144  Economy / Collectibles / My collectibles - gained thru 6 months here on the forums : 5-6-20 to 11-6-20 on: November 06, 2020, 05:21:32 AM
I am a miner first and foremost, a collector second. I originally came to the collectibles area looking for a way to store BTC for my kids and grandchildren and was humbled by the collections of many of the forum members here and found myself desiring to start my own collection. My hope is to eventually have one of everything and to keep them preserved, handed down to my 9-year old grandson who is also a novice miner and is also starting to collect crypto related items. I put a percentage of my mining rewards towards buying collectibles – so the more block rewards, the more I can buy – c’mon blocks! I currently mine BTC, LTC, Doge, DGB, XVG, PYRK, LITB, BTX, ETH, RVN, HNS and XMR.

So now that 6 months have passed since my first purchase here in the collectibles forums, I wanted to make a post to document my purchases and auction/raffle wins that I have gained since the start. I hope to start adding more valuable items soon!
I was originally going to post things in the order I collected them, but I thought that might be too chaotic – so I am going to instead group them up. I hope that makes it a bit easier to keep track of what I have and what I may be missing.
I also have about 30 more items that have not yet arrived, they may have a stock image and an “en route” message, I will update the thread as they come in.  I am also not including anything I owned prior to venturing here (I have more stuff lol) and I am not including my graveyard museum of older miners or current miners.

This one came in a lot with a bunch of other stuff – not sure who made it or how they generated the keys – will never use!

WEIDUK – basic cards to provide easy to use QR codes for accepting payments on BTC, ETH, LTC and Doge --- no private keys are generated, they use public addresses provided by the buyer

SmartPayMINT Tron(TRX) Card. (love how they spelt Crypto as “Cryypto”)

Crypto Pod Dice – nice looking dice with Mantis Crypto logo and Bitcoin logo on dice.

Anonymous and Spy Stainless Steel Cards by liquidoptions #9 of 11  --- I am working on a frame that will hold these and have some RGB LED’s that light them up from the backside. Will update pictures once done.

CRYPTO STAMPS

Austrian CS2 – One of each animal for the colors Black, Blue, Green and Yellow. Private keys were obtained using a flashlight – note one private key passphrase has “satoshi” as one of the words.

Croatian Crypto stamps - due to the way they place the private keys on the stamp – I am not showing an actual picture of my stamps – I am really surprised they did not think to put something over the private key – could have done a hologram or at least made it a scratch off – the rest of their packaging was good – impossible to scan the code without opening it. There are 5 Tiers (one stamp per tier) I have one of each except for Tier 2. And I have an extra of tier 4 that is a cancelled stamp.

145  Economy / Collectibles / [Free Raffle] 2017 and 2018 Zero Euro Notes - 0 slots remaining on: November 03, 2020, 12:22:46 AM
Due to a misunderstanding on my part, I thought these were Polymerbit notes when I purchased them. And after doing more research (what I should have done before I bought them) I realize they are not and are instead produced by produced by Oberthur in France.

Due to their value of approximately $15-$20 ea and the current cost of bitcoin transactions, I don't see any way to sell them really. So, a free raffle it is Smiley

I am going to do 25 slots where each slot has 4 numbers. After all slots are taken, I will select a block and the last two DIGITS of that block will determine the winner.

Please do not repost this or invite others - if they do not visit here, then I would prefer the slots go to those that do.

148  Other / Meta / Ban Evasion for Alamjob239/Bla2kja2k/acemax/RainbowSky on: October 25, 2020, 05:58:30 AM
There is a particular user that keeps returning to Collectibles after getting banned - the people there can always tell that it is him as he often repeats the same antics, the same writing patterns, promotes the same "collectible site".

He has several accounts 4 that are known - and a few that are suspected. In the end, if he behaves we have no issues but so far after 4 accounts with at least 2 of them being banned and one even nuked, I do not think he will correct the actions that cause the problems.

At one point he was Alamjob239 - he was red flagged like crazy for his antics - he then created Bla2kja2k - this account was nuked, the next day he created acemax - that account was also rather quickly red flagged for the same behaviors. He then reappeared as Rainbowsky.

