1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Rally Starts Today! on: February 01, 2021, 11:44:15 AM
I might have sold too early, but I think we've already seen quite a pump. Not sure, it will ever go past $1 though. The right time to buy was in the 20s, its too high at the moment to risk it.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: February 01, 2021, 11:39:13 AM
Depends on your goals, if you want to learn, or make some quick cash, star trading with a relatively small capital, if you want to have an asset for the future, do some research and pick a coin that will be doing well in a few years and invest.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are the best coin in 2020? on: August 14, 2020, 07:19:42 AM
Although nothing can be concrete and certain when it comes to Altcoin in the long run, but if you want to invest, choose more solid options like XRP or TRX. They can give good ROI in the long run, especially till the end of this year.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too late to invest in bitcoin? Is it a bubble? on: July 25, 2018, 10:13:56 AM
This question has been asked millions of times(even thousands times on this board alone) and the answer was NO and will also be NO in 10 years time.
Because this is gonna keep growing, this is the future people.
6  Economy / Services / Re: Nexybit Signature Campaign (Sr/Hero signature revised 4/13)(4/10 rates revised) on: May 08, 2018, 01:36:27 PM
Due to lack of time at the moment, I would like to withdraw from this campaign.
I'm removing the signature now.
Thank you
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to BUY? 10K $. on: May 06, 2018, 03:21:26 PM
Guys what is your suggestion for investing 10K$ in ALTCOIN?
I already Bought, BTC, ETH, NEBL, (75K$) Now I want to invest 10K $ More, What to BUY?
You already have the big coins, now I'd suggest to go for smaller coins so you can have the potential of higher profit. Maybe Ripple would be a good choice because it is definitely going much higher than its current value.
Another one that I like is SiaCoin, I think it is way undervalued at the moment and will be at least double of its current value in the upcoming months.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: some good info about bitcoin on: May 04, 2018, 06:58:58 PM

"Research produced by the University of Cambridge estimates that in 2017, there were 2.9 to 5.8 million unique users using a cryptocurrency wallet, most of them using bitcoin"

Can you please share the reference of this research? This is really an interesting fact, would definitely like to read more on that research.
Do they have stats of other cryptos too?
I think if we have to take a guess, Eth wallet will be the second most used in the world.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: May 03, 2018, 04:35:45 AM
Both of these offer different advantages:

Bitcoin is the safest cryptocurrency and has reached the widest audience.
Not to mention holding a third of the entire market's value.

Ethereum is right there with it, holding second place on the ranks.
DApps, DAOs, and Smart Contracts changed the game.

So where do you bet your chips?

BTC or ETH?

Definitely with bitcoin, but from an investment point of view, I think both can go hand in hand and may offer equal chances of high profits in a long term investment plan.
I think both of these are here to stay and grow, so none of these is actually a bad bet.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie in Cryptocurrency on: May 02, 2018, 02:10:01 AM
Hi im a newbie in cryptocurrency that why im here i want to learn about it any suggestion or post that i need to read to learn about it?..
Yes, try to read as much as you can. There are some youtube videos too that explains some of the basics, you can go through those too. But most importantly, you'll learn the most with experience. So wherever you are comfortable, start. Be patient, do not panic(ever) and good things will happen to you, that is kind of a mantra in bitcoin and crypto.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: World's first Bitcoin lottery on: May 01, 2018, 08:54:27 AM
Anyone kicking themselves for not buying bitcoin sooner now has a novel way to make amends. One of Ireland’s best known lottery operators is offering a bitcoin bounty worth millions of dollars. In exchange for picking six numbers, entrants – who aren’t limited to the Republic of Ireland – will be entered into a draw whose current jackpot stands at 1,025 BTC. More details on https://news.bitcoin.com/worlds-first-bitcoin-lottery-offering-1000-btc-bounty/
Who's the lucky one?

I'm not much of a gambler and lottery isn't my thing, and from the outside and what normally happens in crypto, this may turn out to be the biggest scam of all... just saying.
But will be interested to see what happens, maybe a member of this forum goes on to win actually.
So lets just, wait and watch.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: April 30, 2018, 01:56:52 PM
Good afternoon. I would like to hear your opinion. I've been reading the forum sufficiently long, but I rarely write. I had one question. Why is the forum divided into 2 teams that angry with one another? The first support bitcoin and hate all altcoins. All of this for them is only garbage. Others like altcoins and do not understand what the problem have first.
I have a question for the first camp. Why?
Take for example Zilliqa, Tomocoin, NEO, DragonChain, etc. People who bought them in large quantities became richer. Why do you think this is garbage?
Bitcoin is a legend, but some altcoins are worth paying attention to, aren't they?
Of course not all altcoins are worthless and many are actually much more usable than bitcoin. But you have to understand the psyche of these people, and no go about what they are saying literally.
Most of them may have sold at the wrong time and incurred a huge loss, so this maybe just their frustration talking.
Another type would be the fudders, which are kinda obvious only if you see their posts for the past couple of days or so.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you involved in Cryptocurrency on: April 29, 2018, 04:34:39 AM
There are different reasons why we do things generally in life, Cryptocurrency too is not an exemption. Different people have their reasons for involving in Cryptocurrency as a whole. To me, I first heard about Cryptocurrency in 2016 after my adventures with ponzi schemes. The impression I first have was impressive because I was in a good hands then, my mentor was a keen and always ready to help person and he achievement was there to show for it. So I was curious to get started and join the big guns in Cryptocurrency world.

