and the trolls arrive! ready to attempt to ruin another project! get out of here  there's the scam-callers in every thread, my favourite current one is the scam-callers in the Raiblocks thread; Raiblocks is the most unscammiest coin out, yet we still have the trolls. My suggestion: set the trolls to ignore in there profile. |

would anyone like to suggest a fair method of distribution? I'm not interested in large holders gaining most of the supply, i don't approve of these pump schemes. I've been pondering around a multi-method distribution, similar to a bitcoin airdrop, but with using multi currency snapshot 70% to XRB/BTC, and with the remaining 30% to donators. This is just a thought, please don't be afraid to suggest idea's.
Sounds good to me. Ouroboros research shows how crucial an honest staking community is to keeping the system functional. My idea is to piggyback on existing patterns of well-distributed coins. So Stone enjoys as long and fat a tail of initial stake hodlers as reasonably feasible. 20% Donators 20% XRB hodlers 20% BTC hodlers 20% LTC hodlers 20% DCR holders (well-executed airdrop, "8,793 entrants. 3,244 successful participants" https://forum.decred.org/threads/airdrop-rundown.313/ plus years of very cheap coins) Hey i like this idea! hey arent you the Monero developer? |

I think the developers should team up with the Stone dev and combine great idea's, create two of the best DAG, zero fee based coins, Stone can be litecoin to Raiblock's Bitcoin. Its just a troll post, your suspicions based purely on your own thoughts, no actual evidence. Your saying all these people claiming to have donated, dude go to the main post and lookup the TX ID's associated with the donations, they are all valid, all real transactions, are you telling me this user created a large network 100s of fake bitcointalk accounts all created on different dates, then created a large network XRB, BTC & ETH aged accounts and sent a large amount of transactions with varying dates/times then cross referenced the transactions with the bitcointalk users to pretend people were donating? tinfoil hat time. |

Till now the dev hasn't provided any proof of his claims. - no code - no github repository - self moderated topic - asks for donations - no steps towards using an escrow for the money raised - sheer amount of new accounts claiming to have contributed with money To me it resembles to much to the ZETH scam: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1802128.20https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1878038.0Any way I'll keep reading this thread to see where it goes. I feel its going to be fun. Dude... its a PRE-ANN.. he has only just commenced work on the project, he is not pretending to have a fully complete project with thousands of lines of code ready. He has openly said do not donate until first release. As for the new accounts? dude crypto just got a massive boost, every last thread is swarming with new accounts, dev should delete troll posts like yours, have some respect. Felix has not deleted a single post so far, even the troll posts, shows he has nothing to hide. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018 ALL. |

I have a great idea for distribution, leave 30% to donators, then the other 70% do a bitcoin airdrop/merge, the same thing which zclassic is doing right now.
Please get back to me with your thoughts, i'm sure the rest of the community would support this.

ZK-SNARKS are considered expensive in terms of computation. Do you think Stone will hold a high degree of scalability even if you implement ZK-SNARKS?
Dev said it will delay transactions but only slightly, 600ms delay or something similar, worth it in my opinion. What does everyone else think about the bitcoin fork method of distribution? something like Zclassic is doing right now? |

Litecoin is just like a testnet for Bitcoin. I think Stone will not be the like this because Stone have different take on how to implement the DAG technology.
Litecoin has a different hashing algorithm to bitcoin, bitcoin actually has its own testnet! Stone might even overtake RaiBlocks with the right fundamentals applied, RaiBlocks will always be first thought, but i'm just happy i'm on board #2 of the new gen of blockchains (DAG). |

hi i want to donate 200 dollars how is it done in my name
Everyone donating money to the dev at this stage is setting a very dangerous precedent. Why would the dev ask for donations before the code is finished ? Why would he do that ? I am already semi-retired from my early buys in bitcoin, now i focus on building better infrastructure for the future generation using cryptocurrency.
Dev, please explain to us why you are asking for donations before finishing the code. Donations are not mandatory, 99% of projects ask for crowdfund money before completing the project, that's the whole idea, the fund is to complete code, people don't work for free, that's hundreds of hours of work. I'm happy there is a donation option, go look at XEL and see how that worked out, all donators received x1000 returns. it looks only 1 dev?
you know,the project should be manage by a team but not just one guy.
it 's too much work to do,update the code,spread it in the market,make it trade in exchange.
the project would be too late to finished those.
Many projects were completed with just 1 dev, Monero for instance. As far as i can see dev is solid so far, replying to all my PM's in detail, replying to most posts, keen to get my hands on that test wallet though!  fck what the haters have to say, look at RaiBlocks 2billion dollar marketcap, Stone will be the little brother to RaiBlocks, like Litecoin was to Bitcoin. |

