There are plenty of users here who keeps on creating bounty related topics in the altcoin discussion board. Don't you notice that those topics you created were being transferred to another board? Next time you open about those kind of threads, please use the service discussion (altcoins) board where they belong https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=198.0It's already hard to look for a good topic to discuss in the main altcoins board so please post your bounty concerns on the correct board.
@mods I understand that this is not the right place for my topic also and I apologize for that. I would have preferred to post this on meta but none of these hunters visit and read posts there.

That's according to this news report https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-soccer-asia-corruption/soccer-asia-sees-sharp-decline-in-match-fixing-says-afc-idUKKBN2080EN After linking bitcoin and other crypto with money laundering and online crimes, here comes another issue ...traditional payments from financial institutions and wire transfers have switched to methods like cryptocurrencies or even payment in kind.
We have observed an increase in adoption of cryptocurrency as a payment method for illegal activities and a medium to bet. It doesn't sound good that crypto is being used by illegal gamblers but it is just a medium of exchange that any individual can spend like fiats. I guess they found crypto, being borderless and censorship resistant currency, more practical to use for gambling.

I am in luck to day The first two topics I opened in this board is about this titan coin. They are kind of making some good post but it is clear that the end game was to shill the coin. Here, take a look at the two posts I was talking about Topic 1So, I was looking for some altcoins to invest in and many experts here advised me to do my research before investing in any new coin. In fact, most people to whom I asked advice in this regard told me to thoroughly research a new coin before investing in it. Fair enough. So, now my question is how exactly I do that.
I was reading online and found a few blogs that talk about the factors to consider while evaluating a new cryptocurrency or project. Factors that include research on Crypto coin based on a number of things such as the purpose, use of blockchain, coin economics, usage, team, etc. Is there anything else that I should be looking for or are these the only factors to consider? I challenge you to research these coins according to your factors: Tezos (XTZ) (Check on coinmarketcap) ThoreCoin (THR) (Check on coinmarketcap) Titan Coin (TTN) (Check on coinmarketcap) Binance Coin (BNB) (Check on coinmarketcap) Bytom (BTM) (Check on coinmarketcap) Let's see who have the best and relevant researching skills in the crypto market.
Comment of OP on the same topicI have been reading on multiple comunities and gathering data about the top trending coins for investment. So far, what most people have suggested is that I should invest only in top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and ETH, because one cannot simply trust the new coins. I agree on that part. But my concern is the high price volatility of these coins. I want to invest in short term and can't afford to take risk with such highly unstable coins.
Many experts have also advised me to do my research before investing in a new coin. I did that and found out about one or two coins which seem really genuine and worth my time and money. For instance, Titan Coin presents a good enough case in the form of an altcoin which works similar to bitcoin.
I also checked announcement thread of titan projects on bitcointalk, according to which they are regularly launching apps, exchange is also coming. What I mean by that is they are progressing in development part and other forums and media are also talking good future about the project.
What is your take on this?
Topic 2Well, I am thinking about investing in Titan coin. Yeah, I researched on this coin a lot and now the project is delivering the apps, exchanges, offers as they promised earlier.
My current portfolio includes
6K$ = BNB 4K$ = EOS 10K$ = ETH 5K$ = BTC
Total: $25k
Now, I would like to include the titan coin in my portfolio: $5K
6k$ = BNB 4k$ = EOS 5k$ = TTN 5k$ = ETH 5K$ = BTC
My strategy is to sell 50% eth coins and invest in TTN Coin. What’s your suggestions experts? I would like to know your honest review and suggestion on my decision.
Thanks in Advance.
I know they are not the very first project to do this method and many more will do the same in the future. If they can freely send an army of shill accounts, I think it's just fair for us to call them out right?

No KYC required to use the platform. 2. Non-custodial. You have control over your funds (you can export the private keys). 3. Better UI/UX. 4. Support in-person (cash) transactions (unlike LBC).

They've admitted that their previous metric isn't enough to combat the problem of volume inflation and that they are thinking/hoping that this "Liquidity metric" will be the solution. In the past year, with increasing volume inflation, the volume metric started to lose its purpose as a reliable way to gauge real trading interest. Other solutions, such as handpicking only a few “trusted” exchanges or using unrelated metrics like web traffic, were non-comprehensive and did not address the root cause of the issue.
Our new metric will focus on what matters most to investors and traders: liquidity. With our Liquidity metric, we hope to provide public good to the crypto markets by encouraging the provision of liquidity instead of the inflation of volumes. They mentioned the details/methodology here but it appears blank page when I open it. Here are the key highlights though: To highlight a few key points: - Liquidity refers to the ease of being able to trade in and out of an asset, or in this case cryptocurrencies.
- The Liquidity metric by CoinMarketCap takes into account a wider range of key variables from the order book, such as the distance of the order from the mid-price, the size of the order and the relative liquidity of the asset in question.
- The metric has been designed to measure liquidity in an adaptive manner and the calculation is made by polling the market-pair at random intervals over a 24-hour period and averaging the result. This takes into consideration differences in global time zones and the fact that order-book depth changes constantly due to immediate market conditions.
What do you guys think about this move by coinmarketcap? I would guess it's a move to salvage their losing credibility/reputation and bring back serious traders to use their platform again.
I am not sure where to post this, please move if posted on the wrong board.

