1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise up or fall down? on: September 13, 2017, 04:39:52 PM
What do you think? China banned BTC? And btc price goes to 4,069$ today Smiley
You think to sell or it can rise up again, some rumors said that btc will fall down to 2000$
I think it will continue to increase. So wait until the appropriate time of sale is not late.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 08, 2017, 03:07:09 PM
What If Bitcoin is banned in your country will you still use it?

If you use it how will you? How will you exchange it and how will you completely use it as you do before.
In my country not banned the use of bitcoin. But if that's the case ,then I will still trading normally. I don't think they can manage to be all
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: September 05, 2017, 01:47:43 PM
Bitcoin’s very volatile prices have reignited the debate about its usefulness as a currency or as an asset. In some ways, Bitcoin suits the definition of currency quite adequately but if the volatility is less. It allows for the creation of secure and transparent transactions. Thus, can be used as a secondary currency in future. Some of the experts have huge concerns over its volatility. But, sooner or later the prices may remain less volatile as of today.

I have mentioned few points about Bitcoin as a currency or as an asset in my article here: https://atozforex.com/news/is-bitcoin-a-currency-or-asset/

What's your opinion about BTC as a currency or an asset?

Suggestions and comments appreciated  Smiley Wink
Both. Bitcoin is both a currency and I can also hold them as my own.Keep us capable of becoming a millionaire in the future.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: September 03, 2017, 12:23:50 PM
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/b/4a0b16dd-6783-4dac-9fa0-76e923c9a774

According to this link, a bloomberg news site, it was mentioned that there are two hotels in LAS Vegas that accepts bitcoin as payment for hotels, food and drinks. If you want to visit this place as a tourist or to gamble and you happened to lost your money to gambling you can always use you stored bitcoins to get a room to sleep and relax and enjoy the food and booze.
This is good news, so convenient for us. We can pay for the hotel by bitcoin. But in my country, this has not happened yet.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get bitcoin every days? on: September 02, 2017, 03:27:42 PM

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Discourage by our country. on: August 28, 2017, 03:02:13 PM
Why it is that Bitcoin is not accepted in our country (Nigeria)?
They have some own views and laws.. They may think that bitcoin will adversely affect their economies. Or cause other bad things.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you give bitcoin as a wedding gift? on: August 17, 2017, 04:40:18 PM
Quote
Some tech-savvy wedding-goers are gifting the digital currency to new couples. Honeyfund, a honeymoon registry that allows guests to give cash rather than gifts, has seen more than a dozen customers donate in bitcoin, said chief executive officer and co-founder Sara Margulis. In recent years, more than a dozen customers have chosen to route donations to the site from bitcoin wallets. Zola, a wedding registry website, has had just two cash funds created for bitcoins since 2013, a spokeswoman said. "I would expect it to pop more as millennials come into the wedding age,” Honeyfund’s Margulis said. “It’s something you will do if your friends and family are already into bitcoin.

Bitcoin as an retirement plan, bitcoin to secure the future of your kids, and now bitcoin as a wedding gift. Whether or not bitcoin replaces cash in future, it looks like the trend of gifting bitcoin instead of cash at weddings is definitely going to catch up and more wedding registeries would be adding bitcoin as a gifting option.

Avoid using a wedding gift "as an opportunity to proselytize a technology you personally believe in, but the recipient could not care less about."

People who are not into bitcoin might not appreciate getting a volatile currency as a gift, and might never use it, thus adding it to the list of lost coins, but I think people who are already using bitcoin or would most probably use it in future then bitcoin instead of cash is the apt wedding gift for them.

This idea is very interesting, but I do not think anyone would choose bitcoin as a wedding gift. If necessary they will give a more practical gift!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Everyone already knows about bitcoin" no.. no they do not.. on: August 13, 2017, 03:49:13 AM
Every time I go to the bank I like to ask them if they have heard of BTC, most of the time the answer is no.
I do ask a lot of people about BTC.. a restaurant near me.. near ish use to accept it as well, I asked to pay with it, they said it no longer exists.. .... ...

