Just discovered in OP (that i can't stop looking at  ) that the Team is planning a decentralized Exchange also some way down the road, i missed that before, great news They seem to have a lot of work to do tho before this. It just means the price will continue up for a long time. |

**The XC Daily Update**
I think it would be a good idea to let the community know what the team is up to each day.
We always have a lot going on and it's futile to try report everything, but I'll give you regular updates on the agenda.
Today:
- Dan is working on the next update to secure private messaging (EM).
- I'm drafting the new OP for this thread.
- We're updating website materials, the FAQ, etc.
Fantastic Aryln! Can we get this also posted of the xc-official.com site daily so it doesn't get lost in the forum? Also posting on reddit would be great as well. Guess we could search for it but it's a bit of a pain. Sure. Of course. Creating a topic on the official forum now. Excellent! Done. We're under no obligation to give you an ETA. Why would you expect one? You've got no idea how many variables this depends on.
It's not only professional to not give one, it would be irresponsible, thus unprofessional, to wantonly give dates without being 100% certain we couldn't keep our word.
Why would an ETA make a difference anyway? EM is already being tested; it's not as if we've got nothing to show for. It'll be out in due course.
The big public bounty is around Rev 3. |

A small misunderstanding regarding Darkcoin's masternodes: It's completely decentralised. This is an improvement on the masternode (generic term: supernode) for two reasons:
- you don't create supernodes, which are big attractive targets for hackers
- you don't doubly incentivise hackers by requiring a large amount of coins be kept at a supernode.
Darkcoin's masternode doesn't have to hold the coins, you can keep them in cold wallet. For example my masternodes' wallets have 0 coins in them. That's all, gl with the XC. lol you're so mad right now. |

hey synechist thanx for your updates. Might I suggest something? I d love it if every new wallet/app release on OP is clarified with bold letters, along with its features(multipath, EM etc). I believe that itd be easier than just trying to quote ur older messages or reply ourselves. I believe that the community's engagement is actually undermining your work, because people try to share the tech/features/updates without being able to grasp them them or describe them 100%, thus creating confusion.
Apart from that, Id love to see that new roadmap as well, it might clear things a bit!

Thank you for the update synechist, what may help is having a laymen explanation of all the amazing features of XC.
I have a feeling that for a lot of investors English is not their first language, also we have a lot of new investors who are trying to get a grip of all the terminology.
It would help to have a definition for each item.
multipath is .... splitting transactions into fragments so that nobody can tell how much you send or receive from a given party. multinode is ..... sending transaction fragments to multiple other nodes instead of sending all the fragments to just one node. This prevents someone adding up the fragments and then identifying which address the node forwarded this amount to. mixing is ..... when a node receives a fragment it then forwards it onto the next node from a different address to the one it was received from, so that nobody can connect the receipt of coins from the sending onward. trustless mixing is ...... when a node mixes and forwards a transaction without being able to steal the coins. dynamic trust system is .... no longer necessary. It was a way of downrating/banning nodes for bad service. Xnode is .... the XC app. Thank you for this! Needs to be on the first post/website. If we want XC to be implemented in everyday life then we need to help people understand what it is and what it does in layman terms. |