My opinion is:
- no ICO
- no airdrops to XRB owners (this would make already rich people more richer, please give us a new opportunity)
- focus on development, bug free products (not like XRB ones) and community
Make this project have a own life (not depending on XRB).
and also no 30% to be distributed to donators. I can see it as an ICO already if that is the plan. Lets try to come up with a new distribution model. Solving Captchas is out of the options Its not an ico, consider it a gift for donating, Elastic XEL did the exact same thing and it was successful, it all went 10,000% in price on release, in my opinion its a smart move, whats a dev without a development fund? he is not asking for 40million, just tips to keep development going. On a side note im really impressed with the feedback and responses by the dev, rather professional and doesent give any time to the FUD. keep it up, the reward will be in the test release. |

Interested in project. Distributing through captcha best solution now that more people are aware.
It will create a strong community.
I dislike the stress this places on the community and exchanges, although im not ruling it out and will have more of a brainstorm about distribution over the next few days. The Raiblocks distribution method was very fair and the community sincerely appreciated this. If you're making the claim that this method was stressful, I'd ask you to show this (budding) community some proof of that beyond comments that wave it aside. I like the stated goals of Stone, but dismissing things in this manner raises my skepticism. Are you kidding? there was like exchange delisting and death threats due to the faucets, there was 9000 indians per day commenting on bitcointalk accusing people of not payout out claims and so much stress involved for holders, the price plummeted, raiblocks only started going up after faucet was removed. I vote no faucet, instead twitter givaways or airdrops, or create a ERC20 token to represent Stone whilst development is ongoing, and distribute it this way, this way we can trade it as futures, and then do a swap right when its time to deliver first release. |

Forked from XRB?
XRB supply has ended, no new coin. and how this fork works? start from 0? how to mining? PoW?
Its like a clone of XRB, same codebase with modifications, not like a bitcoincash fork. I actually created an account to respond to this thread - couldn't find my old login details from ages ago..
For me, most of the stuff I see on here is just not worth responding to or following. I don't see any problem with the OP asking for donations as it is exactly that, a donation.. If people don't want to donate now for obvious reasons, then don't, its as simple as that.
If OP is as nerdy as I hope he is then communication might not be his strong suite and not realize that some of this comes off a bit shady.
+1 no one is forcing anyone to donate, OP says donate if you wish to help, it should be treated as a donation. I donated because i respect the DAG tech and i like the feeling of lending a helping hand. Some of you guys are acting like a robber just walked in and forced your bitcoin wallets open! if you like the project, follow the thread and get involved, like the dev has said, don't donate until first release if you feel uncertain. I don't think he is out to impress, just to code. |

RaiBlocks can only avoid the Sybil attack by balance-weighting the POS mechanism. This cannot be done if the balances are hidden using ZKsnarks. How do you propose to solve this?
One possible solution is having to reveal balance to participate in PoS yourself, or to use snarks to delegate to a chosen voter (which can reveal the sum he'd been delegated but not from which account it came). Ah now someone is thinking  I'm in on this project, reminds me of Elastic, developer raised donations and it turned out to do a x500. High risk high reward. |

So I'm going for the long on this project. It has taken me many man hours and research to get things in a working condition and even then it's not the way i'd like it. 1) Working block explorer - http://explorer.zclmine.pro/2) Eleos for Windows fails once it get's to around 80% block sync. The only thing I can think of the reasoning being is some kind of fork that happened to ZEN...? -I was able to compile a wallet using VirtualBox and Ubuntu 16.04.3 (17.10 WILL NOT WORK) something with "libboost-system seems to be installed by default" and receive errors "configure:22357: result: no configure:22469: error: Could not link against boost_system-mt !". -With all that being said, I rented a VPS from OVH and have a full node running now to support the network. **Multiple attempts to compile Windows wallet have failed. Maybe someone who is a Linux guru can figure this out which would make life better for all of us  3) I wouldn't jump on the bandwagon of going the Bitcoin "insert shitcoin" name here. I would however consider a re-brand to: LiteZ. -If the dev is looking, I do believe that your replay protection idea is needed and should be implemented. The LiteZ name comes from my belief that Litecoin is going to be the next gen coin for fast payment transfer. It sounds like they will be the first to implement the Lightning Network technology and if Zclassic were going to implement a change, Lightning Network technology would put this coin where it needs to be. fck yes! lets do this, im buying up hard, why you ask? fork, already on bittrex, think..bitcoin gold, take a glance @ that market cap. high risk, fucking high reward. i like the approach, and like the project name, i can see thought has gone unto this (rai stone) Looking foward to seeing how the rest of distribution will be panned out! hopefully something free  glad you did not go down the “raise a million bucks” crowdsale type thing everyone is doing right now. I beleive this project will go far, just take your time and do it right the first time, dont be influenced by people rushing you or telling you what you can, and what you cannot do. will donate a little XRB tonight, dont want anything in return, just donating to keep those coffee”s going |
