I personally think the dollar should be banned because that is what everyone is currently using for illicit activity.

I do agree that there is a bit of a hurdle when entering bitcoin from cash. Unfortunately coinbase and bitpay don't offer the functionality you pose in your post. For someone to enter BTC they would need to go through the coinbase verification processes.
That is why localbitcoins is better and quicker. For general BTC buying? Once you get verified for instant purchases on coinbase I would have to say that it is cheaper and more convenient than local BTC, although they both have their benefits.

I could do this. However, I would like to see some positive feedback from trusted people. A guy with 6 posts vouching for you doesn't prove much to me. I can't know if those trades actually went through.
The best solution would be some sort of collateral, although you say you have nothing to offer.

Not many people will lend to a newbie member.

BTC jam is absolutely terrible. I invested in a couple guys who had the max trust rating possible, yet all of them defaulted. That seems to be the consensus on the site. Notice how most of the people that have said they actually had a good experience with btcjam were all newbie accounts.

No escrow? seems legit.
Believe what you want but if you don't trust me we could always do a small transaction to build trust. I buy these and resell from a DNM site so I do not have access to the btc until you give me some. Plus the most expensive one is $12 not really worth a scam. I can try getting a loan to provide escrow with you on one a small transaction and then we could proceed without escrow if you plan on buying a lot. I also should have enough BTC within this month to provide escrow. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'm going to be buying a spotify membership. Will update with how it goes.

Still have the cards. looking to sell.
|
|
|
I would be willing to do $310 each on the cards now
|
|
|
How much?
For the cards I'd be willing to do $350 each with a riser cable, but the price will change depending on how many are purchased. If you are interested in any of the other stuff just make an offer.
|
|
|
I would actually be willing to part these out now.
|
|
|
Can you please give me your Skype? I may be interested in a psu and riser cables. Maybe even a few cards if you have decent bulk prices. Message me my skype is: Chedduh420
I don't want to sell the parts individually

I have 24 XFX 280x graphics cards that are unopened, new in box. I also have all of the hardware required to build 4 mining computers that can support six graphics cards each.
Here is a list of the items available:
GPU: (24x) XFX Radeon R9 280x - $310 each CPU: (4x) Intel Pentium G3220 - socket Z87 RAM: (4x) Kingston 4gb 1600 MHz PSU: (8x) Fractal Design Newton R3 1000W Platinum HDD: (4x) WD RE WD250 Mobo: (4x) MSI Z87-G55 - supports 6 gpus
Plus I have all required cables, dual power supply cables and risers.
I would like to sell all of these items in sets. The minimum order would be all of the parts to build one mining rig (6 cards, 1 cpu, 1 ram, 2 psus, 1 hdd, 1 mobo, and all required cables). If you are interested, make an offer for the parts for these mining rigs. One rig will hash in excess of 4 MHs.
I will do escrow if you find the agent.

Would you be willing to use escrow?

I read about fried Asrock Pro BTC boards when people used them with powered risers but also heard claims that without powered risers only 2-3 cards would work.
I'm planning on building a rig with an Asrock Pro BTC mobo in mind with 5 cards, but with 2-3 types of video cards, with different power consumptions. So what would be the safest route to take?
Always use powered risers and if you don't understand what I just wrote, let me put it a different way.............................. ALWAYS FREAKING USE POWERED RISERS! There! Get it? Got it? Good! My $.02. Not for the asrock H81 Pro BTC motherboard. It provides supplemental molex power to the PCIe ports already, so powered risers would be redundant and likely to cause a short circuit as described in threads in the past.

Misleading title. $50 off retail would be $250.. I see these cards selling many places for around $300.
An accurate title would be "$50 off the most expensive 280x you can find"
Really? If you are serious, I would love to see where these cards are selling for $300. I guess I may not have been looking hard enough. At newegg, the cheapest you will find is $400, and the model that I will be providing is $420. The most expensive one is actually $480, so the title would say $100 off retail price if I was using the most expensive one I could find. Everyone is giving you crap because $300 is the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). About a month ago that is what the cards were selling for. I got 8 before they went up. You however are still selling for cheaper than most. Seriously I would just list unlimited on eBay and see how you fare. Most people hear aren't going to want to pay more than MSRP. I think that will be the way to go. Tough crowd.
