There are some campaign managers (and would-be campaign managers) that have dubious history. I cannot fathom the reason why any serious business would bother to consider hiring them (let alone really give them a job). Keeping that aside, considering the fact enrolling accounts in campaigns is lucrative and basically the only reason why over 99% of the members visit this forum, I would not be surprised if some campaign managers have enrolled (with ease) their own purchased accounts, farmed accounts or alt-accounts in order to maximise their income (effectively cheating their employers). If you were to take a guess, which percentage of accounts enrolled in a campaign are actually owned by the campaign manager? I will not mention names of the highly respected campaign managers that I am certain do not cheat via this nefarious activity because the attention would fall on the managers I did not name (when attention should fall on them without me mentioning names anyway). Nevertheless, participate in the poll

self-moderated to keep this thread clean from trolls, attention-seekers and signature spammers USYK vs DUBOIS 19th JULY 2025 I think the Usyk era is over. Dubois lost the first fight against Usyk in 2023 in round 9 after he connected with what was deemed to be a low punch by the referee but many spectators disagree. Many thought Usyk won that fight before Usyk was given a chance to recover by the referee. If Usyk wins he will be a third time unified champion (twice at heavyweight once at cruiser weight). If Dubois wins he will become the first British unified heavyweight champions since Lennox Lewis beat Evander Holyfield in 1999. ====================== LOCAL RULE ALL MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE:I want to try to keep this thread clean and legible.

self-moderated to keep this thread clean from trolls, attention-seekers and signature spammersChris Eubank Jr vs Conner Benn 26th April 2025 Tottenham Hotspur Stadium I have created an almost identical thread in a different forum. What makes this a fascinating bout is their fathers were professional boxers that had fights for the middleweight and super middleweight titles in 1990 and 1993. The same way their fathers had a dislike of each other, these two also dislike each other. They were supposed to fight two years ago but Benn failed a drugs test and banned. Subsequently he was cleared by the authorities stating they were not satisfied he did anything wrong (effectively stating he was innocent). They will contest the fight at middleweight with Benn having to move up two weight divisions therefore Eubank Jr should be favourite to win because of his size and reach but Benn has had 23 fights and won all of them whereas Eubank Jr has had 37 fights and lost 3. ====================== LOCAL RULE ALL MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE:I want to try to keep this thread clean and legible.

Participate In The Word Game & Earn Merit By Answering Correctly.Creating threads such as these giveaway merits and open it up to abuse for alt-accounts and farmed accounts as has happened in the past. It is a completely incorrect way to distribute merits. It is however one way to attract attention for those seeking attention: Wonder WorkHow many newbies register in the forum one day and on the following day enter the Pizza Contest just before entries close? The Wonder Work pizza-maker that claims he has no other accounts and somehow fortuitously registered the Wonder Work account just in time for the Pizza Contest has now gone a step further with his merit giveaway thread: Which accounts seemed to register in time for competitions including Pizza Day?There have been numerous attempts by numerous members, here is one as an example that was caught involved with merit abuse to his associated accounts: Questionable Merit History From: deadsea33 Can we have some consensus on the matter? If enough members agree that this sort of nonsense has to stop, maybe we can get theymos to make a statement on it too.

From time to time when I find myself looking at a couple of threads in particular threads, amongst other things I find myself noting two points. The first is how desperate some of these accounts are in their desire for merits that they would actually make such ridiculous posts seeking them. The second being why would some accounts even bother to merit those posts when in the long run it encourages them keep flooding those threads to keep the cycle going. I have often wondered how many of the heavily farmed accounts that have infested the forum over the past few years (thanks to just a small number of certain members) would ever have been created by puppeteers had they not been encouraged by the possibility of a shortcut to ranking up. What on earth would encourage the "DYING_S0UL" account to make post regarding a "4646" merit accumulation in a " Save your nice merit records here" thread? What was the significance of that post? What was the urge on his part to make it for the sake of saving a 4646 merit (although for some members it would help sucking up to campaign managers as it might sway opinion when applying for their campaigns). I will not mention any names or naims (not even naim027) but scraping the barrel does bring unwanted attention. @yahoo62278 Congratulations man! 4646 seems like a good record! That particular thread has been inundated with several accounts that have a Bangladesh local board connection, many clutching at not-so memorable numbers including of course the utterly pointless "4646". Talk about scraping the barrel with the " 4646 seems like a good record!" comment. Another account that was mentioned as being a farmed account "Bd officer" is also not far behind in that thread, albeit using a more digestible number output. The other threads are where members are encouraged to report their own threads (usually unmerited) and those too are a magnet for account farmers to push for their farmed accounts to rank up as fast as possible. I completely understand the mindset of the OPs behind the threads that I have mentioned and alluded to because they could be used as genuine tools to help contribute to the forum by helping members that are not operating industrial scale farming accounts but at the moment they are also being abused alongside the good work they aim to provide. What do you suggest would be a good way to handle this matter and obstruct the work of account farmers whilst allowing genuine account operators to benefit from any generosity of merits being distributed? Maybe some possible outcomes: - making those threads self-moderated - making a list of names that breached the rules therefore cannot post and list the names - limiting the number of posts a member can make in those threads in a set period Is there anything else that you think could/should be considered being added to those sorts of threads to restrict the growth of farmed account operators whilst still facilitating the process that the OPs of those threads intended for genuine accounts?

