Amazing work from the team executing Lightning Swaps over Mainnet. So as I understand correctly, the next step will be a one-click solution built into a new wallet? Will this be as simple as just using the command button to execute the Lightning Swap between XSN and another lightning compatible coin?

It seems that the technology does not match the intentions. Even if lighting is faster, you need to keep open state channels, and many coins are stuck in staking as I understand it.
Stakenet activated segwit (p2sh and bech32) in summer 2018. Right after they enabled the lightning network and finally made their first atomic swap due to the lightning network a few weeks ago. The mainnet guide for the average linux operator was published a few days ago. The decision to use segwit addresses is based on the previous risk of badly formatted transactions by bundling of micropayments in lightning channels which could cause different tx IDs for the same transaction. By avoiding this risk with the use of segwit addresses it is possible to upgrade the current masteenodes in so called watchtowers. These watchtowers are a combination of masternodes and lightning nodes and multi-payment-provider. Stakenet believes, that masternodes can be much more than just coinmixer, instant sender and governance provider. Therefore, we modify our masternoders (which already become watchtowers) again and empower them as lightning-channel manager and liquidity provider by using their colloteral to fund the lightning channel. Each masternodes will be a fullnode and lightning channel for at least stakenet with the possibility to add other fullnodes and lightning nodes on top of it for any other lightning compatible currency of your choice. In the end, every masternodes with the same fullnodes will act as a failover node for any other masternodes with the same specs. The result will be a highly liquid lightning network with no risk of coin hostage or delays of a pending channel opening/closing. Best regards JStarhead | X9 Dev |

What do you think about crypto bank which hold all the reserves and give insurance of your crypto assets?
I dont think that many people will agree to crypto bank, there is a hardware wallet that I prefer to use than putting it on crypto bank. I feel safe with that. A beauty would be trading directly from the hardware wallet due to a dex run entirey on masternodes. Stakenet is developing this. Maybe this is that kind of "bank" we need. I dont like all these erc20 tokens which claim to be a crypto bank... they are just centralized companys abusing a decentralized infrastruktur for their utility/ security token  . |

1) Trustless PoS = cold staking?
2) Trustless PoS is already implemented in the wallet?
1) true. Its cold staking based on the bitcoin.core architecture. It is real minting pos and not forging pos based on nxt.core. 2) true. You need to use a so called merchantnode to make the offline staking for you. This node does not hold any coins. You can set up your own merchant node (guides are already released) or you ask a 3rd partymerchant and pay a little commission therefor. |

all in all xsn is starting to get very activ on community based marketing. in their discord and twitter are many challenges and contests. ! also one teammember was at the consensus in ny ! they smached some dpos and lpos believer with their tpos-tec, based on bitcoin.core ! that is a very important difference to the privious nxt.core based, centralized and exclusive staking solutions. |

I'm sure that safety does not happen a lot, but the same mayetherwallet and ledger show themselves very well, people are already used to them I'm not sure that something can change for no apparent reason

It's an ERC20 token that keeps all the best feature of Bitcoin, but gets the power of the Ethereum. 0xbtc just very young - and growing fast, volume of trading is nice. I m sure CMC and good big exchanges will added in this year. .... this is real scam.... all tokens are already premined on the eth blockchain and are distributed in relation to your mining pools which mine other gpu cpu currencys for you nearly a perfect scam - maybe some newbies will buy your premined shitcoin and mine other currencys for you while you pay them with a one blick generated token amount |

