Some XCI updates
  • After the recent XCI software update all fork issues solved
  • After the recent XCI software update all unconfirmed transactions issues solved
  • There were few "NiceHash" big miner "attacks". That was unprofitable and caused no harm for the network besides slow confirmations in that period. The network is stable and smooth now, protected by 200khs power.

Good work devs! 1600 blocks on gorillapool.org after the recent XCI update. No issues, just perfect. Thank you again.

We need the XCI Logo!
Starting XCI logo community contest.

Requirements:
Color: green.
No weed leaves (only indirect), be creative.
Looking good at 16x16 size.
Logo contest prize: 2000 XCI

that s a lot of xci for the logo, and still no body show up

Just noticed XCI is listed under Silver sponsors and if you will check Silver sponsorship is 19000$ now https://www.compassionatecertificationcenters.com/exhibitor-registration/.
Devs are shy  Grin
By the way one conference is not a very big milestone. We need more media coverage. Coin is just great after the recent updates. Thank you again devs.

Wow, i didn't noticed that kind of silver sponsorship!?  Huh Really?  Cheesy

I also think if XCI is there to be published it's a huge step, which coin had promo like this?
Merchants and the industry can see this is no fake or something and get in touch live with it.
We'll see... i think we all curious! XCI is doin great so far but still not grown... some patience... Smiley

I know I am going to be flamed and slammed for posting this in this thread.

However, after seeing another scam take place and watching the crypto community get ripped off once again I decided to put this out there and take all the FUD that comes along with it.

So here it is, straight truth from a legit entrepreneur and the creator of DopeCoin.

It's funny.... looks like the new "marijuanacoin" turned out to be a complete scam and the dev ripped everyone off.

It's really a shame to watch the community get taken advantage of over and over again. Let's be honest and lay it all out on the table...

The marijuana alt coin scene is hanging by a thread and based 100% on speculation and false promises.

PotCoin's development team has basically left the project and throws up a vague update from time to time.... Wasn't there supposed to be a new All-Star partner coming from silicon valley that was going to be announced.... or was this bullshit as well.

And the remainder of the weed coins that have popped up are pushing fake volume on exchanges with bots and all kinds of dirty tricks.

DopeCoin is currently undervalued and showing low volume but I will publicly state that we have maintained our integrity over the years and have one of the best development teams within the crypto space.

I mentioned it before and I will say it again.

The business model that involves buying marijuana with DopeCoin's, Potcoin's, Weedcoin's, Douchecoin's, etc. Is a failed model.
We proved this within the first 3 months of launch and watched as all of our competitors failed to have success with this as well.
PotCoin even went to the Cannabis cup, had a Potcoin ATM machine, purchased radio ads, had Joe Rogan mention them and were featured in VICE.
Even with all of this "success", they were unable to gain a foothold in the marketplace.

Einstein's definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.

So how many more people are going to fall for the scam before the community acknowledges the truth of the situation.

Did you know that Apple is having massive issues getting traction with Apple Pay? Only one out of 20 people who have Apple Pay have ever used it and only 4% of those 1 in 20 people ever use it more than once! And this is coming from a company with thousands of retailers, millions of users, and billions in advertising revenue.

Do you honestly think that a marijuana-related altcoin has a chance to get mainstream traction or are we chasing ghosts?

At least over here at DopeCoin we operate in the real-world and you know that we are not full of shit or offering false promises.

We are the only marijuana-based altcoin that has admitted this failure and more importantly we are the only coin that has come up with a new gameplan and business model.

Thanks for believing in the project and congratulations on being able to see through the smoke and mirrors.

Dopey (aka Adam Howell)
http://dopecoin.com/about/

P.S. Does this statement sound familiar?  "Any month now guys we will be listed in dispensaries and be an official payment system for marijuana"

This is complete bullshit and a total lie. Shame on those developers for deceiving the crypto-community over and over.

Dopecoin must be one of the worst names for a marijuanacoin. It´s only slightly better than  junkiecoin or angeldustcoin.
You stepped off right in the beginning... Maybe things were ´dope` in the eighties but it has a negative unsurmountable connotation nowadays..

Why not use reeferinocoin or something else. And thanks for opening my eyes that cryptocoins are mostly speculative by nature (in case you wondered .. yes that´s sarcasm).

Not really. They have a whole  magazine which we'll be working with soon named Dope. It has no connotations. It's "cool" and yes "dope" . What are dumb names are Marijuancoin - it's like ya, no kidding add it to the list of hundreds of weedcoins named that.

It is here folks. DopeCoinGOLD . The #1 Crypto-Weed Coin.

Never said it will be an easy process. Is it hard? Yes. Impossible. No.
To have success you need to have some unique features. Cryptocurrencies as any other type of money are backed by faith and tech. XCI gives a perfect decentralized PoW. XCI gives privacy we need.
When we will build a community of folks around the Cannabis businesses and cryptocurrensies, when XCI will be super stable, when it will have 2-3 exchanges with a solid volumes and liquidity, there is no other way than dispensaries recognition.

Don't worry above the dopecoin fudders making their rounds to all the btctalk boards. With continued improvements in the XCI network and code, we can see large masses of people migrating to what works and what is more secure. XCI has a leg up on the competition with more private transactions for merchants and users alike.

Keep up the great work XCICOIN and we will soon make top 100!

I respect your response but I must once again mention that I am simply stating facts.

Listed on this coins OP are some absolutely outrageous claims in the milestone section. Let's take a look, shall we?

Milestones

1 XCI = 1/8th to 1 oz of weed
25% of US dispenseries to accept XCI in 2019
Expanding NORML
Out of US adoption - Canada, Europe, Australia

To even make these type of statements is simply irresponsible. If, however, you believe that this coin (which does not even have the infrastructure to create it's own logo) is capable of executing this then you deserve to lose your money.

To make ANY statements about dopecoin being legit is irresponsible.

It is no better than any other sub 100 sats coin.

This is dopiecoin volume today:

$4
0.00 BTC

This guy is a paid troll and appears to be trying to scam a lot of btctalk communities, judging by his previous posts

Nothing is more irresponsible than trying to CON people into buying trash

I am one of the original pioneers of the MMJ cryptocurrency scene. Instead of disrespecting me and calling me names like some kind of immature child how about you address some of the valid points that I have made.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cannabis-industry-coin/

XCI is using bots to produce fake volume and has a business model that has been proven unsuccessful by over 10 different MMJ cryptos over the last 3 years. Their community also seems... You be the judge.

Good luck to you man, you're going to need it.

Where is your evidence of fake volume at XCI?

I called you a troll because what you are doing fits the definition of a troll:

"A person who posts remarks or comments onto internet forums or message boards in an attempt to get someone to comment negatively to it and to redirect attention onto himself. Usually, these remarks are controversial, stupid, off-topic, inflaming, illogical, or childish. Sometimes, the comments are enough to enrage the people in the forum to want to respond back with their own negative remarks which starts a flame war and changes the topic and attention of the discussion. Since, internet trolls are attention whores, this is exactly what they want since they probably don't get enough attention in real life and needs someone else to acknowledge their self-worth and existence. "

Is that calling you names, or stating facts?