The lure of merits and also a possible winning prize is just a little too much for some to say no to. I am just asking for others to post about any account they suspect is not exactly as it portrays itself or has entered the Pizza Day contest or any other competition within a short space of time of creating the account. As with some dubious accounts, sometimes having a strong link to prove something is not required to hold a personal opinion but is needed to persuade others. For that reason I am not going in to specific detail about the two accounts I mentioned other than mention the timing of their account being created and then entering the Pizza Day contest. Here are two that I found. Look at their first posts and ask if they are real newbies. Between them, there is of course the customary connection to the Bangladesh local board too (therefore no need to mention naim027) Wonder Work creates his account on 20th May 2024 and enters the Pizza Day contest on 21st May 2024. Not exactly the behaviour of a newbie to the forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3632550;sa=showPosts;start=5602Pizza410000BTC creates his account on 30th May 2023 and enters the Pizza Day contest on 31st May 2023. Not exactly the behaviour of a newbie to the forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3558224;sa=showPosts;start=2240Can you spot any other accounts that seem to have been created to enter competitions and by default are farmed accounts? Share any names here in order to discuss if there is a problem on this issue within the forum or not.

A while back a post was made by Poker Player effectively stating he had suspicions that the Learn Bitcoin account was being operated by a known chief manipulator and multiple account operator ( naim027). For those that might have no idea of the background to this matter, here is the post in question: What's more, I'll tell you, I've long believed that this is one of naim027's accounts: Learn BitcoinBut I also believe that with this account he is not being a jerk and I doubt very much that he is going to be, since it is profitable enough for him to comply with the rules. Here are some threads related to naim027: 'John Abraham ≈ naim027' Coincidence or Connection? Please permaban naim027an Appeal For naim027. (SOLVED)Hello World || Welcome back again! When an accusation is made, there are no set rules how one should address them. In my case, I mostly ignore threads are created in the Reputation board about me and maybe others can do the same if threads are created about them because not responding should not and does not imply guilt. However, I did send a PM to Learn Bitcoin asking him to post a direct response in that thread but he refused. Here is my point of view on the matter. I think the Learn Bitcoin account has made a mistake by not responding to the comment in the same thread it was made. His subsequent refusal to address it does add to the speculation especially because naim027 was a prolific account farmer and also a compulsive liar that would gladly do whatever it took to line his pockets regardless of the way he did it. Any genuine member that is assumed/presumed/accused/alluded to being an account operated by naim027 should probably address matter early on or as soon as possible to distance themselves from that name. I brought that post and thread to his attention via PM but the Learn Bitcoin account refused to post in that thread or engage. Overall, what are the general views within the community on this matter?