ja du hast schon richtig verstanden, ich bekomme bisher täglich, 20.25 xsn für das staken von 2200 xsn. ich war selber positiv überrascht, den ersten reward hab ich bereits nach 18h erhalten. Ich muss dazu sagen das ich erst seit 4 Tagen dabei bin und ob das so die Regel ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen, aber aktuell läuft es so. Bzgl. fester ip beim masternode steht folgendes in der faq "Can I run more than 1 Masternode on a computer? We are implementing IP security protocol, so each TPoS contract and Masternode needs 1 static IP address each - to prevent centralization. In order to run more than one, you can purchase a VPS through our partner - Evolution-host.com. Evolution host has added POSW (and XSN post swap) to its accepted forms of payment. When paying with POSW/XSN, use promo code 'XSN' for a 15% discount! " ich verstehe das so, dass du eben nur einen masternode je ip betreiben kannst, also auch wenn deine ip täglich oder wie auch immer wechseln sollte, solange jedem masternode nur eine ip zugewiesen ist, müsste es keine Probleme geben, bin mir da aber jetzt auch nicht 100% sicher. Warten wir mal auf Starhead, das ist der XSN-Guru  Das du nach 2 Wochen keinen stake bekommen hast, ist sicher nicht normal, zum staken musst du ja nur deine wallet unlocked und online lassen, mehr ist nicht nötig. auf welcher os läuft deine wallet? Total supply - 15k* masternodes = potenzielle staker supply. Bei normalen pos coins sind davon ca 50-60% online. Dank tpos sind es bei xsn 80%+. Es gibt 1440 blöcke am tag. Also hast du pro 1k coins folgende chance einen stake am tag zu bekommen: 1000/ (63.000.000 - 15.000* 1.380) * 80% * 1440 = 2.7% Ps: die 63mio sind ohne burn der bald kommen wird. Es kann aber damit gerechnet werden dass deutlich über 90% posw zu xsn geswapped wurden. Ein masternode braucht immer!! Eine statische ip. Also eine ip die nicht wechselt. Dein masternode ist ein serviceprovider für das netzwerk. Das netzwerk muss also auch wissen wo dein masternode ist ! |

Jedes Wallet mit aktiver Onlineverbindung  Ich dachte genau das ist der Vorteil von XSN gegenüber normalen POS Coins, dass man eben nicht mehr sein Wallet 24h Online haben muss. Du musst für das offline staking schon ein paar schritte einleiten. Das bequemste ist, dass du dir einen merchant suchst, mit ihm eine fee aushandelnst und über einen von deinem merchant konfigurierten node stakest. Du kannst dir diesen node natürlich auch selber einrichten. Dafür gibt es im discord einen ausführlichen guide. Im gegensatz zu neo (dbft) oder den nxtcore basierren coins wie waves oder lisk (lpos und dpos) - hast du bei xsn kein zentralisiertes staking über poolingähnliche lösungen wo du asymmetrien bzgl einstieg und rewards hast. Bei xsn staked jeder contract über eine einzige ip isoliert und kann binnen einer sekunde gecancelt werden. es wird kein privat key genutzt und folglich können auch kein Missbrauch statfinden. Tpos bei xsn bedarf nichts außer einem vps. Dein local wallet muss für genau eine sekunde online sein. Den rest machst du wie gesagt übern vps oder durch jemanden der sich damit auskennt. Wichtig zu erwähnen ist immer und immer wieder: xsn ist btccore based und bietet echtes minting staking. |

Verstehe es noch nicht ganz. Staked jedes Wallet bzw. Adresse mit einer positiven Billanz? Kann mir jemand sagen, wie es sich mit Coins auf Exchanges verhält. Staken diese XSN auch, oder kassieren die Exchanges hier? Jedes wallet mit aktiver onlineverbindung und jeder merchantnode staken, solang sie eine positive anzahl an coins haben. Es gibt zwei faktoren die deine hitwahrscheinlichkeit erhöhen: 1) anzahl deiner coins/ anzahl aller coins die an der validierung teilnehmen 2) coinage (24h). Ob die exchanges staken kann ich dir nicht sagen. Theoretisch sind sie dazu fähig und ich als exchange würde es auch machen. Aber dieses problem hast du ja bei allen pos coins. Bitte immer bedenken: eine exchange ist kein store of value. Da geht man zum traden hin aber nicht zum halten |