Share your views on the reasons that got you involve in Cryptocurrency and let the newbies learn.

Well I heard about bitcoin in 2011-2012, but I didn't pay much heed to it, thought of it as a ponzi or not something big as well because I did not actually understood that it was a whole technology.
But then in 2015 I think, when I saw its value booming, I thought well, it must be something.
Then I joined bitcointalk, started to learn about it. Started to earn some, bought some too, and lost all of it in the hashocean scam.
Lesson learnt, and invested myself in learning more about the technology and stuff and in the meanwhile also earned via signature campaigns and some services here and there.
14  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Criminals and Bitcoin on: April 29, 2018, 03:58:35 AM
I have seen some news regarding hackers, terrorists, and other criminals using bitcoin for illegal trades.
How the police can find about these transactions?
Even if is hard to track illegal transactions, I don't think that Bitcoin can be a danger to society, since the problem is the society and its people.
Since the beginning of the internet this is happening ( the bad people committing crimes)  and no one is willing to shutdown internet because of that, so in that matters Bitcoin should be equivalent. I think those illegal transaction are one of the reasons some governments and the media are trying to depreciate bitcoin, but the problem is not Crypto/blockchain or Bitcoin, is just the society.
Well, criminals have been using money and banks since their invention too, that didn't make people consider stopping their use, so why target bitcoin or crypto only.
And bitcoin is not actually completely anonymous, the big companies(investigative) can actually track transactions back to their sources for sure.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: #stopshere on: April 28, 2018, 03:42:05 AM
It stops here.

Stop supporting obvious ICO scams. Don't add them to your signatures. Speak out against them, and stop defending shit coins. If we want to get more people involved in cryptocurrency, let's stop spreading these absolute shit coins and spend our time on what matters.

If you support this and are ready to stand up against these obvious scams by not selling out your signature to shit coins comment below.

But the question is, how do you define or judge a coin to be an obvious scam? I coin that may look shitcoin to you, may look very promising to its investors or supporters. There is no base criteria where all can agree or evaluate about an ICO.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex is better? on: April 26, 2018, 04:48:01 PM
Been on poloniex for 6mos.. but someone told me that Bittrex is better
I am thinking if I transfer my funds to Bittrex ..
I've been trading on Polo for over a year now and I think its the best among all. The most reliable one at least. Although it may be more time taking than bittrex when it comes to withdrawals and deposits, but still I would go for it because of its reliability. Its better to play safe then to risk too much I guess.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Alts that are going to the moon on: April 26, 2018, 12:52:49 PM
So from the beginning of 2018, till about a couple of weeks ago, all coins suffered huge dump and went quite low from what they were at the end of 2017.
But now, the tides are changing and slowly all are going upwards again as the bitcoin has also started moving upwards.

Now, please share the coins you think are gonna go boom till the end of 2018 from now.
What are your picks?
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on TV - From 2016 to 2018 on: April 26, 2018, 10:42:02 AM
It's interesting to see how the Mass Media is portraying Bitcoin through the recent years...
https://youtu.be/Owm6W1MmQAc

Seems that in 2016 we were all Drug Dealers and Murders for Hire  Grin

That is why I feel more and more people who actually understand the technology should come out in the media and share what it truly is the world. Because people still believe in the myths and most of what they see in the media.
Its important to educate people about crypto and blockchain.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Switzerland and bitcoin, a marriage made in heaven on: April 25, 2018, 07:09:40 PM
Swiss going crypto friendly would definitely impact positively to the whole technology and its value. Imagine swiss banks starting to support a crypto, that would definitely boom.
And I think that may not be too far from happening either.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO VS Established Altcoin on: April 24, 2018, 05:12:20 AM
I am quite hesitant when it comes to investing in ICOs, I usually go for alts that are in the top 100 of market cap at least.

Don't you think its a less risky option?

What is your take on this?
