What are you thinking about adding Whitecoin to Blocknet? I don't know that much about Blocknet, but I saw, that they are discussing to add Craigscoin to the Blocknet. I'm really busy at the moment, but if someone has some knowledge about blocknet, maybe he can tell us, what are the admission points to be added to blocknet and we can discuss here, if this is useful for whitecoin Here is the link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829576.msg9521508#msg9521508Thanks Banger Hi Banger, I have personally reached out to Dan to discuss how Whitecoin could potentially work with Blocknet however at this point, I am waiting to hear back from Dan in regards to a date for a personal phone call with him where we can discuss in detail the potential of WC - Blocknet. I do understand Blocknet and the potential that Whitecoin, DandyID etc. etc. could well benefit the ecosystem they are building and WC as a whole. So, nothing as of yet but its still early so you never know! Hope this helps! ~ Jason

Its been a great couple of months working with the team here at Whitecoin and throughout this time I have had the privilege of meeting with some really great individuals that share common goals and beliefs between each other as it relates to CryptoCurrency, values and goals. With this being said, there have been many questions and PM’s from the community that would like to have more information on where we are going and the current status on some of the members of the community, so I am taking this opportunity to provide the community with an update regarding these & other questions, concerns & ideas that you have asked about:
WCF Acting President – Mogonzo - Replacement:
Many of you know that Chris (Mogonzo) originally came to Whitecoin as the acting President of the WCF and accomplished some awesome things for the community. As shared in previous posts, Chris has been battling many personal issues over the summer/fall such as his Grandparents illnesses in addition to most recently being in a car accident. We have been supportive of his personal life throughout these trying times however it has come to a place where Whitecoin Community Stakeholders and current WCF acting members, have talked long and hard about the replacement of Mogonzo as acting President…
In order continue the forward momentum of Whitecoin, its developments, community growth and fostering enhancements through partnerships the WCF has concluded that we will continue to support Chris with a Board At Large Position for the WCF where he can focus on any governmental / political items that may affect not only Cryptocurrency but Whitecoin more specifically however we will be making a replacement of the role as President and to this end, it has been decided that for the interim, myself (Jason Arnold) will step up to the acting role as the WCF Interim President until such a time that we the community has a suitable candidate or a formalized voting process takes place to fill this and other roles within the WCF.
A few reasons why I was selected for the interim position of President:
1. Shair.com is directly invested in Whitecoin ( happily staking WC)
- Shair.com has and continues to develop technologies that make use of the Whitecoin blockchain are currently in the process of rolling out the Alpha Version of personal verification through DandyID
i. In the future, this feature will be rolled out to the Whitecoin Wallet, thereby integrating the DandyID service for KUT (Known User Transactions) into Whitecoin for all to utilize
2. My background in Technology, Startups through to the successful IPO of companies is looked upon as an asset by the WCF
3. I currently hold other positions with NPOs (President & Government Funding roles) and can bring this experience to Whitecoin
4. I have always maintained a focus on Community to drive the adoption, utilization and value for all parties involved
For example: Shair.com has invested in Whitecoin and Stakes 100% of its holdings with no market sells, it continues to invest through various means, thereby increasing its position within Whitecoin.
I am super excited to help facilitate the growth of Whitecoin and the utilization of the underlying ingenious technology of the Blockchain. This is only the beginning of a technology with a massive impact both personally and professionally worldwide.
Development:
As Crypto development is beginning to cross over into Commercial Businesses (such as Claimio, DandyID, CryptoCopyright) Shair.com has discussed with WCF members about spearheading development for Whitecoin (as required). Of course Whitecoin is Open Source which ensures transparency, collaboration and community development, but Shair.com will utilize its development resources for future developments as it relates to the Whitecoin Wallet.
Example: o KUT integration into Whitecoin would be driven by Shair.com, with bounties being made available first (1s)t to the community and second (2nd) to Shair.com
o Developers are in house or outsourced by Shair.com for the same bounty as it relates to the development item, funded through donations by the Community.
With this being said, this means that there the “head developer” would in essence be under the supervision of Shair.com to ensure development timelines and integrations would be reached, within a reasonable time period, while on budget.
Please remember that Shair.com is volunteering its development resources as required and as directed by the community through fundraising and bounties, to complete any wallet related developments directives from the Community.
We will be working towards creating a clear timeline of the proposed developments with our core focus on KUT upon completion of the Alpha centralized testing of KUT with DandyID.
• Upon completion of this testing, we will then move towards the next phase of integration with Whitecoin. • Dependent upon the Alpha testing results, additional developments or fixes, these will determine the timeline for integration completion within Whitecoin. • We are expecting to have our results and feedback available within the next couple of weeks.
If you have questions, ideas or would like to participate with Whitecoin for development, marketing, promotions, graphics or your specialty, feel free to contact us in IRC, Forum or the Whitecoin.info website, we are around 24/7 to help make Whitecoin a success for its community!

