1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: August 01, 2018, 04:33:48 AM
Zcash is worth it to invest in because they have lot of community that continue investing making it to the top 20 of  https://coinmarketcap.com list. There is no reason why it coins is potentially profitable for how many years.
It seems to me that if you invest in Zcash now, then by the end of the year you will get a small profit and therefore I would have better invested in BTC.

I agree. There are some other coin based on Zcash and have more active user community.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: May 26, 2018, 08:12:13 PM
I do not advise you to invest in Zcash.  I think this is not a good choice.  I think by the end of the year the price for Zcash will not grow much.

It is one of the most famous anonymous coin. So it might succeed.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: April 08, 2018, 07:16:46 PM
I bought a little Zcash, and I think that this year will be good growth. It's great news, which will contribute to a further upward movement.

With the upcoming improvements for ZCash, I think that it has a huge potential to increase in price in the future. Right now, it's been struggling to get past the $500 USD mark, but it's good in the sense that prices are relatively stable. Perhaps, once founder's reward period is over and ZEC enforces shielded transactions by default on the network, then prices will head above the $500 mark for sure.

It only needs time to improve itself to become one of the best privacy coins around in the market. Considering today's prices for ZCash, I think that it is quite a bargain, as it will become extremely valuable in the future.

Nevertheless, only time will tell what lies ahead for ZEC's future, but all we could do is invest and hodl our coins for the long term. Just my opinion Smiley

I agree. The price of ZEC will stay low for the short term. After a few months, the price will rise with Bitcoin Cash.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite 3 altcoins and why? on: November 06, 2017, 10:41:01 AM
prefer litecoin eth and btc because every time currency exchange is always smooth and time is not too long to wait for it.
it's all the coins that I choose too but maybe we can add one more coin that is now being good waves because already many people who choose

That is right. These are the good ones. We might add Bitcoin Cash as well. You can trade it in many exchanges now.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: September 10, 2017, 02:08:42 PM
Zcash less a priority to be an option in investing, with the lack of which has been mentioned friends here. Just boom at the beginning, and end up like most altcoins, ie down and more. Zcash more suitable for altcoin to earn profit from trading.

Couldn't agree more with you, mate. ZCash is more ideal for short term investing, rather than using the same as a serious investment tool for the long term. When it first started, it was within the $1k range, but quickly dropped in value. It is up to this point, where ZEC has been having a hard time trying to rise back to its original levels, since it cannot provide innovation where other altcoins have taken the lead.

If ZEC would've implemented a cross-platform wallet with user friendliness in the first place, then it would've had a major interest from everyday people helping it gain momentum in the mainstream world. But, the way I see it, development for ZEC is too slow and it may take a couple of years (if it ever does) to see a real wallet become released for it.

Another thing, is that the privacy part of ZEC is not enforced by default, making the majority of transactions take place in the transparent area of it, instead of driving more usage towards Shielded Transactions. Those who are not tech savvy will believe that their transactions are being private, when in reality it is not (unless they use the Shielded Transactions feature). In this part, I think that Monero wins as it enforces privacy over every transaction, making it nearly impossible to track any balance within a block explorer. Just my thoughts Grin

If the ZEC force the anonymity in every transaction, can it compete with Monero?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: April 15, 2017, 02:03:28 PM
You said it right. I think it is the same story with Ethereum...so many people considered it to be done when last year it experienced so many challenges and problems but look what happened now the value is rising and it is now considered to be the number two. As to Zcash, if there is really a good community of people behind this one, then we can expect it to soon rise again in value. I know it has a history of being overvalued but this day it is now setting to where it should be. Zcash remains to be in the top 10 and that is already a feat in the first place.

That is mostly true. But I believe, that most altcoins out there like Ethereum are just hype. Being an inflationary cryptocurrency, it is not meant to be a store of value, in which I believe that it is a little overvalued these days.

Considering that ETH, has violated the principles of immutability (which it is a key feature of the blockchain) and has shifted its view towards banks and big corporations, it may turn out to become centralized at some point in the future.

As for ZEC, it is also hype, as the only great feature it has is its anonymity technology, but lacks a GUI wallet and its inability to become used in other platforms like Windows and Mac. This certainly limits its ability to become mainstream, as people would want something easy to use without any prior technical knowledge involved.

