181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: December 07, 2023, 10:28:44 AM
Those things that generate income are always interesting. There are many altcoin options, the choice is yours. But you need to be as confident as possible in your choice, mistakes in the altcoin market can really lead to significant financial losses. Invest only what you can afford to lose.
Well, it seems like almost everyone says that altcoins are still profitable, that's why many people are still interested today. Moreover, the prices vary, with different potential. Many people place high hopes on altcoins at low prices so that they can make huge profits from it. After all, it's all about benefits and profits. Apart from that, I also feel that people who think that bitcoin has a very high price, and it is difficult for them to exploit it to get maximum profits, then they will choose altcoins for that.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: December 07, 2023, 09:17:11 AM
While I am still using some of these altcoins that I am going to say and mainly for transfers but if we're going to talk about them for investments, I wouldn't hold them for that.

  • XRP
  • TRX
  • Dogecoin
So far, I have never bought this coin again, but that doesn't mean I will never buy it again. when I see the profit potential from there, I will probably buy some coins. So far, I have only focused on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB. Additionally, I bought some USDT for necessities. Additionally, I never buy any coins unless I see potential profit there. I think it's not good if we buy something profitable when we know its potential just because of the commitment we have. However, as long as the coin still has benefits and development, I think there is no harm in buying it in the future.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not share your bitcoin holdings with everyone on: December 06, 2023, 04:45:56 PM
I was listening to a news that one of the relatives of a person kidnapped him and asked him for bitcoin in ransom. This happened because that person showed his bitcoin holdings to many of his relatives and news spread among them that he has lot of money invested in crypto. Though, finally funds were recovered from that guy but he could have even lost his life in the whole scenario. Thus, you should be careful with disclosing about your bitcoin holdings to everyone.
Well, I agree with that. we don't know bad people may be around us, and we don't realize their goals. However, showing off bitcoins or even anything valuable that we own in public, would be very risky. Not only bad people, but people who are ready to hack your device will also look for information about these assets. So, I think things like that need to have privacy.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will invest the money to buy the land in Bitcoin. on: December 06, 2023, 11:01:57 AM
it's a bold plan, and if it works, then it will really bring you huge profits. However, I think that you need to save some of the money you have in Fiat as an emergency fund. We don't know what will happen in the future, because as far as I know, there are many people who try to invest all the money they have, but they are forced to sell the investments they have cheaply because of an emergency.
So, I think if you want to try investing in bitcoin for the long term, to buy land, that's not a problem, many people do that, but make sure the money for daily needs, savings, emergency money, and others is also met. because if not, then it could threaten your investment in the future.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Established Altcoins or new potential coins this bullrun ? on: December 06, 2023, 06:48:39 AM
I think that we should make the best use of this moment. Namely by choosing coins that already exist, are popular, and have high potential. it's best to focus on bitcoin and popular altcoins, because chances are, their prices will rise when a bullrun occurs.
Actually, it's not a problem to try to find potential new coins, but focusing on the portfolio we create is the main priority to get maximum profits. Yes, but maybe some people want to look for new, cheap altcoins with great potential, but the risk is that the profits they get may not be optimal, or they won't even make a profit.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should altcoins be blamed? on: December 05, 2023, 09:37:46 AM
I don't know why so many people hate altcoins, but if they hate crypto because of the losses they experienced on the altcoins they invested in, then I don't think that's a wise thing. As we know, investment is a risky thing, especially for crypto. If these people looked for information before investing in crypto, I'm sure they would find lots of warnings that this is a very risky investment, therefore they would be pressured to look for information and do in-depth research.
When they suffer a big loss, they should be ready for it. I think, when they hate crypto or bitcoin for reasons like that, then I feel that they are just looking for a place to get angry because the investments they made resulted in losses, and, that is not a wise thing.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which good altcoins can I hold along with Bitcoin for the upcoming halving? on: December 05, 2023, 08:17:06 AM
This literally the first halving I'm going to experience since knowing about bitcoin. So I've already started holding Bitcoin and lately the progression  has been going well!!.So I've some Lil funds with me but I'm thinking of which good altcoins I can hold for the upcoming  halving, that's going to also skyrocket too. I was thinking about ETH, BNB and SOL. But still, I  need recommendations from you guys about the best altcoins to hold for the halving please.
In fact, all the altcoins you mentioned are recommendations that people often give. If you want to focus on 1 altcoin, then it's ethereum. I think, when the halving comes, having Bitcoin and Ethereum in our wallets will be a very good thing. Actually, Bitcoin alone is enough, however, if you want altcoins, then Ethereum is also good enough. If you want to add another altcoin to your portfolio, then choose the 10 best altcoins on CMC.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will USTC hit 1$ again and be a stable coin ? on: December 05, 2023, 06:25:19 AM
When a project has lost the trust of investors, it will be difficult for the project to return to its normal state. even when the price goes back to $1, I'm not sure it can stay that way for long. However, USTC really disappointed quite a lot of people, especially with the case of its CEO. This makes me think that this coin will never be a stable coin again. I still wonder why this coin is still on the market since this project fell.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Compounding altcoin profits in bull run? on: December 04, 2023, 05:42:47 PM
if the strategy you work on is successful, then that will be very good. Just try it first using not very large capital, for example $10. When your method works, then you need to increase it to $20, $50, or any number you like. I just suggest choosing the lowest risk, and trying to generate high profits.
I think quite a lot of people have tried this method, but I think they keep the results a secret, so the potency is still 50:50. You just need to try it to see the potential benefits of this strategy.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: December 04, 2023, 03:51:53 PM
Currently Altcoins are start growing and crypto market condition is pretty good as every where is green. And many of us expected that, bull will come soon and so people already start analysis for which altcoins should buy and could be best investment for bull run. But as we know, market goes a little down when it comes to BTC Halving, which will be happened probably on 24th april, 2024.
So are you going to pick your altcoins Now??  Or During/After BTC Halving while you can buy altcoins with low price?
we don't know what will happen in the future, so if you are ready to invest, then do it now. After all, our circumstances can change at any time, and our decisions can change too. When you want to invest, do it now. If the price of altcoins during the halving period drops, then you only need to buy them again to increase your investment. Meanwhile, if the price rises, you can feel the results of your investment. However, both are good, but sometimes when that time comes, people's decisions will usually be different and they may hesitate to invest again.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: December 04, 2023, 02:51:07 PM
I am sorry to hear that you have a bad experience with investing in altcoins It is really  disappointing when your investments do not work like you hope. The cryptocurrency market is known for having some scams.... So it is important to do your research before investing in any altcoin.