Many people could tell right away that it was him - I knew it because he would message me on telegram and say he was Rainbowsky on the forums and then would 3-4 times a day push his website (the very one that is still on Alamjob239's profile). I tried to be civil but after I declined to manufacture some coin project he wanted me to do, he was then quite rude and would insult me and then call it a joke - I eventually just blocked him on telegram.

He has several threads about his action between meta and reputation sub-forums.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278980.0 - in reputation

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278739.0 - in meta

Can read thru those threads to see the many complaints. Lately, he is now listing items that are also listed on eBay under an account that we know to be his but that he denies is his (the accounts promote the same website and use the same photos or sometimes different photos but with the same furniture in them) where the items match on serial number and/or public address.

One example is here - though he may delete my post soon, so I will post my response to his listing here as well, in case he deletes it.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284278.0  --- it was originally posted here before he moved it to a new thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284090.0

my response (before he deletes it) its hard to see in that screenshot what the addy is on his forum post but you can see the eBay one clearly and the forum post is linked above. They have the same 1NastyFans address.

I know you excluded me from bidding - but as a concerned buyer, I am posting this for anyone to see so that may know the exact coin is listed in two placed and one of those places you have already stated that is not you - but another forum member, Alamjob239 was quoted months ago saying that was his eBay account. I hope you see the concern here when it appears that two different people are in possession of the same coin. One could be a fake. Or is that eBay account yours? delete this, I will simple keep reposting it. Better to just address the question.

another example is here - where he has numerously deleted the myriad of posts requesting information - he will sometimes lock the thread and recreate it over as well.

Items were listed originally here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5283994.0

and he deleted many requests for him to address why the item he was selling was also listed on eBay under the account he claims is not his.

The same two items were relisted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284043.0

There are more posts which follow the same scenario. Instead of addressing the situation/question he will deflect, insult, criticize then try to be your friend - call your products shit and trash and then try to buy them from you. He will go on how he "was so right about you" and now "the community sees you for who you are" ---- just mindless crap to avoid answering the question.

He also has a supported flag based on his actions - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2823295

Let me know if you want more examples. But can we please get him nuked again? and is there some way to permanently keep him off of here? I already know that answer is no - but can we make it easier to get him nuked every time he shows up at least? So, we don't have to endure months of this.

I first posted these as sets but now I am listing them as singles - I will keep this post updated with quantities and what numbers are available for each denomination.

For those who are not comfortable to create your own private keys and afix them to the chips - I can do that as well. I can do standard BTC wallet addresses or Vanity addresses up to 6 characters rather quickly (six can take up to a week) but can also do longer ones if you are prepared to wait.

The addresses are generated using SAMR7 vanitygen on an offline pc - the private keys are printed one time, affixed to the chip. I then supply the public addresses for each chip - note on this, within the next week or so, I will be testing whether I can use the new laser to etch/write the public address directly on the chip - if not in entirety at least the first dozen or so characters - to make the chip's easier to identify. I will update on that as soon as I find out if I can make it happen.

For those that are comfortable doing your own, you will be provided 2 holograms for each chip. If you screw one up, you have a back up. If you are successful on the first attempt then destroy the secondary hologram.

The chips are $10 each with free shipping in the US - if you are international, I will ship to minerjones for free and you can arrange with him for shipping direct to you.

151  Economy / Collectibles / Tangem Bit BTC wallets - sets of 5, 10, 25 on: October 17, 2020, 03:15:12 AM
last thread locked due to derailment :/ now a new one that is self-moderated thread

looks like Tangem has released another new wallet - these are rather cheap as well and come in the following bundles:

  • 5 for $35 ($7 each)
  • 10 for $60 ($6 each)
  • 25 for $125 ($5 each)

To compare the features of our different cards, click here https://shop.tangem.com/pages/card-comparison

I went ahead and ordered a five pack (I may do raffles to give the other 4 away)- I wish they sold them as singles but as cheap as they are I understand why they do not due to shipping expenses. I also ordered a XTZ card - maybe they will ship it with my ADA card.

hmm the pictures are not showing correctly - will edit shortly.
pictures fixed Smiley

How much do you think the "Condos" will end up costing?
The article says 25k to 50k but I am betting the price goes up. I would almost be tempted to buy one and use it for vacations Smiley

But I want to see it finished, I would not pre-buy into this.

