I'm noticing a number of projects developing DEX's, with multi-wallets, and some with cold staking.  What makes xsn different from, for example, navcoin that has cold staking?  And they're almost all going to be using the lightening network.

Check this chart located here:

XSN are truly decentralised unlike others that rely on a few specially selected nodes. Plus the DEX is just a side bonus made possible by the tech XSN are building to move forward with their cross chain ambitions. XSN will be the foundation for a multitude of cross chain solutions that will all be built on top of their MN network. The industry is slowly shifting to cross chain support and XSN are looking to be at the forefront of that just like they were with TPoS being the world's first to launch it.

It looks very cool.  I like your new logo and design. The Dashboard UX looks professionally made.
It seems to me that with decentralized bank you have no competitors.

does anybody know which  coins will be listed for staking on the website?

Whitepaper says the major coins. Guess it's still not fully decided, but I expect it first to be the bigger PoS ones  Smiley

Maybe the team can tell you better at the Discord - https://discordapp.com/invite/NvPrQGQ

There are a lots of questions answered every day  Smiley

Another YouTube video was pusblished yesterday -  How to Stake Your Coins with a TPoS Merchant

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGeYAGnVtqg

This is by far the most interesting feature XSN got right now. You can stay completely offline, while a merchant stakes your coins for you. No private keys need to be shared for this trustless option.

Great video.  Thank you.

Questions: True or false:

1) Trustless PoS = cold staking?

2) Trustless PoS is already implemented in the wallet?

yes, through the wallet it is already working. Just not with a ledger yet. You get a merchant and they stake for you. Once stakenet.io goes live it will streamline it even more and give the ability to pool a MN also.

1) true. Its cold staking based on the bitcoin.core architecture. It is real minting pos and not forging pos based on nxt.core.

2) true. You need to use a so called merchantnode to make the offline staking for you. This node does not hold any coins. You can set up your own merchant node (guides are already released) or you ask a 3rd partymerchant and pay a little commission therefor.

any idea on how many coins would you need to expect a weekly stake?
would the time to wait to  hit stakes change if we add a merchant?

any plans on adding XSN to a pool like https://stakeunited.com/main ?

So the PoS Rewards is:
45% Masternode, 45% Staking, 10% Treasury

Why should i invest in a Masternode if i can get the same reward from staking?
Trying to understand, because pure Staking or even coldstaking would be alot easier?

It's about how often reward will come. It depends on how many MN compared to stakers there will be in the network. If there will be less MN than stakers, than rewards will hit MN owners more often than stakers.

Thats a great Dev update, lots of stuff going on in the background and they are hammering out the updates. Announcing a Hardware Division is pretty big news and they are also hinting at new partnerships being formed so hopefully some news on that will be announced soon. More devs joining an already amazing team, XSN just keeps getting better and better
