Many farmers in the US are now planting solar panels because the soil will no longer support crops. Eventually, climate change will cause massive crop failures, which will lead to mass starvation. Even in the richer countries, a loaf of bread/jug of water will be worth more than a gold coin. Crypto will fail as the utilities collapse.

A lot of bots are starting to hit my servers to leech information that I compiled by leeching from bitcointalk. ibminer designs and builds those server HTML and CSS pages with love; do not waste their beauty on a bot.  If BPIP were to build a simple to use API and BBCode Generator for the real time information/rankings the site provides, would you use it in your development/posts? We'll take care of the parsing, and you can use the information to impress the community. I will be coding in a free limit obviously, but right now you'd need to use at least 10x more resources than you are right now before I notice it. |

We all know the saying " Never argue with an idiot, people watching may not be able to tell the difference". Over the last few days I have been countering a lot of tag-team idiots, and I can envision Theymos shaking his head sadly every time we post. It's become redundant and boring. The kicker is - I'm the only one on DT, so I'm the only one that is losing when people see us all as idiots. So I'm just going to click "ignore" on these three idiots and let them post their garbage. Their aim is to intimidate me and make me react, but I'm not like that anymore. I'm starting a new thread for this because I want people to be aware that if I don't reply, it's not because I can't counter, it's because I'm not going to see their idiot messages. I will let time work in my favor |

I realize this forum is no longer being developed, so my suggestion will probably be ignored, but I just wanted to put it out there...
How about a cool off period when leaving negative feedback?
Since a lot of feedback is left in the heat of the moment, I would suggest new negative feedback from DT members be "queued" to be verified again by the profile an amount of time later. It certainly would contain sudden uprising of drama response and counter response and counter counter response.
You would have to explicitly have to make two choices at different times to apply the feedback.

BPIP now has a new report that lists DT1 trust inclusion/exclusion changes. https://bpip.org/r/dt1changes.aspxIt will update every 10 minutes. Useful during dramatic times on the forum. (DT2 changes will be in a different report, updated weekly) This is different than LoyceV's trust list - that one is a snapshot in time, this one is a list of changes. I always though of myself like soap. I clean the obvious dirt on the outside. Every now and then an infection breaks out and Theymos has to start some antibiotics. While it takes care of the immediate problem, it doesn't cure the root cancer. No idea if the cancer formed years ago, or just recently when I discovered it. Right now I'm confused. I was shocked to see OG post within minutes of Theymos sending me a PM about merit source. Almost as if he knew about the PM. But then, the last PM I sent to Theymos was complaining about this lie. Theymos replied to me that it was not true and OG was forced to remove it. The temp solution against these lies about the Admin was Theymos telling OG to ignore me. If he will lie about Theymos, and he will lie to Paypal and the IRS, of course he will lie to pathetic forum members like all of us. So I'm taking a few weeks off for mental health. If I come back, I hope Theymos addresses these ongoing cherry picked lies. I'll also update what I know about IRS investigation at that time. Of course, maybe OG didn't lie about his trust feedback, and really does have a feedback bug. He has been experiencing a lot of bugs recently, and I'm glad some of the DT are noticing. BPIP will continue running under the username "proflescraper" unless Theymos shuts it down. |

OG I know you were bullshitting again when you posted "contact me and I'll send you contact info for my legal representation." You've ignore all my attempts to communication I know you lied and don't have a lawyer. But my settlement does not require one. I propose the following, once the IRS has concluded their investigation: 1) If you have been telling the truth (overall) and there has been no tax evasion, I will leave the forum. 2) If you have been lying and overall taxes have not been paid , then you leave the forum. We can sign irrevocable messages, and if Theymos agrees, he can enforce it by auto banning the account. You trust Theymos to be fair, right?

Long time users know me as a good judge of scammy behavior. As my interests have changed, I have started to pick the lower hanging fruit - the ones easiest to identify. I no longer deeply investigate, and let others with the skill and interest to do so, to do so.
Recently I identified a very probable scam. This has ruffled the feathers of those that profited over the last six years. I'm now childishly being called an enemy of bitcoin and an enemy of this community. So, I want to take two days and see what everyone else thinks.
