1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The real winning of gambling is withdrawals on: June 12, 2024, 10:14:12 PM
I decided to create this topic to see how other people manage their winning in gambling. If I notice a better approach, I will switch immediately as I don't want to continue experiencing the pain of winning and later losing the money again.
Start playing with a goal in mind. For an example: if I double my bankroll, I'm satisfied, so I just quit. Then go to action. Start your gambling session, playing with money you can afford to lose, and pursuing that primary goal you had in mind. As soon as you double your initial bankroll, don't be greedy and don't think twice, just cashout your winnings, close the app or website and put that money into good use.

Weak the temptation in your heart by controlling your impulses and urgers for gambling. It's natural to feel tempted to continue gambling after winning some nice amount of money, because automatically we start thinking we can turn that sum of money into an even larger amount. However, that is the biggest mistake the gambler can commit, as you probably already know by your own experience. So avoid it at all costs, especially because you already know where it's going to end.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading or gambling? on: June 12, 2024, 10:03:09 PM
What advantages do you think sports betting and card games have over trading and investing?
None, because it's a different category of activity which can't be compared to some examples of trading or investing. When you trade and invest, your main goal is making money, and not feeling entertained. Investments don't have a purpose if they aren't profitable. Meanwhile, gambling still has a purpose, even if you aren't profiting from it on long run, because the main goal here is having fun. If a gambler is betting thinking on it as an investment, or as a better alternative than investing his money, he is completely wrong and unfortunatelly, he is going to learn that the hard way...
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Too much disasterous threats in relationship and partnerships. on: June 12, 2024, 09:49:55 PM
My question is why not either the man or the woman just peacefully walk out from the relationship if they don't feel welcomed and comfortable anymore instead playing with ones emotions or the intentions to put ones life to an end because of selfish interests and anger of jealousy?
People are mad and act irrationally during moments of anger and high stress. It can happen for different reasons, like a boring relationship which is already lasting for a long time, without any purposes and genuine feelings anymore or the aggressions might be due to possessive behaviors one partner has over the another one, so he channels his or her energies into rage, resulting in such physical conflicts and injuries. Maybe one partner doesn't want to leave, because he is weak and enforces an hellish coexistence over the another partner, also resulting in aggressions.

It would be really much easier and less traumatizing if both parties agreed in leaving each other and living their own lives on their own. But that is a mature decision which demands a lot of authenticity and courage from the individuals. So, not everyone is willing to act like that, especially in this sick world we live nowadays.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become better on: June 12, 2024, 09:34:04 PM
The biggest liars of the century are from the politicians around the world , once they get elected they do something else.
Keep in mind politicians are the reflex in the mirror of the citizens from their respective countries. Politicians are to be blamed, but if they are able to have so much influence and reach the power positions they are currently in, you have to blame some other people as well...

Bitcoin won't become better because it's endorsed by politicians or governments. Bitcoins exists and works independently of political propagandas, and it has been always like this since the beginning. Probably that is why it has been working so nicely so far, and I hope it still continue working this for a long time yet!

The impact of politicians over Bitcoin, as I see, is the fact they have influence over a lot of people's actions. If they tell people to behave somehow, they immediately follow the orders. Then we could speculate that if politicians ordered people to use Bitcoin, they would adopt it on the same moment, what would have effect over Bitcoin's demand and price positively. The question is, why would they do this? It doesn't seem to benefit them in anyways.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think memecoin can turn into a token with utilities? on: June 12, 2024, 09:22:27 PM
Now am not gonna bore y'all with some story, but the team of this memecoin brought a whole ecosystem and utilities for the token, like they already launched their own wallet on Apple store & google play already and they already have a metaverse game that can be played in a web browser. they also have an upcoming free-to-play mobile game soon. I think these can be considered as utilities, since it's more than just a memecoin.
If the game is entertaining, fun and gamers adopt it because they really enjoy playing, then I would say this memecoin has an usecase... But if it's just another repetitive game copied and pasted from somewhere else, without anything attractive on it, then gamers are only going to play this aiming the rewards involved on the process. At some point, which isn't likely to take so long, the game's token (memecoin) will get devalued, nobody will play anymore because it's not profitable and the gamers who invested on the game will feel scammed and will call the game and the memecoin a ponzi scheme.

It has already happened before so many times, that this project you are talking about will have to bring more than a metaverse and mobile game in order to prove its value to the community of crypto enthusiasts and gamers. It's easy to say there is a metaverse and game involved, the hard part is to show quality, originality and exciting features which will make gamers play this for a long time.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Surviving in this economy needs a new minds set on: June 12, 2024, 09:10:32 PM
This makes me to think and have come to the realization and conclusion that surviving in this present economic situation needs a total different mind set such that will make you to think out side of the box
To survive in this chaotic world we have nowadays is the maximum most people are going to be able to do. That is what everyone is actually doing: surviving, without any expectations of a better future, without any long term plans, drowned in debt and addictions, blindly following what the current system wants them to do. The main point is to thrive in this chaotic world, instead of only surviving. Awakened individuals try to break up with the survival cycle to become thriving ones who are able to grow wealth on long term. But as you said, in order to do that, we need a totally different mindset...

