1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin regret story, Need advise! on: January 10, 2021, 09:20:53 AM
I had love bitcoin ever since when it was being introduced to me by a colleague. I easily understand all the basic in cryptocurrency and that made me get excited even at first planning to invest with bitcoin. Yes, I did gets too much excited and invested in it on some of my earnings specifically from the real estate commission I made during the time when I was a part time real estate agent.

To cut the story short, I was seeing bitcoin as a way to learn more about financial freedom and financial literacy. Bitcoin for me was the perfect medium to achieve my goals on financial freedom. I have been dreaming like anyone else here that are not working but are earning through bitcoin investment.

However, all failed and I did not achieve or reach my goals. I end up into miserable decision making and are afraid because I stake my earnings that when the time bitcoin was crashing I end up selling it minding that bitcoin will going to end. It was like buying high selling low and that made me miserable right now. Why? It is clear that if I only hold bitcoin I can earn 7x of my money being invested. I can even build my dream house in the profit that I could get.

Now, it is a hard lesson to learn. I regret and hopefully there will be another day that bitcoin will be like this in the future.

For those who manage to earn huge. Congratulations guys! You did a great job.

BTW, could you make an advise to me on what to do right  now? I'm a little bit depressed.

Sana all merong bitcoin ngayon!
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can bitcoin get an insurance? on: November 13, 2020, 04:21:27 PM
Bitcoin as an asset or property is like also having a real property or a car that usually needing insurance to cover expenses whenever nad things occur for that property.

Bitcoin was created as decentralized digital currency, but also consider as an asset. Bitcoin is sometimes vulnerable like getting stolen from phishing sites, hacking and scamming other people is a  form of damage to bitcoin.

Is there any chance that bitcoin can have an insurance from its vulnerabilities in the future?

What do yoi think?

4  Other / Beginners & Help / The lost turtle that has crossed the line to full member in rank! on: October 19, 2020, 11:51:46 AM
I had been a fan of getting merit just recently and made some posts to earn some merits. I was having the kind of  feeling motivated by it that made my stay more fun here in the forum. I may or may not be helpful but at least I acted to participate actively in some good discussion as a member instead of adding pile shit posts for the forum. Thus, I decided to take a few step making some time to make posts that I think would be constructive. However, I could feel sometimes that I am off topic for it because I am still learning and continue to learn more about some things in cryptocurrency, the current events, and the forum.

Still I manage to earn some merits that help me rank up and I can say that if you really wanted to earn merits then you need to do things that could make you feel unique. In my case all of it were made of luck to create such posts and earn merits. Thankful to the merit source around not to mention them because I do not want to spoil them on how much they being like or love by most of the members in this forum like @CryptopreneurBrainboss a reputable bounty manager that handles the project that I am in. LOL, @DdmrDdmr that continue to help low rank users to rank up. I do not know this guy but he is really helpful for me to rank up.

Again, earning merit is not easy mind you that but if you really wanted to earn merits then you need to do things that could make you feel unique. In my case that all of  my posts were being made generic or just the basic information regarding cryptocurrency. For that, I am always thankful to the merit source around not to mention them because I do not want to spoil them on how much they being like or love in this forum like @CryptopreneurBrainboss a reputable bounty manager that handles the project that I am in. LOL, @DdmrDdmr that continue to help low rank users to rank up. I do not know this guy but he is really helpful for me to rank up. haha

The posts that I created was dedicated to myself and for the new members in the forum. So, for the newbie and low rank members like me an ordinary member with no intellectual specialty could still be able to rank up. If you want to know how I was able to earn merits recently then check some of my threads that has earn few merits.

I want to learn on how to distinguish merit looking and a helpful post

Because of the achievement I would like to congratulate myself for making it to happen. May it be a little late for me to rank up but at least I still made it to happen. I am very happy and proud of myself at least as a member of this forum that had been going through ups and down valued bitcointalk.org forum that much. I will thank the members that merited up the trying hard posts I made./b]

I was a lost turtle but able to crossed the line! Thank you for the opportunity to learn and earn!

Congratulations Self for ranking up to full member!

