1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Request: BTCe MT4 trading data on: April 21, 2014, 08:29:11 PM
Hi all,

I've been using BTCe leverage trading on MT4, but I noticed the data is not the same as for the normal trading in BTCe.

I wanted to do some statistical analysis of the data, but the historical data provided in the MT4 platform is very limited.

Does anyone have all the data, or at least a big chunk of it (from the beginning of the year) and can provide it?
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Localbitcoins where did my BTC go? on: January 31, 2014, 07:20:25 PM
Anyone having problems with Localbitcoins?

I just tried to deposit some BTC to my wallet, it already has 7 confirmations on BlockChain and nothing shows up at localbitcoins.

Worst, my wallet address changed for some motive to a very old one I had there.

Anyone had this problem before? I'm trying to send the BTC to a buyer and now I can't.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Can anyone move my BTC using an old backup and old password of a wallet? on: December 18, 2013, 02:53:35 PM
Hi,
this might seem a very simple question but I can't find a straight answer to it.

Imagine someone has access to an old backup of my wallet (QT client, Multibit, Electrum, etc...) and that this person has also the original password of that wallet.

That password has changed now, but can someone move my BTC with the old data?
4  Other / MultiBit / Multibit Failsafe-data folder. Is this part of a hack? on: December 17, 2013, 07:21:24 PM
Hi,
my account got hacked 2 days ago and the hacker took more than 4 BTC from me.
I know for some of you it's a very low amount, but believe me, for me it was quite a hit.  Embarrassed

Anyway, while trying my best to make sure my computer is protected now, I noticed a Multibit Failsafe-data folder in my Documents folder. Until now I always thought the hack had something to do with my Dropbox account and not with my laptop, but after seeing this I'm very suspicious.

The date of creation is from the day of the hack, about the time I changed my wallet password. I'm sure I didn't create that folder myself, nor did I ask Multibit to create it.

So - this might seem a bit paranoid, but - is this folder supposed to be there and it's something Multbit does automatically, or can this be related to some backdoor left behind by the hacker?
5  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / My Wallet got hacked and the hacker paid huge transaction fees to take the money on: December 15, 2013, 03:26:23 PM
Hi guys,
my wallet just got hacked. I still don't understand how, but since they where newly minted coins, the hacker paid 3.40 BTC fees to take out 3.81 BTC out of my wallet :/

The destination wallet was: 1LUJr2Sq2ECpernwZBngwnuzguiHpUXWyD

Is there any way I can at least get these transaction fees back?

How should I proceed about this in general? Do you think it's a good idea to send a micropayment to this wallet with a message saying these are stolen coins?
6  Bitcoin / Electrum / Send coins from a specific receiving address on: November 30, 2013, 03:21:27 PM
Hi all,
I have a specific wallet in Electrum for a shares miner with some friends and I would like to send them their BTC specifically from on of the addresses.

So, is it possible to choose the address from which the coins come from when creating a SEND operation?
7  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / "Share above target" errors on: November 28, 2013, 02:38:33 PM
Hello,
I'm getting a lot of there "Share above target" messages when running my Jupiter KNCminer.

What do they mean? Do they affect the mining performance performance?
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / New Kncminner Jupiter, with 0GH/s after installing 0.99 firmware on: November 27, 2013, 10:43:55 PM
Hi guys,
I just received the Jupiter, I was setting it up and yes it worked, but since in the manual it said to install the firmware, well I did it.

After that, it starts and I can configure a pool. It connects to the pool, but it doesn't hash... absolutely nothing.

What's happening? Can anybody help.

Thanks.
9  Economy / Service Discussion / MtGox wallet address for withdrawal (or how to get its blockchain info) on: November 09, 2013, 04:57:37 PM
Hello,
is there any way to get the wallet address of MtGox for and withdrawal so that you can follow the confirmation process in blockchaininfo?

The fantastic costumer services of MtGox obviously answered with an automated response that has nothing to do with the question, so I was wondering if anyone in the forum had the answer.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / How will it be possible to make transactions after all coins are mined? on: November 08, 2013, 09:53:49 AM
As far as I understand, the mechanism to confirm a bitcoin transaction is to include that in the next mined blocks.

So, what happens when all the blocks are mined or when they start to take too long to mine? According to this it should be the end of bitcoin transactions, but that doesn't make sense, how will it work?
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Buying, selling and Escrows on: November 07, 2013, 08:28:59 PM
Hi all, my first post here.
The reason I started reading the posts was because of some auctions here.

Well, I'm not thinking about it right now, but in the future I would like to use the site to buy or sell, but one question comes to mind: Security.

I know you can use an Escrow, but thing is, how can I be secure with an escrow?

For instance, I sold some BTC in localbitcoins by bank transfer a few days ago, in an escrowed sale. It actually went well, but if I never received the money, how would I prove I really didn't received the money?

I mean, how will the escrow actually cheek I never received an miner I bought here for instance, or that someone I sold some bitcoins to never actually made the bank transfer? Sincerely, this put's me off a bit, but perhaps there are some good practices I should use that dismiss the problem and that you can direct me to.