154  Economy / Service Discussion / https://bitcoinvanitygen.com - not samr7 vanitygen on: October 06, 2020, 02:13:55 PM
I am not sure where to post this - I used vanitygen to generate 21 different addresses which I funded, one I used and the rest were created, printed as a QR code and put on pokerchips for my children and grandchildren - the private addresses were never loaded to any program or stored/saved anywhere.

the above statement is false - I thought the vanitygen program was used, we set it up, we tested it but in the end the other person involved opted for a shorter/faster route which also ended up being compromised.

these are my 21 addresses that were emptied this morning:

155  Economy / Collectibles / [Raffle]LTC Block Coin #009, Poly scrip note, Capn_Hash .01 BTC chip - Ended on: October 05, 2020, 07:25:07 PM
I have 3 miscellaneous lots. They are as follows:

1. The first is a "FRESH LTC Single Coin" I managed to get two of these and have decided to keep only one. The coin is loaded with .5 LTC, address: LUMp9S3pGtc2bgCmZVbZKdotvrZJJm6Fke
Threads concerning the coins are here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5269080.0   and  here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5266687.0

2. The second lot is a Polymerbits Scrip Savings Note Series B1 - I got this in a lot with about a dozen notes, I preferred to have one that was not redeemed (as this one is) so I have found/purchased an un-redeemed note and thus this is an extra - might not be any good for redeeming but if you don't have one, it could fill that void in your collection.

3. The third lot is a Capn_Hash .01 BTC poker chip with hologram #0076 - I bought one too many so I have an extra. Whoever wins this lot will also receive 2 undisclosed A&G minis.

I have 3 sets of crypto stamps. They are as follows:

2. The second set is an all black set with one each of Honey Badger, Doge, Llama and Panda. They are still sealed - but were scanned by looking thru the bottom. They were not added to any online collections.

3. The third set is a mix of colors but still one of each Honey Badger(yellow), Doge(yellow), Llama(blue) and Panda(black). These were opened to be scanned (before I realized you could scan them without opening them) They were not added to any online collection.

157  Economy / Collectibles / [SALE]Bitcoin Poker Chip Wallet Set of 5 on: October 05, 2020, 02:45:44 AM
Original thread had to be locked due to rainbowsky inability to stop. it is posted here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5270080.0 if you need any information from that thread.

As many know, I am relatively new to the collectibles area and as much as I love to buy the Bitcoin Physicals, many are too expensive to actually utilize them for what they are - many also demanding high premiums.  We all know that no one is handing out Casascius or Lealana coins - and I don't blame them. Maybe some are handing out Satori's but even those fetch a decent premium.

As I began to buy and participate in this great collectible section of the forums, I happened upon some poker chip wallets from capn_hash at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5245893 and from guigui371 at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5267152 - I really liked these and bought about 2 dozen from capn_hash, as gifts for my children and grandchildren, I saw an opportunity for Mopar Mining, LLC to also provide affordable wallets that forum members could fund and easily give away. These wallets are standard 39mm poker chips and fit in the provided air-tites without rattling around. Included in the set are 5 Bitcoin denominations labeled as .001BTC, .0025BTC, .005BTC, .075BTC and .01BTC.

Full set:

The holograms are tamper evident; I tested them for quality and have posted the results below;one of the test included a QR code under the hologram which was printed at 1/2" and it worked great. For a better seal, I would suggest printing it at 3/8" instead.

I also preformed an integrity test to see how they would hold up when wet; as you can see from the time stamps, this chip and hologram were submerged in water for about 12 minutes and worked as it should.