5  Other / Beginners & Help / I want to learn on how to distinguish merit looking and a helpful post on: October 10, 2020, 02:27:37 PM
Many of the low rank members in this forum are making threads and gaining merits just recently and others were able to rank up. However, a certain issue has arise to which other members claim that this section has been like a ground for merit looking posts. I could be guilty in this issue about the merit looking posts because I had few posts and I could not verify whether my posts is helpful or just like a merit looking posts. Now, I am confused what post exactly is helping or just a merit farm post.

I would like to brought this up because it greatly affect us the the low rank members in this forum for our post could be suspected as merit looking posts. This created confusions in me and probably to other low rank users on how, when, what will we going to posts. And because of this I made some perception in regards to other members that are being so rude of suspecting merit looking posts for probably they wanted to

+ Bully low rank users.
+ dominate in the forum
+ does not want low rank users to rank up

It could also possibly mean that they wanted to

+ create forum a better like reprimanding low rank users in a merit looking posts
+ guide low rank users to make better posts than look like a merit looking posts
+ regulate merit looking posts in beginners and help section and other sections as well.

Whatever it would be they think of the merit looking posts we cannot deny the fact that mostly of it were done by trying to contribute to the forum. So, where could the problem should be?

1. Is it because of members wanting to rank up and trying hard to contribute by making post that for them could be helpful and could get merits?

2. Is it because because low rank members does not feel how to get merits by just doing replies.

3. Is it because our point are not as good as high rank users.

4. Is it because merits are now focused on giving to the low rank users.

5. Is it because low rank members are just annoying in this forum and should not be here to join discussion with other members.

Let's discuss about this for us to change our ways on how to deal with our posts. I know in myself that I am not a quality poster but this is the only way or chance that I can do to try hard to contribute and be helpful in the forum as much as possible.

My conclusion

Rewarding of merit is being decentralized and has been tasked to the merit source. The merit source are trusted users by the admin and are good members of the forum that are capable of knowing when to reward the allocated merit provided to the members that contribute help to the forum. So, I think we could not question the merit source on their ways of rewarding merit for if we do then it is also more like questioning the admin of this forum whom trusted the merit source on how to reward the merits.

I suggest to all members especially the high rank members to criticize posts whenever they see a merit looking thread. I can be more greatful to be assess on what I did here in the forum through your criticism. I know I could do wrong but will be happy to learn from it. However, I know that most of the high rank members here are good guy and just wanted to make the forum a more ideal and better place.

Still I wanted to discuss to know your opinion so that I could learn on how to distinguish merit looking and helpful posts that will help me to become a better member of the forum.

Edit -

You could be overthinking this a little and yuu ou haven't really said any types of topics that have been used for merit hunting either? Could you not give a common example?

Example of merit grabbing post.

Some tips for posting habit and to grow in bitcointalk forum

Best regards,

6  Other / Beginners & Help / Some tips for posting habit and to grow in bitcointalk forum on: October 06, 2020, 04:12:33 PM
In my own perception to be able to enjoy the stay here in the forum and to actively participate in discussion then think of these few tips that could help you to be a better member of this forum. Based on my observation that there are still few members that are neglecting or are unaware of the forum rules and regulations resulting to get ban in the forum, plagiarize or copying others content or ideas, shit posting and worst of all getting involved into scamming, hacking and doing fraud or other related illegal activities.

We are in bitcointalk forum and we should know how to grow and get the best out from this forum which also include on how to enjoy the stay here. Remember that you are not here only for your self but also for others that could get help from you by sharing your knowledge and expertise. This is the idea that I get when Neil Patel says that “I am not doing anything specific. I've learned that when you want to genuinely help people out and they know you want to help them without expecting anything in return, they'll gladly reciprocate by helping others out.” I am posting this to spread awareness but it does not mean that

Quote
*I am a quality poster
*A user with good reputation
*I am helpful
*I could not plagiarize
*I could not shit posts
*I could not promote scam projects and do fraud activities
*I contributed meaningful posts
*I could not be a keyboard warrior (trolling)
But for those who are newbie to be able to make a good start in the forum then think about this some tips that could make you a better member of bitcointalk forum.

First, read the bitcointalk forum rules and regulations including the thread for the newbie before posting -  Newbies - Read first before posting
Read, familiarize and learn it by heart the rules and guidelines of bitcointalk forum Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ. It all include plagiarism, trolling, shitposting and even posting pornographic image is not allowed.

Second, use the search button before posting any threads or topics you want to discuss with. Remember that when starting a new thread make sure that you are in the right section to post the thread. For example for bitcoin discussion it should be on bitcoin section or related boards and sub boards.

