So, we had the halving. Many people were predicting BTC to the Moon, $100K and such, none of those happened. Are you disappointed?
I'm not disappointed* since I'm a long time HODLer but I was curious to see if you were expecting something else. The market seems undecided now.

It seems Bitstamp now accepts Paypal. How safe is it buying BTC with paypal balance at Bitstamp? Do you risk having your paypal account suspended?

Look at $100k. Now imagine owning $100k 20 or 30 years ago. Wow, that was a lot of cash! You could have bought a home, maybe a nice car and still have some money left in the bank. Today... do the math and see what you can buy Inflation is killing FIAT every single day. So stop comparing BTC to FIAT and see the true value of Bitcoin. Don't go "wow" when BTC hits $100k. Because $100k today doesn't value that much anymore. It's still low. Given the poor FIAT value 1 BTC is terrible cheap these days. $30k in 2009 is not $30k in 2023. You need like $42k for the same purchasing power. What I mean is... don't sell cheap when you do it because you might never see your BTCs again. Sell only for your real needs. Get the house or the car of your dreams. Have some money in your bank account. Live your life. But don't keep them all in the bank, those money will disappear day by day. The governments will keep printing...

All this wait, same price for months, sounds like the calm before the storm. Maybe it's time for BTC to take off and reach the $100K. Just saying. This price is a joke for BTC's potential. Of course all we can do is hope. But it makes me wonder why it's not happening yet. Right now BTC is cheap as peanuts. Luckily 1 BTC = 1 BTC.

This is the real issue BTC is facing. Chickens get afraid and sell even if they lose their money. They don't even understand how crypto works. I've never sold a satoshi since 2013. I know BTC will rise back and one day will hit the 100k and beyond. In a way I'm glad this is happening, more strong hands and less chickens. HODL! Hoping to buy more if it gets down to 10k. Haven't even heard about FTX until now lol. This shows how panicked I am 1 BTC = 1 BTC. That's all you need to know. Less drama, live longer.

|
Some people never learn. This is not the end of the world. BTC has the capacity to grow like 50% in 1 week so people should learn that every drama is temporarily in the crypto world. Poor naysayers. Poor Peter Schiff. Such unhappy people. All the gold still doesn't make them happy. Cheers to you all happy Bitcoiners

The ones who will miss this train also might never see another. Do you really think BTC will be so cheap for the next years to come? Once it goes in the $1xx,xxx zone you better get used to it.
BTC is being too nice because most people don't deserve another chance after they had thousands of chances to buy it cheap and did nothing.

This is something people (mostly newbies probably) seem to forget. Nothing is permanent and BTC will recover. It's not the first crypto winter and certainly not the last. Life is made of ups and downs. People think they lose money so they sell for crappy fiat. They actually lose when they sell and buy the crappy fiat. Look at inflation, it kills your fiat money every day. 1 BTC is still 1 BTC no matter the price. It's the best warranty for your future. There is no pension that will ever give you that. Think long term. Do you want a financial secured life? HODLing is the best thing to do
|

We've been here before, you are just making the whales richer, selling your precious BTC for pennies (crappy fiat). The storm will pass, hodl, or try to accumulate even more BTC, it's a great time to buy for cheap. We will make it this time too. Even if BTC goes down to $15,000 nothing is forever. Remember $20,000 down to $3,000? Been through that storm too. Remember, 1 BTC = 1 BTC. To the Moon!

244,000 metric tons of gold has been discovered to date, 55,000 tons of gold are left.
But there is still a lot of gold left in the universe. There is gold on asteroids for example. One day these will be minable. So the gold supply is not as limited as some may think.
However, gold is hard to move around, weighs a lot, it's hard to sell or buy, it's not practicable.
With BTC it's another story. We all know there are only 21,000,000 coins and 3-4 millions are already lost forever.
There is no Bitcoin in the whole Universe, except on Planet Earth.
BTC is scarcer than gold. I think one day 1 BTC will enter the $xxx, xxx zone then the $x,xxx, xxx HODL BTC

It's funny and sad to see all people panicking. They are selling and losing. They're buying inflationary fiat Do they even know it? Remember guys, 1 BTC will always equal 1 BTC and the supply is very limited. If you can see this in the long run you will be a winner. Of course, chickens will run home as always Don't worry, HODL, BTC will come back stronger than before. To The Moon! BTC- Let the haters feel good, this is all they can do anyway.

I've never sold a satoshi since 2013, actually never sold any BTC. I've seen all the ups and downs, seen them all. I'm very relaxed now because I just HODL and enjoy the ride. Let the weak hands lose, the strong hands will remain. Go on and sell your BTC to the big boys. One day BTC will go in the $xxx, xxx zone and many of you will regret selling. Dips are temporary and BTC will still exist in 2140, remember that, it cannot just disappear. Go on, make the rich guys richer. They will be happy to buy it from you, but remember, once you give it away it's gone.
Actually I cannot believe a new opportunity to buy BTC for cheap has been given to everyone. It could be among the last who knows!

Everyone hates war, I hate it too. But these days everyone is talking about it If such war would happen which would be the impact on BTC price?
|
|
|
The USD is losing value. The EUR is losing value. All national coins are inflationary, energy prices are through the roof and still BTC is only $36,500! People should buy BTC like crazy, this is something I don't understand, they keep using the crappy FIAT instead. FIAT will all make you poor! Don't come crying here after when BTC hits $100K, but FIAT is the worst investment someone can make these days. BTC is still cheap as peanuts considering its potential, too bad people don't see it, have fun staying poor and keep making those bankers rich. Unbelievable.

I don't find any real usability for this Metaverse: actually I think it will only make people and society dumber and closer to the Idiocracy movie. Spending time online wearing some stupid glasses it's a no no for me. Also the NFTs are a waste of time and money, I wouldn't buy useless digital shoes and buildings. I love BTC and have diamond hands but these 2 things I'm not a fan of and I know I will never be. Society needs to become wiser not dumber. Living in a digital realm sucks, I'm a human being not a stupid machine. Rant over.

Hi everyone, it's been awhile, just wanted to tell you that I still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too!
Some of you may say it's a dumb decision or risky, but I'm all for BTC and positive about it. To the Moon!

So it's growing back to 40k, however don't be fooled to sell, because BTC is still very cheap. The potential is there, it's huge, BTC will still exist in 5 years, BTC will still exist in 10 years. Just imagine...
What I want to remind everyone is that BTC is still extremely cheap, so make sure your diamond hands are now stronger than never, the whales are still lurking in the deep waters.

This is the only thing I don't understand right now. It is extremely cheap. The potential is huge, El Salvador goes all in BTC and people still don't have the eyes to see it. More countries will soon join in, people will regret it later for not buying but it's their choice. It's still so cheap and this is not normal!
|
|
|
...couldn't guarantee you the success. Let's say you had 100 BTC in the early days and later you sold them. You will still be better today owning only 1 BTC. Examples can continue.
Same thing happens now. It's not too late to enter today. Why? Because the same scenario is still in place. If you own 1 BTC and you sell today, someone holding only 0.1 BTC will be much richer than you in the coming years.
It's not the amount that counts... what matters is to own BTC and HODL.
|
|
|
Now it's raining but good times are ahead. If you look at the whole picture BTC is doing great and I'm sure we will see BTC at $100k and beyond. But for now you need diamond hands, HODL! The weak hands will be lost along the road. Being rich is not for everybody Remember, 1 BTC is still 1 BTC!
