I've been working long hours just to save up enough money for a farm, but even with 5000$ it's not enough to get enough equipment to meet my 100TH/s goal. Even if I do meet that goal it seems like my ROI wouldn't be for a year.
What other options are still profitable? should I build a quark algo miner rather than try to get a bunch of ASCIs?
What can I do to not be late into the market??

Since I'm using BAMT to mine and it's kinda of a stripped OS so I can't put my wallet on the miner, could I somehow start a server on my main laptop and point the miner to it? There has to be a way to do that right???
Could someone explain how?

Things have been better, I was at a rock show today and surprisingly even the lapidary community is into bitcoin. I picked up this .999 copper 1 oz fine copper bitcoin, at a ROCK SHOW. I was so shocked to see it I had to buy it. I got my miner and have been mining USDE, and converting half of it into BTC. Any of you guys find or hear about bitcoin in places you wouldn't expect?   |

Would a 1.9 MH scryptminer be profitable in two weeks (when I receive the miner from Singapore)
Or did I just royally screw myself out of 1700$.
I've been saving for almost a year to get a miner, finally got one.
I don't pay for my electricity so that's not a problem, but I just looked into how difficulty works, Do you really think it could jump past 3000 in two weeks?

I'm going to explain my life, and vent, and try to get support from this great community, I'm not begging but if you're willing to help me then I'm forever in your debt. Just trying to figure out where to go from here. So here goes nothing. So I have been just fascinated by bitcoin and all altcoins, I have bought and hodl, and tried to pin the market, doing so pretty well. It been a lifesaver because I am 17, I want to move out, but it's so much more then that. I've lived with a drug addict mother for years now and the relationship has just deteriorated so much, I don't have a dad. No family, kind of all on my own. I am worried everyday I'm going to be thrown out. On top of balancing school with a minimum wage job, I still don't have enough money to move out, until I found bitcoin. I loved being able to mine and help the community grow by pouring my fiat into something amazing, not only that but I was making enough to almost be able to move out on my own. Steady 700-1000$ with my job and bitcoin. Everything was great. Me and my mom have been fighting so much, just last week I was homeless for a while because I got kicked out, had to sleep over at my girlfriends and salvation army...Great right? Just more motivation to make a little more money so I can support myself, started to get greedy I guess. Well I saw on ebay people marking up dogecoin and bitcoin 200%-300% and was shocked. I thought it would be a great way to make some cash. Well it wasn't I got scammed just like alot of people and now I've lost about 500$+ that would have helped me get my first scrypt miner. That would help me make about 700$ a month, I would be able to move out and start supporting myself. Guess I shouldn't of went back to the evil corperations of paypal and ebay? Amirite? :/ I got scammed. My fault. (Proof)   I have just a few months before I turn 18 and my mom can legally kick me out, plus senior year, plus keeping my job. Can't really call CPS either, been there and done that and it just made things worse... I'm not making this up, I mean I know someone out there has it harder...but I've tried everything else, I don't know what else to do. I'm trying so hard, but nothing seems to work, maybe it's my depression? Maybe I'm just not doing it right. I know alot of people have become really wealthy off of bitcoin, and there are already so many posts about "I have cancer" and this and that. You can think this is all a bunch of nonsense, but some peoples lives are just really shitty. Sometimes I want to just end it all... If you are one of those people who have made thousands of dollars, would it be too much to ask that you could help me out, not only that but help out the community too, I would be helping altcoins and bitcoin with my miner, not only that but society as a whole. I've sold everything I hold near to me besides my computer and phone, since it's the only thing I can really see myself making money with. I've got about 1500$ right now, but for a profitable miner that will support me, I need about 2400$ :/. I can do web design, I can make videos, do 3D animation, voice work. I will try to work for a donation. I think I'm talented, I love technology, I love coding and web design, I want to be able to contribute, but I can't do that living on the streets. I just want to follow something in life, I think cryptocurrency can change the world and the economy, I want to be a part of it. So please, I'm asking the bitcoin community as a whole, right now more then I've ever needed someone, for their thoughts, anything to help. If you guys know, I've had a few dreams that have come pretty close in predicting bitcoin, which we all know is unpredictable. I had another dream that Bitcoin is going to skyrocket after this new year. Right around January it should get up to 1000+ following in those next days it will come to parity to gold which once surpassed it will be HUGE news. Major corporations will be on board and the news coverage is going to influx a huge amount of buyers, sending BTC to extreme. EXTREME. New ATH's So buy now while it's cheap it's already on it's way back up. You should of bought at 550  or better yet 60$. Happy Holidays! |

Freaking weird, I think maybe this one is because I've been stressing about being able to buy back in, but now I'm not so sure I want to, In the coming three days, we're going to truely drop back down to the norm. So don't buy in just yet, according to my dream at least. The last dream I had about bitcoin was spot on, it just has to reach the 400$ point around the tenth, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344295which is still supported by my last dream. Okay, so I'm seventeen and have been watching bitcoin since it was about 60$, I'm convinced as of now that this is the currency of the future,
In the long term the prices are always going to go up, pretty soon I will be eighteen and be able to take my savings and buy a miner, possibly with a loan.
The difficulty for bitcoin mining has risen so much It's not really profitable anymore is it? To someone like me? Let's say I have 500$ to invest in a miner, what should I get? Should I just build a PC and upgrade my GPU to something really nice?
If I want a sound return on my money then should I mine altcoins? I mean when bitcoin booms you know the altcoins go with it.
So should I invest in a scrypt style miner? I hear protoshares are a HUGE interest right now because of how new they are and how close they are to bitcoin.
What should I do?

This china thing isn't going to look that well in the coming days, everything has been happening like in my dream, check my post a week or two ago about dreaming this would happen. Without china we are going to fall back down to earth in the 200$ range. Get your fiat ready though, because it will blow over!
