For the big match between Manchester City and Liverpool I can say that I also favour Manchester City to win like most people. Liverpool are way stronger than the previous season which is a fact. But their job is still really difficult in Etihad Stadium. It has always been like that for a long time as well. While Guardiola is here and his system is working smoothly it is really difficult to beat them especially in away matches. It is the same for even Liverpool which are the second team in the standings now.
But we can at least watch a match with quite many goals. There have been many matches between them ending like that. I think both teams would score and we are likely to see at least 3 goals.
If what I'm hearing about Erling Haaland is true, being injured on International duty for Norway, Manchester City could find it very difficult to win against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium because Manchester City will be playing Liverpool without their two-point men which are Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland. I'm seeing Liverpool getting a point from Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. Man City facing Liverpool is a colossal match of interest to watch out for this weekend. Although achieving 3 points by man city is very crucial for them to remain at the top without much pressure. But I think Liverpool should not be minimized in any way because it will not be easy for Manchester City players even as they are playing at home right before their fans regarding the absence of Kevin De Bruyne. Kevin De Bruyne is a big influence and powerhouse in crucial matches of this such, so his absence against Liverpool clash is a blow to Man City's attacking force and Liverpool, with good players, could take advantage of that and outshine them this weekend. |

Good afternoon my country people.
This topic was formed from a lecture discussion where the lecturer asked the question "is Nigeria a failed project?" And it made me wonder, if we had the solutions to our problems why isn't anybody working towards making the country better?
It's no news that the country is getting way worse than it was yesterday, meanwhile people predicted it to be developed not long after it's independence. From the high illiteracy and unemployment rate to the devaluation of our currency, and the continuous corruption in the government sector. When the question was asked, of course, some students agreed that Nigeria is actually a failed project cause of the signs we see everyday. Meanwhile, some said Nigeria isn't a failed project considering the following points:
First of all, projects are of 2 kinds; the short term projects and the long term projects.
Short term projects are known as "Goals", and the way of solving short term problems or meeting a goal is through "Tactics".
Long term projects are known as " Objectives", and solution is through "Strategies".
They argued that it's possible that the solutions to Nigeria's problems are on the long run and are not solutions that'll bring up results today, but the thing is how long is this long term project going to last ?
Secondly, there's something in projects "Goal/Objectives congruence" . This refers to harmonization of goals. It's very possible that everyone is doing their work and is working towards different goals that aren't bringing forth general good fruits but individual selfish based fruits, and this is the number 1 thing you'd see in Nigeria. Hardly would you find someone who wants to work for the people, and also hardly would you find people who are ready to elect and listen to someone who's ready to help them. People have their head elsewhere. Take for example, elections, the general goal is to elect someone who would lead and help push the country upwards, but some people are focused on just getting into power, others are focused on stealing ballot boxes and making quick cash, and many others. So, in order for things to go smoothly while working on goals, one would have to synchronize the focus of everybody's individual want, harmonizing them in order to get general gains.
Thirdly, there may be visions, projects, objectives etc for the country, but poor strategies and tactics are used in meeting them, making it therefore slow, poor and inefficient. Again, I'd like to add that Nigeria may be working on old rules while alot of other countries are working on and implementing new and innovative ideas for their economic development. Take for example, the fact that many countries have accepted Bitcoin and are using it, while a few have even made it their legal tender, taking them further and further into the future. While in our country, only a few have Investments in Bitcoin, only a little above those few own Bitcoins, while after adding a little more percentage of Nigerians, you would now have the number of people that have heard of it. This is quite backwards.
Some of Nigeria's economic plans that may be seen as failed projects include; The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), The National Economic Empowerment Development Strategy (NEEDS), The Vision 20:2020.
In conclusion, I'm going to be throwing the question to the public. In your opinion is Nigeria and failed project ? And reasons why you picked yes or no.

This question, " Is Nigeria a failed project” is a good and significant question to ask considering the level of hardship, bad economy, high cost of living and high devaluation of the Naira which have befallen our country Nigeria. Our country is in this mess because of the selfish and greedy politicians we have occupying all the public offices without human sympathy and consideration. This country will continue to be a failed project if we still have these groups of evil men running the system. They are aware of the tactics and strategies that will improve and better our system, but they don't care because they are not affected by this mess. Doing the same thing several times will always yield the same result. |