Sometimes we saw that a project may look really promising at first with a good team and lot of people supporting it (like Luna and FTT).But remember one thing it is important to think first and never fall in scam quickly do a proper research.

And It is also a good idea to spread your investments and never put all your money into one cryptocurrency. If you get any loss from one side so... definitely you will get some benifits from other side. And it is better if you will concern to any experienced people they will give you a better idea(and I really hope they will give you Idea to invest in Bitcoin).

But keep in mind that investing in cryptocurrencies is risky so it is important to be careful. Any project can scam or collapse and you have some examples like Luna and FTT.

And in my recommendation only one coin in which you can believe that is Bitcoin and just Bitcoin.
Yes, in reality it is like that. I have owned many altcoins that I thought would have high prices in the future, but the CEO was suspected of fraud and scam. It's not just one altcoin that is like that if we look into the past, but many altcoins are like that. The OP is not the only victim, but there are a lot of people who used to think that the few altcoins they held could make them rich, and now think that bitcoin is the only profitable crypto. However, I don't blame people who have views like that, because I have felt that way too. However, I still believe that some popular altcoins could have high prices in the future.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: December 02, 2023, 10:57:30 AM
The only one cryptocurrency that deserves such a huge amount of money is btc, since you didn't specify what cryptocurrency then my suggestion would be btc.
Such a huge amount of money deserves a trusted cryptocurrency and which other crypto that is as trusted as the number coin? There you have my opinion free of charge.  Cool

Yes, right. the best crypto is bitcoin. If you aim to invest for the long term, and in large amounts, it would be very wise to choose the best type of crypto, and that is bitcoin. In fact, people who have $10k to invest are recommended to still choose Bitcoin. Yes, but it all depends on the fund selector. some people also suggest not keeping everything in 1 basket, and dividing the investment with popular altcoins like ethereum.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: December 01, 2023, 09:47:56 AM
Investing is meme coins is somewhat risky because the name “meme coin” tells a lot on how they are backed by nothing. Nevertheless, if you have invested in meme coins before then you do not need any introduction because you’ll know that meme coins follow hype (even though some of them like Dogecoin may have use case). I’ll really urge you to do proper reaserch on which meme coin you want to invest in, make sure that you personally see a potential (not what someone told you), then you invest what you can afford to lose just Incase it goes bad.
Many people hope that meme coin can be like Doge, therefore they really hope that there is a right time to invest. Even though it is possible, it is difficult to happen. If we believe that the Meme coins we own will have a high price, then starting to invest now will be the same as starting to invest in the future. however, we don't know when this coin will actually have a high price. the risk is still very large, and the price could drop to very low.
194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to have a stop loss if we are 100% positive about a trade? on: December 01, 2023, 07:41:45 AM
I have been into trading for many years but I have never used stop-loss myself because I believe that stop-losses won't help a trader to improve his/her trading abilities. The stop-losses are something that will protect a trader from losing a lot of money in a trade but if a trader doesn't conquer the fear then that's the worst thing I guess.