Investing in crypto currencies like Bitcoin is not a bad idea at all
That could be the beginning of the mindset replacement. Focusing in crypto investments can help many people to start growing their funds into substantial amounts of money which can be used for further and more profitable investments in another sectors of society. It's definitely not a bad idea at all. Investors just have to be aware about the fact profits may not come overnight, besides having to know which cryptocurrencies to pick as investments, as most of them are useless and very risky to hold on long run thinking on profitability.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't advice anyone to invest on Bitcoin if he doesn't have Alt. income on: June 11, 2024, 08:09:42 PM
Untill it's realized that the nature of bitcoin investment is not a get rich quick and isn't one of the MemeCoins that's subjected to coins surprising increase based on marketing hypes strategies, then beginners would bear it in mind that there coming to invest on bitcoin would require a long time holding which only an alternative and stable source of income would let you achieve your investment goal.
Considering a good life the reasons why invest, we can't have the money growing somewhere there while we're dieing on hunger and medical cares. Of course non alternative income would always disrupt our bitcoin holding while waiting to make profits.
Even though the individual doesn't have a large income right now to fulfill all his needs, I guess he has to re-calculate his household spendings, and find a way to allocate part of his budget for investments, otherwise how is he going to overcome the current financial issues he is facing? Maybe he can cut some expenses here and there to use the money to invest in Bitcoin.

Moreover, the biggest problem in his case is mindset. He has the wrong mindset for life, since he is an immediatist person who want quick profits from investments, can't deal emotionally with volatility, besides wasting money when he has a lot of it disponible on his hands.

If he doesn't change his approach towards his lifestyle nothing is going to improve for him. Even if he had a million of dollar, it wouldn't be enough, anyway...
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible to inherit a gambling debt? on: June 10, 2024, 04:36:30 PM
Involving the police, does it sound like a way to settle the problem? The cops can decide to side the loan shark. Because his money is at stake and it'll be also injustice on the loan shark's end if his money is not given to him. I understand that people are not meant to pay for loan they don't know about, but they are better means of settling such matters.

Provided the loan shark has given out proof about the deceased person owing him, talking to him to atleast reduce the amount of money for the moarning family is the best idea. Trying to go it the aggressive way will only piss off the loan shark to take silly decisions. The loan sharks also take this steps of asking for the player's family contacts for the same reason. If the person doesn't come back to pay back or leaves this earth, they'll trace him to his family using the information he's provided.
Unless the police is corrupt, involving them is the most reasonable alternative if the loan shark is threating to do something against the family in case they don't pay off the debt of a dead family member. Personally, I wouldn't negotiate with thieves and murderers, so I definitely wouldn't wish to directly talk to him on that hypothetical situation. The debt isn't mine, I did nothing wrong, while I'm being physically threated. Since we live in a civilized society, there must be civilized means to solve the situation, what involves demanding action from authorities.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exposure to bitcoin at young age on: June 10, 2024, 04:25:14 PM
Do you think that exposure to bitcoin at an young age is a good thing in general ? I feel it should be taught based on individual personality and not to very young guy. This is because all young guys might not be responsible enough to invest and track with patience at young age. However, those who have the required patience can make very high returns on their investment by investing at an young age. So, which side are you in this aspect ? Do you feel that all young guys should be informed and educated about bitcoin ?
One of my regrets in life is not have been exposed to Bitcoin since an earlier age. Instead of having spent my time on videogames, playing on the streets with other kids I would be already earning money online for my future, so I could be right now in a better financial condition, without any fears, insecurities and uncertainties regards what is going to happen next with my finances. Moreover, I could be already proportionating my parents a much better life condition, allowing them to do everything they have already dreamed about accomplishing in life, which they never had the opportunity to do so due to financial limitations.

The sooner you start working and making income, the better, I suppose... Especially if you are going to begin from zero!
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a legal jurisdiction backing up gamblers against the casino oppression? on: June 10, 2024, 04:12:48 PM
I only learn that some individuals can only take such case personal upon themselves for a resolution of justice for such a helpless gambler but my question is if is there any jurisdiction to backup interests of gamblers as much terms and conditions of casino sites lies to tender legal backups to the Casino companies?
Yes, there are. I read some cases where the accusations from the gamblers against the casinos were judicialized at the court. Every countries have regulations which casinos have to fulfill in order to be allowed to operate there, and if they fail to follow one or another, they will face the justice, like every other individual living under the same regulations of that country. That is in theory, though, because we know for real things work differently, since money and influence plays a big role on the decisions of the court, as justice isn't unbiased everywhere.