Before the match started I already knew that Chelsea players will try to prove a point, they will try to play all they can, because it's a big game and everybody is watching, so they wouldn't want to let down their guards. so I believe if not for the resistance of Arsenal, Chelsea will have gone away with the day. But for them to continue with this consistency is what I'm not sure of, because I haven't seen that spirit of consistent winning in them lately they've been struggling very hard, even a draw against arsenal sounds like winning for Chelsea fans.
Chelsea super impressed me with the last match with Arsenal. I didn't expect that strength from Chelsea. My early predictions were not wrong to think that Arsenal will beat Chelsea blue and black but that was not the case. It was a case of tight and slight draws. I liked the match honestly because it was a tough one and shows how Chelsea has continued to show it's courage to push forward. Now Chelsea have 12 points and at 10th position of the table standing. Nos Chelsea needs like 5 to 6 matches all win games before they can top the table unlike as Arsenal. They need to increase their squad depth too to maintain the efforts they are putting in so far. Sincerely speaking Chelsea had a good game, is not only you that is impressed, I myself am impressed as well, because they made the match competitive and tough as well. no one really saw the outcome coming, a lot of people believe Arsenal will go for the jugular (direct win), but then considering how tough the game was, a draw is fair enough for both sides. Chelsea turned up with a massive surprise in their brilliant play tactics right before their fans at Stanford Bridge, which would have given Arsenal the shock they never expected if not for the late goal scored by Leandro Trossard around the 84th minute to level things up for Arsenal. Chelsea's attack was fantastic and direct with a scoring mentality. The defense was not in good conduct and the goalkeeper was not at his best and was able to make only one save. The coach should pay more attention to these aspects, which will help them to build a stronger team. |

It is no longer news in this country concerning the present economic situation which has affected every sector, especially the cost of living and survival race with limited sources of income, especially for the common masses targeted at the youths. This situation has driven some youths into deep thinking, frustration, depression, loss of hope, different negative lifestyles, negative attitudes and actions etc. Most of them are down with mental illness which has developed into insanity. This condition of insanity has taken a toll, evident in the rising number of insane people found almost on every street in the country and in psychiatric homes.
After going through some observations and considerations, l pinpoint that;
“ A quick way of making money” and
“High intake of hard and cheap drugs” contributes more to the issue of insanity regarding the present bad economy that has befallen this country. Some commit abominable deeds like having repeated sexual acts with their parents and immediate families, shading human blood and living on hard and cheap drugs that are not to be taken which could result in insanity.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Politicians say no to selfishness, inequality and greed in public offices or appointments.
The government developing an enabling ground for its citizens by empowering them and creating good relationships with investors to reduce unemployment.
Running away from hard and cheap drugs.
Having patience, persistence, and determination towards your pursuits and hard work.
Appreciate yourself for the little you have and strategize for more.
Going closer to God for his intervention.
Have friends who create and add a good impact on you.

Newcastle played very well against Crystal Palace. They demolished and humiliated Crystal Palace with their fine play and quick attacking forces. Statistics also reviewed Newcastle's dominance in every field of play. I think every other club in the Premier League should be wary of their rapid form this season. The head coach is doing a nice job with the players and has transformed them into a better club.

Arsenal passed their test against Manchester city although many people say Manchester were without key players like Rodry and Kevin but Arsenal themselves where without Saka and Martinelli was just coming back from injury so they definitely had to work hard for what they got.
Now Arsenal faces Chelsea who also has been coming back in form, I don't think it would be easy for Arsenal because Chelsea has now woken up and I think they have been playing well lately. Although if I was to bet on this my money would be on Arsenal.
I can't wait to see how they play against Chelsea. Arsenal is playing well this year and managed to get 3 points from critical matches. Chelsea, on the other hand, still could not reach the expected performance. When we look at the statistics, it is possible to say that Arsenal will win this match. I think the best option to bet on is Arsenal, I'm sure we will watch a good match  Considering Chelsea match against Arsenal this weekend, it can easily be predicted as a sure win for Arsenal because of their good form. On the other hand, Chelsea as a team has not been at their best since the start of this season. They are not in the Champions League and they have their strength and focus generally in the premier league hoping to finish at least the top four in the table. Arsenal have a Champions League match to play on Tuesday against Sevilla. They lost to Lens in their last match. They will not like to lose this one against Sevilla. Based on this, Arsenal may have some changes in their first eleven against Chelsea because of their Champions League match so Chelsea should not be completely written off this weekend. The aspect wey hit my heart be say this issue no go come up from the onset na when them don finish election, announced the winner and the so claimed winner go assumed office for weeks and months before the matter go arise. This kind thing dey happen for other countries de wey e dey happen for Nigeria at all.
The past President Muhammadu Buhari experienced the issue and currently Bola Ahmed Tinubu dey inside the matter now. I think na prank these people dey do because last last them go manoeuvre the situation and e no go hold water.
Why is it so in Nigeria?