Greetings! What a great couple of months for Whitecoin but we believe that this is only the beginning of the communities hard work, dedication and commitment to Whitecoin, its investors, partners and cryptocurrency in general. Over the past several months we have seen some great leading indicators of how healthy Whitecoin is. We look at such indicators like how much the community has grown, movement of the market cap, exchange volumes and in addition, new investor demand for Whitecoin all of which are in a very steady upward trend. You can see from our growing list of developments that we are positioned to grow Whitecoin to new heights but before I get into this, I first wanted to acknowledge that none of this could have been possible without YOU the community, rallying behind Whitecoin and all we stand for. We all thank each of you for believing in the team, to not only resurrect Whitecoin but to see it explode back into the spotlight, showing the world that Whitecoin has not only tested the boundaries of the bottom but has risen and been revived beyond many people’s expectations, promoting and attracting growth through community & partner innovation, not simply another P&D. I have been asked by the community to provide a quick update as to the forward moving progress we are making within the Whitecoin community. With David (Surfguy) being between moving and getting settled, we arranged a meeting of the WCF yesterday where we discussed recent developments, team additions and core marketing touch points. To ensure my pledge of openness and transparency, I have summarized the key items and their updates accordingly: Public Notary Service: Cryptocopyright.com ( http://cryptocopyright.com) This has been fully deployed and is in public beta. This service is currently being utilized primary for text documentation such as articles and publications. As demand increases for this service, Shair.com will be releasing its File Upload functionality so that you can have your pictures, documents and images ownership rights assigned via the Whitecoin Network. This service provides a number of benefits to the Whitecoin Community – currently there is no fee for this service, every time a document goes through the CCR process, there are transaction fees which occur in addition to Whitecoins which are destroyed. As this is a cool deployment with future very positive implications for Whitecoin, more detailed information will become available over the coming weeks. Whitecoin Community Initiated Developments: 1. WhiteOS Did you know that WhiteOS isn’t just a secure operating system for Whitecoin but, it can be used for any Cryptocurrency Wallet? Simple by design, it will come ready built with Whitecoin ready to go from all aspects such as Exchange Links, the Whitecoin website, Forum, Documentation and of course the Whitecoin Wallet, however it can also be used to secure any Linux wallet which means that it has a much broader appeal to anyone whom wants to have a secure USB enabled OS with Privacy enabled by default. Nearing completion of the internal testing phase, we are now moving in to private invite testing, aiming for end of week, early into next for the private invite, community testing phase. If you are interested in participating, Oizopower has already made an announcement regarding WhiteOS letting everyone know the process by which you might gain early access. a. There has been no bounty set aside for this development therefore if you like what you see and love the work we are doing, you can make a contribution to Oizopower directly at WPTThUxWVSnvrRivH4epkkGGX1JQvd74pf Once again, here is a sneak video looking into the functionality of WhiteOS http://youtu.be/r-VKKXgIKjg2. Smart Contracts I have further discussed this potential development with Shair as it does align with their vision of Identity/Reputation and Smart Contract initiatives, combined together, this could be very powerful for the Whitecoin community. Currently this is only under discussion internally however, this development could follow the Known User Transactions or act as a decentralized solution… more discussions will need to take place on this subject. The WCF will be providing the community with open communication points especially where consensus would be required prior to kick starting this project especially if any WCF funds would be required for development. If this development would be of interest to integrate moving forward and you would like to support this development, here is the donation address: WgMvUeu6vf7vFb1PVGmnfD6tvyFqSh7oWC – Current Balance: 74,106 WC 3. Reduce Confirmation Times WCF Technical team has reviewed how best to implement the proposed reduced confirmation times for staking, currently confirmation times for staking coins is at approx. 340 confirmations. As many of the community has already voiced its opinion on reducing these times, the WCF will utilize the bounty collected at WUET4WgYwz4HLx54faKYyRWMNbfa6K5gjj with a balance of 367,196 WC, to modify the code so that staking coins will only require 30 confirmations. What this will accomplish is speeding up our staking times making it over 10X faster than it is today! The only “downfall” which doesn’t present much risk is that Whitecoin will require a fork which means that all exchanges, block explorers, partners and wallets will have a mandatory update. Prior to any release, we would ensure that our partners (exchanges, Shair etc.) have all been coordinated for this fork, to minimize any down time for services that are dependent upon Whitecoin. As we have a standing bounty value of 367,196 WC, therefore we are prepared to begin development (with payment to WC Development Team upon successful deployment of code into production), next week where we will be providing updates to the community as the development progresses through its various development stages. 4. Built in Voting App To ensure fairness with future voting for new developments, elections of WCF officials and other cool decision making processes that Whitecoin will need to make as a transparent community driven Crypto, this is an important function that we could develop in conjunction with Oizopowers Logo Voting System however it will take some fairly significant development efforts. If you remember the voting system Oizopower created when the community was defining its logo via the community voting process, I have discussed this with Oizopower whereas we could build a system which could then tie directly into DandyID via API, or act as a semi decentralized standalone system, where WCF could manage the items to be voted on with/without KUT by the community of Whitecoin enabling a truly democratic process of voting thereby making Whitecoin one of the largest Cryptocurrencies where all members have a voice in the future of their crypto. If you would like to contribute to this development, you can make your donation to: WSYDAdSrx23BpC6MjBJ2pdWvfkVjYu6tEB – current balance 104,216 WC 5. Known User Transactions Shair.com has allocated resources for the implementation of KUT within DandyID, utilizing Claim.io and Whitecoin at its core. This has been outlined in the whitepaper which can be reviewed here: http://shair.com/uploads/shair_id_plat_wc.pdf which is a high level overview of the process by which it will come to life. Currently Shair is in the final stages of resource planning for their internal development with meetings taking place for detailed wallet discussions with the WCF Technical Team, a further update will be provided upon finalizing team members understanding that the bounty collected at this wallet address: WQ2daSMKv7qBsgxJTBeSwKfTLoVDYsBZEr will be utilized as a bounty for successful development once production of the Whitecoin Wallet was to be released fully supporting KUT. Expect an update from Shair as to its progress upon completion of their resource planning which will provide the team and Whitecoin with an estimated timeline for testing purposes. If you would like to donate to this development (final bounty will be announced later), you can do so here: WQ2daSMKv7qBsgxJTBeSwKfTLoVDYsBZEr – the current balance is: 1,085,642 WC General Discussions BCT-Auto Moderation: It has been agreed upon by the WCF that our ANN become auto moderated, therefore as you can now see, this function will be set to ON to ensure quality information, feedback, dialogue and conversations can take place without disruption of FUD based comments. This will help us better communicate to the community of Whitecoin that use this forum with a clearer line of open communications. If you are doing research, want to verify facts, stay up to date with news, information and updates, the official Whitecoin Website is located at http://whitecoin.info which as a newsletter that we send out to subscribers approximately once each week. New members to WCF: Malbee! We as a team our proud to tell you that Malbee, a long-time supporter, and active contributor will be joining the team in a more official capacity. With SurfGuy going through his move, but still staying heavily involved and contributing, the team agreed to bolster the Public Relations side of our team to ensure that YOU, the community are getting the answers and communication needed to drive WhiteCoin into a premiere coin within cryptocurrency. "I am excited with Malbee joining the team! He's a fellow FUD-buster, community supporter and over all a great guy. His addition to the team, will ensure that our community is always in touch with the operations and development side of the coin as much as possible, and keep the communication alive within the community. I look forward to working with him more and integrating him into the WCF! Please feel free to contact me or him with any interest in joining the team! Surf's up!" - Surfguy * If you are interested in becoming part of the team, simply come visit us in IRC #whitecoinfoundation and let us know how you can assist (Marketing, PR, Development, Reddit, Twitter etc.) of contact us through the official Whitecoin and Whitecoin foundation website at: http://whitecoin.info* If you are a business and would like to discuss how Whitecoin can assist you in your projects, please contact us via the official Whitecoin and Whitecoin foundation website at: http://whitecoin.infoOver the coming weeks we will continue to solicit feedback from the community, partners and investors on the above items, provide feedback and updates to ensure everyone is kept up to speed on our advancements. We are looking forward to carrying our momentum gaining not only new members to the WCF team but fostering the growth of our community, enhancing the value for Whitecoin through developments, innovation and partnerships. Hi everyone, I am pleased to provide the community with the initial draft of the Shair.com's Identity Services Platform I believe that this will not only encapsulate the previously discussed idea about Known User Transactions but it will be much less complex to develop, leverage existing resources and provide a tremendous value to all current and future Whitecoin owners. You can read the whitepaper here - http://shair.com/uploads/shair_id_plat_wc.pdf which outlines at a high level, the companies, services, key attributes of those involved, some of the processes, developments and design requirements. Looking forward to delivering this service to not only current Whitecoin owners but once completed, introducing these services to all our existing and future clients with direct access to Whitecoin, Dandy ID Name Registration, Management and Identity Services. Best Regards, Jason Arnold COO Shair.com