Sehr gut! daraus geht ja auch eindeutig hervor, dass kein privat key jemals geshared wird - sondern das alles über einen shared key broadcast im Netzwerk funktioniert der jederzeit sofortwirksam! beendet werden kann und nicht manipulierbar ist. hierzu auch noch ein paar interessante Gedanken, die ich aus einer anderen Gruppe aufgenommen habe. alle bisherigen pooled Lösungen oder SharingLösungen funktionieren dadurch, dass man jemand anderen vertraut. in letzter Vergangenheit sind hierbei immer wieder kleine abuses durch stakingpools oder masternodepools/Sharings zu verzeichnen. so werden shared Masternodes quittings unnötig in die länge hinaus gezögert - damit der Anbieter noch möglichst einen Hit bekommt, bevor er wieder in die Warteschlange eingereiht wird. Zudem können sich die Auszahlungen ebenfalls verzögern, wenn der Preis eines Coins gerade pumpt und die 3rd Party davon profitieren will. Die genanten Szenarien und all ihre denkbaren Variationen - bis hin zum Coinrip - machen mich jetzt noch zuversichtlicher was TPoS angeht weil das hier einfach nicht möglich ist! Und nochmal zu den Merchantnodes: diese erhalten keinen privat key des auftraggeber. Jeder Merchantnode braucht zudem pro Merchantcontract eine eigene statische IP und die Anzahl an IPs und Coins die ein Merchant-Controll-Wallet verwalten kann sind limitiert. Die Devs haben hier schon mitgedacht. |

Ist PoSW das Vorgängerprojekt oder wie steht XSN mit PoSW in Verbindung? Gibt es überhaupt eine Verbindung oder ist der Name nur Zufall. Danke! Ja es ist der vorgänger. Aber es gab einen kompletten code rewrite. Posw zu xsn ist ein 1:1 swap, seit dem 1.3 und am 1.5 ist schluss. Danach werden alle nicht geswappten xsn geburnt und die posw chain aufgegeben. Zum thwna maxinal supply und co folgendes statement der devs: Freeman: Here’s the longer explanation: The initial market supply of PoSW WAS capped at 250m, it was then REDUCED to 70m and the rest was locked in cold wallets. Then 5m was ADDED to dev funds months ago along with 1.5m EXTRA for xsn hardware development. The number shown on cmc haven’t been updated for almost a year, meaning the previous number was INCORRECT. In early days the monthly dividend was pretty high (since the posw price was like <0.005$), only for Feb 2017 like 3m POSW was sent out as dividends, for instance. Aber da habe ich auch nicht die richtige Ahnung von, wie das dann genau funktioniert (ob als Staking Pool oder sonst wie).. ich lasse derzeit nur das Masternode laufen Im Discord sollte man dir aber besser helfen können, die Community ist da ganz schnell im Fragen beantworten (es sei denn es ist offensichtlich und steht explizit in der FAQ) .. bin mir aber sicher, dass sie gesagt haben, dass der Calculator bald kommt. Hi, kannst du sagen wieviel mit deiner Masternode rumkommt? Eventuell kann man davon ja was ableiten... Danke! Die kalkulation für einen masternode ist recht einfach. Block generation time is 60sec. Also 1440 blocks a day. Im xsn network sind aktuell 1270 mn online. Also bekommt ein masternode im schnitt 1440/1270=1.13 hits am tag. Der reward pro hit ist seit 2 tagen 20.25. Alle 30 tage gibt es einen block reward breakdown. Die verteilung ist dabei wie folgt. 45% mn 45% staker 10% trezor (verwalted durch die masternodes). Der block breakdown ist 50..45..40.. ... 5.. 5.. Also Masternodes sind nach https://xsnexplorer.io/ derzeit 1285 am laufen. Also schon etwas. Da bekommt man derzeit etwa 1.15 Blocks (wir sind jetzt in Phase 2, also nur noch 20.25 XSN pro Block) am Tag. Bezüglich Staking, also in der FAQ steht: 58.) Is there a minimum amount of xsn needed to stake? No, there is no minimum but you will be waiting a long time for rewards because it is based on your weight on the network. In https://stakenet.io/ , we will give stake rewards by weight to all users every few hours Denke also über 2000+ XSN müssten es dann schon sein, damit das Staking sich etwas lohnt. Da müsste allerdings bald auch ein Calculator rauskommen seitens StakeNet. Danke für die Antwort. Zu Punkt 58: Also wird alle paar Stunden an ALLE was ausgeteilt? Ein Calculator wäre nicht schlecht.... Jedes staking wallet und auch jeder tpos staking contract staked für sich isoliert. Somit bekommst aktuell nur du alleine die rewards für jeden hit den dein wallet hat. Auf stakenet.io wird es wieder staking as a service geben mit prozentualen auszahlungen - relativ zu deinem anteil. Dieses ist dann aber auch mit einer fee verbunden.
