Is x-grape.io a legitimate exchange?  I met someone who keeps encouraging me to sign up there. Never heard of it before and can't seem to find any reviews. I was able to register with an invitation code but haven't provided any personal information yet.

So I had Google Authenticator set up on my old phone. Had 2FA enabled on all exchanges, Coinbase, biance, bittrex, etc etc. When I got a new phone I didn't realize the 2FA had to be reprogrammed and I factory reset the old phone.  Well luckily I have saved ALL of my security keys from when the 2FA was set up back in 2017.  No problem right?

Well the exchanges are saying my 2FA code is invalid. I entered the long security key into Google Authenticator and it was accepted and generates the six digit codes. However Coinbase and all the other exchanges that I reentered the security keys for also say the authentication codes are invalid.

I have tried to update the Authenticator time sync, but it says it was already updated.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Today I tried to move some ITNS coins to my new wallet. Yesterday I tested it with 2 coins and the transfer was successful. Today I tried to move the remaining balance (400k+) and the withdrawal was canceled by an admin.

I've opened a ticket but of course no response yet. Any idea why they would cancel?

I have a gaming computer with dual EVGA 1080TI's that are slightly over clocked and a mining rig running 7 AMD RX 580 8 gig with factory clock settings plus the gaming rig is CPU mining with an I8700k. Both machines are running nicehash and combined I am only making $15 to $16.00 a day. Does this seem low? I was really hoping for $20 to $25 a day. I have the RX580 rig mining Equihash only since a lot of the other algorithms it would switch to made even less money.

Still trying to figure out what specs I should set the RX580s to so I can over clock them. I am running Adrenaline drivers on them.

Take Bytecoin right now. Their blockchain is over 9 gigs to download. How big will it be in 20 or 30 years? (assuming its still around).  What solutions are going to be in place for people to download and store such a massive file?

Nicehash legacy miner keeps crashing. Locks the entire system up forcing me to drive 20 minutes (one way) to manually restart it.

Specs:

XFX AMD Radeon RX 580 8 Gig cards x 7
Asus Z270-A motherboard
Dual EVGA 1000w power supplies
AMD Blockchain drivers
The GPU's are all running on stock settings, no over clocking or any modding. Figured I wanted to get the rig 100% stable before I tried any overclocking.

I had been running only four RX 580's on Nicehash and had it working pretty well (stable at least). Yesterday afternoon I put in new power supplies and added three additional RX 580's.  Now Nicehash is locking up/crashing every couple of hours. Thinking it might be a problem when changing algorithms I tried disabling them all except for equihash and it just locked up again!

The only thing I can find in the log file that might be an issue is:

[ComputeDeviceManager.Query] CudaDevicesDetection found no devices. CudaDevicesDetection returned: CUDA error in func 'CudaDetection::QueryDevices' at line 17 : CUDA driver version is insufficient for CUDA runtime version.


To complicate things further, most of the cards get about a 300 h/s rate but about 50% of the time GPU 6 will only have a 150 or 200 h/s. I've tried replacing the PCI-E riser with no difference.  When I run Claymore miner for intense coin, all 7 GPU's get about 620-650 h/s.

I'm not really sure what else I can do or try at the moment to fix the problem with Nicehash. Can anyone recommend a more stable but equally profitable mining program & pool I can point these GPU's to?  Tried of driving across down tonight so I just ran the ITNS Claymore miner but that will only make me about $7 bucks per 24 hours and seems like a waste of resources for  7 RX 580s. Luckily I get free power (why it's across town) but still.

Running a Nicehash AMD legacy miner on a rig with four RX 580s.

Every night between 2 and 4 AM something happens to the rig where it loses it's connection and stops mining. When this happens it can no longer be remotely accessed and requires a physical power cycle to get running again. Makes it a real bitch when you're 400 miles away from the machine.

Any idea what the problem may be? The log file says:

"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:4000"

OK fine it can't connect whatever, but why would that knock the whole computer system offline requiring a restart?

I've got an ibuypower computer with two Nvidia EVGA 1080TI's in it running nicehash when the computer isn't in use. One of the GPU's is at 84*C and the other stays at 75*C. Any idea why there is such a difference between them, and how can I set the temperature limits for the cards?  What is the max safe temp for these cards? Unfortunately the computer is 400 miles away and I can't remotely access it to make any changes until Friday. So hopefully I'm not nuking one of my brand new cards.