Hi Everyone, Very exciting week we have had, here is a partial list for those of you who just arrived here: - WhiteOS - Under Development - Alpha Stage - Surprise! - CryptoCopyright - Beta to be released next week - Powered and Protected by Whitecoin - Press will occur via our media outlets promoting the free retail service beta. Each release will include Whitecoin and information on how to join the community/what Whitecoin is about. - Tee's - Another community driven development by grv, shows that if you have an entreprenurial drive, you too can make products/services using Whitecoin. Lets all continue to message Spreadshirt to encourage them to connect with Casheer to accept Whitecoin - @spreadshirt @CasheerApp - Casheer http://casheer.net- Supporting Whitecoin as a payment Currency - Once Casheer has completed support for Whitecoin, Shair has already committed to integrating this into their online properties thereby becoming one of the 1st merchants to accept WC as a form of payment. - Moohlah https://twitter.com/moolah_io- our volume and community support speaks loudly, there are guidelines that we are reviewing and will comply with any items (such as code review) that may be required for listing. Keep up the volumes and messaging to them that Whitecoin is here to stay (and only getting stronger). ** We reached #3 on Mintpal's 24hr volume at least 1 or 2 times when I was checking** --> It must be noted that we have accomplished so much over the past 4 weeks as a Coinmunity, not because of a single "figure head" - we the community run Whitecoin, not a single figurehead (Mogonzo). With this being said, today Chris still holds the President position and is looking after IRL items but lest we forget the others involved in WCF such as Oizopower, Mindfox, Surfguy and myself... we currently hold WCF positions and communicate throughout each day about important issues and items as it relates to Whitecoin, Partnerships, Developments and new ideas. I have been in communication with Chris (Mogonzo) over the past week (he has been IRL very busy) and we are having a call later today or sometime on Monday to catch up and discuss his IRL items/commitments, participation with WCF moving forward, I will also be speaking with him regarding the status of Chunky and its move forward plans. Once I have spoken with Chris, I will be certain to provide the community with an update unless Chris will be in the position to provide one himself regarding these items. I couldn't be happier with the forward progress that Whitecoin has made since my joining, our community is what drives our innovation, processes, accountability and transparency. For these (and other reasons), Shair is confident in the investment made to-date and continues to support Whitecoin in its businesses, investment and further development efforts. Again, its the community that drives Whitecoin and I for one am proud to be a community, partner and foundation member to help grow and foster Whitecoin to its full potential. Time to get back to my family for today, will provide more updates as I can! ~ Jason Arnold COO - Shair.com VP - Whitecoin Foundation

