Whitecoin Distribution & Pie-ChartHello!
I just wanted to tout some of the work that Oizopower has been doing for us. The whitecoin distribution site keeps getting little tweaks, so if you haven't visited it in awhile please check it out! This is a great place to get some quick facts on the stats for whitecoin. If you've got any ideas for improvements, fire them off to myself or Oizopowerhttp://www.richlist.eu/whitecoin/stats > Pie Chart http://www.richlist.eu/whitecoin > Top 1000 Addresses Good work Oizopower! looks very nice, expecially this : ..looking this quickly, the first 100 addresses have 63.2% of total coins... excellent distribution! And if you go to the listing of the top 1000 addresses, there's a few exchanges mixed in that top 10 too, so those wallets truly represent multiple users. Excellent work, super dedicated Operations for WCF, time to allocate some funding from the WCF wallet... or donations from community as well, Oiz delivers! Be generous with WCF, we have to reward their good work. Preach by example, donate 20000. Txid: df1238f886c4e24b15c9fb8587a87b551a2b974a9ef00697b344fb1bb1a6ad01

what is the difference between privacy and anon
can u share with us
thx in advance
I'll like that too, a clearer explanation in this context. IMO: Privacy = TOR/VPN/Proxy network Anon = TOR + Mixing nodes I would be in to helping fund Privacy Anon not so much... anon - non traceable transactions. can be used for both good and bad activites - good: charity donations, etc, but this can be achieved in privacy mode too. - bad: illegal activities, drugs, money laundering, etc privacy - transaction can be traced, but this option is up to the owner (like keep transaction private, but still traceable e.g. for tax records, etc) -this would be probably preferable from business/merchant/company viewpoints I would like to move that the WCF invest in the deep investigation of a privacy function, thereby defining and implementing a Privacy function for Whitecoin. Personally I believe that TOR is the least path to resistance with numerous examples to follow however, this deep review by Mindfox and other developers needs to start upon vetting of kick starting the Privacy project. My Vote = YES to Privacy Function To further support the development of a Privacy function, Shair.com will be donating to the privacy project and once the WCF determines the approx efforts required, WCF creates the bounty, allocates % of its current donation wallet to the privacy project, additional donations can then be accepted and allocated this project with a donation by Shair. I suspect that raising funds to cover this project shouldn't be an issue. Other Items: 1. Shair.com is in the final stages of reviewing the legalities for its Community Investment Award, looking to provide an update early next week. The current framework will support the Community and WCF, just need the lawyers to sign off on it. 2. Shair.com would like to put forth that in addition to Privacy, that the WCF/Community consider smart contracts - the blockchain is where real innovation, value and differentiation is, Shair will support this process provided the Community decides that the investment to "smartify" the Whitecoin Network, is a path to follow. Shair believes that this is the future (innovation of the blockchain) and would like to begin the process of evaluating the process of defining how this can be accomplished with Whitecoin, if the Community/WCF agree. On behalf of Shair.com we look forward to supporting the growth of the Community, Whitecoin and The Whitecoin Foundation for the longterm. Our initial investment has already been made (yes we are staking) with the very real potential of much more to follow as we continue to evaluate the path the community and WCF takes, in addition to the support of the community for Whitecoin, initiated projects and acceptance of Whitecoin by our interested Investors, Customers and Associates. Cool, but looks like without the ring is best. I wouldn't mind hearing a few more variables though for tweaking. Somehow getting a W on there would be nice if graphically it would be pleasing
community design process, improvements and refining through community feedback i did a scaling test with simple "w" at the center and looks like it doesn't scale that well, gets lost at smallest scale - 16x16 pixels (as used for favorite icons in web browsers for example) it could be tweaked a bit to make it bigger at the expense of black ring but that would get it out of proportions with official 3d logo (which doesn't have a "w" either) I definitely concur, I appreciate you doing that scalability. Makes me feel more solid about the original. I also like the 3 black blocks it creates. 3 is a magic number, to put things into. Community, Value, Innovation

Jason, As always your presence and ideas are very welcomed. I believe looking into utilizing the TOR network is an excellent idea, and I also believe with you, if a budget is prepared for implementation, there will be support in the community. Recent articles revolving around bitcoin's blockchain have also been discussed, why not put that power to use. The ability to utilize the power (POS) and the blockchain itself provides synergy where we (and almost every coin) has wastes.

Thanks Surfguy, I wanted to add 1 more important enhancement to Whitecoin that I think warrants further technical review: - Decrease confirmation times, aiming for sub 30 seconds which will enable Whitecoin to become much more suitable for fast transactions to support future mobile commerce (yes we would also want a mobile wallet but that putting the horse before the buggy so I think).

