dznutz85 is an account seller under the account ACCTVendor.

Maybe OP bought an account off him. I don't know really what happened for sure.
2  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Massive explosion in the Chinese city of Tinjian is due to btc mining? on: August 13, 2015, 03:49:52 PM
lol no I highly doubt it was a Bitcoin mine, it wouldn't explode like that but burn slowly. This explosion had to have had some accelerant or something, some chemicals or maybe even a bomb or something, there was a shockwave from it.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: It's brainwallet dead? on: August 13, 2015, 03:44:27 PM
What happened is at a recent hacker convention a hacker published a brainwallet cracker that is 10-100x faster than any other brainwallet cracker ever published before. Because of this the owner of brainwallet.org finally listened to what people have been preaching for years which is that brainwallets are a dangerous thing for the average person and it's not a good idea to promote their use. You can get the code on github if you need to claim your funds from old brainwallet addresses, but do NOT make another brainwallet unless you enjoy having your Bitcoins stolen, though if you are going to do that I ask that you just give them to me instead.

"Double hashing" is bullshit, people who say "oh you need to do X to make your brainwallet secure" are all full of shit. It is true that most brainwallet generators don't use a strong hashing algorithm, but thats a side issue that doesn't really matter anyways because brainwallets are still insecure as shit even when using a strong hashing algorithm. The only way to make it safe is to use a cryptographically strong random number generator to generate a seed. This will however likely be too long to remember (electrum uses 12 words and thats pretty much as small as you can safely go - 128bits). So basically the problem is the brainwallet will either be easy as shit to crack or too hard to remember, there is no middle ground thus brainwallet = bad idea.
4  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: i am now locked out of my wallet (please help) on: August 13, 2015, 03:17:17 PM
Yes you need to contact blockchain.info, they will remove IP whitelisting from your account.
awesome thanks for the help Cheesy, have you had experience with this before?

Yes my friend did the same thing as you and setup whitelisting with a dynamic IP. He had to verify some account details and he got back in within 24 hours, the support were very fast to respond.

Another thing you can do is if you have a recent backup of your blockchain.info wallet you can restore it to a new blockchain.info account. You only need the password to do that, it lets you bypass 2FA, ip whitelisting etc.
5  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Need brainwallet php script on: August 13, 2015, 03:12:34 PM
Important detail: what website/tool did you use to create the brainwallet? if it was brainwallet.org, use the github link posted above. The problem is there is no standardization for brainwallets, each tool works differently, some tools will give a different address + private key for the same brainwallet phrase.

7  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Android Wallet Backup File on: July 11, 2015, 10:06:36 AM
I'll take it. I will send the funds to escrow and they will be released to you once I extract the private key. How does that sound?
8  Economy / Services / Re: Is it possible to unlock a samsung galaxy s6 edge or sprint? on: July 11, 2015, 10:01:14 AM
Try contacting the provider you are locked to, they will usually charge a $20 fee or so and will unlock it for you.
9  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Brainwallet.org verify doesnt work anymore? on: June 28, 2015, 05:37:53 PM
This website had serious problems before with their random number generator[1]. I would certainly avoid this website.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex, keeps cooperating with scammers, thieves and criminals to rob people on: June 28, 2015, 04:16:00 PM
Why not instead of trusting the exchanges to do their due diligence you actually do it yourself? Bernie Madoff scammed $100+ million fiat from his investments that were on highly regulated stock exchanges etc. You can't seriously expect every exchange to stop you from being scammed, it doesn't matter if that is bittrex or the new york stock exchange.
11  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-E Hacked on: June 28, 2015, 08:48:26 AM
Looks like your account was hacked and not BTC-e. You should change the post title and if you used your BTC-e password on any other website you should change it.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Selling weed online legally for BTC on: June 28, 2015, 06:06:21 AM
If they can have cannabis vending machines then why not online services?

Because you need to scan your fingerprints and card at the ATM. Sending through the mail likely won't happen for many reasons.
13  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: June 28, 2015, 05:58:11 AM
So I saw people with less points and activity then me having Hero Status .......when I will have mine Sad .

You need 480 activity to get hero status. Check the OP.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ..Who owns this wallet?? on: June 28, 2015, 04:46:42 AM
It seems to be tainted with coins from Mt Gox. It could be some of the stolen BTC, though even if it is I doubt the current owner has any idea.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Selling weed online legally for BTC on: June 26, 2015, 11:50:07 PM
I don't think such a service will ever exist, the legal cannabis industry is way too highly regulated. I hear that some cannabis vending machines that are in development will accept Bitcoin as they are unable to accept credit cards at the machine due to regulations and bureaucracy.

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin better than litecoin? on: June 25, 2015, 07:46:27 PM
Better in what way? A thing does not have to be better than something else for it to be more valuable than it.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are key scramblers effective in beating keyloggers to protect our btc wallets? on: June 25, 2015, 07:39:45 PM
No any "key scrambler" can be defeated. They just provide a false sense of security.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Possible solution for paypal trading ? on: June 18, 2015, 11:47:07 AM
There is no solution. PayPal suck at preventing fraud and will make the seller pay for it whenever they can. Plus PayPal have rules forbidding currency trades in their TOS and will suspend your account if you do that.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Feds plot course to resume NSA spying on: June 18, 2015, 10:28:52 AM
1. Change your phone to the latest android (new encryption embedded, makes it impossible for feds to find you out)
2. Move to Canada eh?

Moving to Canada would only make things worse. The NSA claim they can legally spy on any non-US citizen they want whenever they want as they are not protected by the 4th amendment. So you'd be giving up the only legal protection you have against them, and lets not forget they have most of their surveillance equipment overseas.
