Can I currently earn Maidsafe's coins by downloading and running their software on my computer?

I ask because I have a computer currently that is not being used. If so what and where can I find what I am suppose to download.

No, you have to wait until Safecoin is implemented and Farming is active.

Don't think so, but crypto-specific faucets are almost obsolete now, I think. Just get any faucet and convert that into Maidsafecoin. After all, ShapeShift supports Maidsafecoin, so you should be good to go.

Maidsafe is the ICO/or test net token for distribution, safecoin will be the official token. And will be swapped by 1:1 ratio.