Third, Try to create the the best title of the topic that suits to its content. As I have observe in the major board discussions few of the topic titles are generic and it is not interesting for the readers but its content are impressive. others are none at all neither having a good content and good title. The discussion will be dynamic if title of the topic can get the attention of the readers.

Fourth, Use proper grammar when using English language. I my self had tried my very best to correct my grammar as much as I wanted to convey the idea or the message of that post that I will going to share. Unfortunately I am not good in English but still trying on how to do it better. This is not an easy task for the non native english member but I could tell you that by trying hard you can make an improvement not only learning from mistakes but also learning from other member in here as well from their inputs or insights.

Fifth, Learn to post all details necessary for the readers not to get confused. The readers are not a fortune teller that could verify the unknown details that are not disclose in the post. Make sure to include necessary details so that other users can get discussions about the topic.

Sixth, Read all the post above before making the reply. As much as possible try to avoid replies that are already mention. You can agree to it and add details if you think it is necessary but not to repeat the same reply or ideas that has been posted above already.

Seventh - If you have queries and start a thread, try to be patient if you will not get replies right away. But pretty sure legendary rank and those reputable members will going to help and willing to share their experiences and knowledge about cryptocurrency.

Eight, Stay on topic if you will going to reply. It has also been observe that there are posts getting away from the topic. It could get confused others why at the other portion of replies are not already in line with the topic being discuss. Another thing is to avoid unecessary things to include in the reply or posts. This is the main reason why repliea will become irrelevant to the topic.

Nineth, Do not copy and paste posts of others. It is a big no no and lots of members here getting ban due to plagiarism. It is also a sign of a member being lazy by increasing activity just by doing copy and paste posts.  You should not be like this type of member for sure you will have no future.

Tenth, Do not spam like sending generic reply just to increase forum activity. It will not guarantee to a newbie to get merits in order to rank up. Remember that ranking up is possible just by doing what a member should be.

Lastly, all members should be enjoying the stay in the forum by doing good and help other members. Remember that we have chances here to do things that could help us grow and it is up to the member if he wants to grow. In the end we only regret the chances we didn't take - anonymous
7  Other / Beginners & Help / For your ready reference on cryptocurrency exchange! on: September 26, 2020, 10:58:19 AM
I had been able to utilize the forum for compiling topics that I could be used as  a reference in the future and also wanted to share of it to other users especially the newbie wanted to get involve or invest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. This is another for your ready reference series and this time is all about cryptocurrency exchanges.

Cryptocurrency exchange plays a vital role to the massive growth of cryptocurrencies around the world to where people can trade cryptocurrencies for other digital currency or traditional currency like US dollars. These exchanges connect buyers and sellers and take a fee from each transaction.

These are a few roles of cryptocurrency exchanges:
1. Receiving cryptocurrency and issuing IOUs
2. Receiving fiat
3. Processing an order book
4. Redeeming IOUs (essentially a token, issued on the blockchain, representing the same value as the underlying asset.)

As a newbie trying to get details on exchanges in my search I learn that there are a few concerning issues regarding current exchanges platform:

1. Fees
Most exchanges charge fees for all kinds of transactions. Fees can differ substantially depending on the exchange you use.

2. Payment Methods
Some exchange has limited payment options which make it not convenient to be used for trading. Purchasing cryptocurrencies with a credit card will always require identity verification and come with a premium price as there is a higher risk of fraud and higher transaction and processing fees. Purchasing cryptocurrency via wire transfer will take significantly longer as it takes time for banks to process.

3. Verification Requirements
This is one of a long and inconvenient process. The vast majority of the cryptocurrency trading platforms both in the US and the UK require some sort of ID verification in order to make deposits & withdrawals.

4. Geographical Restrictions
Some exchanges can only be accessible from certain countries.

But this is not really becoming a problem over time because exchanges now are slowly adapting and making their system user friendly not only in their areas but also expanding to all over the world. Other exchanges are gaining popularity and step up over. And because there are many wanted to invest in cryptocurrency I made my own list of good cryptocurrency exchange. 8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: September 13, 2020, 02:14:54 AM
Even with pandemic gamblers are itching to bet violating the social gathering and other protocols like proper wearing of facemask to observe minimum health protection. This is why police officers here in our place are actively monitoring not only for cock fighting, cards game and this one spider betting.