As I am not a registered money transmitter, the chips will not be funded. If you need help on how to generate a private key, I am happy to help walk you thru the process. The sets are numbered sequentially, i.e. the first set is 001, 002, 003, 004, 005 - second set 006, 007, 008, 009, 010, etc; there were a total of 500 chips made (100 possible sets).

A set of 5 chips are $40 shipped in the US or $45 for international. I am only selling full sets at this time. Each chip will be encased in an Air-tite and carefully packaged and will include 2 matching serialized holograms; if you only need one hologram for your chip, then I suggest shredding the second to avoid potential theft of your private key.

Also, for all sales made before October, I will donate 20% of the total sales to Breast Cancer Research Foundation (https://www.bcrf.org/),(hence the color pink); the funds will be sent to BCRF and proof will be provided on this thread. The pink chips are special for women, as they convey an urgency to eradicate a horrible cancer affecting many women (and men) today Smiley

After October, I will sell the chips individually for $8 shipped in the US or $9 internationally.

158  Economy / Collectibles / Multiple Bitcoin Penny holder on: October 01, 2020, 11:03:09 PM
I am working on a coin holder to hold a variety of the BCP coins -

after getting the master list from Mitchell - I have found there are a lot more than I thought lol I may have to reconsider this or it might be too large lol

I have the following list:

Holder 1 (Copper variants)

2015 Standard CJB --- 23 mm
2016 DAVE --- 23 mm
2017 IRIE --- 23 mm
2017 SN --- 23 mm
2018 DSC --- 23 mm
2018 JULIE --- 23 mm
2018 MANTIS --- 23 mm
2019 AMD  --- 23 mm
2019 SN --- 23 mm
2019 ZEPHYR --- 23 mm
2020 MGHB --- 23 mm
2020 SN --- 23 mm

Holder 2 (Silver & Gold (and invisible) variants)

2018 SILVER --- 25 mm
2018 PLATINUM --- 20 mm
2018 GOLD --- 20 mm
2018 INVISIBLE --- 25 mm
2019 SILVER Eagle --- 25 mm
2019 GOLD --- 20 mm

The ones in green I have, the ones in red I need - if someone has one of these they can stand to part with please post here or DM me.

can anyone provide the year for the gold one? and let me know if I am missing any? resolved and provided.

I will be updating the above with the coins I plan to use.

current exclusions: proof sets, errors, mini physicals, variations of the 2019 SILVER(antique, left facing - for now, unless I can get my hands on them)

more edits to come - This may require it to be multiple coin holders.

right now I have it set as 2 holders - we shall see how it ends up. If I can get them all to fit a certain size, it might be something that can also be framed.

initially I am thinking something similar to this but maybe with 12 slots? or maybe as 3 holders - same size holding 6 each so that they will display well together - then if someone has the 3 proof sets, they could get a 4th case to hold those.

I think something like this with a central block to list what the coins are - as you can see - plenty of room to put information. I have seen many other cases that are very similar if not exactly like this - the trick is getting them with slots that will fit the coins I want to use. and in the combination I need.

160  Other / Meta / red trust being posted to a supposed alt that is supposedly ban avoiding on: September 28, 2020, 03:47:53 PM
I want to ask - what is the repercussions for red flagging a supposed alt for "ban evasion" if the supposed primary account is not actually banned?

There is a fellow in collectibles that is being red trust flagged by several as being the alt of a "banned" account.

The supposed "banned" account is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2688560 and on bpip https://bpip.org/Profile?id=2688560

the supposed alt account that is currently being red trust flagged is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2823295 and on bpib https://bpip.org/Profile?id=2823295

Now, I also think the two individuals also the one and same account - evidence of such can be seen in this thread where the furniture is the same on both accounts (they posted images of "for sale" items laying on the same couch)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276321.0

I just do not see how he can be red trust flagged for "ban evasion" if the user's primary account is not actually banned.

So, am I missing something? Was the original account banned and then un-banned and maybe the guys red trust flagging the alt are not aware? Or is the original account actually banned and I simply cannot see it as such and this guy is actually guilty of ban evasion?