self-moderated to keep this thread clean from trolls, attention-seekers and signature spammersBREAKING NEWS!! IBF Heavyweight Title Fight DUBOIS vs PARKER 22nd February 2025 Dubois will defend his IBF title against Parker on 22nd February 2025 in Saudi Arabia. There was always an immediate rematch clause between Dubois and Joshua but it was never activated. The reason why Joshua decided to avoid getting in the ring with Dubois again was fear of being battered again. I do not think the loss affected Joshua more than any other loss but the manner in which he was destroyed by Dubois was the reason Joshua avoided the rematch. Dubois is supremely confident now he is a world champions but he remains fully focused. I think Parker deserved his chance at a title again and this will be a fantastic fight because both boxers deserve to be sharing the ring together with the winner taking the IBF belt and will probably fight the winner of the Fury vs Usyk rematch. Parker beat Wilder and then Zhang in his last two fights when many boxers would have avoided them but Parker is a phenomenal boxer. After losing back to back fights in 2018 to Joshua and then Whyte, he lost in 2022 to Joyce. His record stands at a respectable W30 L3 and considering he is just 32 years old he can be around for a few years regardless of the outcome. I will update the thread with more details as they are released to the media. ====================== LOCAL RULE ALL MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE:I want to try to keep this thread clean and legible.

I have seen far too many accounts doing the same thing but today I decided to pick one out and post about it. I noticed a thread created by " xbartoni" with the name Is the newbie just being scammed by scammers? therefore had a look as my immediate inclination was alt-account or farmed account even before viewing the thread. Are newbies only being scammed by scammers?
And are those who have been involved in the forum for a long time also being scammed?
I saw in a headline that it is not only newbies, but also senior people in the forum can be cheated, if they are not careful. So my question is why is it being said that only newbies are being cheated, I hope you can help me find out.xbartoni asked that question on 14th November 2024 and then made a second post on 15th November and in the subsequent period did not post again. He has been posting in other threads in the interim trying to get merits because obviously he was not going to receive any merits for the above thread (unless it was from any account he was potentially controlling). A further look at his post history shows the very first post he made after becoming a member was creating a thread to ask " What should a newbie do in bitcoin investing?" and that question had a significant amount of importance that he made one more post there (which was his second overall post) and did not post again. Why on earth would a real genuine member with genuine curiosity for the question he asked not be interested in maintaining the conversation to gain more knowledge/tips/advice unless he really was putting on a facade and had no interest in the first place except to pretend to be a newbie. In my opinion, even if concrete evidence is not there that this is an alt-account or farmed account, all the giveaway signs are there. I am pleased the account has not received a single merit thus far and hope that all members try whenever possible to check some of the trust/history of an account before giving merits as that is the essential factor that drives them in their mission to build as many accounts as possible which could lead to nefarious conduct. What to make of the situation if members such as "xbartoni" receive no merits? It is an improvement and I think it could be a very good turning point that will improve the forum. Do you share my opinion?

I was looking at some threads today when I saw a post by decodx and it got me thinking. I had not seen any new posts from him for quite some time therefore went to his profile and noticed he has not posted since the middle of June. He has an almost one month gap between May and June with just one post. If I am not mistaken, it is unlike him to have that length of absence. Is anybody in contact with him outside of the forum? I hope he is alright.

I do not appreciate unsolicited PMs and I am sure most of you would feel the same. When those PMs are basically asking you to send money or invest in a project (or so-called project) then I find it extremely annoying. Here is a PM I received a short while ago from a member I do not know and cannot recall ever interacting with. Foxpup has already left the PonderingCuriosity account with a negative tag for: Newbie sending unsolicited PM requesting funding for highly suspicious investment scheme. How many members received the same or similar PM either from PonderingCuriosity or different account? Hello there, Jolly!
I have a bit of an unusual suggestion for you. What if we gathered some crypto to fund production of a remake of a certain underground cult anime?
I know, you just read this and you already hate me, because you hate remakes. No sensible person likes them! But... there is one very unpopular, but still - despite its unpopularity - a commercially successful anime that would only benefit from a remake - both commercially and non-commercially. I'm currently looking for funds to produce it.
Why remake that anime?
IT IS A PART OF A COMMERCIALLY SUCCESSFUL FRANCHISE - despite its unpopularity, it made a ton of money for its producers, especially through merchandise sales. Its figures still sell so well that many people learn about this anime through its merchandise, instead of the other way around. If a remake is made, it will likely generate no less profit. IS IS A CULT ANIME DESPITE ITS UNPOPULARITY - indicative of its high quality, it gets as much attention from its niche fanbase as mainstream cult anime get from the general public (including the amount of money spent on merchandise). The quality and quantity of fan analyses for this anime compare to fan analyses of Neon Genesis Evangelion, one of the most critically acclaimed anime in the history. No other anime fandom is this small and this loyal. IT NEVER GOT THE DESERVED ATTENTION - due to an incompetent marketing campaign, this anime was made for adults but gathered an audience of kids and teenagers, who were mostly not old enough to enjoy it. It naturally selected the most mature of them as its most loyal fans, but at the cost of remaining unpopular. Even people who don't like it tend to agree that it deserves way more attention. A remake with a competent marketing campaign will fix this problem. IT HAS FLAWS THAT HAVE TO BE CORRECTED - while this show is a masterpiece, it is a masterpiece in the same way Neon Genesis Evangelion is: not devoid of problems, it required The End of Evangelion to fix them. The problems in its writing, production and marketing all have to be addressed in a remake. IT WAS TOO AHEAD OF ITS TIME - it does not even look this old as it is. It uses animation technologies available back in the day in a way you never saw. It foreshadowed the further creative success of its authors who later made other, more popular, cult anime. It was probably just a bit too ahead of its time. THE TIME HAS FINALLY CAUGHT UP AFTER IT - an unique event that preceded and inspired the creation of this anime is going to happen again, and it would be just right in time to produce a remake shortly after, just like this anime was produced back in the day.
If you are interested - whether it is profit motive or only genuine curiosity at this point - ask me and I will send you the name of the anime along with a short Slides presentation that explains what makes it unlike other anime, and the best Nyaasi torrent where you can download it from. I strongly recommend you to make it your next watch because this is one of the works of cinema (not just anime - cinema in general!) that makes viewers regret not watching them earlier.
Thank you for your attention!