Spider betting is the new trend of gambling here in our place. This is inspired by the kids who were active on this as sort of playing letting spiders to fight. This is really not a fun to see for others but here in our place when big events and higher bets happen, the viewers will tend to shout and cheers for the spider they bet. The venue will seem to be lively that this event could eventually reach to the authorities.

The only problem with this kind of gambling is that kids do involve in betting at young age. Since betting is very affordable to them that they can afford after looking for some spiders and sold it to a gambler in a cheaper price then the proceeds of the sale will then be use to gamble by these kids age 9-16 Y.O. The good thing is that whenever they caught to prison since the kids are protected by law under the age of 17 and below the will be set free after their parents made some arrangement to the police officers.

Because of these event, the authority now conduct a constant monitoring and raids here in our place. The good thing is that betting still continue and police officers can't do anything about it except constant monitoring and doing raids. After a certain raids spider betting will then resume and happiness together in sider fight and betting will remain. So sad, LOL.

What can you say about this?
Are we really that hard headed or just love spider betting?

10  Other / Beginners & Help / For your ready reference on phishing! on: September 11, 2020, 07:31:18 AM
This is all about phishing activity ready reference for anyone who like to learn about how phishing activities were being done. This is not only all about cryptocurrency but other financial institutions as well like bank accounts, credit cards and etc. I have made a quick search on why phishing activity were became successful and how much losses it made from the organizations and individuals that were became a victim of phishing.

Why these kinds of activity exist?

In my own opinion phishing is one of the profitable business in the internet. It will only cost you little $ and big profits waits depending on the methods and technique in phishing being done. This is why there is a sudden increase of phishing activities that rampant here in this section of the forum.

How did it exist?

The shared information of these phishing activities here in this section made me wonder what trigger these activities and how it did came successful to scam other people. As I continue the quick search on why it was so easy for them to conduct or make phishing activities. And here were the following reasons for the increase in phishing activity I read.

Reasons for the increase in Phishing Activities

Universal man-in-the-middle phishing kit
- A tool that could create a sophisticated phishing site which is sold in underground market for about 1000$. According to RSA security that the kit could allow access to almost any web sites to be configured for phishing. It added that using the kit the researchers were able to create a fraudulent URL via a simple and user friendly user interface to which hacker novice can create a sophisticated phishing attack.

Lax password requirements - Not all the websites or online apps requires strict password like they allow passwords that are simple and easy to guess like username john123 and pass john123.

image loading...

Fake giveaways - It could be easier to detect the common fake giveaways. Usually the common victims of these are from those social media like facebook, instagram, youtube and tweeter.  However, it could be easy to spot like having a newly created account, using famous logo or brand name, stealing images, the account had no recent activity or does not have that much numbers of followers and the giveaway asks you to complete too many tasks.

image loading...

Key-logging software - sometimes referred to as keylogging or keyboard capturing, from the name itself simply shows capturing keyboard strokes from the user’s keyboard and store it in a small file which will then later on send to the hackers email or save it for viewing later. This is done by which person using the keyboard is completely unaware that their actions are being monitored.

image loading...

High return Investment Scheme - “ The return on investment in phishing is phenomenal” this according to Lohman(2006). High yield investment programs (HYIPs) are usually an investment that promise unreasonably high returns. This is done by invites where new investor paid old investors and consider it as profits. HYIP operators uses social media including facebook, twitter, youtube and instagram to appeal on their victims and create the illusion of social consensus surrounding the legitimacy of these programs.

Therefore we can expect that with the volume of targeted victims it can earn huge of this fraudulent activity which is phishing that made me wonder I too should start my own Phishing business. LOL

These phishing activities had been effective due to applied methods. These methods were became known after some reports noted in the news on how the victims were able to get phished out of their accounts (banks and financial institutions specifically). This methods were being mention by ITU(2005) and Chawki(2006).

Methods of Phishing

Dragnet Method - This method involves the use of spammed emails, bearing falsified corporate identification (e.g Trademarks, logos, and corporate names), that are addressed to a large class of people (e.g., customers of a particular financial institution or members of a particular auction site) to websites or pop-up windows where they are requested to enter bank or credit card account data or other personal data.

