1  Economy / Reputation / Negative feedback based on someone's personal dislike on: January 19, 2017, 10:45:53 PM
Recently I was left a negative feedback by devthedev based on his personal dislike toward me: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1696031.msg17388605#msg17388605

This forum has always attracted me with free speech - it is one of the places where it's possible freely discuss different things/issues which other "free speech" forums do not tolerate. Well, maybe I'm a bigot and racist but it's not a reason to leave negative feedback for it because it's supposed to be used to show one's trust, not political/religious views or personal dislikes.

What if I leave someone a negative feedback for being a feminist just because I don't like feminists? I conciser this movement harmful.  Would it be fair?

What do you thank about such "feedback"? Any comment from mods/admins?

2  Other / Politics & Society / Blacks are the least intelligent race on the Earth on: November 28, 2016, 11:05:38 AM

Heya everyone. Today I want to discuss with you an unpleasant subject. The subject is racial differences in intelligence. Let's be honest - black people are the dumbest race on this planet. Some time ago (I swear to God it was good times!) they were classified as animals. How can YOU think we are equal?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to spot an ICO SCAM on: November 12, 2016, 08:24:27 AM
Hi guys, I want to share with you my simple methodology (beta) of spotting ICO scams.

The methodology

There are criteria with various risk points. Summarize all the points of the criteria that the ICO meets to get total score. Total score represents a risk grade on which you can lean to take a risk or not.

Scam points and criteria:
1 point: minor suspicions (for each)
3 points: anon devs; no code snippets, videos, or beta; rushing
5 points: unrealistic goals; fuzzy whitepaper; self-mod topic
10 points: bought account; no escrow

Risk and total score:
low (0-5)
medium (6-10)
high (11-15)
very high (16-20)
extremely high (21 and more)

Example

Let's imagine there's an ongoing ICO of Supercoinxxx in which you want to invest some money.

The topic is self-mod (5 points) with devs that have unrealistic goals (5 points) like creating a decentralized stock market in 2-3 month and a fuzzy whitepaper (5 points) with no technical details. Also you found two minor suspicions (2 points) based on your experience. Which gives 17 points in total. Based on that score you conclude that risk is very high and skipping this ICO.

Updated: added "no escrow" criteria.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Zcash (Zerocoin) fork with no shit on: October 20, 2016, 07:20:03 PM
Hey guys I'm looking for a Zcash fork without blatant robbery. Is there one?

What I've found so far:

Zcoin - the devs get 20% of the reward in each block (1440 XZC daily = ~7000$). 7k$ daily for a fork? That's two and half of a million dollars annually! I mean 2,500,000$ USD annually! Are you fucking kidding me? No! Fuck no. First I didn't know it and bought some but gladly I knew that later and sold all my coins (with a good profit btw).

Wrapper - ICO; not released yet.

Zcash itself  - well this one with a reasonable donation to the devs but not released yet.
5  Local / Политика / Реально «Единую Россию» поддержали 15% избирk on: September 24, 2016, 09:41:00 AM
Quote

Another day another scam: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1552176.0

Meanwhile current @niktitan132 is not a poor Yugoslavian kid: https://www.linkedin.com/in/stas-nikolaev

Bought account + ICO = 99,(9)% SCAM!

No real whitepaper - check

The whitepaper (I can merely call it a whitepaper) is utter bullshit with no technical details. And according to that whitepaper the decentralized cloud system is, I quote, a group of nodes ordered by geolocation.
You can find more nonsense in this 'whitepaper': https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8VJa9S_WxSSSHJhN0o0QkVPN1E

Unrealistic - check
The devs want to deliver: a) CLOUD-BASED BLOCKCHAIN b) DECENTRALIZED TRADING / STOCK MARKET c) FLEXIBLE PLUG-IN SYSTEM within 1 fucking month!
Read more about the key features: https://web.archive.org/web/20160818041108/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1552176.0
Also custom tokens, smart contacts, and other (see  whitepaper 3. CORE FEATURES).

Ethrereum is a half of it and it took 30M USD and 2 years of development to create such a system. All these things declouds devs are gonna develop with 300 BTC and one dev. Fucking genius!

So let's conclude: declouds is no ordinary but bad-prepared scam. Well, scammers you evolve so do I...

What do you do if you invested?
1) Ask for a refund (you will likely need to be REALLY persistent to get it)
2) Be smarter next time and do your own research.

ALSO: Refundable ICOs now must be a good practice. Welcome to the world's first refundable ICO (AntShares): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1571738.0

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [XEL] Elastic Project - Unmoderated Thread on: April 15, 2016, 10:53:57 AM
READ FIRST: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1426466.0

I created the thread because the dev is censoring every message he doesn't like.

TLDR: Lannister is a bought account from an asian kid, self-mod topic to censor any 'unwanted' posts, no demo/working prototype and less than 1.5 months until the release, no funds/team to build the project, the repo is a just Novacoin fork (later the dev forked Cryptonite) that has NOTHING to do with the decentralized supercomputer, no escrow or miltisig wallet with trusted partners.

