Read the contract.

Please quote it. It is not written in the contract.

my point is you seem to not understand.

You need to quote it.

4  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Goat owe me 3740.35 BTC on: May 27, 2014, 04:38:18 AM

Goat did get 10000 BTC from the GLBSE IPO.

Bull shit.

Goat did get 10000 BTC from the GLBSE IPO. Something else is not true. If your word is honest these money is funded for a arbitrage trading bot. Perhaps you left all 10000 BTC on your GLBSE account?

Me and Goat did a deal outside GLBSE long before it shut down.

you traded GLBSE assets for GLBSE assets. Now GLBSE is gone and Theymos has the BTC.

Theymos has the GLBSE coin and is an owner of GLBSE. You need to deal with Theymos.

I did not get another GLBSE asset. You sent me a contract by pm.

Me and Goat did a deal outside GLBSE long before it shut down.

GLBSE don't mean so much. It was just a web page for easier securities management. Investments can be totally private funded in person, email, phone. What is important is that a company or person have asked for money and have liabilities to pay something back.

Goat did get 10000 BTC from the GLBSE IPO.

Goat sad yesterday he was willing to pay me. Today this not seems to be serious anymore. I don't think it's so funny to here more excuses that theymos need to send Goat bitcoin first or whatever.

I want my fair share of this BTC stash.

i am happy to announce there is going to be a solution to this. Gurrty will get back his fair valued "investment" as suggested by theymos. The first step is to find the value of the assets traded for the contract as theymos advised. Since theymos is GLBSE owner he is the best fit to advise how much the asset traded was worth.

We will wait for the owner of GLBSE, theymos, to respond before the arrangement of the payment.

theymos, please advise us on what your assets were worth at the time.

Thank you for your advice and assistance in this matter.

I was not the owner of GLBSE. GLBSE was clearly owned by Nefario, as he was able to shut down the site without the approval of BitcoinGlobal, and despite my own vehement protests. However, I do have some knowledge of the GLBSE market situation at the time, so I'll be happy to advise in this case.

The contract is nonsensical and should be thrown away, but Gurrty deserves the value of his principal back. After some research, I've determined that the GLBSE market price of TYGRR.BOT was between 0.75 BTC and 1.04 BTC per share around June 5, 2012, but only for much smaller volumes. Since the contract's specified price of 1 BTC per share is within this range, I believe that it is best to take this price to be the actual value of the shares at the time of the contract. Therefore, the principal was worth 5762 BTC, or 30,999.56 USD at the time. Adding a reasonable 12% interest rate compounded daily for 1.97 years results in 39,265.02 USD. I judge that this is the amount owed to Gurrty by Goat.

Thankfully, I don't have to give out scammer tags anymore, so you can take this judgement or leave it...

So theymos judge 39,265.02 USD is the amount owed to Gurrty by Goat.

Thank you Goat for accepting this debt.

I understand I can decide if I want a bank transfer or BTC? I prefer Goat to send me BTC equal to 39,265.02 USD. It can be a bit hard to decide exact market price. But I suggest Todays Open on bitstamp 2014-05-25. That is 528.44 USD per BTC.

That is 74.3 BTC. Thoughts?

It should be sent to this address;

1G5w9hA4FCYbCxwUSnCUy799AHfcBGdHnQ

i do not agree with theymos but as soon as he gives me the btc he owes me that he holds for glbse i will forward it to you.

Really?

Theymos has claimed the same yet still remains to explain his reasoning on why he thinks Goat should pay the OP back a portion.

The contract clearly establishes debt:
Quote
With this contract it will be equal to 5762 bitcoin in debt

However, because the contract says "best effort" (and is vague in general), I don't believe that Goat should be required to follow the exact terms of the contract, especially since he clearly had difficulties at the time. But he should pay at least the USD value of the principal (= the market value of the shares) at the time, and probably more because he defaulted on the contract and the BTC is worth much more now.

Since you are a GLBSE owner, how much are his bonds worth?

Keep in mind you said pay the market value of the shares, not what the draft of the contract said we would trade them for.
Offer this guy 100 coins and move on.

why? cuz he said he would call the fbi? does that not open me up to all sorts of extortion? i do not deal well with terrorists.

I will not call FBI or go to court if you can work to get this solved. I hope I don't "need to" like I wrote. I expect Goat to present a good compensation by free will.

Even if I would have traded every weekly payment in USD, one 50 BTC principle payment per week is worth much 2013-2014. This contract is BTC denominated. How can ANYONE loan someone BTC and one, two years later only get USD value for that date.