to jarnold:
Hi there,
it looks rly interesting what you wrote but I have also a question:
* 60% distributed to 3 participants (this may be extended to more than this amount, still to be completely determined by our PoS minin algo) based upon an algorithm we would deploy - 60% #1, 25% #2, 15% #3 (the amounts of payouts is used as an example)
Why only 3 participants? Its like a game - if you win you have 60, 25 or 15%, you lose you have nothing from "your part of staking"? Shouldnt be better to spread it out between all the ppl interested in this and "gave you" 150, 300, 450 k...?
If there will be not 10 but 100 participants, you have high possibility to take nothing for months/years...
Maybe i understand that wrong?
Thanks
TW0R
Thanks for all the great questions, I have added these questions below with our reply: > You mention "social exchange", does this mean that you would be interested in furthering this type of development with a direct integration into the wallet? Can you let us know anything on this?--> This is something we have been considering and are considering a direct integtration into the wallet provided security, costs and development efforts warrant > Does this negate the "Known User Transaction" discussions or is this in addition to this?--> Not a chance, this is in addition to KUT! > When you say "#1, #2, #3 spots" are you only going to payout to three spots? If not, how many?--> This was an example, we are looking for community feedback for this aspect of payout > 30days to become eligible, what happens if my WC deposit has been made in between your payouts, how long would I have to wait (or is this still a discussion point)?--> If your deposit is made between payout periods, you would need to wait until you reach eligibility therefore once you reach 30days, you would be eligible for the next payout period > Why only 3 participants? Its like a game - if you win you have 60, 25 or 15%, you lose you have nothing from "your part of staking"? Shouldnt be better to spread it out between all the ppl interested in this and "gave you" 150, 300, 450 k...?--> It can be this way where equally the staking is shared, thought it would be fun to allot more based upon an algo with less receiving however, it does simplify things if everyone gets payout accordingly > If there will be not 10 but 100 participants, you have high possibility to take nothing for months/years...--> No, we would make it so that the number of payouts would be allocated to every participant over x period of time with a maximum period to receive, your suggestion of equal payouts based upon the number of participants is much easier to do, just not as large a payout opportunity exists if done this way. Any other questions/feedback just let us know so that we can determine if the community would like to participate in the PoS mining pool, allow access to WC from outside of crypto, cold storage service in addition to keeping WC out of the hands of the manipulators!

Our big problem is a lack of trust among investors and traders (that is, anyone fears to be dumped by others). We have to solve it. I propose to build up a mailing list of investors. To subscribe, one have to declare an address (or multiple ones) with a minimum number of coins in total (ie 1m). The system can validate the address(es) by asking to move a random number of coin between 0 and 1 to a donation address in a specific time frame. The subscription is valid until the coins remain untouched in the declared address(es). Each member can freely talk with others in order to build up confidence. Declared addresses, number of members and so on can be publicly available (something like http://www.richlist.eu/whitecoin). Without a minimum of confidence among "big" investors we don't go anywhere. What do you think? Would we accomplish the same thing if we (community members, large holders) identified ourselves on the richlist? Several people already have like Banger and Surfguy... Identifying yourself on the richlist does not give you any warranty this people arent going to sell some or all of the coins they own. That is the point of a mailing list: talk with other investors with a certain level of privacy to build trust. Richlist says nothing about the investors' intentions, actually it says nothing about how one person is rich (one can use multiple addresses as I do). I'm open to hear different ideas and opinions. Thanks. Hi everyone! First the wallet looks awesome, great job to the Whitecoin Developers! Second, Shair.com would like to propose a service that we believe will accomplish the above (and more): --> Shair.com PoS Mining Pool 1. We would seed the initial PoS mining pool with +8M WC which would add to the overall stake available for shairing 2. Anyone can join however there would be a minimum WC deposit required of 150,000 WC 3. For all whom participate, there is a minimum hold period of 4 weeks from initial deposit to become eligible for shair in the staking amount 4. Staking coins would be distributed every 2 weeks or perhaps a monthly basis (this is still under discussion) 5. The Staking amount/distribution proposed could be as follows: * 20% donated to WCF * 20% retained by Shair + reinvested for increased overall amount available to stake * 60% distributed to 3 participants (this may be extended to more than this amount, still to be completely determined by our PoS minin algo) based upon an algorithm we would deploy - 60% #1, 25% #2, 15% #3 (the amounts of payouts is used as an example) [EDIT] Example: if you were to stake 150,000 WC = 2% = 3000 WC if you were to stake 8M + WC = 2% = 160,000 WC which 60% (96,000) would be paid out to participants If you were to stake 20M+ WC = 2% = 400,000 WC which 60% (240,000) would be paid out to participants ==> the amount to be paid out, will be determined by the eligible participants ==> There would also be a steady donation stream to WCF for operations and development Therefore, if you had 150k WC the max you could realize would be approx 3000WC but if you participated in the PoS mining pool, you would realize much more than that (as above) NOTE: any deposit of 150k+ would be eligible, therefore if you had multiple deposits, in theory you could secure #1, #2 and #3 spot in the same payout period. Additionally, we could facilitate the purchase "Shairs" through our systems (shairs due to B-c31) which could then be exchanged for WC: Purchase "shairs", exchange it to WC - manually send to your address. There would be a fee for this service however we have recently cleared a process with our lawyers which could accommodate this type of process (with refinement required).... So whats currently on the table by Shair as it relates to the above discussions: 1. Shair.com PoS mining pool with payout structure to participants + donation % to WCF development fund 2. Ability to facilitate the purchase of WC through shair's (purchasing shairs is allowed by law, WC not as it would go against B C 31), which can then be converted to WC with a small transaction % Shair would be foregoing 80% of its staking on 8M +WC, therefore you could consider this not only a donation to the WCF but a contribution back to participating community members of Whitecoin! We are ready to have a final review/modifications by our lawyers prior to beginning developing this system however you need to show us that you want us to invest our WC, Development and Energies in making this process! PS - this is to help the community, WCF and assist in increasing incentive's for people to stake WC (the payout to be more than if they were to stake their own WC.) Jason Arnold COO Shair.com VP WCF EDIT - adding questions/clarifications from PM's received 1. Can you clarify how the PoS will work? * Shair would be providing over 8 Million Whitecoins in a staking wallet and will be awarding up to 80% for a minimum of the next 4 months of the staked Whitecoin. All participants deposited Whitecoin would be added to this amount which will increase the total amount and the amount of staking Whitecoin available therefore instead of paying interest to shairholders, this is combined for a total payout at the appropriate times. For example: 10 participants = 1,500,000 Whitecoin Shair initial amount = 8M+ Whitecoin Total amount eligible to stake (total wallet amount) 9,500,000 WC Staking amount = total wallet staking amount between payout periods 2. Why do you mention shairs? *shairs is a virtual means of exchange for social sharing in our social exchange, these can be purchased for use in our social exchange, therefore we could offer these for purchase which then could be exchanged for Whitecoin. This would then be offered to people outside of the current crytposphere introducing Whitecoin to them. We would revamp this process so that 1 shair = 150k WC, therefore new users could purchase this amount, we would hold the WC for them and they would also become eligible for staking after the eligibility time had passed. 3. So you would hold Whitecoin, when could we get them back? * you could request withdraw of your Whitecoin at any time, if you withdrew your Whitecoin before they became eligible, you would not be eligible for the payout period that you withdrew your Whitecoin. 4. Sounds like a cold storage service as well? * you bet, we would be storing the deposited Whitecoin offline/in a backed up wallet. All deposits, payouts and withdraws would be manually processed. 5. so you mean that during this time, I wouldn't receive any staking? *Correct, staking of any deposits goes into the main PoS pool for payout based upon an algorythm much like a traditional mining pool. 6. Would you be guaranteeing payout? * all staked WC from the Shair.com wallet (8m+) would be paid out for the specified time period(s). 20% of this staked WC would be held for shair.com and reinvested, 20% would be donated to WCF, 60% would be paid out to participating members. 7. How do you become eligible for payout of the PoS mining staked amount? * you will need to have deposited a minimum of 150k WC to our wallet address, 30 days maturity will need to happen (we hold the WC for 30 days) upon day 31, you would then become eligible for payout. ==> hope these answers help to clarify the proposal for you all

