1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who profits from the N Korea fiction? on: June 01, 2017, 05:48:12 AM
Scapegoating North Korea obviously benefits plenty of sides, mostly the US government which can turn the attention of some easily fooled citizens away from the internal problems of the country and justify spending on defense contracts. South Korea and Japan are the only countries that really have reasons to be scared of the North since their missiles(and maybe nukes) can potentially get to all their major cities. The overreacting by the US to all things the North does plays to South Koreas and Japans interests, it's understandable.

Does big money make a man go nuts? I mean sure there's an enormously high chance that extraterrestrials do exist and also that there are developed civilizations in space besides ours. But to say something like this with such certainty he must have either seen them firsthand or be crazy. I crosschecked the article too it really does come from dailymail, so most likely it's not fake.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If you kill cow, then you will be killed. on: May 31, 2017, 05:46:34 PM
Hah! Weird that Hinduism shares a common trait with Islam on this. The difference being that Islam forbids people from eating pork, because pigs are unclean or something. Would be funny if in the end it turns out that this was a clever ploy for protecting the secret holy animal of Islam - the pig.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The next step to impeach Trump. on: May 30, 2017, 11:41:55 PM
10 US cities have signed a petition to the Senate with the requirement to begin procedure of impeachment Trump. Of course the municipal authority has no authority for such a solution, but it may force legislators to consider it. Do you think the deck of cards Trump still trump?

Oh come on, what's the base for that requirement anyway? That he once said something about women? Bill Clinton got exposed for cheating on his wife on his workplace and didn't get impeached. What's the chance of Trump getting impeached over basically nothing at this point? Give it a few more months, he may screw up for real.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hackers threaten to release stolen 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' on: May 27, 2017, 03:20:06 PM
I could use a good movie to watch let them release it  Cheesy

If it's a good movie you're hoping to see, look somewhere else Cheesy I got convinced to go to the theater to watch this and now I have that feeling of getting scammed. In fact I'd much rather if someone just stole 12 bucks from my pocket than having to suffer through this two hour nightmare. Javier Bardem's CGI face gave me all sorts of terminal diseases.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Как вы думаете Trump адекватный человек? on: May 26, 2017, 10:25:44 AM
You shouldn't put so much blame on Trump himself. What the USA does on the international stage is mostly decided by other people. The president is just the face of it all and always gets to have like one big campaign to show for himself. Bush had his War on Terror, Obama had Obamacare and Trump has his MAGA slogan which will transcribe into something eventually but we haven't yet seen what maybe a wall on the Mexican border, maybe something else.

TLDR: It would probably have been the same with any other of the candidates becoming president.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you physically fit? If so what sports/activities do you do? If not, why? on: May 25, 2017, 09:09:29 PM
I used to train wrestling for a while, however I hurt my back there trying to lift a guy from the ground. Rookie mistake that I regret to this day. This interferes with my other sporting activities as I used to be a regular visitor at the gym. Now I have to make do mostly with body weight exercises. I do go out and play some basketball with friends from time to time however.

What got me into sport? Can't say exactly, it was so long ago. I just got into it and after a few months it I couldn't afford to quit, since all my work so far was going to go to waste. Sport gave me discipline and no physical trauma can take that away from me.
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoin on eBay? on: May 24, 2017, 08:39:09 PM
Not now but it is a matter of time when bitcoin will be accepted almost everywhere.

Doubt this goes for ebay. These guys are nuts crazy in their hate for BTC. They are control freaks and everything happening between your ebay account and your paypal is closely monitored and they have constant communication. Accepting BTC would mean it will be harder for ebay to control vendors and according to them probably more scam attempts will emerge. Nowadays they can close down your vendor account for even having the word BTC in some of your listings. You have to be extra stealthy about it if you want to conduct BTC related business there.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is best android phone , none the price but the spec and low budget on: May 24, 2017, 06:30:59 PM
The K6 of Lenovo is great and not too expensive. Got one when I continued my contract with my mobile service provider, but I sold it almost immediately on ebay as I'm more of an iphone guy.

If you want a great phone for a low price however you should go to some pawnshop. Almost fresh out of the box flagship phones for ridiculously low prices are a common thing there. Of course I'd flash a new OS on such a phone, just in case it's stolen. Also you don't usually get a warranty.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Whats your Story? on: May 21, 2017, 01:17:13 PM
Bitcoin is still too young to have him and we had a history. I think that right now we all write his story. From our actions depends on what the story will be bitcoin. So I think.