I have a rig with 8 gig AMD RX 580 and decided to try out Nicehash on it. After a couple hours of benchmarking it started mining and the cards are only getting 295 to 300 h/s each. Why is this so low? Less than 1/2 the h/s when mining other coins...

Also looks like the card temps are getting really hot... 82*C but my fan speeds are only running at 40%??   And if I try to change any settings in the miner program that effect the GPU's the whole system freezes up.  Running AMD blockchain drivers

So I built up my first mining rig and didn't research thoroughly enough. I bought two Corsair 750w power supplies for $80 bucks each. They only have two 8 pin slots each to connect to GPU's and if I were to run a Y splitter i'd be afraid of a fire. So right now I can only run 4 AMD RX 580s. I ordered two EVGA 1000w power supplies which will be here on the 14th. I have 7 GPU's total and my motherboard will support 8.

Any ideas what I should do with these two Corsair units?  Are there any ultra cheap motherboards that are actually available that'll support 4 GPU's? I could build a 2nd rig smaller rig that only runs 4 cards.

I have an AMD RX580 mining rig that I monitor remotely with GoToMyPC. There is no monitor connected to the computer. Recently I've noticed that when I remote access the mining rig GPU 1 will drop in hash rate by around 50%.  I can look back at the hash rate history and see that before I log in the rate is normal, log in and it drops, log out and it goes back up.

What gives???

Running a four GPU RX 580 mining rig using Claymore miner. Recently build rig that has been running pretty nicely. I have 3 more GPU's but waiting for power cables to be delivered so I can hook them up.

After a few days of mining GPU 1 has dropped to a 352 h/s rate while the other cards are still getting 600+ h/s.   What could cause this?

It happened once before right after I set up the rig after a couple hours of mining. I replaced the PCI-E riser and it went back to 600+ h/s. It seems unlikely that the replacement PCI-E riser would fail again??? And seems strange it would just reduce the hash rate rather than fail all together. GPU temp is being kept around 75C.

Two of them were somewhat dead on arrival... the power would cut off to the GPU's while the computer was starting up.

And anymore suggestions on getting the hash rate into the 700s? GPU 0 will do 650 and the other GPU's had been doing 600 to 610.

I bought a new computer from ibuypower and it has dual 1080 TI's. Figured when I'm not using it I should put the GPU's to work.

They are EV3A GPU's. Currently have nicehash set up but only getting between 1300 and 1500 h/s. I would have thought more since that is about on par with my AMD RX580s at 650 h/s.

Is there a better way I should configure these cards? I did disable SLI.

And surely there must be some shit coins out there that might be worth mining? I don't mind holding the coins for the long term. The $7.50 a day nicehash is estimating both of these cards will make just seems hardly worth while. Has to be something better out there.

Built up my first mining rig. TRYING to run 7 RX 580s but the only power supplies I could find were two Corsair 750w units. So I have them set up running dual, but the problem is each power supply only has two 8 pin connectors. So right now I can only run two GPU's per power supply 

My AMD Radeon cards require both an 8 pin and a 6 pin connection to work. Yeahhh... so obviously this is not an ideal situation but it's what I've got.

The four cards are mining great but I have 3 other GPU's still sitting in the box. I'd really prefer not to have to spend another $360 on a new power supply since I'm past the cut off to return the two Corsairs.

In addition to the two 8 pin connectors, there six 6 pin connectors on the PSU's.  I found this cable on amazon:

And it appears the 6 pin would connect into the PSU and the other two ends 6+2 and the 6 pin would connect into the video cards.

Is this cable safe to run without worrying about starting a fire?  The GPU's are drawing 185w each

Alrighty! Mining noob here and would appreciate some insight and advice. Today I put together my first mining rig. I have 7 AMD Radeon RX 580's, an Asus a270-P motherboard, 8 gigs ram, processor, ghetto home built rack, blah blah.

I couldn't find much in the way of power supplies that were not extremely over priced but was able to find two 750 watt Corsair power supplies at my local best buy, so I grabbed those.

My RX 580's have dual 6 and 8 pin connectors. I tried hooking things up many different ways but the only way I could get the cards to run and be recognized by Windows is if I have both the 6 and 8 pin connectors plugged in. If just the 8 pin is plugged the card just lights up but the fans don't spin and Windows doesn't see the card.

So having to utilize both connectors on the cards brings me to a cabling issue.  Each of the power supplies only have two 8 pin connectors and the rest are 6 pin SATA's.  Only the 8 pin cables have one of both the 8 and 6 pin connectors that go into the GPU's.  Which means currently I've only figured out how to power two cards per power supply. So I'm running 4 cards right now with 3 still sitting in their boxes.