Ito yung na-send na private message sa kanya User: dj6230 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=128222The PM from dj6230 was: Hi, Mycelium uses the same bip39 standard and derivation paths as Ledger so let's use the Ledger toolkit to try to locate the address holding the funds: 1. Open https://xxxxxxxx (tinanggal ko na for safety reason) 2. Where it says "BIP39 Mnemonic" paste or type your 12 word seed from Mycelium 3. Scroll down and click "BIP32" 4. For client select "Coinomi, Ledger" 5. It will show ALL BTC addresses derived from your 12 word seed, try to locate the btc address hodling the funds Reply when you have found it and i will show you how to import it again with the funds visible.

$BGBP - Pegged to GBP $BUSD - Pegged to USD

What do you guys think of this move by Waves Dex adding ethereum tokens to be traded into their exchange?
On a development standpoint, I think it is good since traders would want to have an all in one DEX. I also think this move was done to bring in more liquidity because the team realized that they can never beat Dex's that trades ethereum tokens.

Mula sa article https://bitpinas.com/news/crypto-stealing-malware-clipsa-targeted-computers-in-the-philippines/Disguised as a codec installer for media players, Clipsa is written in Visual Basic and primarily a password stealer. It can steal admin credentials on WordPress sites and replace crypto addresses in the clipboard, not to mention mine cryptocurrency on infected computers.
Clipsa performs several actions, including searching for cryptowallet addresses in the clipboard and then replaced it with the wallet addresses by the bad actors who created it.......
According to Avast, Clipsa’s campaign is most prevalent in India where Avast blocked more than 43,000 infection attempts.
In the Philippines, Avas said it protected “more than 15,000 users” from Clipsa. In Brazil, it blocked 13,000 attempts.........
Avast found out that when Clipsa is installed, it comes with more than 9,000 addresses that can hold stolen funds. From its findings, the bad actors are successful in stealing over 3 bitcoin, which is Php 1.8 million in today’s exchange rates.

If it hasn't been suggested yet, I would also like to have an option of getting notified everytime a user I follow makes a new post. It is easier and more convenient than using the search for members function. Thanks!

I see a notify option for a particular topic but is there also feature on this forum where I can get notified whenever a user I would like to follow makes a new post?

In case you are not aware yet, there is a trust flag system in this forum that you (bounty hunters) can use against these bounty campaigns for violations of contract. Check the quoted text below for reference. Use-cases 2 and 3 will be handled by a new system of flags. You can create a flag using a link on a person's trust page.
A newbie-warning flag is active if there are more people supporting such a flag than opposing it. It shows a banner on topics started by the flagged user for guests and for users with less than 7 days of login time. For all users, a "#" is shown next to their trust scores.
For contractual violations only, a scammer flag can be created. This is the only thing which causes the "Warning: trade with extreme caution" warning to return. It also triggers a banner similar to the newbie-warning banner which is visible to all users. A scammer flag requires 3 more supporting users than opposing users to become active.
A new scammer flag should be created for each separate alleged incident. In the spirit of forgiveness/redemption, scammer flags expire 3 years after the incident if the contract was casual/implied, and 10 years after the incident if the contract was written. These expiration times might be administratively changed in specific cases.
Creating or supporting a scammer flag is actively affirming a set of pretty clear fact-statements. If someone knowingly supports a flag containing incorrect fact-statements, then that is crystal-clear abuse, and I will seek to have such people removed from DT ASAP. People who are habitually wrong, even not knowingly, should also be removed.
Only users in your trust network count as supporting or opposing flags. For guests, the default trust network is used.
I am not a lawyer but I think changing rules at the end of the campaign like suddenly requiring KYC before you can get your reward is an example of contract violations. If you want to know how it looks like, check this flag created for TerraGreen If in the future you see campaigns violating contracts, you can use the example above. Please be sure to provide the proper evidence.

Kapansin-pansin din sa article yung mga rehiyon na may pinakamataas na bilang During the period of 12 months, “Bitcoin” is most popular in Southern Philippines in areas labeled by Google as “Davao Region”, “Caraga”, and “Region XII”. Search interest is highest in the cities of Tagum, Davao, and General Santos.
