Totally disagree with you, there are so many good coins after 2012, not weed coins. Ethereum, Monero, Zcash and many others. Why people are not working in McDonalds and starting their own restaurant? Because they don't want to work for McDOnalds corp, because they want to do it different. Same here, there are a plenty of weed coins but still no weed coin with smart contracts and here we go. You may like it or not but it is a competition and real free market capitalism. I can't call it pyramid, everything is pyramid in that view.
Time will tell.
What problems did these other coins solve? As if a "smart" contract solved any problem. Storj - decentralized storage, Ethereum - smart contracts, Zcash, monero and many other - privacy, factom - database registry, synereo - attempts to build decentralized social network and many others Regarding you statement about "only USD payments".  MAR SCAM was a very painful for us all. Thanks Gosh I haven't bought any MAR. MAR scammed the community on much more than 28btc, all weed coins trust is under attack now. I hold a few Marijuana coins and I support the weed cryptocurrency movement. Smart contracts may be not so bad and I don't think MarijuaneumTeam is behind Marijuanacin scam. My IMHO. What I can tell for sure is about dopecoiners, they are attacking other weed coins too and they are running their own weed coin at the same time with very low almost 0$ exchange volume and 67 satoshi price at the moment. I see a conflict of interests here. But whatever. Marijuaneum still can be a scam as 90% of ICOs but if it is not a scam the project can potentially go very high with a few other cannabis coins. It is a pure speculation now, time will tell. I will think about giving a penny to this ICO and may decide to have a few XMJ tokens in my basket. Bonus stage is a good decision. We can't compare it, I know but I remember when there was an Ethereum ICO many people were telling it is scam. Now we see it is not. Time will tell. See this is where the problem lies. It is great that these people "developers" want to promote the buying and selling of marijuana. Why do they need to make a new coin? Why not just add their "talents" to an existing coin with actual community backing. Answer: You cannot be at the top of a pyramid unless you start your own. 99.06% of coins made after 2012 are scams. This is a stupid idea. Marijuana does not need any form of smart contract technology and what kind of DApps would you possibly create for Marijuana specifically?
Don't waste your BTC people.
Vending machines, delivery services, marijuana medical records as an example DApps. QR marked Marijuana boxes as an example of Marijuana IOT. List of smart contract possibilities is truly endless. Don't waste your time on them. Ethereum + Marijuana is right in time. Will take some during the ICO  I get the feeling that this might be Gorilla Pool's coin...... call me cynical..... haha, few of them will be mine after the ICO  I am a PoW miner and pool owner, don't understand smart contracts too much, but I mine ethereum and ollect weed coins;D |

Bots making volumes is actually good for coin. You can put your order at price you think is reasonable, buy or sell, don't look at bots, bots just help coins with liquidity and attention. There can be 2 or 3 bots trading with each other, that is why we see big volumes. Do you really think XMR or DASH volumes are natural? You know why XCI is valuable? Because people spend time and money for bots, mining, nicehash, etc. XCI features are very good. It is PoW, it is private and it is open source, of course it is about weed:) what else do we need.
P.S. GoriillaPool.org had some interruptions due to the server failure. Now everything is ok.

Some XCI updates- After the recent XCI software update all fork issues solved
- After the recent XCI software update all unconfirmed transactions issues solved
- There were few "NiceHash" big miner "attacks". That was unprofitable and caused no harm for the network besides slow confirmations in that period. The network is stable and smooth now, protected by 200khs power.

Network is stable but pools may have issues after flushing and reset. I suggest to lower the min payout and max payout to 1XCI - 10XCI and to lower the payout time to 3-10min.

XCI is anonymous - stands for your Privacy, Pot is not. XCI is miners friendly PoW, decentralized. Pot is PoS, Pot more centralized. XCI is new and uses new CryptoNote tech, Pot is old and Scrypt. Here are the main differences. For me XCI is much better than Pot, it may be very young now but with a great potential to grow! |

Now he is on both http://xci.acidminer.org/ and http://gorillapool.org/ Nicehash is changing IP for every new order. We can ban a range of IPs but we should do it together. That would be a good solution for now. BipCoin dev is saying he can help with XCI forking. |
