Hello all, Regarding the situation, first of all, Stan from DuckDice approached me about escrowing the campaign to my email. After discussing back and forth we came to a decision that they would be managing the campaign and I would just be distributing the funds weekly. Unfortunately the whole conversation went on via email, and I wasn't aware of their previous open scam accusation (which happened ~2 years ago). It was naive for me to accept them without researching further, which I'm extremely sorry for at this point. I will be sending back the funds from escrow to DuckDice and make a statement [1] on their thread regarding my withdrawal of escrow from the campaign. I know I made a wrong decision here. But it would be nice if the feedback to my profile are restated neutrally with the facts about my nativity, as I'm neither working with DuckDice nor have I "actively" helped them to promote their site (as the current feedback states). I just wanted to guarantee the safety of payments being distributed at the end of the day.
I think it is likely he is doing more than just escrowing the funds. For instance, the thread has the exact same awful font and formatting as notaek's Magnumwallet campaign. I wouldn't be surprised if he at least has access to the Duckdice Pr account. They have asked me to create a campaign thread on their behalf and send them the template. I accepted their request, provided they credited me for it. That's why it's the same.
Anyway, there's a lot to learn everyday and this surely opened my eyes. Feel free to ask me any questions regarding this situation or something I might have missed that needs an explanation. ~notaek

Does this thread sound like an emotional tantrum? Yes, its your tantrum. Participants aren't entitled to have exceptional rules when the campaign follows certain rules throughout. Why should a project get away with picking their own exchange rate and having the campaign manager accept this and not pay the campaigners what they signed up for? It's called terms of a contract. My management fees was also based on the same USD pegged value (which was $100) and I received $96 in BTC at the end of the campaign. Did I complain like you? I was already aware of the fact that I would get much less with that rate, as Nibyx dev already stated me the terms. The amount of money involved is trivial. This is not about that. It's about dishonesty. There's nothing about dishonesty here. I have clearly stated the link from the beginning of the campaign. Those who agreed to the terms went ahead and applied, those who didn't, moved on. If I had remained silent about the exchange rate and not mentioned anywhere about it until the very end then I would have been dishonest here. But that's never happened. Seems like you didn't read the thread fully before applying. If you feel comfortable getting scammed in a petty way like this, you get what you deserve. Shit like this ought to be called out.

It was $7407 at the time of payment. I made a mistake of inserting wrong image in the spreadsheet which was taken 30 minutes before assessment. Sorry about that. |

CZ (Founder of Binance) is not a good guy, he used to have confliction with Xu MingXing(founder of OKEX). He knows very little about technical issues. Why Binance succeeded now, bcz all the crypto exchanges had to shut down during the September.4th for crypto ban policy in China, but he insisted on keeping Binance opening as usual for his Canadian nationality. That seems odd. How did he find a connection between CZ and OKEX in the first place? |

Do they have somewhere a clear list of what are going to be the fees for these cards? All I could find was that the fees will be revealed after the cards are launched...
I think that implementation would be similar to how normal cards charge. Will have to wait for their response on that though. This looks interesting. There is no ico payment project that has created any cooperation with VISA and i remember tenx was created a cooperation with mastercard. I guess there will be another pump if that news is true story. I can't wait to see how the development will be going on.
I still don't believe that to be honest. They need to be more transparent on their co-operation and make a statement about it with a disclaimer if any. They'll soon replace the insanely costly debit and credit cards issued by banks and would become a better way to exchange to fiat.
We won't need Bitcoin ATMs anymore.

Cardano is ridiculously overhyped and overpriced, compared to other coins. It's a hard fact that there's no working product here. The marketing is terrible and most of the people buying it have no idea why they're buying it. “You have to understand that privacy is a spectrum, and also, it is one that carries considerable regulatory discussion. For example, Japan just announced that they’re probably going to de-list all the privacy coins. So if we wish to be in the Japanese markets and we were to embrace Monero-style privacy, there’s a very low probability that Japanese exchanges will list Ada, which is a high priority for us.”
If I consider privacy as an important asset, then I would rather choose Monero over Cardano since the former has higher level of transparency and has a higher userbase with brains. The devs of Cardano are trying to pull a stunt here. |

What's the advantage of having such bots over opting in for explorers?
Is there any added feature like notifying me of an incoming transaction or do I have to use that "/" command every time to look for an address?
I would rather have an added functionality over using explorers before I can be convinced to use it further.

Not necessarily. The dump isn't always because of bounty hunters dumping their percentage off in an exchange. It might also mean early investors getting out of the scene after knowing certain flaws in an ICO or losing credibility thereafter. Some ICOs lock tokens in 2 month for bounty campains. It is unfair. Bounty hunter do invite, PR,... for projects but they take less profit than investor.
It all boils down to the exact ICO in the first place. If you don't like their terms, then don't apply. Simple. |
