1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't do this mistakes in trading on: June 06, 2024, 12:29:50 PM
This mistake is common and never dies; people tend to get more greedy of wondering they can get more of what they have so their emotions conquer to hold more their position after that makes another mistake tends to lose their position and gets liquidated, if you are a newbie trader this most happens but if you are experienced trader cutting loss is the most suitable than burning more your money, also have a plan until when you will hold and until what price there's a reason why TP/SL feature added in futures trading. Use this as your safety measurement.
Yes, I think this is often warned repeatedly. However, until now, these errors still occur very often. Not only for newbies, but also for people who frequently trade. However, I understand that sometimes people tend to be greedy. This usually happens because someone wants maximum profit, so they continue to hold the assets they own. In fact, the best way to avoid this is to sell the asset for a percentage. For example, if our price target is reached, we might sell 10% to 30% of the assets we own, and continue doing that. If the price goes down, we can buy it back.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't forget to HODL your BTC on: June 06, 2024, 10:55:27 AM
for now, I believe that bitcoin can reach the price of $100k. So, if I had a lot of bitcoin right now, I would keep holding it until that happens. the last time I sold the bitcoins I had, the price went higher, and that made me regret it. Well, I did that after the halving, and was fooled by the continued decline. However, after that, a bull market occurred and bitcoin reached a new ATH. Well, it made me think about not repeating the same mistake.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't you think you should invest in Bitcoin instead of burning your money in fire on: June 05, 2024, 01:14:05 PM
A lot of people calculate these, like an 8 dollar cup of coffee every morning over course of 10 years (including inflation) would worth enough to be a huge capital for a house down payment too, or smoking, or drinking, hell even like netflix subscription if you think about it.

When you combine all of this, imagine living a life where you do not smoke drink or go out or eat anything expensive, you just eat noodles, drink tap water, watch cable tv, and sleep without doing anything else and spending nothing more, I guarantee you that you will not even see retirement because you will get sick from living a terrible life. We should be able to afford these and still retire, the fact that we can't isn't our problem but capitalisms desire.
Yes, if we calculate what we have spent, I think it will make us regret it. This is just a mindset that is usually given by motivators to diligently save or invest. Unfortunately, the real situation is not like that. Sometimes we need something to make us feel better and more enthusiastic, and to make our minds feel fresh again. However, I agree that smoking can be detrimental to a person, because it has so many positive alternatives, especially at a young age.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 05, 2024, 12:03:14 PM
Until now, I also think that when I have a shop, I might receive bitcoin as an alternative payment, and as a long -term investment for me. Unfortunately, in my country, this is not allowed, because the only legal exchange tool is a local currency, and if it is violated, there will be legal consequences. However, it is a pretty good step, so people have an interest in alternative payments, and may use bitcoin as the initial goal is made.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu token, is there a future for this? on: June 04, 2024, 02:19:38 PM
Shiba inu is a meme coin, so there is still a very high risk with Shiba. However, I think the potential for price increases is still there. Meme coins are synonymous with rapid rises and rapid declines, but because Shiba is one of the meme coins that has a large community, I think there is still a future for this meme coin. I think, when this coin crashes, and has no future anymore, I think most of the meme coin world will collapse. Shiba inu is one of the most popular meme coins that I know, so I think there is still a future for this coin. However, the risk is still very large, because it does not remove Shiba Inu from one of the meme coins.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't you think you should invest in Bitcoin instead of burning your money in fire on: June 04, 2024, 12:34:20 PM
Sometimes habits and environment influence a person's activities. In fact, when he focuses on business such as investment, or something like that, when smoking has become a habit, and they are used to it, it is very difficult to give up. Apart from that, there will be many alibis to avoid this, for example, even people who don't smoke find it difficult to do this. Well, I think your goal is very good to give people encouragement to invest, but it all depends on their habits and environment again. Hopefully many people follow this advice.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn money (cryptocurrency) in 2024? on: June 04, 2024, 06:23:48 AM
I think, until now the method is still the same, namely selling services, bounties, airdrops, and others. However, this is starting to feel difficult because until now people are probably more focused on trading and looking for information about meme coins. Anyway, so far I'm still trying to earn crypto through bounties. This year, there are still no bounties that really pay out much. However, I think the people who went after the airdrop have gotten some decent payouts.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get your Dad (or Mom) to buy Bitcoin? on: June 03, 2024, 03:32:50 PM
That was a super long one. Time the easiest way to get my mom and dad to buy Bitcoin is by simply asking them to send me money for something and then use the money to buy Bitcoin and yet tell them that’s what I did. It will save you many stress of explanation. Most of them wouldn’t have interest because they are stuck know it used to be.