When does the new wallet come out with the new logo work?
This is such a fun coin --seriously, its my go to crypto, so cheap and trades well. It would take me years to stake and get the return I get on trades. Not sure why anyone would want to stake and have their profit frozen. I suppose you could say it show community, but it really is like sticking money in a bank and earning only fractions of returns compared to what would be available in the market. Having said that, and with all the other glorious news, this coin is sitting about right at every level. We can learn a lot from Ripple, I agree :}

- less WC on markets is a no brainer for longterm investors, it creates demand and upward pressure
- you can pull from your savings account when you decide to, you know your average price, you decide when you want exchange your WC for BTC
- Longterm I dont have to worry about "missing out", Trying to make 10% and getting locked out... prices rises 5x but now no WC cause price didn't go back down for short= butt sore
- as an investor, you pick your entry point, then add to your holdings (daily for me) averaging down when price pushes down = increased holdings
- almost forgot - WC going to my and like minded community members wallets, takes WC away from FUDster manipulators therefore moving WC into strong hands
Time to start enjoying my weekend Almost forgot - Wallet: Oizopower has been working with Mindfox so they would have an update as too when it will be released as I understand it to be not just a logo/language update anymore rather it will be a unique wallet as opposed to its current generic form (albeit its solid like a rock so why go through the hassle for a logo update when what you got is working just fine ). PS: I am in no rush with Whitecoin, I love seeing my holding increase and all these great opportunities ahead, I sleep easy in WC knowing what really is happening here

I am just throwing out reasons folks may not want to lock their coins up. I feel it's good to be fair and balanced within the community. You see, not everyone is going to agree with everything you say. You are always going to want and need both sides of the coin. Without that, you are just asking for trouble. There are a few of us left that are original WC investors that do have a lot invested, thus we feel it's our right and honor to debate and flush out fact and such. We know it's not a rosy world and want to let future investor understand there are those "others" that will continue to vet the coin, even when it appears everyone is nodding their heads in the same general direction. Enjoy your weekend, I know I will. I have a lot of excitement planned. WNW

PS: I am in no rush with Whitecoin, I love seeing my holding increase and all these great opportunities ahead, I sleep easy in WC knowing what really is happening here all great points and reasons manipulators and speculators are creating fake sell pressure (fake dumps/sell walls) to push the value down and hoping people will sell into their low bids (and also buy their fake sell walls and then hope people panic and sell lower when price seems to continue decreasing from fake dumps) they will keep doing this over and over until they run the coin's value to the ground at this point coin gets delisted from exchanges because at minimal prices coin can't generate enough trading volume in btc. then they move on to destroy another coin so the best strategy really is: keep buying, hold in wallet, stake at one point they will either run out of coins and because they keep bleeding btc they will eventually move on to easier markets to destroy, or the market moves against their trades and keeps going, at which point they either move on to other markets or have to buy back at significant loss You are correct for those pump and dump groups, no doubt. However, the entire purpose of the coin is to trade. This is why it is listed on the exchange. This is why the exchange list this coin, because they are the real winners in the trading. If you draw down and stake all your coin, there won't be any volume and thus, it could get removed from the exchange like what almost happened recently. Sure, you could build a bot out there to generate fake volume (as do the china folk) but in the end, staking is not really increase the value of the coin, only secure and make the network stronger, which is a fair point. I think folks need to understand there is a balance, maybe half and half, or what ever works for them. You see, people (normal people) are not going to keep buying cheap worthless coins and keep sticking it in a wallet to hopefully earn one or two more cheap coins. The idea that this coin is used as a currency or something else does have promise and that is why I continue to hold a little and trade a little, waiting for the value to be realized and doing the same with other coins that have great foundations. Whitecoin can only increase in value when people are buying and selling. It's unfortunate you are going to have winner's and loser's, it's the nature of the game. Not FUD as I own more coins than most folks added together and have a vested interest, so please try and listen to what I have stated before responding with "well staking is awesome or buy more". Again, normal people only have so much money --they cannot just keep buying more and putting into wallet.

Everyone has their own strategies, some take 5% and play on the markets, others use it all and longterm investors just take and stake Of course we understand day trading BUT... we also understand manipulators wanting to get more WC (back) that was taken from them at higher prices than current market prices - fortunate for Whitecoin, its now locked in wallets out of the hands of manipulators ;p If you want WC to replace what is now in strong hands, buy up want to dump and play that game, risk losing even more WC to strong hands

Investment advice should be found from those who do not benefit from your transactions. There is too much Econ 101 misinformation out there. A quick google search regarding investments, diversification, shorting, hedging and the like out there. Even the best of us make flippant comments based on our own strategies but again seek your investment advice from outside of bct as there are too many looking to dupe novice traders.

Not all coins going into wallets me thinks. I have made a ton more trading coin than staking was my only point and not by manipulation. Just setting my limit orders and they are "always" filled with 10-20% profits in a single stroke. This makes the coin attractive in that regard. Only problem I see is market cap which is starting to bleed out.