Rod-and-Reel method
– This method targets prospective victims and conveys false information to them that could lead them to disclose their personal and financial data. For example, online items that are available and are cheaper to which the victims were looking for and upon visiting the webpage then the victims were then ask to disclose personal information including financial aspect to proceed with the transaction.

Lobsterpot Method - This method focuses upon the use of fake sites(imitating sites). This is usually done by a phisher placing deceptiveURL address/links to a scam website. Once the victim is into this fake site then the victim might send personal details or financial access of the victims account.

Gillnet Phishing - In gillnet Phishing, phishers introduce malicious code into emails and websites. They can, for example misuse browser functionality by injecting hostile content into another site’s pop – up window. Merely by opening a particular email, or browsing a particular website, Internet users may have a Trojan horse introduced into their systems.

How Phishing is accomplished?

Here is an example of 2004-2007 statistics on phishing activities.

Top Phishing sites hosting countries

Top brands affected by phising during 2003, 2004, 2006 & 2007

I thought the OP was going to expand later on to see include some more up-to-date statistics on phishing. The statistics presented are pretty old, and although the pretend some preliminary context, the numbers must be pretty far from nowadays reality. It would be interesting if you search around for something more 2020’s, such as:
Quote
By the way, just a reminder included in the above reference:
Quote
In Q1 2020, a new high of 74 percent of sites used for phishing were protected with SSL. "The majority of phishing web sites continue to use SSL/TLS,"said John LaCour, Founder and CTO, PhishLabs."We hope that users have learned that SSL doesn’t mean a site is legitimate".

The phishing activities clearly resembles huge losses to the organizations or individulas. This is why in cryptocurrency where these activities are present we should tend to be more careful. This is why I made this posts for you ready reference about phishing acticity. The information above are from the following references listed below. All of it were done in a quick search using google and the internet.

11  Other / Meta / EXPRESS THOUGHTS ABOUT B&H AND RANK AND MERIT SYSTEM on: September 10, 2020, 03:03:13 AM
The beginners & help section had blasted with new threads lately on scam related threads. I have seen that many wanted to help as it is their intention is to keep everybody aware from the current events and news of scam topics. It was indeed helpful to us newbie or not newbie users as for the awareness of the information posted by these users.

This is good sign that the B&H section had started to become active to users especially the low ranks. We cannot expect higher ranks to help us always from their sharing of knowledge in regards to cryptocurrency. Low rank users are now also striving hard to learn and be educated sharing the same goals and intention and that is to help instead of shitposting to attain certain posts required from bounty while earning few merits to rank up. This is the design that the management wanted to happen for the forum in line of what a forum should be.

The transition of shitposting, copy and paste posts and bounty reports had minimized already. Seeing that joining bounty campaign does not really pay at all times then other bounty hunters strive to make a post to get merit to rank up. My guess is that this is not a problem in fact the shitposting activities had somehow stabilized to a minimum level and hopefully it will be completely eradicated. I am not sure that rank and merit system implemented is a hindrance to rank up but to what I observe is that it is indeed effective in the change of the way users behave. I was happy seeing this happen and I am also helping in little ways or things that I can do for the other users by actively participating in the discussions and learning the replies of other users. I am barely like to start a thread but this time I made this up for the gratitude that other users had been always helping each other.

In this post, I just wanted to express my thoughts regarding on rank and merit system and how effective it was and how it change a lot for the forum. I myself too wanted to rank up and this is why I had changed a little bit to earn merits but I am not begging in this posts just wanted to give feedback to management about the current system. The forum certainly headed towards an ideal forum plus with the new forum to be released soon that I am positive the management could attain great achievement to it. So Congratulations to the management. Job well done!
12  Other / Beginners & Help / For your ready reference on data file recovery on: September 06, 2020, 12:15:29 PM
I am not certain that this could be helpful but I would like to share what had happen to the deleted document that I save in my laptop on the details of my digital wallet for bitcoin like the seed phrase, private and public keys, and to altcoin digital wallet as well specifically the MyEtherWallet.

My Laptop was so slow and decided to reformat the system and I was not careful to back up the data save in it includes the digital wallet details. I thought I am going to lose some of my funds to which some of it store in the online wallets and exchange wallet ready to trade.
However, I remember a certain application that I bought before that could recover deleted files. I know where the files located because I have always access those files every trade I made so what I am doing is to recover the said files in the partition drive of my laptop.