mogonzo? mindfox ? who else is part of the foundation? where are these people?
For example at IRC. Channels: #whitecoinfoundation, #wc-pr, #wc-dev mindfox is there most of a day mogonzo was there also everyday, maybe he have vacation now Oizopower is there everyday Many of us have families and irl work, vacation is needed... +1 You can also find surfguy on IRC and here nearly every day and I'm sure, he answers every question Cryptoseo is also a member of the foundation and can be found in IRC: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#whitecoinfoundationIf you can find nobody of the people above, then you can ask me, if you have an urgent question Banger Hey guys, I don't come here often but you can always PM me, or get in touch with one of the other members to drop me a message, I think that Cryptoseo is back today from holiday, Mogonzo next week, Surf always online, Oizo is back from holiday, dev team members growing... looking really, really nice I have been chatting with the dev team about the many developments on the table, in addition to the Shair.com developments (one which was changed due to legal restrictions) and we are all on the same page & getting stronger by the week! We agree that TOR can simply be instructions on how to use your wallet via TOR, no need to complicate things and have it built into the wallet, that way, all users are free to use with TOR, this will be included in our updated wallet release. Things are starting to heat up, lots getting done, great technical discussions on the proposed developments, strong community, awesome entry point pricing for new people that want to join WC, more WC for your mining power and so much more. ~ Jason

someone is trying really hard to suck up last of the remaining coins on mintpal i might buy the whole thing just to piss someone off but i'd prefer coins spread out in the hands of many people instead of few I would say someone that lacks the understanding of how trading works. Crashing the buy wall only allows them to take a loss and it doesn't mean there are cheap coins to be had because people are not selling. Let this clown go ahead and keep buying and selling to themselves with the big walls trying to force more low selling and we'll work on the coin. I do like you are staying with the coin, however, don't get me wrong. But a couple BTC is chump change in the grand scheme of things. The clown may want to think about that, as he may be sitting on sidelines without the precious soon. Agreed!

Hello!
Below is the list I pulled together based on previous posts. With each idea is a WC address. Future coin addresses will be added to allow other coins to be donated as well. The funds donated can be returned at this point should an idea evolve to the point where you no longer support it. Refunds will only be sent to the address from which the coins were sent. As more information comes forth from the Dev team and/or other DEVS I will update you. I have backed up the wallet for these addresses and is password protected. I will work transparently with you before releasing funds to anyone and will give 48 hrs notice before any transfer. Refunds will only be for the original amount, the interest earned would be fwd to the WCF.