Original thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1396233.0
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [SCAM ALERT] Elastic Project - The Decentralized Supercomputer on: April 05, 2016, 05:14:21 AM
I found out that Elastic is a scam. Why?

Anon dev (no dev team) - check
Scammers always find some reasons not to disclose real names. No real persons = 99% scam.  PRO TIP: never deal with devs that don't have working history or at least verifiable public profiles (facebook/linkedin/ect).

Bought account - check
If you read old messages you'll find that they are completely different from what the OP's posting now. Btw, it's a new trend scammers no longer use newbie accounts so always double check accounts with history.

No code snippets or videos - check
Scammers can never provide any proofs like a demo or a working prototype, or at least code snippets or videos of the product.

Self-mod topic - check
Scammers don't like any critics and are never open to a free discussion because they are afraid of their scam will get exposed. Also, the dev removed my message where I was requesting screenshots.

Far from reality - check
Scammers always do unrealistic goals like creating a decentralized supercomputer with a minimum budget of 100 BTC and one-man dev team.

Also, scammers are almost always in a hurry. (not this one)

I've been on this forum for a while and participated in many IPOs/crowdsales and got some experience. And according to that experience I can sadly say Elastic is a scam with 99.(9)% probability.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Racism is a real thing (this thread is extremely racist) on: February 01, 2016, 02:12:01 AM
Why do people deny such a obvious thing as racism (inequality of the human races)? People don't deny if someone says that one is smarter than other one. But when you apply the rule to the races this is a crime.

11  Economy / Speculation / Your predictions for 2016 on: December 27, 2015, 07:29:50 PM
Here are mine:

In 2016...
  • Bitcoin price will fall below $200
  • New altchains will start taking over Cryptoland
  • Bitfinex will likely go bankrupt
  • Altcoins maket share will grow significantly
  • Meanwhile Litecoin price will fall below $1
  • And ETH price will touch (or will be close to) its pre-sale
  • At least one Chinese exchange will be shut down
  • First altcoin w/ market capitalization > 1M BTC

Make yours. Time will tell who is right...
12  Economy / Speculation / I'm dumping my bitcoins so you should on: December 18, 2015, 03:12:43 PM
It belongs here, not the speculation section.

I was always selling during this fake pump (you really never know when it ends) and will be more as it goes up and I'm not re-buying later even if price goes below $200. I won't regret even if it goes above $1000 someday when I sold two times cheaper. I think it was the last big pump we could ever see.

Someone might say that "I lost faith" but there should be no faith, common sense should be. Let's be frankly. Banks/governments will never use Bitcoin. Instead they will create own scalable blockchains. Normal people will never use Bitcoin. They simply don't need it. This means that bitcoin won't go mainstream and price won't get that high.

Just think how the US government/JP Morgan/BoFA will adapt a currency which majority of emission is held by some kids and cryptopunks. Also 1/21 of coins is held by some anon who calls himself "Satoshi". This is no serious. This is fucking ridiculous.

Comparing bitcoin capitalization with gold's is fucking ridiculous, too. Gold has got history of thousands of years and a lot of applications. Meanwhile Bitcoin is just a virtual asset that's been known for about 7 years and has got very poor applications. What is worse is that bitcoin is not really scalable.

Again. Comparing bitcoin capitalization with facebook's is even more ridiculous. Facebook is a large company that connects the entire planet. Holding Facebook stocks generates huge revenues. Meanwhile BTC is just a speculative virtual asset. Not scalable. Old. Always bloating. Not stable. It's even not decentralized!

Also, such a risk as banning Bitcoin in many countries must be considered. First of all, in China. Chinese government is a totalitarian one and they will finally ban bitcoin if it becomes a problem for them. Just like here, in Russia. European Union will likely ban using of bitcoin someday "to stop ISIS/terrorism financing". The US is not the world. The rest are weak/poor/small countries.

What about the upcoming block halving - price went down when the Litecoin halving happened. Expect the same when the Bitcoin's happens. Don't put into this hype or you will most likely be eaten by whales.

This all doesn't mean the whole crypto scene is doomed. No, absolutely not. I'm sure we will see new much better truly decentralized applications in the near future that will dominate/replace bitcoin. And not just bitcoin.

TLDR: Sell out your BTC; don't rebuy it. Invest in other blockchains. Also, don't get fooled by the "hodl" propaganda that makes you never get a profit while whales do because YOU buy&hold.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Time-based crypto container on Bitcoin blockchain? on: November 13, 2014, 08:16:28 AM
I wonder if it's possible to make some kind of crypto container using blockchain technology which I can only decrypt after sometime (eg. 1 year). I know there are some methods depending on Moore's law and weak cryptography but this is not what I need. In brief, I'd like to have a time capsule.
