Economy / Speculation / BTC Sentiment Poll for July
on: July 02, 2022, 04:36:14 PM
First of all, this thread is all about fun and games. Let's not take this guessing game too seriously and let's not take ourselves too seriously. One thing I've noticed is a lot of people in here want to look smart or wants to have a bit of clout in the forum. C'mon we're all the same here. Second, there's no escape this time. Just answer with a 'yes' or a 'no'. None of that 'no idea' bs. Let's make it fun! So yeah.. based on what you see here in this chart, please answer the poll.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / ETH Sentiment Poll for June
on: June 02, 2022, 03:56:18 PM
Just like the BTC sentiment thread that I've been doing every month, I'd like to know what the guys who are mostly into altcoins are feeling with the market right now. But we'll mostly be talking about the top altcoin Ethereum. So yeah, with the merge being postponed again from July to September, what do you guys think will happen? Will there be another postponement? How will it affect the price? Will 1700 - 1800 range hold or do we see another drop? I'm really curious what you guys are thinking rn.

Economy / Speculation / BTC Sentiment Poll for June
on: June 01, 2022, 04:23:57 PM
Here we are again. Another new month, another new sentiment poll... And hopefully the sentiment is more positive than last month. But I can only hope and hope doesn't control what the market does. So I give it you, my fellow members of or beloved BCT. Please check out the chart below and vote for what you think... Is 27k - 28k the lowest of the lows it can get for 2022 and beyond? Is it all going up from here on forth?

Economy / Speculation / BTC Sentiment Poll for May
on: May 08, 2022, 09:12:13 PM
Here's the monthly chart. It's pretty clear that it is not looking good rn but then again we've seen these spots with BTC before a lot of times when it all looks bad til it's not. You guys think the bulls will come back at least for this month and get the price to go above at least 40k again or are we in bear territory? I see some people in these parts saying we're not in a bear market yet. But dunno.. would like to hear from them again.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / SHIB Listed in Robin Hood
on: April 12, 2022, 04:12:05 PM
SHIB and a few other altcoins were listed in Robin Hood just today, more like just a couple or so hours ago. This is huge as mainstream retail, WSB types use Robin Hood... Now have access to SHIB. In case you guys have no idea what Robin Hood is... It's an app where you can buy stocks and crypto and it's catered for retail traders. You guys are prolly familiar with meme stocks, right? Yup mostly Robin Hood users trade them and they coordinate in Reddit. Anyway, SHIB is up a tad over 20% today but not enough to get itself out of its current range. Prolly a good time to start buying some?

Economy / Speculation / BTC Sentiment Poll for April
on: April 11, 2022, 04:02:59 PM
After failing to stay above 44k - 45k, it's hard not to feel bearish... And sure, that could be the sentiment right now but the question is are we really technically entering a bear market? Just curious what you guys think. I won't join the poll but I think if BTC breaks down below 28k - 30k that's when it starts being a full blown bear market. You guys could have a different take. Would like to know them.

on: February 28, 2022, 04:57:48 PM
Hey guys... Here we are again and it looks like the final day of Feb could be giving us hints of what’s in store for the market for the month of March. And it’s obv looking really good! Nothing like a long green candle to get those dopamines going. Lol. Anyway here’s a chart. Same levels of resistance as last month, both at around 45k and and 51k. I’m feeling good about this one tbh. Leeezz gooo!

Hey guys, just wondering what the sentiment of the regs are here in the speculation section. This isn’t a right or wrong answer by any means, I just want to know how everybody’s feeling with the market right now and what you guys think. Just pick an answer and drop a line. Thanks. Here’s a chart... Green boxes are areas of resistance. First around 44k - 45k and another one at 50k - 51k.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Blue Horse Shoe Loves SXP II
on: December 30, 2021, 01:38:42 PM
SXP/USDT broke out resistance a couple of weeks after hitting strong support of around 1.35ish USD... One of the times SXP did it, it went from 1.36 USD to 4.58 USD. So judging from past performance it could go on a decent run of 3x from recent bottom... Probably more if BTC behaves? I haven’t gotten in yet tbh but got some buy limit orders at 1.75 - 1.80. I’m not sure why it was bought up... Just want to get in for the price action. Lol. What do you guys think? Chart...

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Alts Decoupling? A Poll...
on: September 01, 2021, 04:00:06 PM
As the title says.. From what I’m seeing right now, ETH seems to be winning but then again has there been any scenario in the history of the crypto market when most of the alts weren’t dragged down by BTC?
What do you guys think? Will we finally be having a decoupling?

Economy / Speculation / Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year?
on: June 25, 2021, 08:21:13 PM

The sentiment around here seems kinda mixed. WO thread seems slightly bearish but I see people in other threads that are slightly bullish. So.. for the bulls out there, do you guys think BTC will break out of its recent high of 65k USD this year? If yes, please explain why.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Is This Chart Bullish or Bearish?
on: May 13, 2021, 12:16:03 PM
Ey guys, I need your help. Here’s a chart of an alt I’m interested in buying but I’m not really sure if it’s starting to look bullish or if it’s down trend continues... I mean with the whole market being in the red and all. But just by looking at the chart, without bias, and just by optics or how it looks, is the chart bullish or bearish? Edit: I won’t tell you guys the name of the alt for now. I’ll tell you later.

Economy / Speculation / Don’t Panic V
on: April 16, 2021, 11:31:22 AM
Wups... So there’s news swirling around that a coal mine explosion at some province in China caused a huge power outage and prolly also caused BTC’s hash rate to drop by 30% or so. That’s prolly the reason for the market sell down rn. Just another over reaction by the market as usual.

Economy / Speculation / Don’t Panic IV

There was a huge difference between the sell down of 2017 which caught everybody off guard and thought it was just another dip and the sell downs we’re seeing today. 2017 ended the bull market, the last two and this one we’re seeing today are all controlled sell downs. At least that’s how I’m seeing it. As to why this is.. No idea. Prolly some whale selling his bags or it’s prolly another shake out before it goes back to trending up. But I’m pretty sure the bull market not over. And some alts are in the green. Decoupling? Alt szn?

Economy / Speculation / Don’t Panic III

From the looks of it at the hourly from March 3, 8:00am ET to now, there’ve been dumps followed by small pumps making lower lows and lower highs. And I noticed the sell downs have been starting mostly around 8:00am - 10:00am New York time, 8:00am - 10:00am London time and 8:00am - 10:00am Hong Kong time... Right now it’s around 6:00am New York time. In a couple or so hours another sell down taking BTC below 45k - 46k could take place.