LOL, that's a great way. Well, the best way is also to ask them for money to invest, and we use it to invest in bitcoin. Even if you use the DCA method, it doesn't matter. When you have enough bitcoins from your parents' investments, you can buy them a house. However, not all parents are suitable and understand the Bitcoin system. The best way is for them to give us money and support for it.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are advantageous to invest in now on: June 03, 2024, 01:44:19 PM
I think there are many coin choices that can provide profits, whether in memecoin or altcoin, I think it's just a choice and if you are still confused I can recommend coins in the top 10 CMC, where the altcoins in that ranking have a big opportunity to can provide benefits in the future.
If you want lower risk than others, and the potential for quite large profits, the best choice is indeed popular altcoins, especially those that have a ranking on Coinmarketcap. However, coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, and other popular coins still have high upside potential after the Halving occurs this year. Additionally, these popular coins have a higher level of trust, so the risk of scams is very low. However, if you are looking for a coin that still has high profit potential, I also recommend choosing a popular coin.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are People Not Interested To Listen To Success Stories Of Bitcoin Investors? on: June 03, 2024, 12:33:27 PM
I think this is just a matter of perspective from Bitcoin alone. I think the environment you have doesn't really like and know bitcoin. In fact, the people who are disappointed with bitcoin are the ones who probably didn't get much out of it and it wasn't what they thought it would be. It could be that they buy too quickly when prices are high, and sell during a bear market. Then they told it. Apart from that, many people think that bitcoin is a bad investment because many of them only saw bitcoin when it was hype, and when the price made a correction, they were disappointed. I think, if you really want to invest, then I think you just need to find this investment community in your place that can encourage you. Also, try to focus on this investment rather than hearing other people's stories. If your family doesn't like you investing, then do it for yourself. As long as it doesn't harm other people, then stay optimistic.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do your parents invest in bitcoin ? on: June 02, 2024, 09:04:58 AM
They dont, they are old enough and not even following the technology in general. It is even hard for them to use smartphone, mostly they use smartphone for phonecall/messaging only. Even though they know that I am as their son investing in cryptocurrency, they do not really care about it and they do not want to know about it more. Maybe because it is related to education background which is so low in my country, not many people who are in the same age as my parents are well educated in my country.
Well, I also have parents like that. Even they don't really know how to use a smartphone. However, I think they no longer want to think about complicated things, let alone choosing something risky to invest in. So far, they have only chosen gold, or real estate to invest in because they have always been very valuable. However, I don't think we should force them to invest in this technology, so if we are interested, then we just have to utilize it ourselves.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to join airdrop? on: June 02, 2024, 05:25:43 AM
Nowadays airdrops hype is back again and due to some projects gave a decent amount of money among its contributors, people are joining randomly even without analysis anything. And many shit projects announcing airdrops and try to attract investors for their projects. Many shit projects already gained millionaires of subscribers in their channel but they are keep doing fake promises. I would say, you can join airdrop but analysis them. Don't join blindly.