How did I recover it?

I was using the wondershare data file recovery. I never thought that it was still working because this application was an old version. The new version of this application could be downloaded in this link https://recoverit.wondershare.com/data-recovery.html  as I made a quick search in Google.
I look into my external drive and look for the application to start it installing and run the setup. I have made some screenshot and this is what happen after installing the program.

Three methods of Data Recovery

Quote
Smart Recovery - This way will automatically find your deleted and lost files. This type of recovery will take a long time, but it should be tried first in most cases.

Common Recovery - You can choose the recovery mode according to the different case you lost files.

Advanced Recovery - If above ways cannot find your lost files, you can try this way.

1. I chose the common Recovery Method because I know where to locate the files since it was reformatted. See screenshot below.

2. Selecting the path that the files located and to be recovered then proceed to scan.

3. Scan the selected path to recover the file. One may optionall stop scanning if folders are found and the check the box and proceed to recover.

4. Recover selected folder and choose the location where files to be saved.

5. Locate the folder of recovered files.

6. File obtain and recover. My funds now are being back up and kept safe in USB and external drive.

Note: Windows defender should be turn off during the installation because this is considered as malware where it will going to breach the microsoft windows system that will be detected and get deleted. You can turn it on after the installation of the said application. However, the new version of wondershare data recovery file is more user friendly and you can check their link https://recoverit.wondershare.com/data-recovery.html
Update:
Before recovering just make sure to use the other local drive or hard disk to store the restored files. If the files that you recover is in local disk C then better save it on local disk d.
An important note. The data can be recover provided its not overwritten. I once spend hours writing a script then accidently overwritten it with a new script, no data recovery software could ever recover it. Ouch. Cry

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / imported public key bitcoin wallet with private key! on: September 04, 2020, 02:39:20 PM
I am looking information regarding bitcoin wallet. Ever sine I join this forum I only learn about altcoins and their wallets which are usually online wallets or some known platform for altcoin wallets.

Based on the information I have read in the forum that blockchain wallet is a non-custodial, the who owns the private key owns the blockchain wallet and no one had access on it except the owner of the private keys or the seed phrase of the wallet. Bitcoin wallet can generate public keys from xpub which should not be disclose to anyone. The generated public keys had also corresponding private key (xpriv) and this could be use when one like to import bitcoin public key to other platform or bitcoin wallet.

Now, what will happen to the imported bitcoin public address with its corresponding private key to other bitcoin wallet if the imported public wallet has a balance? Could I spend the balance when it was only being imported to the new bitcoin wallet?
14  Economy / Speculation / Is it alright to invest with bitcoin at the current market price? on: September 02, 2020, 07:26:38 AM
Cryptocurrency is a high risk form of investment. In fact some had made high losses based on the stories of some users here who were selling their house and taking huge loans and lost it all investing in cryptocurrency. I do not really know if they were true about on things they told but pretty sure there were losses made here with other users investing in cryptocurrency especially in ICO projects. On the contrary there are some users posts inspire others to invest due to the high return that they had made in cryptocurrency investments.

Bitcoin is the leading crypto that had made the success of others in their investment. This is why I wanted to join in this kind of investment. I have tried invested small amount and made a lesser returns as profits but that was already enough to make a conclusion on how to earn with bitcoin. Bitcoin investment could be the reason for losses or gains. It will depend on how you do the investments.

As a newbie in bitcoin investment for I was actually a bounty hunter taking opportunity to earn from the rewards that consider as payment. The problem is that bounty hunting is not that really earning and it is just a waste if time and money except doing signature campaign that pays btc. While doing signature bounty campaign, it triggers me the interest or plan to invest in bitcoin. I have somehow evolve my perspective to bounty hunting to bounty hunting at the same time doing bitcoin investment.

The signature bounty I joined will help me to always keep in touch with the forum for bitcoin news and current events. Others are saying that bitcoin is going for a bull run and that will let me of course earn but the current market price now which is 12K$ is a bit higher. This is why I am itching to buy in bitcoin however I am also thinking of probable losses due to current market price which is high for the moment.

