere and for everyone around us few people seem to be interested in helping us improve our lives mostly because they want to let us down.
I'm talking about this in my near circle In face-to-face meetings we often have different opinions but what's behind them is that some people are working against us because they're unhappy with being brought up to a good level hypocrisy is at its worst just because of this we always need to do things that benefit us and also help others in developing our lives.
If you need help or want to find stability through friends or near people then there's still something you can do to make it work better otherwise you're nothing but a waste of time.