I have won many trades and I've also lost many trades but I have never used a stop-loss for a single time and that has helped me as a trader to improve the areas that needed that improvement. I'm not really against stop-losses but I believe they can cause fear in the mind of a trader and the trader might not take risks if he/she fears about the losses that take place if the trades go wrong.

I would like to know that what you guys think about stop-losses, and how often you guys use stop-losses to avoid getting huge losses in your trades?
It's up to you whether you want or not to use the stop loss method when the market is in bad condition. If you believe that your assets will rise again, then it's not a problem. However, stop loss is one method to stop deep losses that can occur, but it does not mean that the person actually stops. Sometimes people use this method to buy back when the price is at a lower price, to get a larger amount of assets, in the hope that, when the price rises, we will have lots of assets that we can sell to take advantage of the bear market by that method.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coin memes don't have a project? Is it worth buying for the long term? on: December 01, 2023, 05:08:04 AM
the reason I bought meme coin was that I only took advantage of short-term profits. I think most people do the same thing. Apart from that, I feel that meme coin is not worth holding for a long period of time, because the risks are very large, especially in large amounts. However, there are some people who are holding some meme coins, and hope that the price will go higher. However, they only hold popular meme coins such as Doge, Shiba, and others.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is more profitable? on: November 30, 2023, 11:47:51 AM
Just one bitcoin
Bitcoin is the most profitable crypto to all investors. Bitcoin is the first digital asset to hit the crypto market. In fact it was more profitable for its early investors.
Yes, Bitcoin has always been a priority coin compared to altcoins. However, when referring to altcoins, the Top altcoins on Coinmarketcap are the most recommended altcoins. We know quite well that the price of bitcoin is quite high, and usually new investors will not be satisfied if they only have 0.00x or 0.000x BTC. So, sometimes they look for altcoins that have almost the same potential, and popular altcoins are the answer. If it comes down to something more important, then I think bitcoin is at the top of the pyramid in the crypto world. It's just that, it requires a lot of capital to make a lot of profit on Bitcoin.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: November 30, 2023, 09:34:53 AM
If you are asking Altcoin in general , there is always safe altcoins to invest and those are Ethereum ,
Binance and  Ripple because they have proven to be strong and worth investing coin so the question should be addressed
in Shitcoins or those bs meme coins .

https://coinmarketcap.com/

Just find your coins in top 5-10 currency and you will be safe mate.
well, the top 10 coins on CMC are actually the best altcoins to invest in. In fact, while investing in altcoins is risky, investing in the top 10 coins has less risk than the others. Apart from that, many speculate that 2024 is the year when crypto prices will rise, because the halving occurred that year, and based on experience in previous halving years, crypto prices always rise. So, I think that now is a good time to invest in altcoins even with all the risks involved.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BNB now? on: November 30, 2023, 07:56:01 AM
With all the FUD that Binance has suffered, the exchange is still the main exchange in the space shows something, that Binance is here to stay. The token dumped seriously and the price has not caught up with the recent pump in the market, out of all the top project in the space in terms of fundamentals BNB is still the most undervalued, they are launching new L2 soon, as we enter the bull market there will be increase in number of projects listed on Launchpool and Launchpad all these will drive the price up, this is a free 10X to me the risk to reward is very low, and I will be adding to it with time, especially if the price dumped
Honestly, I still remain optimistic about BNB in the future. Until now Binance is still the best exchange, and it may only be a matter of time until everything returns to normal. I also think it's a good idea to buy BNB little by little, especially when the price is dumping like it is right now. Sooner or later, I'm sure the price movement will return to normal.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacks in November on: November 29, 2023, 11:44:25 AM
-snip-
Do you know? most hacked is always targeting third-service providers.

The attacker cannot attack a network, because is impossible they always attack a service-platform. You want to avoid these kind of case? stored your coin with your own wallet while you can have fully-control of your asset.

Not stored coin in exchange because "Not Your Key, Not Your Crypto".
that is very correct. Hackers always attack third parties, and maybe in the future that might happen again. Within 1 month, quite a lot of places were targeted by hackers, and I think when third parties were targeted, the victims were the users who stored their crypto there.
That's why, until now, many people have advised us not to store the crypto we have on exchanges. It would be better to keep it in our controlled wallet, and maybe a hard wallet is the best.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: Inventing a job is better than finding a job on: November 29, 2023, 07:03:38 AM
I think this depends on a person's condition. Almost everyone wants to build their own job so they can recruit people who need jobs. Unfortunately, this is usually limited by money. Because of this, many people prefer to find a job first to make money.
Personally, I am currently trying to create my own work. I have several businesses that can support my needs, so I try to expand them to increase my income, and try to create jobs for other people. However, it could be said that this path has greater risks, compared to people who already have jobs.
