Lets pop some blocks today! Little string of bad luck, but I have a feeling we're gonna be on fire this weekend!
Better be. Few decent blocks and now back to the torture

Notice to all buyers
When you plan to get massive speed from NiceHash, adjust difficulty of your target pool to high value. Failure to do so will results in bridge disconnects and penalties paid to miners.
Is there a guide for speed / difficulty? What about the pools that don't let you set difficulty? Most pools do it for us.

I would set the p= in the password to 0.0110 to 0.0115 and let it roll. There have been spikes in SHA-256 the past 2 weeks at times to 30% over +.
i haven't played with the options like p= at all...but with the profit being -5% I thought I might. so I set one of my s3's to be p=.011, saved/applied and then rebooted. I don't know if .011 is really a good value. would love peoples thoughts. my s3 now shows that for westhash its "dead" and is mining at my secondary location. How often does the s3 check on the primary mining location, westhash, to see if it should switch back to westhash for mining? thoughts are absolutely welcome. I would use 0.0115 myself--nice/westhash charges a fee, so you want to make sure you take that into consideration. I use the calculator at bitcoinwisdom (on the diff page, top right) to determine what the 100% mark is per 1TH, then I bump that number up to make sure it's profitable. YMMV, but this will help you catch the crazy 30%+ rental fees without you worry about wasting hash when it's less profitable. I think you should all set it to 0.0070 or lower.

Having some issues as not by a computer but will try when I am.
Edit: Having looked at the site on my phone and reading how it works, I'm not in the position to join. If I do, my membership will be revoked for violating their terms. The site seems to be legitimate and has been around for a while but it's one that I personally cannot benefit from.
Yeah, I'm gonna pass.

NiceHash presents a new feature: one-click Blockchain Lottery! Check out your Account / Blockchain Lottery. You can purchase one-click tickets for Blockchain Lottery. Each ticket will enable Bitcoin solo mining for 24 hours and give you a chance to win 99.5% of full BTC block reward, including Bitcoin block transaction fees - usually altogether more than 25 BTC! You can buy as much tickets as you wish with various probabilities to win the Bitcoin Lottery. Keep in mind that this is a pure Bitcoin technology, integrated into Blockchain and supported by Bitcoin core technology - there are approximately 144 Bitcoin blocks found each 24 hours, totalling approximately 3600 Bitcoins per day. We wish you the best of luck! Quite a fun thing. Tried the cheapest one but cancelled immediately. Turns out it's not for me.

a nuke out rage (tsar like) and then it's gone . , all fleet sinked. the game, the war, the victory, for Human against the subhuman occupying America... time to free this land from their occupiers. Wow, what's all that about? Are you smoking funny things? Do you mean something like an LRAD? Put your fingers in your ears and hope for the best!

Now that you mention a method it seems like this may have something to do with SE. I don't mind looking at the method to see whether it's legit or not but I definitely won't pay for an SE method that's illegitimate and immoral.
Might be sounding dumb here. What's an SE method?

Not a whole lot of "proof" without using the coupon. They're 100% legal. I can assure you I am not going to scam for $25.
Do they have an expiry date? Can it be used against all products? Is there a minimum spend? Is it limited to certain countries? Are there any other limitations? Not trying to sound picky but I'd like a Hero 4 but I'd need to save the other 60%

wondering if i vlan'ed these things if i could potentially get clocking that way? anybody tried? not much on the internet about that
No there is not a lot of info on virtual lan's with them. I'm sure it could be done, but it's just a extra step not needed. And i know the talk about DHCP. If you can get it workig static IP is a lot nicer. Being able to always go to same IP makes it easier. Although mine were DHCP my miners held onto the same IP addresses even after they'd been turned off.

CoinDesk appears to be down for me. Is it same for all ? Are they under DDoS ?
Bookmark this site for future reference: http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.comNope, we can all reach CoinDesk just fine. I love that site. Annoying when it is just me though.

I had all mine set up DHCP and the had no issues. I'm no good at networking so I found it was the best option for me.

So now the website is CloudFlare protected?
I really hate CloudFlare. I know it's a necessary evil, but it really gets in the way.
Our site is under CloudFlare Pro from day 1, but today we had to enable more aggressive protection since our intrusion prevention system detected possible attacks ... back to normal now. With the recent attacks on several websites I think it's a wise move. What's to hate? Still the same site. I'd rather see the browser confirmation thing for a few seconds rather than not being to access the site at all.

Ok, long shot but if any of the following renters are online in SHA256 please cancel your orders and start new ones at a MUCH lower price. You're killing the rate. Thank you. P.S. I wouldn't worry about any fee you might incur, we're at 0.0100.

I wish those top 5 standard SHA256 rentals would end. Their having a catastrophic effect on the fixed pricing.

Holy shit! I just noticed that I found 350702! My first block ever! (I think) It's great! Makes you feel like you've really achieved something. Especially with the difficulty now.

Is there anyone reading this that is renting SHA256? Can I ask what coin you're mining? Has something new arrived?
I'm bored doing nothing, staring at the price, waiting for it to drop.

Looks like someone hit blockchain lottery? Am I reading that correct? Unfortunately it wasn't me.
If that is correct on the site. 12 TH hit a block in the first 3 days. Pretty damn lucky. I started 2 hours ago and think I may switch back.
Yes, NiceHash solo mining Bitcoin pool found it's first block The happy user already said thanks and sent us the print-screen of his/her lucky AntMiner S3: Why would a solo miner need a pool What does that even mean, solo mining pool It's exactly what it says on the tin. It's a pool set up that when you're mining, it's only YOU! No-one else, just you, solo.