yeah, maybe now there are quite a lot of airdrops that pay pretty well. However, we know that this is still very little compared to the number of airdrops currently. If you want to take part in the airdrop, you should choose a project that has great potential. I think, if you focus on doing all the tasts from various airdrops, it will really waste time.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin House Bali, Indonesia on: June 02, 2024, 03:07:34 AM
I think Indonesia is one of the countries that allows bitcoin as an investment but not as a replacement for their fiat currency. However, if this bitcoin house only aims to introduce and educate, it may be very good for the crypto user community. Since Bali is one of the recommended places for everyone to vacation, I think they are trying to take advantage of this moment to introduce Bitcoin more to people who are visiting and local. Well, maybe one day I will go on holiday there and maybe have a look at the place.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any meme coin challenge bitcoin in future ? on: June 01, 2024, 02:24:28 PM
I firmly believe that meme coin will never be able to beat bitcoin, even in the future. In fact, I feel that popular altcoins like ethereum, BNB, and other coins that have clear utility, and high potential value, are very hard to beat bitcoin. However, as the name suggests, Meme coins are only created without a clear purpose. In fact, people only take advantage of meme coins because their fluctuations are very high and short.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not fall for success stories of bitcoin investors on: June 01, 2024, 10:40:10 AM
I think it is a common thing to tell or share someone's success story in a field. This usually motivates someone to enter the business world if they are really interested. However, what you need to realize is that this is not easy. There will be risks that can be found in any investment. Therefore, wise investors will try to do research before investing. So, it is very natural for someone to look for motivation to enter and be serious about something.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save you against inflation if you invest in & hold it some years on: June 01, 2024, 06:18:20 AM
well, owning bitcoin might save us from inflation because only it goes up continuously. I hope the price can be higher than the current price. Apart from saving from inflation, bitcoin even has very fast growth compared to other investments. Investing in gold can also save us from inflation, but the price movement is a little slow, meaning it will take us quite a long time to feel the benefits of gold. However, if we look at the price of bitcoin 10 years ago, then the current price is really fantastic and I think there is no harm in holding bitcoin in the long term.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can small countries in accepting bitcoin as legal transaction? on: May 30, 2024, 03:11:59 AM
I think it depends on a country's policy. If they really need it, then it is not a problem to accept bitcoin as a payment alternative. Apart from that, there are several countries that have more than 1 legal currency, so I think if a country's circumstances require that, I don't think it's a problem. However, all kinds of considerations must be made, because bitcoin also has a big risk because its price is unstable.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: May 29, 2024, 12:43:04 PM
yeah, this happens all the time, especially with meme coins. they even just pay attention to the charts for that. some of my friends who bought meme coins couldn't even sell the meme coins they had for several reasons. However, being an investor requires precision and patience. Therefore, research is very important before investing. Even the hype that is going on with bitcoin, very many ordinary people in my area are looking for how to invest in bitcoin when they hear that the price of bitcoin is really going high. They don't know that bitcoin has a large degree of volatility.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest in Bitcoin because others are investing in Bitcoin on: May 29, 2024, 09:27:59 AM
In my opinion, it's better to invest in Bitcoin because you understand the concept it has, the usages here, and the potential it can provide in the future.
The others are just riding the trend, and their acquaintances are saying, in short, they are just hyped because of the story told to them.

That's why some people always say to always do your own research. Let's not forget this thing that everyone is told.
Well, if someone is interested in investing in bitcoin, it would be better if he finds out information about bitcoin in depth. That would be better because he would know how bitcoin works and brings profit to him. I feel that such investors are wise investors. In addition, people who sometimes buy bitcoin just because of the hype or following other people are investors who will only come once in a while, who may be more easily disappointed if things don't move the way they want.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't advice anyone to invest on Bitcoin if he doesn't have Alt. income on: May 29, 2024, 05:21:07 AM
sometimes he tells me that he's afraid to invest his money on the bitcoin due to the potential losses.

You potentially could lose everything you own. It's possible for your house to burn down, your bank to go bankrupt, your car to be stolen. Are you afraid it will happen? Are you losing sleep every night thinking about it? I sure don't.

Yes' there's a chance to lose everything when you buy bitcoin, but there's also a chance to lose it all when you continue to hold fiat money.
IMO buying bitcoin is one of the smartest things you can do in life.
Well, the fact is that investing is very risky, which is why the profits offered are so large. If someone had said it like that, they really didn't want to take the risk. However, many people want to take risks when they realize that investment is important, and taking risks when we still have a source of income is something that is highly emphasized, especially when we are still far from financial freedom.