This is the reason why I made this post to see your replies that could help me decide. Again I had stated above that I know bitcoin has high risk and willing to take it. The questions is that "Is it still best time to invest now with the current market price? Or will wait for bitcoin market to crash? What do you think?
15  Other / Off-topic / Ways of expressing agreement and disagreement. on: August 29, 2020, 02:13:42 PM
In every discussion I make I always end up replying late and the idea I have in my mind were also already express in a reply of someone else. So, I have make a quick search on ways to express agreement and disagreement on someone else post and will add ideas if it is applicable.

Here are some ways in expressing agreement,

That’s right/You’re right/I know:
 - used when agreeing with someone:
‘It’s supposed to be a very good school.’ ‘That’s right. They get great results.’
‘He’s really boring, isn’t he?’ ‘Oh, I know, he never stops talking about himself.’

Exactly/Absolutely/I couldn’t agree more:
used for saying that you completely agree with someone:
‘When we were young, people didn’t get into debt.’ ‘Exactly. You just bought what you could afford.’
‘I think Jacob is the best person for the job.’ ‘Absolutely. I’ll be amazed if he doesn’t get it.’
‘We had to wait three months to get a phone line – it’s ridiculous.’ ‘I couldn’t agree more.‘

You can say that again/You’re telling me:
a more informal way of saying that you completely agree with someone:
‘It’s so cold outside!’ ‘You can say that again!‘
‘The buses are so unreliable!’ ‘You’re telling me! I’ve been waiting here for half an hour.’

Why not? used when agreeing with a suggestion someone has made:
‘Let’s go to the cinema tonight.’ ‘Why not? We haven’t been for ages.’

I suppose (so)/I guess (so):
used when you agree that someone is right, but you are not happy with the situation:
‘We’ll have to get some new tyres.’ ‘I suppose so/I guess so. But it will be expensive.’

Ways of expressing disagreement:

I’m sorry, but…/Excuse me, but…/Pardon me, but…:

used when politely telling someone that you do not agree with them:
Sorry/Excuse me/Pardon me, but it was never proved that he stole that car.

Absolutely not/Of course not…/Nothing of the kind!
used for saying that you completely disagree with what someone has said:
‘I think I should accept the blame for the accident.’ ‘Absolutely not!/Of course not!/Nothing of the kind! There’s no way it was your fault.’

I don’t know/I take your point/That’s true, but…:

used as polite ways of saying that you do not really agree with someone:
‘Peter is really unfriendly sometimes. ‘I don’t know, he’s always been very kind to me.’
‘These taxes on petrol are far too high.’ ‘Well yes, I take your point. But maybe that’ll encourage people to use their cars less.’
‘She’s a difficult person to work with.’ ‘That’s true, but she’s a really good designer.’

Speak for yourself…:
an informal and sometimes impolite way of telling someone that your opinion is very different to theirs:
‘We don’t mind walking from here.’ ‘Speak for yourself! My feet are killing me!’

Don’t make me laugh/Are you kidding?/You must be joking…:
informal ways of telling someone you completely disagree with them, and you think that what they have said is crazy:
‘I really think the Beatles are overrated.’ ‘Are you kidding?/Don’t make me laugh! They’re better than any of the modern bands.’

Because I am not a native English speaker I have tried to look for more easy ways to apply this words when I will come up to an expressing agreement or disagreement. At least I have tried to learn and this also made me interested because English is an international language. Who knows I could travel Amerika one day. LOL!

16  Other / Meta / All blame to bounty hunters. on: August 24, 2020, 09:31:28 AM
One of the problems encounter before was the shitposting activities. There are many users complaining about this and high rank users had combat about it by encouraging all to report posts to which content has plagiarized.

Now that the rank and merit was introduce shitposting has been reduced and other users left the forum due to difficulties to rank up and getting merit to which bounty hunters will not get qualified to join. The merit system reduces the shitposting activity to its ideal numbers of shit posts per day. We cannot blame other users for doing shitposts because English is not their language to which others are doing the google translation as part of their initiative to make a post in this forum.

I think there is nothing to worry about now with the shitposting activity. In my opinion this users keep the forum active, dynamic and lots of interaction. If we keep them away then the forum will become exclusive to exisiting users that has business with the forum and likely to be peaceful. But I will not going to like it without those users shitposting for they were the reason I enjoy the stay of the forum reading nonsense post and learning from it. For now I consider shitposting as tolerable.