Update 8/12/14Hello! I took a day off yesterday making it a long weekend. Below are our totals as of right now. Still seeing small donations being made which is AWESOME! I've been in loose contact with the team all weekend. I misspoke earlier, not everyone is back from vacation, but we do have a few getting back into the groove (like myself right now.) I enjoy seeing some of the new faces, and additional conversations on potential WhiteCoin features. We must consider all angles on new features as we don't want to see anyone get burned or tarnish the community we've built thus far. I'm in catch-up mode right now, actually late to a meeting as I type this. I'll be popping in and out of IRC all day, and will be contributing on here as I get caught up IRL today. WCF Wallet - WdPskLzGkjXkSns3BgkRF5fW5SveTBS7tR - 726,795 WC Developments in descending order of amount raised:7. Known User Transactions - 490,666 WC 4. Reduce Confirmation Times - 366,500 WC 2. Privacy - 112,657 WC 5. Built in Voting - 100,000 WC 3. Smart Contract - 54,000 WC TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED: 1,123,823 WC!TOTAL AMOUNT FOR WhiteCoin DEVELOPMENT: 1,850,618 WC!All awesome stuff here, great opportunities for some excellent developments that apply to IRL businesses Some updates: --> Mogonzo has had some personal challenges IRL but remains committed to WCF. If you have any questions or concerns just let me know in his absence the proper protocol is that the VP (myself) look after anything required so just let me know your questions/concerns --> Privacy - TOR instructions/how to will be included in our next wallet update/release, after further discussions today with WCF CTO, we have determined that the direct integration of TOR into a wallet presents a major security risk therefore it has been determined that directly integrating TOR into WC is not in our best interest and opens up too much liability/security issues. At this point you can request a refund or you can leave your donation amount and have it shifted over to the main WCF wallet if you like. Please PM Surfguy72 accordingly. --> It is my understanding that there has been some IRL issues with Chunky, if you are interested in multipool mining WC while they sort through their items, point your miners to --> http://coinking.io--> A very influential IRL group has started to invest in WC for the longterm, they are loving these prices, keep pressing the prices down for them (and us) mr price dumpers, we (the community/strong hands) are picking up more and more WC daily and are loving seeing our stake grow (even though Shair put $15,000 USD into WC at double current prices) --> Today we have been discussing "Verified user" with WCF CTO, as I type we are still determining the viability of this project and various options for it. --> Shair.com has moved into its next phase of community support, we have received feedback from our lawyers regarding our initial plan however with their feedback we have had to pivot to an alternative funding solution which we will update you on later this week. Things are moving forward and we look forward to putting code to work very soon!

sorry guys i lost more than 20btc at this coin, and i dont invest anymore. my btc gone and my time gone. i want to sell my 15M stake, i wait offers. thanks
Hi leonar76, Saying goes, you only win/lose when you sell. If you would like to sell the 15M privately, please PM me however if you would like to sell it on the market here are a couple of suggestions/thoughts. Take what you want from these ideas/thoughts & throw away the ones you don't want: * Put your 15M on Mintpal (at your prices) * You will sell your WC over time (maybe even quite quickly) * You could even put it at the price(s) you bought at (not even realizing a "loss") ** Heck you could even set some prices at profit** Interesting thought just came to mind, what if your WC is already at Mintpal? Of course you may hold multiple wallets/exchange accounts etc. however when looking at the Whitecoin Distribution List - http://www.richlist.eu/whitecoin this could potentially be the case... and if so: This would mean that less your 15M (if they are on Mintpal) there are only 2M available WC available for purchase on Mintpal (8M including Cryptsy) or thereabouts. Supply would then be almost desert like meaning that your 15M would be much more in demand... Feel free to drop me a PM with your selling price and we can take it from there if you decide to go the private route. Best Regards, Jason Another 1,650,000+ Whitecoin purchased (still on mintpal) in strong hands, therefore you can minus that off of the balance at Mintpal, more to come as well Still waiting on the PM regarding your stake of 15M sitting at Mintpal S

The idea of supplying a passport/utility bill/drivers license seems a little over kill, and likely to be rejected as cumbersome by the internet community. Rather, I see a system, much like this very thread, or Ebay, where you create a Nick and the transactions are tracked by that Nick. The more positive transactions the more trustworthy the account and the more motivation to make sure your transactions go through smoothly.
I think it could be levels of verification, as you said, a registered wallet simply tracking the rep rating would be great. We may even be able to use this feature as our membership feature for the WCF. However, if the content was safely kept, and we'd have to find a way to do that, the ideas I suggested would be better benefitted by a "real person" being tied to the wallet/address. It would then be up to you what level you wanted to use. I agree a lot of people want to remain in the shadows and that's their prerogative for sure. It would not be mandatory per se, but would allow a lot more IRL functionality. We have yet to hit the audit cycle of the US IRS and related agencies. I'm hoping they left off, but these type of features may make it easier for a year end tax summary to be created and keep crypto-businesses off the hot seat. So it could be: "verified" member = email address, registered, maybe some simple info "Authenticated" member = all that juicy documents reviewed and an IRL person attached. ...you would want to have the ability to connect multiple wallet addresses to an identity/account Yeah agree, like the creation of a unique wallet ID, that could have addresses issued and tied under it. Would be verified/auth at the wallet level, and then by fact each of the addresses. Great points will discuss on Shair side. Couple more questions/thoughts: * verified = pretty easy, authenticated = more development on ourside but its looking doable, could work in conjunction with DandyID, Claimio and Cryptocopyright - perhaps holding a DandyID with Wallet ID/Verified/Authenticated status etc. and simply passing a key/authorizing would suffice to the wallet... * with this being said, there is the need more feedback on what verified means/looks like: - are you thinking that a "verified/authenticated" person/transaction will interact at the wallet level or how will this be recognized by users... - is it an exchange of certs that verifies and creates a "trusted transaction record" in wallet (etc etc) * I assume that Shair would act like a registrar issuing trust certs/keys etc. if the above was the case. We would want to keep it simple to start (assuming that the development proved viable) and we would want to break it down into deliverables in a staged development process. * Each stage would have specific milestones and bounties associated. - In a multi staged approach, each new (additional enhancement) would be budgeted and allocated at each stage taking into account current WC value, timelines, deliverables - payable upon completion. NOTE: It would be great to have our development team(s) hold a certain % to be released over time (just like founders shares in a public company) if at all possible. Perhaps WCF could hold wallets for them with a weekly/monthly payout plan (just a thought as I know that Shair is holding all WC purchased and the interest from it (nothing is available on any market)). We are digging deeper from the Shair side daily and love what we see! Hats off to the community, 1.7M is a great amount, especially as supply continues to leave exchanges and more investors enter the market thereby increasing the power of our development WC! Best Regards, Jason