Most people I find still have zero idea what BTC is unless they are friends with the likes of us.. I don't think we are even in early adoption stage.. we are in "the chasm" .. it would appear we are going to survive though... appear anyways..

I dunno just something I have taken note of.

Pretty much everyone that has heard of it assumes it's worth like 5 cents and shits themselves when I say it's $1k (Cad) .. we are in very interesting times with BTC.

Yes it may be coincidence. Many people still do not know bitcoin and you ask them right away. They are not interested in the market.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: August 11, 2017, 04:06:05 PM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
I think it will still exist. Bitcoin is very developed, and nothing prevents it. Unless there is a better alternative location of bitcoin.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The current increase in price of bitcoin and it advantage on: August 09, 2017, 04:06:46 PM
With the recent rise in the price of bitcoin to us dollars to as high as $3305 as at yesterday, the best period to trade your bitcoin is now.
I am also very surprised by the rapid increase of bitcoin. But will it continue to increase later? Should I sell bitcoin or keep it?
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you explain Bitcoin or crypto to complete newcomer on: August 09, 2017, 02:57:18 PM
So I've been involved in Bitcoin and crypto for about 5 months now and just about everyone I tell about it being friends and family most have never heard of it or the few that have they have no understanding of it so I was just curious into how others explain it all to total newcomers is their a webpage or video you may show for an easy understanding to explain it all ? Whenever I give my explanation it seems to go way over their head  Roll Eyes Cheers
When I showed my friends about bitcoin, it was like teaching them to start learning words again. They are a little bit difficult to get started because the bitcoin concept is not easy to understand for those with inexperienced backgrounds.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: August 09, 2017, 02:13:45 PM
Until my rigs have broken even I convert 75% to fiat and hold the other 25% then once they are in profit I'll probably hold more like 75 and convert out 25 I think
I do not think keeping bitcoin is easy. It can take anytime and be sure to invest in time to make a profit.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is unstoppable on: August 08, 2017, 05:01:19 PM
We have entered a brand new era for Bitcoin as we know it. Brace yourselves.
A new era for the advancement of science and technology. There is nothing that can stop the development of bitcoin. Do you believe so?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the other crypto currencies that exist? on: August 08, 2017, 04:24:33 PM
Next to Bitcoins there are several different other crypto currencies like DASH, ETC, ETHEREUM, LTC, XRP. Do you believe in them? Are there any Advantages and/or disadvantages?  Huh
I've heard these types of money on the market. But I have not used them, so I do not know about them. Those currencies are not as popular as bitcoin.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is amazing on: August 08, 2017, 01:38:56 PM
Hi guys,
I been sort of a enthusiast and involved in crypto since 2013 I think. I haven't been that active until last month when I really put tons of hours reading and catching up.
I have talked so much about crypto with family members that they ask me to save some funds for them in crypto and I believe BTC is the safest bet. I got some at 2700 but the price is going up like crazy, usually there is a correction but it seems BTC has a rocket in its behind Smiley
My question is for long term is it better to wait or is the price going to keep rising. Maybe we have a new bottom?
I know it's speculation but curious what people are thinking.

Other than that I'm glad to be a part of this great technology and promoting it.
Yes. Bitcoin like having a rocket in the back push it up. And I believe that in the next few years, it will be worth more than anyone expected. Take advantage of the opportunity to get rich!
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: August 07, 2017, 01:55:03 PM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
That can totally happen. Nothing is last forever. But I don't think that's an end too soon for bitcoin.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: August 06, 2017, 05:29:38 PM
Bitcoin is a long way from becoming a currency you can live your life in. You also only have 7 transactions a second. But that doesn't mean Bitcoin isn't immensely valuable as a medium-term and long-term store of value
Yes we do not deny the value of bitcoin. The replacement of conventional money for bitcoin is a pretty difficult. You have thought so, no?
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: August 06, 2017, 04:22:26 PM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
Will not be a high rate. It is still very difficult for us to switch to paying all by online trading. Because the payment of money will usually be much more convenient. For example housewives! Smiley

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: August 06, 2017, 02:24:51 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.
I think now is not the time for us to regret the past. There are still many opportunities for us to grasp in the future. Now is not too late!