Amen to that. This is just the beginning of what will be mainstream economy in the future. As in every beginning the waters are muddy and fish is caught easiest in muddy waters. These are the wild west years of the crypto economy, where nothing is yet regulated and everyone can do whatever they want and get as rich as they want. I came here to be a part of that - to be a pioneer of some sort.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: How gullible are you? on: May 20, 2017, 09:09:48 PM
I do enjoy immersing myself in a good fantasy/sci-fi story and when I finish it the "back to reality" moment is usually quite a crash landing. However I wouldn't call myself gullible until last week when somebody broke into my email and stole all I had on polo and bittrex thus costing me about 20% of all I had made in crypto so far. I still wouldn't say I'm gullible in the sense OP speaks of - to trust other people, but more like in the sense I trusted my shitty password was enough to protect my money.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Trading as a job on: May 20, 2017, 09:02:10 PM
Simple idea, plenty of people doing it. You see some stagnant coin's price fluctuate a bit every day, it's all due to daytraders. Takes nerves of steel and standing in front of the PC screen all day IMO and I don't think it's worth it for most people.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: How To Get From Woman Switching TV Channel - Share Your Way To Success on: May 18, 2017, 04:13:11 PM
If you want the house cleaned ask her to do it. If she refuses well you clean it for yourself. Next time she asks you for something tell her it's not your business or that you're too busy cleaning the house. She'll get the message, problem is she might get triggered and escalate the situation. If she does that, well I'm sorry, but you may have got together with the wrong girl.

About the TV, I'm pretty sure you(and most bitcointalk users) can afford a second TV.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best VPN service? on: May 17, 2017, 08:13:49 PM
I like VIP72, but they are very expensive. It all depends on what goals you are pursuing. There are many resources with a free VPN, but worst in quality. For many purposes it is quite suitable server from the blacklist.

me too bro

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't VIP72 a SOCKS5 provider and not a VPN? Not that you couldn't use that to hide your IP. Anyway I have had good experience with NORD, though it is kinda on the expensive side for such a service.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: New pirates of the carribean hackers asking for BTC on: May 16, 2017, 07:04:22 PM
BITCOIN IN PERIL ONCE MORE!

I can't agree that BTC is in peril. Sure some people might say "Oh that's criminal money", but others who haven't heard before might be interested and join the crypto world.

Also even if it gets leaked the film will still probably make a good profit. If Expendables 3 could do it, Pirates of the Caribbean can do it easily. People just like going to the cinemas with friends.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever thought to yourself you need to know EVERYTHING on: May 15, 2017, 07:40:53 PM
Yes I have, it's kinda depressing when you think of all the knowledge in the universe that we'll never ever come close to learning.

However then every time I think of the legend of Icarus or that woman from the last Indiana Jones movie who wanted to know everything and got her brain overloaded and fried by information or sth. Maybe ultimate knowledge just isn't meant for us mortal humans.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would YOU choose to live forever? on: May 14, 2017, 09:42:06 PM

Can I chose to die forever instead?
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you become a good entrepreneur? on: May 14, 2017, 12:32:21 AM
Step 1: You find yourself some good connections to the authorities, you pay who you have to as much as he wants, they let you win some government order or euro fund(provided you're in the EU) or like people said inherit/borrow some money from your parents.

Step 2: You post pics with your leased Porsche and rented house on the social medias daily. This way you build up your image of a successful businessman in the eyes of the general public.

Step 3: Start hosting pointless(paid) seminars where you give the sheep audience the "key secrets" to success, you've actually took from some of the millions "How to succeed in life" pages on the net. Nobody will ever doubt you. After all you're the one driving the Porsche, not them.

Step 4: Profit!
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Thoughts about one big collective lending service :) on: May 11, 2017, 09:34:24 AM
And what do you suggest we do when somebody takes a loan and doesn't pay back? Ban them from the forum?
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: South Korea election: Moon Jae-in claims victory on: May 10, 2017, 09:16:53 AM
It will be interesting whether he will move to reopen the Kaesong industrial complex and if the north will see this as a provocation.