Update 8/6/14Communication has begun with Jason our VP (also from shair.com) revolving around using DandyID. I haven't seen any specific comments yet revolving around reducing the confirmation time, the affect (if any) on POS. Will provide updates as I get them. Please remind me if i'm missing anything Lets keep this train moving! Developments in descending order of amount raised:7. Known User Transactions - 440666 WC 4. Reduce Confirmation Times - 351,500 WC 2. Privacy - 112,657 WC 5. Built in Voting - 100,000 WC 3. Smart Contract 4,000 WC TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED: 1,008,823 WC!And people asked me "Why Shair partnered with Whitecoin"... Well to us it's pretty clear that we align with the Community, simply look at the above initiatives and their early support Shout Outs: --> WNW - Excellent addition of #7 --> Surfguy72 - Super work on updating and moving this forward - I really like your regulations link: http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/bitcoin-regulation-inevitable-black-white-bitcoins-explained/2014/08/05?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=bitcoin-regulation-inevitable-black-white-bitcoins-explained --> WC Community - Awesome support thus far, keep your votes coming for what you want most for WC, we are loving what we are seeing! To keep you all in the loop, I am shairing the daily fundraising/updates with our teams to keep them in the loop as to the communities desires and support. The direction of these priority developments are excellent with IRL applications, merchant and services focused. Shair is currently evaluating how it can best support these developments, obviously this will be dependent upon the Community wants/needs & level of importance/support for these. From the current 2 front runners, #7 could directly involve Shair (DandyID/Claimio) therefore I will focus on this item as this seems to be the current #1 requested/supported development at this time. Your input will help define these developments, some quick questions regarding these developments in order of pledged donations thus far: #7 - Trusted/Known/Verified Users --> WNW summed it up quite nicely: "Your wallet would be certified by a trusted third-party entity that has established authenticity of your identify based on information that would normally be deemed too confidential to provide to a point-to-point entity. Along the same concept has acquiring an SSL Certification for your Web Site whereas you have public and private keys. Thus, when transacting business peer-to-peer, identity is established without either party needing to question the trust relationship. Shair has holdings via DandyID, so conceptually may work in and around that type of service where you actually have a third-party entity to broker and administer that relationship in the coin (and could extend to other coins as a value). Lots of possibilities exist within that framework, but it could be my meds kicking in..." BTW - your meds work well, don't hop off them anytime soon * With the above explanation, what information would you be willing to provide to to become "Certified/Verified"? Example: passport/utility bill etc. etc. * What would your expectations be for the trust relationship? / What would the verification represent to you when you see it? * What would happen if there was a "bad apple", then what? - Do you expect that the verification will be a warranty of sorts? Please explain if you have thoughts on this * Are you willing to pay an annual fee (like SSL) for this service? * A use case would be great to ensure that we are all on the same page. NOTE: There may be (probably will be) certain restrictions/requirements by the Cdn Gov't that we will more than likely have to comply with, however, as long as the community is willing to go through the necessary steps to become certified/trusted we are up for a much deeper analysis of seemless integration with our patented services/solutions... Any additional comments that you may have are more than welcome, but I think the above will help further define/outline the expectations of a service of this type, we are looking forward to continuing to see where the community drives Whitecoin. Additionally - If Shair and the community does decide that this is feasible to move forward with, we would look to our available development teams, partners, current and new development sources - in-conjunction/consultation with Mindfox and the level of involvement in this project that he can/is able to provide. Shair would step up to drive/manage this process to fully execute the development/service through to implementation as this would become an integrated service offering by our holdings.

I would like to move that the WCF invest in the deep investigation of a privacy function, thereby defining and implementing a Privacy function for Whitecoin. Personally I believe that TOR is the least path to resistance with numerous examples to follow however, this deep review by Mindfox and other developers needs to start upon vetting of kick starting the Privacy project.
My Vote = YES to Privacy Function
To further support the development of a Privacy function, Shair.com will be donating to the privacy project and once the WCF determines the approx efforts required, WCF creates the bounty, allocates % of its current donation wallet to the privacy project, additional donations can then be accepted and allocated this project with a donation by Shair. I suspect that raising funds to cover this project shouldn't be an issue.
Other Items:
1. Shair.com is in the final stages of reviewing the legalities for its Community Investment Award, looking to provide an update early next week. The current framework will support the Community and WCF, just need the lawyers to sign off on it.
2. Shair.com would like to put forth that in addition to Privacy, that the WCF/Community consider smart contracts - the blockchain is where real innovation, value and differentiation is, Shair will support this process provided the Community decides that the investment to "smartify" the Whitecoin Network, is a path to follow. Shair believes that this is the future (innovation of the blockchain) and would like to begin the process of evaluating the process of defining how this can be accomplished with Whitecoin, if the Community/WCF agree.
On behalf of Shair.com we look forward to supporting the growth of the Community, Whitecoin and The Whitecoin Foundation for the longterm. Our initial investment has already been made (yes we are staking) with the very real potential of much more to follow as we continue to evaluate the path the community and WCF takes, in addition to the support of the community for Whitecoin, initiated projects and acceptance of Whitecoin by our interested Investors, Customers and Associates.
Jason Arnold COO - Shair.com VP The Whitecoin Foundation
Jason, As always your presence and ideas are very welcomed. I believe looking into utilizing the TOR network is an excellent idea, and I also believe with you, if a budget is prepared for implementation, there will be support in the community. Recent articles revolving around bitcoin's blockchain have also been discussed, why not put that power to use. The ability to utilize the power (POS) and the blockchain itself provides synergy where we (and almost every coin) has wastes. Thanks Surfguy, I wanted to add 1 more important enhancement to Whitecoin that I think warrants further technical review: - Decrease confirmation times, aiming for sub 30 seconds which will enable Whitecoin to become much more suitable for fast transactions to support future mobile commerce (yes we would also want a mobile wallet but that putting the horse before the buggy so I think).

