Electrum-Crown Release

Today Crown is releasing electrum-crown. It has been in the works for a while. This is the first proper release, not a beta.
The team have been hard at work, and it's finally done for the public! Electrum is available for all platforms (windows, mac, linux), so we hope you enjoy this release!

This release includes support for the Trezor hardware wallet. Once the Trezor firmware has support for Crown, you will be able to use your current Trezor with your electrum-crown to have that added protection to your funds.

The release of this client allows users to import crownpay/coinomi passphrases into the wallet to manage funds off your device, or if your device is broken you can import it into electrum-crown and easily recover your funds.

This is only one of many things to come –  stay tuned for more releases of applications and use cases for your Crown!

Below are the links for the clients for the specified platforrms

Windows 32/64Bit
MacOS
Linux 32/64Bit

Thank you for your continued support,
The Crown development team

I tried to set up a CRW MN on a VPS and the remote installation went fine and it's up and running. However, I edited the crown.conf file as per instructions like this:

Code:
Throne1 178.62.90.252:19340 5J7cqoGAZELHLzh1rP-----------------1ZQ1gXR8BywJVnk 2b8c08b8b1------------------------eb42695bf4ac6a5ec99a 1

The when I try to start the crown-qt on my Mac I get this message:

Whats wrong?
remove the 1 on 19340 should? fix it default port for crw is 9340 Smiley

Hey there, Crown Community.
We are looking for a person whom is skilled enough to do a fork of bitcore for Crown, You will be paid for the work you have done, and the amount paid will be confirmed beforehand. You’ll be required to fork bitcore related items examples of this are (insight block chain explorer, bitcore libraries, etc), You will be required to prove work that you’ve done this before, for another coin, or provide the required documents to show that you have coding skills in this ability, You will need to add auxpow header support to the bitcore code so that Crown can then use them for other items that will further give Crown access to more opportunities.

Please contact me via hypermist@crown.tech if you are interested in working for Crowns Bitcore code.
Thanks Hypermist (Developer Of Crown)

Hello Moin Community Members,

Today i'd like to propose the idea of helping in funding in a project i'd like to do for MOIN and other altcoins,
the idea is, making a 3d printed enclosure of the Moin logo that has been modified to support LED'S so you can then,
have a little desk lamp type deal with a moin logo, all i am asking from you guys is donations to help me get this project underway.

It cost a fair amount of money for all the equipment and the filaments and such, but it'd be awesome if you guys could help me out,
and make this dream a reality ! Anyone that contributes i'll announce you in credits and such once i have managed to get the project working successfully,
i'll also raffle off a few at the end of the project investments to the community !.

Thank you for your time and i hope you support me through this!.

Donation Addresses:
MOIN: MpoV6c7bWdukLyfzFhP1f6Jb8p93LMzEWs
BTC: 18CjJQ1GWjWwXKUgpNYkuttD2DTLXoA8nR

I accept other alts but please tell me what alt you'd like to donate in!

I think they are all focusing on another "project":
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1456407.0

Seems, that staisybit is not dead, but they could have posted in this thread about it, so the people only reading this thread would be updated.

Thank you for the hint, but focusing another project while ERC is still in maintenance, OKCash not staking, statistics about staking are wrong.....
How long until they abandon the "new" project just to focus the next one?

we  don't "abandon" projects, but we are the least persons in charge for staisybit and are not always (or seldom) in power to move things (I explaned very openly here before),
i don't have even any access to the tech area here. Because you seem to love seeing "patterns" to spread,
maybe you take a look at ALL projects, Meta and I am running, in some we are involved much longer then in Staisy .
Perhaps you recognize another pattern that makes much more sense then your current one, just saying.

You are kicking those , who are (especially Metamorphin) doing their best to get the most for you out of this situation,
and you do it, just because you can't catch the guy you are really angry on,
that's not THAT helpful for your problem.