I know BTC value will rise more in future as well. If someone offered me to loan me 50 BTC and only need to pay back USD value two years later it is almost certain I will only need to perhaps pay back 25 BTC or much less.

So is Goat interested in sending me back what he owe me?

This time around am I still open to talk about it. I suggest Goat send me 3740.35 BTC back and no lawyers are needed. Goat knows he will loose in court.
13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: His Most Eminent Highness Grand Caesar Imperator Goat owe me 3740.35 BTC on: May 25, 2014, 07:32:13 PM
When Goat is writing "dead weight low lifes" to smoothie I don't think that should be accepted. It is a very serious insult to a person.
14  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: His Most Eminent Highness Grand Caesar Imperator Goat owe me 3740.35 BTC on: May 25, 2014, 03:20:58 PM
I could not have taken BTC like everybody else that Goat stated. He offered me 0.5 BTC per bond. 50% cut off like that. Everybody else was offered 0.9-1 BTC per bond. So I made a contract to get my 1 BTC principle back.

"We will consider buying them back at .5 BTC if you want to take this option."

In same pm he also write;

"We are also trying to understand if you are serious about working something out. Your making this contract to fit your understanding of legality is a bit silly. Do you intend to take this to some European court and tell them some guy in Thailand borrowed your "bonds" traded in some internet hacker currency with no legal precedence in some stock exchange that has not been registered anywhere and operates in China?"

Like he is telling me that I don't have any legal right to anything.

But I was trying to work with Goat to get my principle back.

gurrty,
I know you lost quite a few BTC in the deal but it was a "RISK" you took the risk and you lost. I do feel bad for you but to make this an issue 2 years later is not the right thing.  He didn't scam you according to whats been presented.

It was a very Expensive MISTAKE on your part nothing more.  Sorry Man and wish you the best of luck.

***Edit** if i had some BTC i would throw it your way to help you out but i don't.

I asked Goat if he was willing to buy me out for 0.8 BTC per bond. I wasn't really interested in high interest. I make this suggestion 2012-05-27. I also write with good insight that a high interest loan will be costly for him.

@OP why did it take you so long to respond to his message?

Was it like 12 months between PMs between you two?

Yes it is two long periods when I don't write anything to Goat. First between 2012-09-14 to 2013-04-11. Second between 2013-04-11 to 2014-04-21.

I didn't know what to say to get my money back. Sometimes i forgot about it. But this is not forgotten. Goat should be honest and pay back my BTC.

If the FBI/SEC thing is really the "threat", then it came two years after he should have been paid, and it's more than a fair reaction. Why wasn't he paid in those two years, even though Goat obviously had the means to do so?

What happened between https://i.imgur.com/n1PtwQK.png and https://i.imgur.com/QsTwelS.png If nothing happened, then WHY?

Gurrty claims this all happened in 2012 but in his off topic Sob story posted April 10th,2013 about his life he never mentions anything about this. He talks about losing 15,000 bitcoins etc etc. but never mentions a bad investment . Here is a cut and paste of his post....Can't quote it because the thread is old.

I don't write how I lost my money. I just mention that I did took risks to grow my bitcoin. I should have been happy when I already had 15000 BTC and try to keep them safe in offline wallet and don't gamble with them. But that is too late to say now when all those 15000 BTC are gone. But Goat owe me 3740.35 BTC!

One day after I started that topic I was motivated to ask Goat if I could get some money back;

https://i.imgur.com/puWBax0.png

His response;

https://i.imgur.com/7vaoHp3.png

Goat rejects my proposal even if I suggest our debt to be converted in USD with 2012-06-05 market price. I will not suggest it again!

I have reported some PMs to Theymos.

Maybe Im reading this wrong, but what about this statement?

"This loan is made in good faith, is not guaranteed and is provided on a best effort basis."

Im sure Im reading it wrong, but thats not a very good statement to put into a legally binding contract.

Perhaps he tried to deceive me with such sentence. My opinion is that you can't just walk away with money that was mine. He is holding on to my money. He can buy thing that I can't buy. I was the owner of this debt. It was agreed that it should be payed back in 100 weeks with interest. Around this date, 2014-05-25, I should have got all my money back but I don't have.

I did all screenshots today from my pm history. I don't understand how it is hard to understand? Those pm are from 2012 but I made screenshots today 2014 with all updated forum features. All pm are very legit and is in forum database or how it works.

I have never posted any public about this scam until now. It is very personally insulting and I hope to get support from the community.