Bounty hunters had played a great role in this forum to continue getting influence of others from friends and relatives to join and get the opportunity to earn as well. not only the that because bounty hunters is the key to cryptocurrency adaptation in the future for influencing others like a ripple effect pass on from them to others. I consider bounty hunters as one of the vital part of the crytpocurrency system as it will be the key to educate people and to adapt the system to their everyday lives. We should be thankful by then and should not blame bounty hunters. However, copy and pasting should still be ban. There should be no room for that here in the forum.

I posted this to get some insights and try to answer the question does really bounty hunters play a big role in the forum?

Respect my opinion please.

17  Economy / Economics / COVID19 VACCINE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH? on: August 15, 2020, 11:34:03 AM
It is known worldwide that russia had been into the last phase of the trials of Covid19 Vaccine. It already coordinated with other countries to participate in the last phase of trial and that is the mass vaccination of the said Vaccine for covid19. Some countries like Philippines is wiling to cooperate and even buy the Vaccine.

As I have read some articles about creating a Vaccine would take the usual time frame needed before it will be created and declare as safe could take up to several years like 5-25 years. In this case the Vaccine was being made rush and it could harm people especially in the plan for mass vaccnation. I can't imagine the devastating effect of the vaccine if found out later the bad side effects on human body. Like the Dengvaxia issue wherein most people get injected without dengue history will complicate dengue illness. The dengue will become severe when one injected with dengcaxia for those who had not been into dengue sickness before. The sad thing is that the vaccine effect will take up to 5 years. So, five years of being stress not to get dengue and a life threating vaccine being injected to the body is something awful.

Now, Covid19 vaccine could also be the same as with dengvaxia. I am not questioning the scientist or the russia tech and people doing their research on creating the vaccine. yes they are good but this is not about how they do the reasearch but the effect itself that is not still known and again vaccine making will take years before it can be declared as safe vaccine for the people.

Now, if the trial of this vaccine will come to your place and ask you to get injected by the vaccine for free would you do it? or not?

If it could be proven effective what do you think about the economy of all country which will going to lead now in the economic growth?

18  Other / Meta / Battling against scammers?? on: August 14, 2020, 01:08:20 PM
Good day!

Recently I visited this section just reading some threads and replies. Still the same users here doing their job extending help to all even it means a hardwork in preparing post all for free. No pays and gains being ask but purely a hardwork that was been aiming to promote the forum. The intention is really good and it encourages actually to other users might be following or doing it the same.

Past posts also in other section the B&H had been sharing info on scammers and hackers activity. Hacking is one difficult problem to solve because they too are careful being caught. Not only that hackers work is very innovative like those copying an interface of a certain program installed in your device needed for an upgrade but it is only to download and install malware programs.

So we as users should be aware and keep always eyes open against them. Is anyone here trying to organize a taskforce to battle against scammers? I do believe it can help theymos a lot by just sharing info regarding on scammer and hackers activity in a thread. I hope so someone will make a thread for it.

All comments bad or good are accepted. Thank You!
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Does jr. member rank profitable in signature campaign nowadays? on: June 23, 2019, 03:01:22 PM
I know that this should not be the good question to ask especially that there are newbies and jr. members in rank for one should advise to learn first in cryptocurrency and in the forum.

But, I came from a jr. member in rank and earn sometimes that may consider just fine but most of the time it ain't profitable.

Now, that rank has been modified especially to jr. members like requiring a user to get 1 merit to rank up from newbie to jr.member with 30+ activities and I had been seeing also that in the bounties altcoin section that most of the consider good signature campaign requires at least member in rank. So, jr.members will be deprive from to join in this campaign and other projects also nowadays had increase their participant's qualifications by rank to at least member in rank. This is why I would like to.know if Jr. Members in rank still can earn huge reward in signature campaign?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How will you teach bitcoin if someone does want to know coming from you? on: April 13, 2019, 04:34:18 PM
I was ask if I could teach what bitcoin or cryptocurrency is all.about. Since, I am.not.knowledgeable in technical.part then I may have some.difficulty on explaining it. All I know is that bitcoin has volatility in terms of.its market price and this is the only thing I can share with the guy.

I just want get ideas from you guys on where to start teaching the guy. Should I start on joining exchange?, creating Wallet?, how to transfer btc?,

Bitcoin is indeed a complicated technology. Is there any chance that this all could be done easily or simplied? Could you suggest that to me. Post your replies and thank.you in advance.