In other cases, the casino may just find gaps on the laws and regulations in order to not be punished and escape from the court. With online virtual casinos it's a pretty common practice, being much harder for legal actions to have any effects over them. What you can do in order to prevent facing issues regards this matter is to always seek for reputable casinos where you can play. It won't work 100%, because even reputable casinos might scam their users at some point, but at least you decrease the chances considerably.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.GAME Sending emails with the title, ''Withdrawal Notification'' on: June 10, 2024, 04:01:25 PM
Always you receive emails like that you have to be careful before opening them, because it's a common practice from hackers to send phising spam emails to different people on the internet who the hackers have the contact addresses, in order to lead them to click malicious links, which will potentially steal their personal informations and guarantee the hackers full access to their online accounts.

This time it was a lottery ticket you clicked, but who knows what it could be next time... Be careful. If you don't have made any withdrawals, you don't have why to click the link you received. Instead, go by yourself at search engine, login at the website which is claiming you have made an withdrawal and check your history. If the information is misleading, just ignore it.

In case it's a legit email from the service you are claiming, then you can send their support a message stating everything you just posted on this thread. Also, tell them you don't want to receive similar messages anytime in the future ever again.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible to inherit a gambling debt? on: June 10, 2024, 03:46:08 PM
However, if the loan is from a third party, for example a loan shark or cooperative, which has a loan agreement which states that family members need to pay the loan even when the borrower dies, then the family members or children will inherit the loan. And that is what usually happens in casinos, where they design the loan to be passed on to family members/heirs appointed by the borrower. And people like this who are in debt and pass on their debts to others are the type of people who are selfish and have no feelings.
I have never seen a situation where family members had to use money from their own pockets to pay off debt from a dead family member. It doesn't seem constitutional in any cases, because nobody can force third party people to honor their agreements, in case they can't. At least, not without the agreement of this third person as well on the moment the contract was signed by both parties. That is what we call guarantor. And only in this case the debt will be passed ahead, to the guarantor in this case.

Loan sharks are another story, though, because they can use illegal coercive measures to force family members to pay off debt, otherwise they will suffer the consequences... But that is something completely outlaw, so I don't think we could consider it a inherited gambling debt. In fact, people should call the police in these cases, so they can be protected against the loan sharks' threats.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Converting altcoin profits into Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2024, 04:51:31 PM
I see some advise to just convert my profits straight into Bitcoin but in doing that I would be buying Bitcoin at the highest prices so don't understand that.
You will be buying Bitcoin at the highest price only if you believe Bitcoin has already hit its ATH and from now on it's going to lose price. At same time, following this logic, we could also think that by buying altcoins right now we are acquiring them for the highest price, because crypto market moves together on the same direction. If Bitcoin gains more value, altcoins are also benefited, but when Bitcoin loses price, altcoins also dump as consequence.

It's all about what you have more confidence on: Bitcoin or altcoins. Personally, I prefer to invest my funds straight way in Bitcoin, instead of altcoins, because it's a more reliable investment on long term, while altcoins tend to be more volatile and lose their relevance inside crypto market from cycle to cycle. On the other hand, Bitcoin is intact on the top position of this market for 16 years already.
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 09, 2024, 04:25:49 PM
We have conducted a thorough review and found no issues on the website. It is possible that specific users may have encountered problems due to viruses or plugins they installed, which are beyond our control.
Isn't it too much coincidence that many high rollers who won the wagering contest (and only them) had their accounts legitimacy compromised by a malicious script which was deflecting their funds to external unknown wallets?

If the issue with malicious script were a generic issue faced by random users, then we could think that it had something to do with external plugins installed by the users themselves (probably plugins related to gambling bots).

But since only specific whales were targeted, it really seems to have been a more elaborated attack against determined platform's users, who the hackers knew to be more profitable to steal from, instead of focusing on random accounts from micro earners containing dust of satoshis, for an example.
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will be $350,000 by August 25, 2024 - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 09, 2024, 04:16:12 PM
It's not possible to state Bitcoin is going to hit 350.000$ when in fact it hasn't even reached six digits yet (100.000$). This kind of prediction is baseless and has as sole goal to generate views and traffic for the author. There are lots of people who keep repeating absurd things on the internet, because they know that is how they can make the algorithm works in their favour. It's an old marketing trick which has been working smoothly since the era of the printed media.