I have left a neutral tag for Ricardo11 for his disgusting attempt at trying to get merits under the guise of a commemorative thread: Happy birthday o_e_l_e_o.Once upon a time I would have given a red tag but those days are far behind me. Now I tend to try to give a neutral tag for almost 99% of nefarious activity I notice. Many months ago I should have given a tag for another the relatively new account at the time of Mia Chloe ended up creating a thread containing a poem hoping to get merits without evening knowing who the person actually was but took advantage of the situation: Eulogy for light_warrior.Just as I should have given a neutral tag when the borovichok account claimed he went on a charity run to raise money for a Bitcoin hero when he did no such thing but decided to go on a merit hunting spree after he purchased the account and that helped get him to Hero rank and on the Stake campaign: Hal Finney RUNNING BITCOIN- What was Bitcointalk contribution? $65k raised!Enough. Any threads created by relatively new accounts mentioning deceased forum members that seem to be disgusting attempts for merits will receive an appropriate tag. The excellent manner in which Pmalek captures the thread in the first two posts highlights what a commemorative thread should look like. Here is a perfect example of how to create a genuine thread to preserve the legacy of someone important to the forum: o_e_l_e_o's 100 Most Merited Posts

self-moderated to keep this thread clean from trolls, attention-seekers and signature spammersJOSHUA vs DUBOIS 21st SEPTEMBER 2024 WEMBLEY STADIUM, LONDON Now that Oleksandr Usyk vacated the IBF belt, Dubois has been awarded the the IBF champion title because he was the interim belt holder after beating Hrgovic. It gives Joshua a chance at getting one of the belts back that he lost to Usyk but it also means the rematch between Fury and Usyk will not result in a unification fight. At the face-off, Frank Warren stood next to his boxer Dubois whereas Eddie Hearn stood next his boxer Joshua. ====================== LOCAL RULE ALL MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE:I want to try to keep this thread clean and legible.
If you make posts that are quoting more than 2 members in a single direct reply, it will probably be deleted therefore if your main priority is to post to earn signature campaign fees it will affect your quota if your post gets deleted.
Feel free to individually quote and individually reply to each quote to as many members as you want within your post, as that is acceptable.
Some members are quoting 4+ members in their unnecessary walls of text and then making a two line post to reach their signature campaign targets to earn their fees and it is not acceptable in this thread.
Please keep this local rule in mind when posting here. Thank you.