But in the bright side, both ZEC and ETH have dedicated development teams (which most alts lack of), that will help them become more secure and deliver innovations as time goes by. If all goes well, then I expect for both cryptocurrencies to become mainstream. Just my thoughts.  Grin

The inflation of the Ethereum will be reduced in the future. A small inflation is actually good for the economy.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: March 18, 2017, 06:17:13 PM
Last week (during whole week) there was a buy wall at the price of 0.03. I am not sure the exact quantity, but i think they bought more than 200 bitcoin equal Zcash at this price. I think this coin has the potential and will bring good profit for the investor in the future.

The ZEC is still in early stage. If you buy some and hold for the long term, you might make some profits.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why i think we should reduce the block size on: February 24, 2017, 08:48:45 AM
Nobody uses Bitcoin as a currency to buy stuff, everybody is holding and in for a profit,

Speak for yourself.
And I seriously doubt that you have ever even invested in bitcoin or get anything apart from your signature spam payment.

I agree. I use bitcoin quite a lot. So the transaction speed is important.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: January 03, 2017, 03:58:22 PM

About the founder rewards and it's referring in zcash all about money. Roll Eyes lack of development and innovation, fully with fake hype. I may agree with the komodo platform, because the active innovation. but what about the shit coin like zcoin. It was totally shit right now.   Cool
My guess KOMODO will be the number one of the zero proof coin soon.

Completely agree with you mate. Among all other Zero Knowledge Proof cryptocurrencies, I think that Komodo will remain at the top while the others will follow. ZCash will continue with its hype until people realize that it was nothing rather than another altcoin, thus turning their attention into better and well developed coins that provide true innovation and stability.

As for me, will continue to watch over ZCash's price and development over time and see how it will be after 4 years. If all goes well into it, then I might invest a little into it, otherwise I will stick with Komodo and good old Monero.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to see the technology of Zero Knowledge Proof to mature over time and become widely used among merchants, businesses, and everyday users. Smiley
The hype of ZEC had gone,  Just remaining a little whale waste his money to pump it sometimes. Interesting for watch it.  Grin

wait a year after ZEC was running and we can make any conclusion about that.

There is a lot of potential in the zero knowledge proof.
Depends on how we can be digging it.

The hype is gone. So we can buy cheaply and wait for the pump.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: December 20, 2016, 11:12:53 AM

All of them was running with the zero knowledge. But KOMODO was preferring for my personally.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/zcash/
At this time the supply at 216k.
The current price of ZEC 0.056 and assuming about if the supply was an increase until a million ZEC and the current price will be divided.
Might the other price of ZEC if the supply will touch a million.
0.056/3(at a million supply the total was tripled with the current supply) 0.018 for each ZEC.
This trend will be running for few years later.  Roll Eyes

Agree. I think that after the first four years of mining since launch of Zcash, we will be able to see its true price. Miners will keep mining for founders reward until the period of four years is over, which is why I think that by then the price of ZEC would stabilize.

If I were to pick the best Zero Knowledge Proof coin right now, it would be Komodo. It has pretty amazing features like dPoW which will make the network as strong as Bitcoin itself. Just sharing my thoughts.  Grin

That is right. But the price drop rate has already reduced.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: December 06, 2016, 02:35:01 PM
Zcash price has been increased too much after it got listed in poloniex and maybe it is overvalued but we had similar thoughts about ethereum too when it got listed in the exchanges, zcash gradually is dropping these days so I am afraid it will crash soon.

Yeah I think so too. In a few more years, ZCash would be worthless and become like the rest of the altcoins with a very low marketcap. Unless, ZCash brings something new and exciting, that would really increase its usability and acceptance of merchants around the world, then the dream of it becoming a very popular cryptocurrency would be very distant, thus resulting into other forks taking the lead like ZClassic.

Also, if ZCash didn't have the founders reward, then I'm pretty sure that the price would always had a positive uptrend on the markets, instead of constantly declining each day.

If you take a good look at ZCash, it is just another BTC clone with the only difference of having the ability to make anonymous transactions with a Z_address which separates itself from the t_address (which stands for transparent address). In my own opinion, this should've been implemented into Bitcoin the first place, instead of making another altcoin.  Smiley

The ZCash has active development. So that is different from many scam coins. It is possible that it will survive long.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: November 21, 2016, 08:36:56 AM
Not right now but in the future I believe it might. Price discovery is impossible right now.