I'm just hopeful Bitcoin can continue growing by August 25, 2024, as we have been seeing since the beginning of this year. There are still tough challenges ahead, such as breaking the 72.000$ resistance line, and then conquering more levels until the 80,000$ and 90,000$, so we can finally start dreaming about the six digits for the first time in history! Being more realistic, that is what should be predicted regards Bitcoin progress by the end of 2024.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: June 09, 2024, 03:51:41 PM
The only way a beginner doesn't get addicted to gambling it's when it isn't viewed as a source of income. Most gamblers depends on gambling as a source of income and they get addicted to it because they think it's a place to make profit.
That is true. We can help newbies by enlightening them regards this simple fact they should be aware about gambling games. As more experienced gamblers, we can tell them our own personal experiences, so they don't have to commit the same mistakes we did in order to learn something useful for their lives. They can just learn with us and avoid seeing gambling as a source of income or full time job. It will be always up to them to take our words as important or to just neglect it, but the key factor here is that we will be doing our part, anyway.

Moreover, it's wise to tell newbies they should gamble only with spare money they aren't going to need for anything essential soon. To use considerable amounts of money from weekly or monthly wage is never a good idea, and will imply regrets in the future, once loss streaks are faced by the gambler.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: June 09, 2024, 03:25:41 PM
One thing that I think about is why they still continue to play even though they always lose, and in my opinion it is most likely because they are typical irresponsible gamblers in the sense of coming back to catch up on the losses they have experienced to reach the recovery phase in the sense that they are typical gamblers who are unable to take responsibility for their own decisions and obviously in the end such an approach will lead them to the addiction phase which has many more significant adverse effects.
Probably these gamblers you mentioned were gambling with money they couldn't give themselves the luxury to lose, so they get desperate once the money is gone through gambling losses, and in a state of stress and anxiety, they don't measure their actions very well from that moment on, what leads them to do dumb things, like chasing losses, because they can't think on any better alternatives to fix the mess they have caused.

Of course it will only generate further prejudice to themselves and to the relationships they have with other people, because friends and family won't trust them anymore, as they have become degenerated gamblers. As you said, this category of gambler is irresponsible, but more than that, they are also pretty compulsive on their attitudes. These disfunctional traits can be worked out and balanced, though, aiming their personal organismic self-regulation.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is web3 casino the new trend for casinos? on: June 09, 2024, 03:10:21 PM
What are your thoughts on this, and how deep is your understanding of web3 casinos in terms of their legal parlance?
Blockchain decentralized gambling concept requires responsability, autonomy and specific knowledge from users regards its features. Do you think the largest portion of this community or a considerable portion of this industry has such traits in order to adopt Web3 casinos? I don't think so... People are heavily dependant on middlemen, third party services, regulators and authorities when deciding what they will adopt and what services they will use. Web3 doesn't look something gamblers in general would feel attracted to.

There is also the legal aspect as well, which can be an obstacle, if regulators decide for considering it a forbidden practice. I think it would be hard for them to punish decentralized concepts of casinos, because there isn't a central responsible or CEO behind it, but they could punish everyone using it from the jurisdiction where the regulations are a must. Probably something similar to the approach they take from piracy practice.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What about low odds in sports betting? on: June 09, 2024, 02:57:36 PM
2. You should choose many such matches for diversification purposes, so that one random loss does not wipe out all your winnings.
I think I didn't understand this point very clearly, because even if you diversify your bets a lot, placing many small bets aiming low odds winnings, you still can't be assured this strategy is going to work, because one or another defeats are still likely to happen, and you need just one defeat to cancel your progress from ten winnings, for an example, considering you are playing with 1.1x odds.

On long run it still doesn't sound a working strategy for me. In the end you will be putting a lot of effort on it to select the matches you are going to bet, and just to make tiny profit on the bigger picture, if everything goes as expected. On the other hand, it takes just few minor mistakes to turn this strategy into a losing one. I think it's not cost effective, unless you have a lot of fun doing this...
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gradually turning away from its purpose? on: June 08, 2024, 09:02:04 PM
Like the title explained it all when sighting towards the speculation or trade discussion section I mostly found out that lots of people are gradually turn away the purpose of bitcoin to mainly investment purposes and I mean to asked, was bitcoin created for investment purpose or it's for peer to peer to alternate fiat?
I'm not really interested on what should be the main purpose of Bitcoin, because I think the most useful and important aspect from Bitcoin is to fit different needs and demands adopters have on their personal lives. For you it can be that Bitcoin fits better as currency, but for me it may be more interesting as an investment. For another person, it can mean privacy, while for someone else it can be the perfect tool they were looking for in order to have access to gambling. And I'm not really judging who is right, who is wrong and who is the best adopter among all.

Good that Bitcoin is being useful for everyone in different ways. Thankfully we have access to it and hopefully even more people are going to become adopters as well in the near future!
