There is always an opinion that these ASICs were mined when the profit was very large, and after the end of mining, the company decided to sell them. If they mine Ethereum Classic later, the payback could be long. Video cards are now cheaper.
for me 10k plus 3000 trump tax and 6% New Jersey sales tax means about 14k for 2.5gh I can get 3060ti for under 500 so 28 of them does 1.68 gh 3 year warranty I can get rtx a2000 at 350 so 40 of them do 1.6 gh and 3 year warranty. my power cost is low so I don’t worry that I would use a bit more power. I like that the cards can work on many algos. would have been nice to have those asics last year. 2500 are 41 3060ti not 28. 41 3060ti cost about 20.500 used. E9 cost 10k plus customs or whatever

Still waiting for the resurrection of Hodlcoin. We are here! HODL!

I think you guys never tried a good closed rig with right air pressure. Space between cards is enought if air flow is correct. With many kind of gpus (5600/5700 for example) you can take off fans from the gpus. Open rig can work only in a small environment.

Ambient temp is 22c. All the Gigabyte cards are modified with new thermal pads front and rear(between the PCB and backplate).
Brand used? 2mm, 3mm or a mix?

So 3080’s don’t actually do 100mhs ? If pheonix miners inflated the hashrate wouldnt it be reported 3% lower on the pool side ? 3080s can still do 100mh/s+ without using Phoenix, it's a bit of a silicon lottery. I use Trex miner. 5 x 3080s. 2 do 102.8mh/s, 1 x 100.9mh/s, 1 x 98.8mh/s, 1 x 96mh/s In fact, I had to stop using Phoenix miner for my 3080 rig as I got way too many stale shares. All these figures are a bit pointless without mentioning power level/draw etc. I'm sure even my Shitabyte Gaming OC can do these figures if I increase power. Hopefully this suits your needs. Included the memory temps for the Shitabyte Gaming OC cards The "hot" one is the MSI Suprim. https://imgur.com/a/Bjua0cLCan you share your settings? 73/76c junction temp is really impressive. environment temp? Gigabyte version?

For the price of around 1k EUR a piece wasn't too much thinking given. Have few days to think how to proceed, getting a TB3 or just gut them out (which is possible).
Great buy for 1k

PS. @agente, please remove the Gaming X from your no throttle list as that is a pure lie!
I moved to "Some throttle, some do not". Waiting more reviews..

Updating the thread:
MSI Suprim X: Have 2. One will cause a crash at more than +1000 memory, hashes around 92 only. The other one is perfect at 99-100mhs, 35-40C on 1200 memory -500 clock, 60% PW 60% Fan Palit Gamerock: 6 of them in total, all run 98-101 at 200W, by far the best card for mining. +1200 mem, -500 clock, 60%, 60%

I am mining a rog strix
108 mhs at 307 watts runs at 59-60 degrees, no extra fans is inside of my case is the same card that is connected to my monitor
settings in afterburner
tp 78 cc -502 mc +300
push memory to 700/1000. 115 at 280w (software) is realistic

If you have any old miners laying around, obsolete or not now is the time to consider firing them up, altcoin season is here and no matter how many quantities of those coins you mine it will still be profitable, the season is here again, do not miss out, even Ethereum is over 1000$
Mining season started in jan/feb and now it's just ending phase.. again and again the same story

12 pcs Zotac Twin Edge RTX 300Ti 8GB 730.8 MH/s - 1674W at the wall.
well done.. first of all because you found 12 3060ti!

for this gpu to be worthwhile, it had to be 170 mhs or more, nvidia could have done it, decided not to. The 3090 line are the top hashers but not having the best cost to hash ratio of the 3000rtx series cards. That belongs to the 3060ti hashing at 66mh/s at 125watts which is even better than the 5700xt cards were doing. Those were the king of hashrate for a while until these ti cards came along. Maybe the 3080ti will do 170mh/s mark you are saying to be worth it to mine with. As they were announced to be between the 3090 and the 3080 in performance but not costing as much for the 3090 at a price tag of $1499 MSRP. https://www.techradar.com/reviews/nvidia-geforce-rtx-30903060ti at 66.. how many secs? In the real world 62

it was. Now rtx 3060TI best mining for eth. 63Mhs for 120w
If we apply the rule of 3 simples, I think 90Watts for 54,1MH is better than 120Watts for 63MH. What is that rule ? if you dont know nothing. I doubt that 5700 will stay stable at 90w giving 54mhs ok lets say it is stable at 90w giving you. Todays profit you will be making 1.96-0.2=1.76$ with 5700 And with 63mhs at 120w 2.29-0.27=2.02$. with 3060ti. as soon as prices go down 3060ti will be beast ethereum minng card Instead writing something make little reasearch and calculation mhs watts, 90 in gpuz. still difficult to understand that AMD use a lot of power from pcie after many years.. yes i understand that it doesn matter 3060 still will be beating.if take ratio will be the same like this 5700 126w at the wall will be 1.96-0.3=1.69$ for 5700 and for 3060 TI 168w 2.29-0.37=1.92$. Result is same because 90 vs 120 doesnt make much difference at the wall. beleive me.. it's important! I'm mining since 2013 you don't have to focus on today's earnings. Now even a 390 is profitable

So, any updates on this? From what I gather, it's like this.
Good ones that don't throttle: EVGA FTW3 MSI Gaming X, Suprim X (implied, if Gaming X does not throttle, Suprim X should not; can anyone confirm?) Asus Strix Palit GameRock
I will use your message in the first page. thanks

@Agente
Air Cooled is 230 Watt for 95 MH/s.
Now running with Waterblock....
1300 Mhz / 0.737V (Temp 34 degrees)
RAM MH/s Watt 1MH/s = Watt
+ 0 = 87.3 206 2.36 250 = 90 210 2,33 500 = 92.5 214,5 2,31 750 = 95 217.5 2,28 1000= 97.4 220 2,26
Lowering the core more doesnt bring any benefit. All those shaders need power...
Have you tried lowering mv? 718 -> https://youtu.be/RSyAX_Z4-6o

seems stable. 2080 and 3080 0,725V 1320 Mhz Core to reduce the overall temperatur. Waiting for my waterblock to reduce it further. RAM + 1000 gives >97 MHs ETH, but lowers to 96 by time (and rising temp) 3080 power at wall with 0,725?

Still waiting for the price and ethash hasrate information. There are just rumours. We need the real values.
I have already 108 pcs RX570 4GB, 108 pcs RX470 4GB, 192 pcs P106-100 6GB and 108 pcs RX5700 XT. I'm replacing my old GPU miners with the newest models and 108 pcs RX 5700 XT GPUs was my first move. I'm selling my old stuff and buying new gear. I sold my old NVIDIA GTX1050 GPUs and I bought 108 pcs RX 5700 XT GPUs. These new gear is awesome. I have a plan about buying 108 pcs 6800 XT or 6900 X depends on the details.
108 is the number!

I'm glad i didn't buy a bunch of 3080s, looks very promising, might be more efficient then an Eth ASIC.
Not your choice of course Out of stock everywhere