As content creation gains popularity and people start making it big from YouTube/ Facebook monetization, content creators are becoming increasingly desperate and are willing to do any content to gain followers.
Pranking people on the street has become a common order with no consideration of the victim's emotional/psychological state of mind.
While we watch these videos and enjoy the entertainment part of it, some of the people pranked are left emotionally drained, some relationship/ couples trust has broken because they were pranked to check there faithfulness to each other and some people have lost so much useful information from there phone because a popular prankster smatched it on the ground and gives the victim a new one, not considering some important information in the phone that might be lost in the process.
Of course, some of these guys have landed themselves in trouble because they pranked the wrong person but others are yet to learn there lessons.
Entertainment is not bad, as a matter of fact I enjoy watching them alot but when you ridicule or take advantage of the ignorance of others just to create your content, it becomes a problem.
Disclosure of one's privacy to the public in the name of entertainment or prank is very wrong and unacceptable. On the other hand, concerning broken marriages, relationships and friendships I think the victims are responsible for their break-ups because they promote these content creators or pranksters by inviting them to prank their partners knowing fully that the pranksters will post the video to the public to gain followers, likes and for the video to be shared which is the primary target of every prankster. What baffles me a lot is that others do not want to learn from these victims rather they would like to be involved in the same issue and the end they will look for whom to blame. These victims should take responsibility for their actions since they want to learn the hard way. |

Manchester City without Kelvin De Bruyne and Rodri is an overhyped team. The absence of both players have had a negative impact on the team’s performance in the last three games including defeat to Arsenal this weekend which is the most recent lose they have conceded. Gabriel Martinelli’s goal was enough to give Arsenal a win. Arsenal will treasure this win, the team have worked hard to come this far, good work to Mikel Arteta, trusting the process is finally paying off.
Wow, I didn't see this crucial winning coming through for Arsenal. It was indeed a shock to Man City players that Arsenal could beat them a second time after winning them on community shield through a penalty shootout. Arsenal players were able to absorb the pressure from Man City and the late goal put in by Gabriel Martinelli saw the gunners in flying colours over Man City. Good job! |

Newcastle seems to be showing aggressive play again after winning a big win over PSG in the UCL. In my opinion, you are right that with this victory the Newcastle players have become more confident. Against Westham there shouldn't be any big problems and with Newcastle's current playing composition, they can still win. Newcastle will continue to be considered for its presence in the Premier League and in my opinion clubs like Arsenal also have to be aware of Newcastle presence. Apart from that, Liverpool will face Brighton, and of course for Klopp, the opportunity is wide open to extend the winning trend. In fact, it will be easy for Liverpool to secure tickets again next season. If they manage to get points in this match, Liverpool will replace Arsenal and Manchester City in the current standings. Newcastle's players were excellent in their performance against PSG in the champion league, which gave them a gigantic win. If they can repeat the same thing today against West Ham United, no doubt they will get the same result. Liverpool today's clash with Brighton may be a sure win for them, although we cannot write off Brighton completely. Raheem Sterling has win a penalty for the blues on the third minutes of the second half. Sterling has been very active since the beginning of this season. Palmer has scored an excellent goal as this is the first premier league goal and his first goal for Chelsea. What a wonderful moment for Chelsea as they came from one goal down to take the lead. Chelsea is putting in a lot of performance this second half and there is no doubt that the blues has secured all three points against Burnley.

Chelsea and Liverpool have changed a lot this season, with the entry and exit of players making the first game a bit needing adaptation in the league, and a draw in the first game is a fair result for both teams, maybe with the next few matches we will see that the two teams will be more solid and shows the true quality of this team, and I believe in the second meeting in the league there will be a winner and judging from the first game I see Liverpool will be slightly above Chelsea at the end of the season
Chelsea and Liverpool are English giants, both of them will always find a quick way to improve their appearance. Because the process of becoming an ideal squad takes time, for Liverpool and Chelsea this is commonplace. This season with new players and Liverpool trying to patch the midfield position will be maximized properly. The current Chelsea coach is clearly different in quality even though in the transfer window it is considered wasteful because it costs a very large amount. But we can see the results at the end, at least for the first season Pochettino finished in the top 5 is already a good development. Liverpool have shown their determination going into the season with the introduction of new players and efforts to overcome problems in midfield. This move clearly shows their commitment to maximizing the team's potential and trying to return to their best performance. Meanwhile, Chelsea also showed superior quality in managing the team. Even though there is an opinion that spending big on the transfer market can be said to be very wasteful, it is very important to design a strategy so that it can be even better in the future. So it's really interesting to see how Chelsea and Liverpool continue to develop and have a season full of potential. I agree with you.