Cool, but looks like without the ring is best. I wouldn't mind hearing a few more variables though for tweaking. Somehow getting a W on there would be nice if graphically it would be pleasing
community design process, improvements and refining through community feedback i did a scaling test with simple "w" at the center and looks like it doesn't scale that well, gets lost at smallest scale - 16x16 pixels (as used for favorite icons in web browsers for example) it could be tweaked a bit to make it bigger at the expense of black ring but that would get it out of proportions with official 3d logo (which doesn't have a "w" either) I definitely concur, I appreciate you doing that scalability. Makes me feel more solid about the original. I also like the 3 black blocks it creates. 3 is a magic number, to put things into. Community, Value, Innovation Cool logo not to mention the Community, Value, Innovation part, good marketing opportunity.

what is the difference between privacy and anon
can u share with us
thx in advance
I'll like that too, a clearer explanation in this context. IMO: Privacy = TOR/VPN/Proxy network Anon = TOR + Mixing nodes I would be in to helping fund Privacy Anon not so much... anon - non traceable transactions. can be used for both good and bad activites - good: charity donations, etc, but this can be achieved in privacy mode too. - bad: illegal activities, drugs, money laundering, etc privacy - transaction can be traced, but this option is up to the owner (like keep transaction private, but still traceable e.g. for tax records, etc) -this would be probably preferable from business/merchant/company viewpoints I would like to move that the WCF invest in the deep investigation of a privacy function, thereby defining and implementing a Privacy function for Whitecoin. Personally I believe that TOR is the least path to resistance with numerous examples to follow however, this deep review by Mindfox and other developers needs to start upon vetting of kick starting the Privacy project. With his wealth of experience, Jason brings invaluable knowledge to the table as it relates to NPO funding opportunities for the WhiteCoin Foundation. A comment from Jason: I am truly honored to have been asked to take this role by The WhiteCoin Foundation. I am excited and thrilled that we hold common goals and political alignments around many key areas, such as net neutrality, community building, and most recently Bill C-31. There are many cryptocurrencies on the market today but with the dedication, drive, community, and commitment of WhiteCoin and The WhiteCoin Foundation, not only did I accept, I personally and professionally invested in WhiteCoin for the longterm (yes, I am staking!). I look forward to assisting the community in the shaping of Whitecoin as me move forward through the changing landscape of such a young coin and industry. Thank you to The WhiteCoin Foundation and all of the WhiteCoin community for such a warm welcome! First let me say that I am not much of a forum guy but wanted to stop in here to say hi as I understand that this is currently a central place for many WhiteCoin members to voice opinions, share ideas and discuss various directions that WhiteCoin may take! I will do my best to come here and share information as I can but moving forward my main form of communication will be providing updates through our main website (whitecoin.info), twitter, our corporate properties/social media accounts and other social media outlets. I hope the above information from Chris provides everyone with information as to whom I am, my background and more information about our group of companies, online properties and investor groups all which are here to help support, grow and advance WhiteCoin through innovative developments that have a focus towards real world business and merchant applications, supporting Net Neutrality in addition to growing the strength of The WhiteCoin Foundation here in Canada. We are super excited to be involved in such a great community, organization and a currency that we believe has a bright future! I have been keeping abreast of the many discussions regarding Anon, Privacy etc. and over the coming days I would like to put forward some of our corporate initiatives that we will be developing and some considerations for the community to consider as it relates to developments, which could help catapult WhiteCoin to the next level. Some of these developments involve Privacy others involve rewarding the WhiteCoin community whilst other yet will focus on increasing wallet functionality, Social Media and advancement of the WhiteCoin Network functionality, focusing on the future as opposed to "hype" related features/functions. Shair.com has vested into WhiteCoin (and will continue to do so), our currently vested WC will remain in our Wallet and be used in a number of ways such as: - Bounties for New and Innovative Technical Developments - Joint Development Funding Opportunities with The WhiteCoin Foundation - Distribution/sales/access to WhiteCoin for "non crypto enthusiasts (main stream consumers)" - Investment Holdings - Long Term - Integration & Use into many of our online properties (example would be CryptoCopyright as a starting point) - just to name a few... To this end, I am very excited for the times ahead, we are only at the beginning of great things to come and I look forward to serving the WhiteCoin Community through my new role as your VP of The WhiteCoin Foundation! Best Regards, Jason Arnold VP - The WhiteCoin Foundation COO - Shair.com Twitter: https://twitter.com/jasonarnold_com
