Smart money is buying/accumulating and holding in an anticipation of big news and releases coming. Good times coming for those who are patient through this dry time.
There is too much selling pressure. I hope we have found the bottom in 120s or else panic sell will lead us to Pre Rev 2 release.

Self-Moderated so will probably be deleted.
If its deleted its because its is unnecessary FUD. This is from about 3 pages ago. we've been over it... also Jasinlee replied himself when it was first brought up. [Personal summary of Jasinlee's ASIC project's problems]
Thanks for the information. The thread heard about Jasin's ASIC project yesterday and a link to the litecoin thread was posted too. No doubt this will affect XC. However: - These projects operate completely independently of each other, thus XC isn't affected by the ASIC developer who ran off. - Jasin is a businessman with several ventures, which is entirely the norm. It's not reasonable to assume he was diluting his energies by getting involved in other projects. - If you read the Litcoin thread, you'll see that Jasin's reason for not disclosing information to you earlier is that he did not want to spook the developer before he could get the funds back from him. - Jasin has been frank, apologetic, and has remained in communication on the Litecoin thread. - Jasin's reputation incentivises him to defend it and make amends. So in my opinion the ASIC situation is unfortunate, but does not impinge on Jasin's character. Synech Today you are in Full on Badass Ninja Mode

don't your stupid asics get build now?and he is not main people.Dan Metcalf is the XC lead dev and he is not responsible for your stupid preorder dilemma. He doesn't deserv that shit, i know you are hurt , but come on. on another note. if this thing doesn't get solved i could live without PoBC if you know what i mean.

Kashish, This issue has been discussed already. Personally I never want to see anyone scammed and I hope Jasin makes good on the asic project and resolves any issues that are present at this time. Here is a post he made last week in case you missed it: As with most projects when you deal with multiple teams/projects, sometimes the 1 team does not stay current with the schedule. The ASIC is its own project, and the developer we had hired for the exchange has been fired due to his delays (and replaced). XC has its own team and I am only assisting with it where I can, other projects have no bearing on XC.
Cache is not a P&D, we still have all the coins and never sold them as any user can check. It is part of how we will build PoBC and is in ongoing development as you can see from the cachecoin thread.
It's important to reiterate that Dan Metcalf is the lead developer and creator of XC, although I do hope Jasin makes good on his promises regarding the asic project. Also a reminder that all of these projects are independent of each other.

I certainly hope he does, but it also needs to be made clear that all of these project are independent of each other. I agree that jasin should get a chance, but this process should be quick and not take the coming weeks. in that case Dan and the rest of the team should think about a solution and a clear position. He defenatly shoudn't put it on Arlyns shoulders alone and his ability to articulate.

This +1000 The previous post is an obvious example of FUD. it has been addressed before, it has nothing to do with XC or its community, and it is presented in an extravagant way as such to disturb the calmness presented to our community. In addition, in every single post such as this, the poster always adds " it will probably be deleted because of moderated thread", to further cause uneasiness to potential readers. Its as if there's some underground textbook of FUDing. As such, I actually demand that it be moderated, because it offends our intelligence. I couldn't care less about our "short-term" presentation and the "moderated" effect on new potential investors or traders who are scared by it. XC's tech and innovation will talk for itself.

PROJECTS ARE EXTREMELY INDEPENDENT OF EACH OTHER. THIS HAS BEEN ADDRESSED.
P.S: IF YOU DIDN'T USE GIANT RED LETTERES THAT MAKE IT LOOK LIKE FUD, IT WOULD BE STILL HERE.

Regarding the issue, just read this post from Jasinlee on the thread you posted.. If we cant recover the coins from moustache then that puts me in a position to cover them myself from any future company profits. I think the likelihood of this is slim as we know who he is and where he is located now. As for the hosted mining, we will leave it up to the users once we have received them. None of the hosts are in any way associated with us, they are just volunteers.

Thanks to everyone who responded professionally, we have a great community here.
In an effort to keep the thread on track I wanted to let everyone know I've continued to contact Bter to ask that they add XC to the CNY market, along with contacting some other small/medium exchanges to ask that they add XC. Instead of a quick message I've put together a more formal request with information about XC and why they would be a great addition to any exchange. If needed (and with the blessing of the XC team), I may incorporate additional info from the OP and the official XC website to put together an even more detailed and official request that can be sent out.
After the MP attack liquidity is an issue with a lot of alts, and although its too early to have a chance at being added to the BTCe and bitfinex, I think we have a good chance at being added to most other exchanges as long as the community does its part.
I'll keep everyone updated on the responses I receive.

something else, with the new OP , has anybody thought about changing the title also. perhaps XCurrency instead of XC and pos/privacy sounds a little boring too. something like
decentralised privacy // Xchat // fully scalable
any thoughts?

The XC PR fundraiser has just begun on the XC reddit.
I have decided auction style is not ideal so The Watch Dog game codes will be sold at the price of .015 btc or 12XC a piece.
50% of all funds raised will be sent to syn to boost the PR budget.
Teka has kindly offered to arb if you feel it is needed.
Supplies are limited! No rain checks!
