Consider this an idea for the current competition REVENUE SHARING The ability to sign up others with large followings for a cut of their advertising revenue 1. Run wallets/nodes on their behalf 2. Bypass the oauth system by allowing them to use your wallet address as authorization (in a message to VIRAL HQ) 3. Develop a multi user/node wallet for revenue sharing promoters 4. Similar to affiliate or mlm where the promoter gets a cut, possibly through multi levels of users 5. Grouping - one large node Example - I may only have 100 followers but my whole family has 5000, they are willing to group together for an advertising campaign, all the revenue goes to a single wallet/node  |

So if i want to get involved in this pumping group and actually make some money out of alts i have to invest 0.5 btc per week, correct? could you list the microsoft Visual C++ Redistribuable package you have ? (in programs and features) ?
The 1st 5 listed below came pre-installed on my OS; the last 2 form part of Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 which I d/loaded from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679; that package includes a 3rd file, called vcredist_arm.exe, but as mentioned in a previous post, vcredist_arm.exe can't be run because, despite meeting the system requirements of this file, my Windows 7 service pack 1 OS doesn't see this file as a valid Win 32 application.  Do you have Antivir Pro ?
No. I run Norton Internet Security, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Zemana Anti-Malware and Zemana Anti-Logger When you right-click on opalcoin.conf and choose property: does win7 tells you it is a .conf file ?
Yes - CONF File (.conf) is your Opalcoin-Qt folder (where you should have opalcoin.exe ) is in the "Downloads" folder ?
No, when I d/loaded the Opal-Qt-opaque.1.3.1 folder it was (automatically) saved in 'My Documents' If yes please cut & paste Opalcoin-Qt folder on you Desk.
then, save your wallet.dat and your opalcoin.conf erase all the files and folder in C:\Users\~\AppData\Roaming\opalcoin
then paste your opalcoin.conf on it and start your wallet.

Old heartbleed wallet was ok, why add this to new version?
@oz_miner - what version of kaspersky? - new wallet is completely different code. it does not have much in common with heartbleed @everyone who uses kaspersky antivirus - could you please confirm or deny if it produces such a warning?The latest 15.0.1.145 does say it's a virus cos it's new. I haven't had any problems. Even if i create an exception it continues to delete the .exe file, its just a time waster and pain in the butt |

Looking at the hash on Suprnova, I see the top 15 > 12KH/s. This is on one pool so there might be other farms doing just solo. This pretty much shows that after the first few hours the coin is already out of reach of CPU mining. The GPU's have taken over in order to get that kind of hash. Unless of course you setup CPUs on 30 PCs running on this but that would not be feasible energy wise.
Anyways, at least I got about 4 coins right at the start and now just dust. Ill leave the mix of CPUs on it for a few days for another coin or two and then shut the CPU miners down.
There probably is some data to get out of this test, but so far the prima facie similarities with monero and all those other X coins are striking. When I left those coins way back they were all text based. What I like about Sup though is the nice graphical wallet and I can see a lot of hard work went into it. There were also excellent work done on the pools to have everything work so smoothly. I am super impressed by the pools especially with Suprnova. I am just disappointed with effort that went into getting GPU miners working before the launch as it took the CPUs out way too early. The distribution of the coins will be very narrow to the GPU miners which is a pity as broad based distribution (BBD) is a key factor to reduce the risk of a coin being manipulated or being dumped on by some unscrupulous miners. I think the hash rates are supporting my concerns and disappointment and indicative of an BBD opportunity missed. I will keep watching it though and look for opportunities in the markets once listed.
Lets hope that his next coin is released in a manner that is fair to all. This was supposed to be a test before the BIG one - hopefully lessons will be learned. When the scabs sell cheap i'll buy if the coin shows promise |