I saw this on http://zcash.flypool.org/

Because of another bug in Zcash version 1.0.2 we are still unable to send transactions to z addresses! Therefore DO NOT use z addresses to mine on the pool for now.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: October 12, 2016, 06:08:36 PM
With 20k I would recommend to put a big part in bitcoin and leave it there as you could see even last night prices went up by approx. 20 USD which is a nice profit on this share.
Other big part of the money you could trade with and try to actively gain money over there.

80% to be put in the bitcoin and 20% to be put in the oil stocks. Both will rise in the long term.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: September 19, 2016, 05:21:51 PM
Why don't you try to invest your money and buy bitcoins and try to lend it in lending section that has 10% percent interest ever week or 1 percent per day.. or just hold your bitcoin and wait for the price increase and sell it when the price reach high above $500 before halving ends.. so that you can make lots of profit than investing it the banks low interest..
that's a good idea to open lending service, it's profitable if you can get "good collateral" .
holding is good idea too, for secure long term project.

The main problem of lending is that you need to have good collateral. Otherwise, it could lose you money.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: September 05, 2016, 06:58:56 AM
i think you could invest this bitcoin into alt coin mining as this will give you profit

It is quite risky to invest in the altcoin mining. The mining difficulty is rising fast and the price of altcoin is not rising.

the price of altcoin do depend on its usage and demand , when a coin do not have any usage in the market then the price of it do not increase while if there some need occurred in the market for its usage then the price of it increases.

That is right. The Monero has found some usage in the dark market, so the price has risen quite a lot recently.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: August 22, 2016, 02:09:10 PM
Hey folks,

I've finally got around $20k to invest in long-term. No, unfortunately I cannot put this on a bank to get like 10-15% per year, I'd need something way more good.
What would you recommend? Mining? Other crypto?

Investors, please get me some cool ideas.

Thanks in advance,
Marcell

I would either go with mining or to buy bitcoins for that amount, you  can invest that money into good mining site to earn profit, or you can buy and sell bitcoins for profit too
Hm.. I don't think mining will be profitable to invest because the electric cost + maintenance fee will take off your profit !and after halving the profits have been halved so i don't recommend investing to mining but its good to start your own some small business with it !
But before you can make a final definition about the mining is profitable or not after halving better to make calculate about it, if until this time mining is not profitable and why a lot of miners doesn't retire from this job?and still doing this job until this time?

If the difficulty of the mining of the bitcoin does not increase in the next 12 months, then it is profitable to mine.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: August 06, 2016, 09:13:02 AM
That is very big amount to invest but if i were you i think you may keep it in your bitcoin wallet. And wait the value of bitcoin will rise and your money get double. But you need patient to wait until the price rise get 100% profits.

i think that's good idea, but not the best idea, because hold is not make your bitcoin growing, i think trade is best solution, we can sell our bitcoin then buy back with take 1-2% permonth, so in 1year we can growing our money arround 12-24% it's better than holding Smiley

yeah, trade is much better with that we can get double profit, the first profit as increased value of bitcoin and the other profit as the increased amount of bitcoin with us through trading.

Trading is good if you can time the buying/selling right. Otherwise, it is better just to buy and hold the coins.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: July 23, 2016, 06:24:41 PM
with bitcoin technology it is possible to make around 1% daily(hardly) or normally about 0.5% of your money daily from trading

Have you made daily 0.5% in the last year? If that is true, you will make 600% every year. You will be a billionaire in a few years.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400 will not hold on: July 08, 2016, 11:25:12 AM
I think of the price of bitcoin is being survive, and grow, although sometimes the price dropped very much, but I'm sure the price will last bitcoin, bitcoin price may not be less than $ 550 today

I think the bitcoin price could $700 in the next few months. If the SegWit is proved to be succesful, the price will be higher.

So SegWit could make or break the bitcoin. I do hope it is robust and make the bitcoin accessible to everybody,

According the Lauda, the SegWit has been tested on the testnet for several months. So it could be quite good.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: June 23, 2016, 07:06:24 PM
$20,000 is a lot of money. It is better not to mine if your electricity price is high. It is better to buy bitcoin when the price is low.