Are there 6 pin SATA cables available that will work so I can get the other three cards running or do I need to find a new power supply??

Also have a couple other questions...

1. What is the max safe temperature these RX 580s can be ran at?

2. I am using Claymore's Miner to mine ITNS coin. I set my -h to 750 and one of the cards (#2) is getting 630 hs and the other three cards are getting 580-590 hs. Why is one card getting 30 more hs than the other 3?

3. When I check the mining pool on the website and plug in my mining address, it says I am getting 3400 hs, which would equate to approx 850 hs per card. A significant difference from what the mining program is reporting. Which is actually accurate?

4. What are some ways I can tweak the cards for the best performance? I get free electricity so not worried about power consumption

5. In Claymore's readme file it says to put "-tt 1" in the config file to have each GPU temperature reported every 30 seconds.  I put the "-tt 1" in the config file, saved it, and restarted the miner, but the temperatures don't report, just the hash rate stats.

6. What is the best way to configure windows 10 to keep the miner running at all times? auto updates suck.

7. Is there any software out there that can monitor the GPU's?

So let me just start off by saying this is a lot more complicated than I originally anticipated. I just want to mine some ITNS Coin.

I have all of the GPU's and both power supplies here already but still waiting on the rest of the parts to ship. While waiting, I figured I would put one of the GPU's to work, and I dug out an old Lenovo (4-5 years old) i3 desktop PC.  Figured it would be quick and easy but here is what I had to do...

Upgrade from 8.1 to Windows 10
Went to install the RX 580 in the PCI-E slot. Man these GPU's are huge! It would not fit in the PC case so I got some tin snips out and trimmed the case so I could pop it in the slot. Powered PC on and some red lights lit up on the GPU, figured that was a good sign.

Went and downloaded drivers and software for the GPU. When installing, got an error that said no GPU found. Hmm okay, turned out in addition to being inserted in the slot, they also have to be plugged directly into a power supply. Stock power supply in the computer had no accommodations for anything else besides what was plugged into the motherboard. No worries I thought, I'll just run one of my new power supplies!   Opened that baby up only to find the plug that goes into the motherboard and the other little one were significantly larger than what the motherboard in the computer could accommodate. Ugh.

Hmm I thought, maybe I can just plug the GPU into the new power supply and let the motherboard and rest of the computer run off the factory lenovo one.  After digging through a billion cables that came with it, I found the one that connects to the GPU. So I plugged that in and turned on the power supply. Fan didnt move so I don't think it was actually doing anything. Tried to install the drivers again and same result, no AMD graphics card found. So I'm going to concede that the shitty old computer just isn't compatible with the new equipment.

But during this it raised some more questions... The GPU came with a 6 pin and an 8 pin cable, both cables had two ends that split off. I assume BOTH of the extra ends get connected to the cable that goes to the power supply. I'm confused as to why they just didn't make a two way plug instead of making a cable with three plugs?

And that leads to another question... how in the heck am I going to plug all 7 GPU's into the power supplies?

As you can see I don't have any real experience in either building mining rigs or computers, but I'm giving it a shot. Would appreciate any help or insight!!!

I found Radeon RX 580's with 8 GB memory for $399 and bought 8 of them. The card only has one small fan, not the massive dual fans like one sees on most other cards.

What do you think? I want to mine ITNS coin and have free electricity

I wanted to set up an 8 GPU rig using 1080 ti cards. I can't find them anywhere except a few for $1300+ or used ones on Ebay for $900-1000.

I can buy a brand new computer with dual 1080 ti's for $2600 bucks that ships in 3 days. So now you can see what I'm thinking...

Buy four of these computers. Essentially paying a little bit over market price for the card and get a free computer.  But here is my dilemma...

Would I be better off setting up all four computers to mine or should I pull the video cards from them and build them into a single mining rig?

Side note: I have unlimited free electricity and cooling systems in place.


ETA I also found PNY 1080 ti cards for about $850 ea. What do you guys think of those?

Has anyone had this happen before? No idea why but livecoin.net denied my XSPEC coin withdraw.

Was trying to send my coins to my sync'd XSPEC desktop wallet. Transaction was "processing" for about 3 days and this morning they sent me an email saying my withdraw request was denied. I only have 675 coins so not a huge amount of money. Emailed support but haven't heard back.

Any ideas???