We are small shareholders, nothing more. We COULD just walk away, but instead of doing so,
we care about your anger and even answer to accusation like this, because we know you have a reason to be angry.

try collaborating
Matthias
(Szenekonzept, Europecoin, Federated Blockchains, Bitcoinsulting, and Staisybits friend and shareholder)

.

.

Not really doing his best apart from repeating the same stuff to me, nearly over 5months without a reply. so all i can say is staisybit hijacked it and ran with my crypto lol (:

The fucking problem is 1. you have no way to reset it, 2. You guys dont reply to support i put in a ticket/support request on the month april or so its now june... Thats the bullshit...
Doesnt work mate.. get told the same shit..

Well that is very disappointing. I wonder why this thread has been kept quiet as well from metamorphin and the other guys from Staisybit. It makes me have certain doubts about using the platform, so I would advise to proceed with caution. Also, if you could salvage your coins by withdrawing them, do it before it is too late. Unless the Staisybit team proves that the platform is trustful enough for use, I'm out.  Sad
Can't withdraw because i dont have access to my account so Sad

Step by step, the staisybit-devs are solving the issues and working for the support. Dep and With are working now. The stakerewards are listed CORRECTLY.

Now, dear hypermist, we are working on your problem too. You forgot ur password or what is the problem exactly?

Hey,
How are things going with the Staisybit site?

MM
There are some (minor & cosmetic) changes... plus a couple of promises from szenekonzept and metamorphin to take over the customer support part...
It might just worth to have a little more patience... maybe.

I just hope that Staisybit doesn't turn into a scam. A good cloud staking service such as this could reach new heights if delivers features and trust as promised. By the way, my issue regarding the DMD balance on my Staisybit account is now solved. Just received a reply from support a few days ago.

One thing that I would look forward is the ability to have a mobile app for piece of mind. Also, the addition of new PoS coins wouldn't be a bad idea after all.  Smiley
Im still awaiting my support ticket from 2months+ ago sooo YAY!

That is a pretty long time. I'd suggest you try again by sending an email to support@staisybit.com Also, you could try to PM metamorphin just in case. Maybe they are pretty busy to reply to support tickets as they are working very hard to make the Staisybit platform a better one. I hope that they would get better in customer service, otherwise I would have my doubts in using this cloud staking service.  Undecided

We have a Transfercoin bootstrap for wallets. Great community, hypermist, member in our IRC channel made this for us. Download it from the link below and try it out.

https://mega.nz/#!LUsgFADJ!_7XYY7rK-detyQYA6nDrqYoLZFkqtERugV67psQbpIg

How to use it.

1. Download and install the Windows Transfercoin wallet software, run it and then close it.

2.Copy the bootstrap.dat file in the folder \Users\YOUR_WINDOWS_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Transfercoin

3. Run the Transfercoin wallet software to import most of the blockchain locally and then to download only the rest and synchronize the client.

Give us your feedback. Be sure to thank hypermist in IRC with some tips or twitter. @HypermistX

Edit. Corrected file path name.

Edit: Directions from here: http://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/bootstrap-dat/. Not sure if there is anything different that needs to be done. Let me know if so.  Grin

Having a hard time syncing a new wallet.  I tried the bootstrap and instructions and it did nothing.  I have been syncing over 10 hours and am still at 16 weeks behind.  I have 30 connections but the blocks are coming in so slow.  Is there a technique I should try?

edit: Just added maxorphanblocks=10000 - Will see if that helps.

edit2: ok much faster syncing - you may want to add maxorphanblocks=10000 to the OP transfer.conf?

Sure we can add that to the OP. It will also be coded into the wallets with the next release of wallets. Those will be out February 1st - 3rd.  Also Infernoman was testing sync times lastnight with new code. The tests looked good from his end, he is just finalizing some adjustments.

Thanks for your continued support pokeytex.  Grin

Thank you for dealing with my noob questions!

Man what a difference maxorphanblocks=10000 makes! Damn near done syncing!
Hey there pokey i dont understand why it wouldn't work, but the fact i think is because if its an already synced/syncing wallet it will not work as the bootstrap.dat is more the less there to build transaction/block data from scratch Smiley
