do you send octo-tokens manually for people who burn their octocoins?
Am i right, that you had 88m tokens at the beginning and you can spend residue by yourself?

No that is not correct. The burn period is over. It has already happened. We had people burn over 19 million Octocoin and we did send them OCTO in exchange.

We have allocated over 22 million OCTO to be distributed monthly for the next 8 years for people who want to mine. They participate in folding at home with their CPU/GPU with foldingcoin.net. This first year is almost 20,000 OCTO per day to folders. It drops each year for the next 8 years.

We also have a lottery faucet on the LTB forum where you post your Counterparty address and we randomly choose a number monthly between 1-888 OCTO to distribute to participants.

We will also hold crowd sales to fund projects to distribute more OCTO in the future. There is no more burning. It was kept short intentionally because we only wanted a small % of coins to be burned compared to other forms of distribution. Anyone following the Octocoin board from December 2014 into February knew about the offered switch to Counterparty and we burned just under 50% of the available Octocoins.

There will be plenty of ways to earn OCTO as a community member coming up soon. And for now, OCTO is super cheap on Bittrex and the counterwallet DEX and on masterxchange.com.
