Earning Coins ?
Can I currently earn Maidsafe's coins by downloading and running their software on my computer?
I ask because I have a computer currently that is not being used. If so what and where can I find what I am suppose to download.

We have many times hear that Counterparty is excellent because if BTC fail it can move to another chain.
If we think scenario where BTC will fail (i don't think it will happen) and Ethereum will come most used and best blockchain. What is Counterparties option then? As I understand when Counterparty can make everything what Ethereum can make, but in other way there is nothing what Ethereum can't make what Counterparty can?

Spells of Genesis is pitched as Magic:The Gathering: Crypto Wizard edition, but really plays like a mediocre spin off of Peggle. The idea behind a crypto trading card game is great and rather obvious (with game rules built into the protocol so cheating is impossible! imagine that!), but the execution falls rather short. It will take years before the technology matures enough for something like a proper blockchain-based MTG. On the other hand, you are rather well positioned to lead the way.

I understand right like now XCP is in same place than every other similiar projects, anyone not really use it?  What we are waiting now? Smart contracts where everyone have look, wait and hype other projects? Some of that have even bitcoin core devs push it forward and keep peoples know it is what they want? This time there is zero number of projects what don't waiting other projects smart contracts instead of have even testing XCP smart contracts in test net? So, so far I don't see really reason to worry before first side chains project are out and everyone start use their smart contracts. Or that is my hope I really don't understand so much about this all systems Thanks for devs to keep community to know what you are doing so often. Sometimes some word out can be nice from you also, we all can't read githupreposwhatevertootechinformation. I know there have also Counterparty Foundation updates but still it is nice if you write something sometimes |

I believe they mean to use Ethereum Smart Contracts, if XCP will allow for Smart Contracts they could be an option too. For the moment seems like Ethereum is the more plausible option. Ethereum and XCP smart contracts will be literally identical and 100% compatible  So no reason use XCP, case closed. Ethereum wins. yodark I am still confused with your smart contracts, that need to burn small part of XCP, right? |

Thanks for taking the time. I havent been following closely for many months and am just now refreshing my understanding. still have 80% of what I burnt originally. Still remember the impression the original dev team made on me with their very professional and straight approach. but did not follow every CP event since the end of last year. Take care.
Happy to help. The project is in much better shape now than when you were here last. When you look at who will have the best platform for smart contracts, on Bitcoin, it's Counterparty, and it's not even close. So the question to ask is "will smart contracts on the Bitcoin blockchain be a thing that gets used or not?" and if you think that yes, they will be a thing that is used, which happens to be my opinion, then simply continue to hold and ignore the noise. The rest is taking care of itself. Hold and buy more so long than can get cheap What all big projects there are building over Counterparty? I mean like who are using smart contract. I mostly know only Spell Of Genesis and Symbiont. Are there any other yet? |

Anyone know what is reason for that so rarely exchanges have took XCP for their list?
I have sent about once a month or two request to many exchanges and answer have been same last one year about like "we will look and are really interested about this coin and will maybe add it later..."
Same time there is like Cryptsy what have taking every cat, moon, weed and car coins for trading. Why not XCP?

Total XCP for sale on Poloni has decreased by almost 10% within the last week. It's going to get interesting unless some of you guys want to start dumping.  23.7 total sell orders 33106 XCP and now 27761 XCP. Price go really fast up when there coming more big buyers if big holders know value of their coins |

MaidSafe is higher valuated than all XCP projects combined, based on coinmarketcap.com. And in regards to provided usefulness at the very moment (and volume) Tether is probably worth to mention. Maidsafe are doing independent system where we don't need MSC? |

Consider that the Overstock news prompted a huge rush, while the current Symbiont developments are far more impressive and as far as I can tell, had barely any effect. I believe eventually it will be possible to pinpoint the exact time everything 'clicks' and perspectives change.
Yeah, pretty ridiculous. An online retailer gets in and there is a 4x jump. Some of the biggest people on wall street get in, nobody cares. There will be a massive jump at some point, but it could be a while. Maybe at the next funding round for Symbiont, maybe smart contracts, maybe when Symbiont opens its doors for business. What a crazy world we live in. It will rise as soon as it becomes clear that these outstanding business development achievements result in a product that requires xcp in order to be usable. That has never been made cristal clear but I don't blame the counterparty devs for it. There is some strategy behind it... But still it would be nice to see more clarity here... If XCP become someday expensive, anyone can't say it was not fair for everyone. There have been two(?) change to buy with burning price and really long with small money. Also big moneys don't have choose price.