It seems like yesterday that I had made 10,000 posts during my journey in the forum and now I am on 17,000 posts. Upon reaching this particular milestone I did not have feelings of jubilation, I think it is just a reminder that slowly but surely numbers increase every day. With that it is also a reminder that every so often we learn about members that were part of the forum are sadly no longer with us (and our condolences and best wishes are always for their family, friends and loved ones). When I reached 10,000 posts I had a different feeling, it felt like a memorable moment for me and at the time I did it without wearing a signature. Since then I have participated in numerous campaigns and it has been different journey because it has been financially rewarding too. If I am fortunate enough to have good health and am able to continue being a forum member, I will be posting about my 20,000th posts milestone one day ------------------ What were your feelings when you reached a milestone that had sentimental value to you regardless of what others may have thought about it? It could be about the number of posts made or related to merits or anything else. Kindly share.

If you are wondering why a thread supposedly about quantum blockchains created by a forum newbie using the name Orleans19 was locked and his OP deleted, I think it was down to him realising he was going to be asked tough questions and if there were any nefarious intentions they would have been exposed very fast. This is the thread in question: QuantumLink and the QuantumChain Hello everyone,
My curiosity and passion for technological innovation have brought me to this platform. Over the last few months, I have been deeply researching blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. This journey has led me to develop a practical and groundbreaking concept that forms the foundation of a new technology—QuantumChain and QuantumLink. This is blockchain reimagined, a complete revolution in decentralized technology.
I am here to learn from the insightful posts of Satoshi and others, as I work on my highly decentralized system. QuantumChain and QuantumLink are designed to create a massive shift, providing a parallel system that enhances security, speed, and scalability beyond current blockchain capabilities. I believe this technology has the potential to reshape the digital landscape and bring about unprecedented advancements.
I look forward to engaging with this community and gaining valuable insights as I continue to develop this revolutionary technology.
I asked him to elaborate what his supposed genius plan was but he declined to share further details. The question arises why was he posting about something but not elaborating. He did send a PM of his own volition therefore I can share it: ------------------------------ QuantumChain is a cutting-edge, decentralized blockchain technology inspired by the black opal, offering unprecedented speed, security, and scalability. It seamlessly integrates blockchain, DAG, AI, quantum computing, and IoT, creating a hybrid system optimized for future advancements.
Key Features:
• Speed: QuantumChain can handle over 1 million TPS, outperforming Bitcoin (7 TPS) and Ethereum (30 TPS). • Security: Quantum-safe algorithms and advanced cryptographic methods ensure superior protection. • Scalability: Efficient consensus mechanisms and sharding allow limitless growth. • Decentralization: Eliminates central points, ensuring robustness and autonomy. • Ecosystem: Incorporates decentralized cloud, finance, smart contracts, and more.
Advantages Over Bitcoin and Ethereum:
• Faster Transactions: QuantumChain’s speed is exponentially higher. • Enhanced Security: Quantum-safe features outpace existing cryptographic methods. • Greater Scalability: No bottlenecks, unlike Bitcoin’s block limits and Ethereum’s gas issues.
QuantumLink is the cryptocurrency built on QuantumChain, designed to be versatile and future-proof, supporting diverse applications from finance to healthcare and beyond.------------------------------ In my opinion the now locked thread was the first step in what were going to be several steps in trying to scam gullible members under the guise of seeking funds. This is not a project, it is a figment of imagination from someone that has a wild imagination therefore if the member returns I would advise you to engage with him using caution. Orleans19 locked his post and tried to erase his claims about his quantum blockchain but this thread contains his claim and will remain open. Maybe he will take the opportunity an unlocked thread provides and will post here.

I cannot be the only one that has noticed there seems to be a calm now for several days in the Reputation board because unlimitedmoneygenerator and his GluttonyY alt-account have been very quiet. Though I appreciate the fact the accounts are not currently being used to troll and spam, I am curious about their status because neither account seems to be banned but all of the threads created by those accounts are locked. Judging by the way he posts, I doubt it would be his own decision to lock the threads. What do you think happened, did a moderator lock them and are the accounts now on a hiatus?

This member EtihadBitcoin is showing as "This user recently woke up from a long period of inactivity" because they last made a post in December 2017. For some unknown reason EtihadBitcoin woke up to make an unnecessary post in a thread that was last posted in two months ago. Though we cannot understand the mindset of every member that behaves in strange ways, what do accounts such as these aim to achieve when ultimately they are simply wasting their time (especially accounts that have already been tagged and will not be taken seriously nor be able to receive weekly money by enrolling on signature campaigns). I would not create a thread each time a member wakes up after years of sleeping to make a dubious post but the question remains about why they do it when it looks like a time wasting exercise on their part. === ===
