Its more than discouraging when you have other market caps showing coins available of which the purchaser will never get them in his/hers gigawatt account, in fact it looks scammy as fuck, personally i buy to use but with no guide telling me where to purchase i can see a lot of dissapointed buyers. This needs dealing with, I suggest we have in house trading within our gigawatt wallets. Wouldnt take much to alter the code. As long as we keep usd trades out, we are good to go.
As WTT is an ERC20 token, there should be plenty of new decentralized exchanges opening up in the next few months that support wallet-to-wallet trading of tokens like WTT. For example, https://simpledex.io looks like a pretty easy to use one that is still in the beta phase. Other options include IDEX or RadarRelay. 2018 is the year of the DEX. Won't be long until we don't even need major centralized money-grubbing exchanges that control the flow of all tokens with an iron grip. |

Update for everyone still frustrated and waiting like myself: My batch 4 WTT tokens were finally released and my July-ordered PandaMiners are now up and running in my dashboard. Hang in there, deployments will happen eventually.

3 New pods worth of miners ready for installing? That's decent news. I wonder if my September-promised miners will finally be up and running soon? Or perhaps it's already up and running and they are just mining with it for themselves first and telling me its not ready. ... I wish there was a way to verify the status and location of my hardware.

When next batch of tokens will be issued? I invested in June 2017, still no tokens!
All tokens have been already issued end of February! Go to cryptonomos site and you should see them, and you can transfer the tokens from there to GW account if you wish. Thanks for the tip. I just checked and I can confirm that my batch 4 tokens from last July are now unlocked on Cryptonomos, and I can send them to my gigawatt hosting account. I wasn't expecting that until April! It even included the additional 10% tokens they promised us for the delay. Still waiting on my miners to be deployed though. Every month I send them an email and every month They say it will just be a few more weeks. |

That Gnation video didnt mention MGO even once. It was all about GameCredits. I'm beginning to think MGO was just a giant money grab to fund GAME. Someone shill me again on how and when MGO will actually start becoming relevant and be worth the $50m they raised selling it? |

I did some calculations back in November for purchasing miners with and without WTT to find the break even points where i had earned back the money spent for the miner + WTT. This assumes WTT was at 1.70, and all crypto prices were calculated on 11-24-2017. But the math is still valid to show you a general idea of the benefits of buying WTT. Also, you are still being charged the discounted rate of $0.033 per kw/h while using WTT (instead of the standard ~$0.09 per kw/h) and this is factored into the monthly profit.

It looks like you have all the answers cuteman, maybe you can explain why Giga-watt refuses to deploy our hardware for almost 6 months ?
WTT tokens bought in June 2017. Will they wait until June 2018 and destroy roi completely ?
I'd be curious as to that too. I keep seeing all these pictures with rack upon rack of miners deployed, but my rigs from July still aren't deployed yet either. So frustrating. |

Got an email update today from them on my BATCH 2 hardware....
"Your batch 2 Pandas have not yet been deployed as you may know. You are looking at possible late February/March for deployment."
Ugh....
Were your batch 2 Pandas scheduled for September deployment? I also have one outstanding, but did not receive a mail. Ya, they were. I had to email their support a bunch of times before they responded. And they didnt even mention the L3s I ordered for the December deployment. Nothing to do now but wait patiently for another month I suppose. |

It's NOT a pity. You are MUCH better off staying in ETH or BTC rather than buying in last July. WTT tokens are fairly stable in value, and the majority of miners are still not installed even though we were promised installation in September (and then Oct, then Nov, then Dec, then Jan, and now May). Picking some WTT up now and buying a rig for is much 'cheaper' now than doing so in July. Eth was at about $200 when a lot of us bought in. That means we paid about $5.50 per WTT and about $16,000 per rig compared to today's value of ETH. |

Also, I just noticed that GigaWatt.sg is still selling miners today, in January, promising deployment in the December batch... wow that's both incredibly deceitful because those miners never did get deployed in December, even when bought in Oct/Nov and incredibly lazy that they haven't even taken 10 minutes to update their web page.
So many talking trash in this thread. They are not selling anything bevor February, checkout the Telegram channel. In my opinion, most of the bad reviews are written to get a lower price of the token. My comment was neither a review nor trash talking. I was stating what is literally on their public website. Visit their store page for yourself and see. That's unfortunatly the way I'm starting to feel. I know this isn't paycoin or any scam near that level but I've seen enough to know that when something doens't look right it usually turns out to be a scam. They are selling miners for Jan and Feb Deployment but they haven't deployed older orders and won't be able to deploy those. Taking money from people and not being straight with them on the timeline for deployment is shady.
On the other hand a scam wouldn't have delays, because it's a scam they would just pump and dump. So it's really not fair to call them a scam, however they aren't being upfront with customers so I do worry about financial problems. For now I'm taking their word for it, having dealt with UL in the past it's not a fast process to put it nicely, and I don't know Washington State but it took me 5 months to get a permit to build a deck on my house in PA lol. So it's not time to call it a scam but it is time for more transparency from Giga Watt.
And people speculating on prices going to $100 are crazy, this isn't a pump and dump. It's the only utility token with an actual purpose and value but that value is capped. It's also real so even during selloffs WTT has real value behind it and it won't go down nearly as much and will payout more coins if renting and chase out miners with higher electricity costs lowering difficulty for those mining. So there's a limit to the upside but also to the downside of the price of WTT which makes it the only stable investment in cryptoland I know of, as long as they aren't having financial problems and blaming Underwriter Labs and local permits.
Has anyone that ordered a miner last year, say September to December, had it deployed?
I've bought batch 4 WTT and a PandaMiner in early July, a few days after their recent cutoff date for WTT release. My miner was supposed to be deployed in September. It is not yet deployed. More recently I bought WTT off EtherDelta and trnasfered it to my GigaWatt account, where at the lowest rate it is about 58-66% rented on average. I also bought two more miners in November that said December deployment. These are also still not deployed. I even emailed them mentioning that I have the WTT to back all of my miners and do not need to await the batch 4 token release. Support responded and said my two newest ones are delayed until late Jan/Feb but my Panda miner should be operational and they will check in to it. Haven't heard back from them in almost two weeks. Dashboard still says zero miners. I'm actually starting to worry.... |

GigaWatt tokens are the DEFINITION of a utility token. I'm 100% sure this lawsuit will go nowhere. WTT tokens are tied DIRECTLY to power provided for mining rigs, and is currently up and running as a utility token for those of you lucky enough to have rigs deployed already. On top of that, they are required to hold excess WTT in escrow until they have the matching power up and running to support it, which is why the latest batches are taking so long.
FUD all you want, I'm confidant GigaWatt will be a premier mining provider going forward.
